Ch.29 Spring in Full Bloom
Splendid Fall
Chapter 29
Wren, who are these people? Birdie asked through their new mind-link as they followed Tau and his people down the stairs.
They're Bedouins, Wren said, his eyes scanning the narrow passage and the people surrounding them. Desert tribe.
Anything we should know about them? Birdie asked.
Always assume the worst in people, little bird, Wren said. That way you won't ever be caught off guard.
"So," Tau looked over his shoulder. "How did you two get out here?"
"We were separated from our tour guide," Wren said before Birdie could speak.
"That's some shitty tour guide if they bought you out here in the middle of the night like this."
"I think their intentions were to rob us," Wren continued. "They took everything and left us for the vetalas."
"The world is a dangerous place nowadays," Tau shook his head. "You can't trust anyone."
"But you trusted us," Birdie spoke up. "You brought us into your....home?"
"Well, we weren't going to leave you out there to be eaten," one of the women holding up a torch to light the way said.
Tau laughed. He looked over his shoulder once more with a grin, "The vetala usually leave a mess and it stinks up the place for weeks after they feed. We're just looking out for ourselves."
"Ah, I see," Wren nodded.
As Tau turned back around, the people behind Birdie and Wren slowly began to disappear into the many cave entrances that appeared along the path. One by one, they left until only Tau and the woman with the torch was left to guide the pair.
"You didn't tell us your names," the woman said, pausing at one of the cave openings.
"I'm Wren," Wren said. "And this is Birdie."
"Nice to meet you," Tau held out his hand. "You already know me. This is Veera, my wife."
"Nice to meet you," Birdie smiled politely at the couple. "Thank you for saving us."
"You two kids out on your honeymoon?" Veera asked, leaning towards her husband.
"What?" Wren snorted. "No! Her?"
"Yeah," Birdie stepped aside from the fey. "Not him. Anyone else but him."
Tau and Veere stared at the pair.
"I thought you said she was your wife," Tau arched his brow.
"No, you thought she was my wife," Wren corrected him. "I just didn't think it was an appropriate time to correct you while being chased by a blood sucking sand mummy."
"So you two are not married?" Veera tilted her head.
"No," Wren shook his head. "Ridiculous idea."
"You're protesting a little too hard, my friend," Tau teased. "Must be something for you to be holding her hand like that."
Birdie and Wren looked down at their intertwined hands.
"Get off of me," Birdie pulled back, causing Veera and Tau to burst into laughter.
"Come along," Veera shook her head and turned to enter the new passage in front of them. "You two hungry?"
Wren guided Birdie to go before him as he followed close behind. The short passage opened up into a large clearing with a bonfire in the center. There were many tents arranged methodically around the large fire as people sat around drinking from small glass cups and eating from wooden bowls. There were children running around and families walking in and out of tents.
"Welcome to our village," Veera said, walking in and looking around. She looked around before calling to a young man who was stirring one of the pots over the fire. "Uba, bring two bowls please."
The young man looked up and gave a small nod. He gathered the two wooden bowls and quickly served up some stew and dunk in two slices of bread.
"Here we go," Tau said as he led Birdie and Wren to a nearby table and sat down. "Eat up."
"Thank you for your hospitality," Wren said.
"Don't thank us," Tau watched his people. "We're just doing what we can. Putting out good karma so we get some back."
"Thank you," Birdie said.
"What's the plan for you two?" Veera asked as Uba set down the bowls in front of Wren and Birdie.
"We would like to stay the night," Wren declared. "In the morning we will head out and make our way back home."
"Home?" Tau asked. "Where is that?"
"Yuri," Birdie said. "East end of Yuri."
"Near the glass sea?" Veera asked.
"Yes," Birdie nodded.
"That's not too far from here," Tau said. "We can take you in the morning once the vetalas go to sleep."
"We would greatly appreciate that," Wren said. "We need to leave as soon as the sun is out."
"Say no more," Tau nodded. "We have people go out every morning to the market. You can follow them to Yuri."
"Until then," Veera sighed and straightened up. "You two can spend the night here. I'll see if there is an extra tent and I'll arrange for some new clothes."
"Thank you," Birdie said once more.
"Enjoy the food," Tau smiled. "It's not much but..."
"It's more than enough," Wren said.
"I'll be right back," Veera smiled before taking her husband's hand and leading him away.
