365. Another Intimate Moment
Frostâs heart fluttered restlessly against her chest. It felt like it wanted to escape, beating audibly as she walked down one of the warm corridors of their home. Jury accompanied her, her head bobbing with the same enthusiasm she always had, but never tended to show all the time.
The floorboards groaned, and Frost repeatedly glanced at the newly installed windows, fidgeting with her hair as one half of her grew restless, and another self-conscious of the fact that tonight would be another intimate night.
Few words were spoken between them. Instead, their hearts exchanged words, transmitted through their arms that occasionally bumped into one another. Frost eyed Juryâs tail expectantly, wondering when it was going to wrap around her waist.
The moonlight shone through the clear glass, painting the walls with their shadows. Soon, the voices from the atrium disappeared entirely. Frost was arguably the most sociable person out of everyone else, but she suddenly felt embarrassed when she tried to say something to break the cascading silence.
So, she suddenly plopped her head onto Juryâs arm, a soft sigh venting from her moist lips.
âWhat took you so long to come back?â Frost asked, staring down the hallway at their roomâs door. âDid they show you something cool?â
âAre you jealous?â Jury playfully hummed.
âThe Main Branch sounds like a place worth visiting. I wanted to see how the Arms are manufactured. How they have their industries laid out so we can learn something. I wouldâve loved to stroll around with you.â
âMhm. Me too. You were with that Corrupted today. Mimicry?â
âYep. We have another Alter Frost on our hands. Whatâs next? A Cat eared me?â Frost jokingly said, although, there was truth in her words.
If there were no limits on the forms that her Alter Frosts could take, then it was entirely possible to come across one. Hell, maybe even one with a gun could one day make an appearance.
âIâd love that.â
âI feel like everyoneâs looking forward to a me they can pamper.â Frost laughed. âBut I think Iâd rather see a wolf eared version of you too.â
âAn Alter me?â
âNot that they exist. Itâd be fun though. Imagine an army of us.â Frostâs eyes then narrowed as she fell into deep thought. âMimicry feels like itâs the strongest Alter Frost. Having the ability to read the minds of people it eats sounds incredible. I wonder how itâd get along with the Hired Arm.â
âYou canât bring it up here?â
âNot until Iâm sure it wonât try to attack anyone. I know Corrupted donât really have a choice in who or what they are, so itâs a matter of changing them. Mimicry seems willing to as well. Thatâs enough for me to give it a chance. What do you think?â
âIf itâs an Alter Frost, then mhm. Why not? Itâs hard to tell if itâs deserving. We know that a lot of people weâve fought will end up becoming Condemned. I canât bring myself to forgive people like the Blood Moons or Gambit Teams.â
âNeither can I.â Frost firmly agreed.
She was willing to forgive a literal incarnation of a nightmare, but not those criminals. In her eyes, they were worse than Mimicry, and it went to show how far Frostâs morals had changed since she arrived in this world.
The mood unexpectedly became heavy, and Frost apologized for it.
âOh, that reminds me â I bought one of these.â Jury suddenly reached into her Dimensional Storage as she turned away from Frost.
Moments later, she equipped something onto her head and turned around, revealing a sight that nearly caused Frostâs heart to stop beating.
âWhat the- T-they have animal ear accessories in this world!?â Frost shouted in a whisper, fighting the urge to reach up and rummage through Juryâs hair. âNo way. Are those real, or are they fake? They have to be fake, right?â
What she wore was a headband with two white, fluffy, artificial wolf ears atop her head. They perfectly meshed with Juryâs hair and if she didnât know any better, then she would have believed Jury to be a Wolf Demi-human.
âOf course theyâre fake. I wouldnât buy real ones. Mmm. Frost, you know I wouldnât do that. We both know Brandar isnât anything like Grandis. Seeing that level of brutality is rare here.â
âYeah. Youâre right about that. Sorry. My mind instantly jumped to somewhere dark.â Frost muttered apologetically, recalling the cruel process of Demi-humans who had their animal characteristics hacked off in Grandis.