Birdie fiddled with her piece of bread and watched the pair. They laughed and teased each other all the way to their tent on the opposite side of the clearing. Strangely, she was reminded of her parents. And with the memory came a heavy sadness that settled upon her shoulder like a heavy burden.
"Why Yuri?" Wren reached for the pitcher of water and poured Birdie a glass before pouring himself one as well.
"To find the key," Birdie looked away from the couple and towards the fey sitting beside her on the bench. "I haven't told you about the key, have I?"
"No," Wren shook his head.
"The fourth gate doesn't open with a gemstone," Birdie said. "It opens with a key."
"How do you know this?" Wren asked.
"Because that is how the fey on Earth along with Ira and her people used to travel between our two worlds. It's a golden key and the only way out of here is with that key at the fourth gate."
"Is that also the only way in?"
Birdie nodded, "I had the key on me when I fell in...It's in the glass sea."
"And the giants have nets at the East ends of Yuri," Wren concluded.
"Yes," Birdie said. "Ira was going to trade you for a closer look at the nets."
"Smart move," Wren said, ripping off a piece of his bread. "So that's why we're going to Yuri? To fetch this key?"
"Yes," Birdie nodded.
"Ira will be waiting for us there."
"That's why we have to go there before she gets there and tell the giants there are jinns around."
"You're turning against your own kind," Wren smirked. "Bad, little Birdie."
"No," Birdie's eyes narrowed. "I'm not turning against my own kind. I'm trying to get home and stay the hell away from my abusive grandmother."
"Will you be taking her with you?"
Birdie froze.
She hadn't considered what she would do once she got the key. Of course, she would go home. But what about Ira and her people...Surly Heyder would want his mother back. But how would Ira react to seeing Maya and Hayden and Noor and Zuri?
As Birdie sat pondering the situation in her head, Wren's head turned towards her. He watched her slim fingers play with her bread as she stared at the table, lost in her thoughts. Her brows were furrowed and her hair had come undone from behind her ear. Irritated with the damn thing, Wren reached out and tucked it back.
It was only then did his eyes fall on the marks on Birdie's face. Wren's jaw tensed as he counted the five red marks of Ira hand's on Birdie's face. With his thumb, he traced one of the marks, causing Birdie to look up and turn towards him.
"Why did you save me?" Wren asked, his eyes on Birdie's cheek.
Unconsciously, Birdie leaned into Wren's hand. She felt her heart slow as he rubbed his thumb over her stinging cheek. The autura between them sparked to life and began to pull on each other's energy.
"I couldn't leave you there," Birdie said, her voice so low.
"Why not?" Wren lifted his gaze and found Birdie.
"Because you saved me," Birdie said.
The corner of Wren's mouth danced with the ghost of a smile. He pushed his hand farther into Birdie's hair and moved a bit closer.
"Give me your hand," he said.
"Why?"
"Will you never do as I ask?" Wren chuckled.
"Most likely not," Birdie said, raising her hand.
She watched Wren take her hand and place it over her cheek. He let his hand over her as he looked into her eyes and leaned a bit closer.
"Now," he began, his voice deep and low. "Very slowly, I want you to pull on my magic. Not too much. Imagine it's.....sand in your palm and you have to release it slowly."
Birdie nodded.
"Good," Wren smiled. "Go on...start."
With a deep breath, Birdie closed her eyes and called upon Wren's magic. She instantly felt her body heat up and her pulse quicken as if she was at the top of a rollercoaster.
"Focus," Wren pulled her closer and placed both of his hands around her face. "Slowly..."
Birdie inhaled sharply as she allowed just a tiny bit of Wren's magic to release into her palm.
"Good," Wren smiled, his eyes distracted by the way Birdie's lips parted. "Now.....a bit more."
"Wren," Birdie whispered.
"Yes?"
"What are we doing?"
"I'm healing you," Wren said. "Well...you're healing yourself with my magic."
"Why?" Birdie's eyes fluttered open and she caught the fey's navy blue gaze.
"Not every question has an answer, sultana," Wren said.
Birdie didn't know what to say as she became lost in the sea of blue she swam in. Her toes tingled and her cheeks warmed from the way Wren held her. Her heart started to beat faster and faster as her gaze began to slide down the fey's sharp features. His nose, his high cheekbones, his narrow eyes, his dark hair, his hard mouth, his sharp jaw scruffy with a light stubble. Adan never had a stubble.
Birdie's eyes snapped up.
Her heart ceased up and her hands turned ice cold. She immediately slid her hands away from Wren and swallowed the lump in her throat, still unable to look away.
"What's wrong?" Wren asked.
Birdie shook her head, "Nothing."
"Liar," Wren tried to catch her eyes.
"Don't call me that," Birdie snapped, remembering how Adan used to call her a liar to tease her.
"Did I just hit a nerve?" Wren arched his brow. "Liar..."
"Stop it!" Birdie stood to leave.
"Wait," Wren grabbed her wrist and pulled her back to her seat. "Stop, stop."
"Why should I?"
"Because we don't know where we are and I won't want you to be too far from me," Wren said. "And also because I am sorry for teasing you."
"That's the first time you have ever said sorry to me," Birdie said.
"No, it's not," Wren sat her down.
"Whatever," Birdie muttered.
"So who was it?"
"What do you mean?"
"Who used to call you a liar?" Wren asked, sipping his drink.
"It's none of your business," Birdie said.
"Your brother?" Wren asked.
"No."
"Your sister?"
"I don't have a sister."
"Then there's only one other person who could ignite such a strong reaction," Wren said slowly. "You have some waiting for you back on Earth."
Birdie's chest tightened as soon as images of Adan's smile flashed across her face.
"Ahh," Wren grinned, sensing her emotions through the autura. "I was correct."
Birdie glared as she turned away and faced the crowd.
"What's his name?" Wren asked.
"Wren," Birdie sighed.
"Wren?" Wren's eyes widened.
"No," Birdie clicked her tongue. "Wren, stop it. I don't want to talk about him to you."
"Because it makes you feel guilt?"
"What?" Birdie snapped. "No! I don't feel guilty!"
Wren grabbed Birdie's wrist and instantly their magic began to pull on one another.
"You can't lie to me, little bird," the fey said.
"I don't feel guilty," Birdie snatched her wrist back. "Not in the sense you're applying it to."
"Then in what sense?"
"I...." Birdie let out a breath and shook her head. "I don't know! I feel guilty because I haven't thought about him and he's probably worried sick about me and here I am thinking about him in the most inappropriate comparison. He's so sweet to me and he loves me and I...."
Birdie stopped. Unable to continue from the way her breath hitched in her throat and her emotions stirred up.
"You don't feel the same way about him," Wren finished, watching her.
"Don't be ridiculous," Birdie turned and glared at the fey sitting beside her. "Of course I feel the same way about him."
"So you love him?" Wren asked.
"Yes!"
"But not in the way he loves you."
"You don't know what you're talking about," Birdie gave a snort harsh laugh. "He's amazing."
"Oh, I bet," Wren nodded.
"I love Adan. We're so happy together and I can't wait to be back home with him," Birdie continued. "He makes me happy and he makes me feel loved and cared for and -"
"Shhhhhhh," Wren placed a finger over Bride's lips. "It's okay. You don't have to pretend around me."
"I'm not pretending," Birdie pushed the fey's hand away.
"Don't worry," Wren smirked. "I won't tell him."
"You will never meet him," Birdie glared. "You're not coming to Earth, remember."
"Even better for you," Wren smiled. "Go one and tell me your darkest secret and I will take it to my grave here."
Birdie pressed her full lips into a thin line and narrowed her eyes, "I don't have a deep dark secret."
"Are you really comfortable with the idea of being with Adan and going on with your life pretending you love him when you know damn well you don't?"
Birdie felt her heart stop and her breath lodge into her throat. She was speechless as she stared at the fey with her eyes wide open and her lips parted.
"You..." she said, her voice laced with lothating and irritation. "You have no idea what you're talking about."
"Stop lying to yourself, Sultana," Wren said. "And spare the poor boy's heart."
Feeling a sense of dread and pressure in her chest, Birdie jumped up from her seat, knocking over their drinks. Wren remained still as he watched the water spill and let Birdie's emotions soak into him.
Liar, liar, pants on fire, he thought to himself.
"Stop it, stop it," Birdie placed her hand over her ears. "Get out of my head!"
"Birdie?"
Birdie stilled as Veera slowly walked up toward them with a pile of clothes in her hands. Her eyes wandered from Wren to Birdie as she hesitated slightly.
"I brought a change of clothes," she said.
"Thanks," Birdie lowered her hands from her ear and cleared her throat.