Just the thought of it caused her blood to boil, and as if sensing this, Jury lowered her head.
âWanna pet me?â
There was only one correct way to respond to this.
âYou know Iâd love to. Câmere~â Frost indulged in petting Juryâs head, combing her fingers through her hair as they finally reached the door to their room. âThat reminds me. How do you take care of your hair? Is it just with my bi-daily [Cleanse]?â
âItâs natural! I think? Have you ever seen an Angel with bad hair?â
âNow that you mention itâ¦â Frost mumbled to herself, thinking about the Arbiter and the Beholders regarding their hygiene.
Did they even shower? Or did healers [Cleanse] them too? Were their RESIST levels so high that it was physically impossible to become dirty? Even though she didnât speak a word regarding her train of thought, Jury seemed to be able to read her mind as she answered with:
âDoes it matter?â
âNot really. Just weird when you throw Cer into the mix.â
âFrost.â Juryâs voice suddenly intensified as the door slowly creaked open, revealing blue double bed.
It was situated beside a glass door, which led to a balcony. The parted curtains revealed the boundless sight of the distant plains and mountains, as the light of the full moon painted the walls a gentle blue.
âPlease donât mention anyone else. Itâs just the two of us right now.â Juryâs eyes mellowed, her words instantly sedating Frost into a lovable trance as they stood by the doorway. âI want you to only think about me. I donât want to feel like Iâm the only one that canât think of anything else but you.â
âYouâre always on my mind.â Frost cooed, finally feeling something slowly wrap itself around her waist as the duo made their way inside.
Jury carefully dragged her to the edge of the bed, where she pulled Frost to sit on her lap, all the while she allowed her to rummage through her hair. Eventually, Frost moved her hands down to Juryâs tail, where she made a proud, flushed face.
âSofter than ever. I didnât decorate it much since I wanted to get your input too.â Frost said, her moist eyes moving around their moonlit room. âThis is our home, so letâs build it together. Thatâs what I thought.â
âIâd love to have a mirror.â Jury hummed, right as Frost tilted her head up.
âArenât my eyes enough for you?â She slyly hummed, finally getting Jury to blush deeply.
And this seemed to awaken something in her too. Suddenly, she took both Frostâs arms and secured them high above her head as she loomed over her, a hand cupping her cheek.
âJury?â
âYou shouldnât tease a wolfâ¦â Kisses were planted on the side of Frostâs tender nape, causing her to squirm delightfully, right before the headband fell off with a small clank.
âWhat wolf?â Frost laughed, as did Jury.
Slowly, she carried Frost and slipped her onto the bed, her tail still attached to her waist. She stood just inches away from her knees, basking in the moonlight as she began to undress, the white coat silently slipping away after various clicks and undone buttons.
âFrostâ¦â
âItâs beautifulâ¦â Frost was speechless as her lover revealed her white, babydoll dress which hid underneath her apparel. Various parts were transparent, revealing her gorgeous curves, abs and flawless, flushed skin that begged for contact.
Frost instinctively moved backwards, allowing Jury to collapse onto her as a knee slipped between her legs. The scent of roses instantly embraced her as a comforting heat radiated from her lover.
A hand moved down to cup her cheeks, a thumb caressing her skin before she sealed her lips against hers. Frost allowed it to happen, surrendering to the heat as her body began to yearn for hers, a hand sliding into her shirt to feel the softness of her stomach.
âThere are so many things right around the corner. Can you feel it, Frost? My heartâs racing because it wants you. All this stress and anxiety⦠Letâs let it all wash away.â Jury tenderly admitted, her eyes drowned in a fog of lust.
Frost reached out to her and brought her head down to her chest.
âItâs not just you. I guess this proves Iâm still human. Jury. All of me belongs to you, soâ¦â
âYou donât have to tell me. Iâll do it again and again. Frost⦠please let me eat you.â
âMm. Go right ahead.â