"Do you want to clean up?" Veera's eyes still moved from Wren to Birdie. "We have some hot springs in one of the caves."
"Oh yes," Wren rose from the bench casually and stretched. "That sounds wonderful."
"No, thank you," Birdie shook her head.
"Don't mind her," Wren walked up to Veera and took the clothes. "She's shy."
"I'll have Uba show you to your tent and then to the spring," Veera said.
"Lovely," Wren smiled.
Birdie opened and closed her fists as she stood firmly in her spot with her heart beating wildly in her chest. Her head swayed with Wren's words as memories of Adan kept pushing their way into her mind.
"Let's go," Wren said, taking her hand and leading her towards the tent.
"I am not going anywhere with you," Birdie hissed, trying to pull her hand back.
"Don't make a scene," Wren whispered back.
"Go to hell," Birdie yanked her hand away and marched off after Veera.
With a sigh, Wren followed behind as they were led to a small tent away from the fire and the crowd. Inside a thick carpet was laid down on the dirt floor. Two narrow beds were placed in the back with a pillow each and blankets.
"Will this do?" Veera asked as Birdie and Wren stepped inside.
"Oh this is much better than the place I just came from," Wren said looking around. "Thank you."
"You're welcome," Veer smiled. "Uba will be here to take you to the springs."
"Alright," Wren said.
Veera gave Birdie a small smile before slipping out of the tent.
"These are for you," Wren looked through the pile of clothes and handed Birdie a long tan dress with three quarter sleeves and a braided belt around the waist. "And these are for me."
Birdie took her dress and folded it into a ball. She could feel Wren watching her from the corner of his eyes as he fussed with the cuffs around his wrists. The sounds of drums and laughter came from the bonfire and Tau and his people carried on with their daily lives and festivities. Birdie could feel each beat of the drum shake her heart. She wanted to go and sit with the crowd when the young man from earlier entered the tent.
"Veera said to take you to the hot springs?" Uba asked.
"Yes," Wren picked up his clothes.
"This way," Uba motioned.
Wren walked out and waited for Birdie. He hid a teasing smile as she glared past him and marched off behind the boy. Chuckling under his breath as he followed behind her towards the back of the cave and up the slop.
"This is it," Uba said as they entered a dimly lit cave with low ceilings and a blue bubbling spring in the middle.
Birdie stepped forward, feeling her muscles ache for a hot bath. The steam that rose from it was so inviting and warm. She could hardly wait to jump right in.
"Where's the other one?" She asked, looking back at Uba.
"It's in the other cave, but it's being used right now," the boy said. "You will have to share this."
"No way in hell," Birdie said immediately.
"You could take turns..."
"I'll go first then," Birdie turned towards Wren. "Get out."
"Don't take too long," Wren grumbled as he stepped out of the cave with Uba.
"Where's the door?" Birdie asked, following them out. "Or covering or something to block the entrance."
"There isn't one," Uba shrugged. "The light is dim and the springs are deep. No one will see you."
"So I just bathe with an open door?" Birdie asked, horrified.
"This isn't exactly your palace, Sultana," Wren said. "Take what you get."
"I..." Birdie's stomach tightened. "I don't want to anymore. You can go."
Uba looked at Wren.
"You go on," Wren said to the boy. "I'll stay and stand guard."
"No, you don't have to," Birdie said.
"I felt how excited you were about the bath," Wren said. "Go on. I'll stay out here."
Birdie hesitated as Uba turned and walked off. She looked back at the spring and then at Wren.
"This isn't a good idea," she said.
"Okay, fine. I'll go," Wren stepped into the cave. "Damn this water will sure feel good. And I know your body is aching after all that tumbling around."
Birdie watched as Wren yanked off his shirt and then his shoes.
"You sure you don't want to?" Wren asked. "I'll let you go first."
"You'll stand guard?" Birdie asked, lifting her eyes from the water.
"Yes," Wren rolled his eyes. "I'll keep the monsters away."
Birdie still hesitated.
"Here," Wren held out his shirt. "You can wear this in the water."
With timid hands, Birdie took the shirt, "Thanks."
"Don't take too long," Wren said as he grabbed his shoes and walked over to the cave's entrance.
As he stood with his back towards her, Birdie quickly slipped out of her clothes and pulled on his shirt. She carefully made her way over to the edge of the spring and dipped her foot inside.
"What is it?" Wren asked, hearing her gasp.
"It's so warm," Birdie laughed.
"Hurry up," Wren pushed.
Birdie looked over her shoulder, "Don't look, okay?"
"Got it, got it," Wren waved his hand, leaning against the cave walls.
Lowering herself, Birdie slipped into the spring and laughed as the warm water leaped up to greet her. She let her body slip under as she dived in and then popped up a few feet away.
"Oh my god," she laughed, feeling her muscles relax. "This is amazing."
"Yeah, yeah,' Wren muttered.
Using her arms to keep her afloat, Birdie swam around, diving in and out to soak up her hair and wash out the dirt from it. The water was divine. She wanted to soak in it forever. But within a few minutes of her inside the spring, the water began to shimmer and glow.
At first Birdie thought she wasn't seeing correctly. But as the soft light illuminated the walls of the cave, she stilled and scooped up some water.
"Wren?" She called to the fey, her eyes on the water. "The water is glowing."
Wren didn't reply right away. Birdie knew he was still nearby as she stood still in the middle of the spring with the water leaping up to her chest.
"Why is it doing-" Birdie looked up.
Wren stood at the edge of the spring watching her. His eyes were glued to her just the way his wet shirt clung to her skin. Birdie felt her legs start to buzz and tingle as his eyes roamed over her face and then down her neck. The navy blue of Wren's eyes seemed to darken. His chest rose and fell in a steady beat with only his eyes doing any kind of movement.
"I..." he began, clearing his throat and shaking his head before rubbing the back of his neck. He forced himself to look away and stare at the water. "I think the springs have a direct source to the Splendid Falls. If the water is pure then it does that when it detects fey magic."
"Oh..." Birdie said, unable to look away from the boy in front of her.
Wren didn't go back to his post. He stood staring at the water for a while before lifting his gaze back up to Birdie. Their eyes locked and Birdie felt her stomach tighten.
As if knowing what she wanted but would never say, Wren slowly began to remove his shoes once more. Birdie turned away as he stripped off his pants and slipped into the spring.
The water moved and rippled, creating small waves that collided with Birdie's back as Wren moved closer towards her. As she felt the fey swim up to stand behind her, Birdie's breathing labored. She almost jumped out of her skin as Wren's hands landed on her waist and he began to push up his shirt.
Underneath the water, Birdie felt her thighs tighten and press against one another. The steam from the spring amplified Wren scent as he glided the wet shirt up and up until it was over her head and thrown back onto the rocks. Birdie could feel Wren's chest brush up against her naked back as he gathered her silky wet locks and combed his fingers through them.
"Turn around," Wren said, his voice heavy.
Birdie slowly turned with Wren's hands on her hips under the water. For a split second the situation was clear as day in her mind. She was standing naked in a hot spring with a fey she didn't even like. Yet, she couldn't care less and nothing made any sense beside the need in her for his hands to touch her.
Wren moved Birdie closer with one hand on her hips and the other resting on the edge of her face. He knew Birdie could feel how fast his heart hammered under her palm on his chest. He tilted her head back and slowly leaned forward to brush his lips over her throat.
Birdie gasped. Her fingers curled back, her nails scraping against Wren's hard chest.
"I can sense it," Wren whispered against her skin. "We both need the same thing right now, little bird."
Birdie felt her head sway. The need building inside of her knocked the wind out of her lungs as her body began to move and do things without her permission.
"May I?" Wren asked, his hand slid down the curves of her hips.
Birdie nodded, "Yes."
Wren's large hand made its way down Birdie's hips and down her thigh before making its way between her legs. Birdie bit back a soft moan as her eyes closed and her toes curled in anticipation.
"Wrap your legs around me," wren said, his breathing changing suddenly as if he couldn't move fast enough.
Birdie did as she was told. She pulled herself closer and wrapped her legs around Wren, feeling his erection rub against her beneath the water.
"Wren," Birdie looked down into the fey's eyes as he pushed her up. "This is crazy."
"Do you want me to stop-"
"No," Birdie pulled herself closer just as Wren grabbed the back of her neck and pulled her mouth down to his.
A low groan came from the back of Wren's throat as he crushed Birdie's lips to his. His hand on her was firm and strong as he gripped her wet hair and wrapped his arm around her body.
Feeling his hard cock rub against her, Birdie moaned into Wren mouth, earning another thrust. She bit down onto his lip as he pressed her up against the smooth rocks and pushed his hand in between her legs.
"You're so fuckin' beautiful," Wren said as he slipped his finger inside of Birdie, making her head roll back against the rocks.
Her mouth was wide open, making Wren wanna do crazy things. Fun things. Wild things. Her chest moved up and down, making the water dance long with her as his fingers moved in and out of her. Wren couldn't get enough of her as he took her swollen bud in between his fingertips and rubbed.
"Don't stop," he said when Birdie bit down on her lip to stop herself from moaning.
"Wren," Birdie called his name breathlessly.
"Yeah?" Wren smiled as he pulled his hand out and grabbed her hips.
Birdie picked up her head, feeling the blood rush back into the rest of her body. She opened her mouth to ask him what he was doing when Wren grabbed her hips and lifted her onto the edge of the spring.
"Don't move," he said, grabbing her ankle.
"The little rocks," Birdie frowned. "They hurt."
"Not for long," Wren pulled her closer and spread her legs.
Birdie's eyes widened as Wren began to kiss the inside of her thighs before making his way towards her sensitive spot.
"Oh! My god..." Birdie squealed as she grabbed a fist full of Wren hair as his tongue darted out and licked her folds.
With a rumbling moan that echoed off the walls of the small cave, Wren threw Birdie's legs over his shoulder and pulled her closer. His tongue parted her folds as he pushed it inside, tasting her sweetness.
Birdie leaned back with her hands on the ground to keep her upright. Her wet silver hair clung to her chest as her body glistened with the spring's water. She bit down on her lip as she gripped Wren's hair and pushed him farther in between her legs.
As Wren tortured her, licking her clean only to make her soaking wet once more, Birdie fell back against the rocks. Her back curved off the ground as one of her legs lifted and Wren's tongue began to move faster.
Birdie bit back a scream of pleasure as Wren began to use his finger along with his tongue. She could feel her whole body light up like a star as she crumbled in front of him and finished in his mouth.
Panting, and desperately trying to catch her breath, Birdie felt Wren pull back before he lifted himself onto the rocks and loomed over her.
"What..." Birdie stared into the fey's dark eyes. "What did we just do?"
"Something I've been wanting to do since I laid my eyes on you," Wren confessed.
"No, Wren," Birdie suddenly pushed him back and sat up, pulling the wet shirt back and covering herself. "This is wrong."
"Birdie..."
"Leave," Birdie said, staring at the water and feeling her insides do weird things.
"No, talk to me," Wren grabbed her hand.
"Wren, stop," Birdie shook his hand off and climbed back into the water.
She dived in beneath the surface and felt the water shift and move as Wren came in after her. When she resurfaced, they were back to square one. Her back towards him, his hands on her hips, her hair moved to one side.
"Birdie..." Wren whispered into her ear. "Don't say it's wrong."
"It is," Birdie bit down on her bottom lip to keep herself from turning around and leaning into his touch.
"Why?" Wren asked.
Birdie didn't reply. She closed her eyes and tried to find her will power to pull herself out of the spring.
"Is it because he's waiting for you back home?" Wren asked, his lips brushing her ear.
"No, no," Birdie pushed away. "Do not bring Adan into this!"
"You're feeling guilty," Wren said, recognizing the sensation inside of his chest.
"Of course I do!" Birdie pushed Wren's chest. "What the fuck did we just do? How can I let you..."
"I want to do it again," Wren said.
"No, no, no," Birdie shook her head. "That is never happening again. You will never do that to me every ag-"
Wren didn't let her finish as he pulled her back to his mouth. Instantly, Birdie's arms wrapped around his neck as she began to give him back the same need and the same desire that he had shown her.
Wren took his hand off of her to show her he wouldn't make her do anything she didn't want to do. He held them up beside himself as Birdie wrapped her legs around him and pulled him closer.
"Goddamn it!" Birdie moaned in frustration as she began to grind herself against Wren. "What are you doing? Hold me!"
"Tell me to do it," Wren said.
"What?" Birdie asked, leaning back to look at him.
"Tell me with your words what you want me to do," Wren said, his hands still not touching her.
"Touch me," Birdie felt her back tingle as Wren's hands came back and gripped her ass.
"Happy?" Wren asked as Birdie kissed him.
"No," Birdie shook her head.
"What more do you want, princess?"
"Touch me, Wren," Birdie said in frustration.
Wren smiled against her lips and moved his hand between her legs to play with her once more. She was so fucking warm and ready. It made him throbbing hard just feeling how smooth she was and how tight she was.
"Happy now?" Wren asked, fingering Birdie.
"No," Birdie shook her head once more.
"How may I be at your service, madam?"
"Fuck me," Birdie said, gripping the hair at the base of his neck.
"Not here," Wren pulled his hand out from inside of her and began to move them both towards the edge of the spring.
"What?" Birdie almost screamed.
"Just give me a second, darling," Wren chuckled.
He pulled himself up onto the edge and lifted Birdie out. Picking up their dry clothes, Wren handed Birdie her dress, "Here. Put this on."
"No," Birdie said stubbornly, crossing her arms over her chest.
"You're delaying everything, you know," Wren laughed, walking over to her and putting the dress over her head.
"Delaying what exactly," Birdie asked innocently as Wren dressed her.
"Every second we spent here is a second I am not inside of you," Wren said, letting the tan fabric fall down Birdie's wet legs. "And I hate delaying the inevitable."
"So you knew this was going to happen?" Birdie laughed as Wren pulled on his pants.
"Of course," Wren said with a smile on his face. "I knew it the day you tried to kill me."
Birdie laughed, making Wren hard. He grabbed her hand and rushed out of the cave, sticking close to the edges of the tent before slipping past all the people and disappearing into their own small tent.
"Make the bed bigger," Wren said as he turned and began to tie up the small latches by the entrance so no one could disturb them.
Birdie felt her stomach tighten with excitement as she raised her hand and summoned her magic. She felt Wren's magic dance along with her as she willed one of the beds to grow in size.
"This is so stupid," she said, laughing as Wren took off her dress once more and laid her down on the bed.
"Want to stop?" He asked.
"No," Birdie sat up and pulled the fey on top of herself.
"What did you want again, prince?" Wren asked as he began to leave kisses all over Birdie's chest. "Remind me."
"Fuck me," Birdie said, breathlessly as Wren took her breast into his hand and squeezed, pinching her nipple in btween his fingers.
"Are you sure?" Wren asked, watching her melt under his touch and feeling himself ache.
"Yes," Birdie pulled at him.
Wren leaned back and pulled off his clothes. He allowed himself a few moments to admire Birdie's naked body as she laid on the bed waiting for him.
"What?" Birdie asked, feeling her need for him turn into a painful ache.
"Open your legs," Wren said from where he stood at the edge of the bed.
"I don't want your mouth again, Wren," Birdie complained. "I want more."
"Open your legs," Wren said once more, his words slow and demanding.
His tone and his eyes made Birdie's knees weak. She parted her leg, feeling the warm air inside the tent meet her aching core.
"Touch yourself," Wren said, his eyes moving down her legs and fixing on her folds.
"What?" Birdie felt herself blush.
"Go on," Wren said. "Let me see."
Birdie felt electricity run through her body. She timidly gilded her hand down her stomach and towards her core. Her fingers move slowly and shy as she parted her lips and rubbed herself, feeling Wren's needy eyes watch her the entire time.
"Oh fuck," Wren groaned as he took himself into his hand and began to rub himself. "Don't stop that."
"Wren," Birdie called to him as her legs shook and she wanted nothing more than to have his rock hard cock inside of herself.
"Keep playing with yourself," Wren said.
"I can't," Birdie shook her head. "You do it."
As Birdie withdrew her hand, Wren laid down beside her. He grabbed her hips and turned her around to lay on her front.
"Oh your knees," Wren said, breathlessly. "Not."
Birdie curved her back and pushed her hips against the fey. She grabbed the sheets over her head as Wren dug his finger into her hips and pushed inside of her. Birdie grabbed a fist full of the sheets and bit down on it to keep herself from moaning louder than the drums.
Wren groaned in pleasure as he began to thrust faster and faster. His heart couldn't keep up with his body as he stared down at the way Birdie curved up for him. He wanted to tear her apart yet love her like an angel. He wanted to do the dirtiest things to her yet keep her on a pedestal. Wren's mind was a mess as he lost all sense of himself when Birdie looked back with her eyes filled with need and her lip between her teeth.
"Fuck," Wren bit down on his jaw as he pulled out and flipped her around.
"What's wrong?" Birdie asked.
"Nothing," Wren said, hooking her leg on his arm and entering her again. "I wanna look at you."
"Then look at me," Birdie said as Wren began to fuck her harder and harder until her legs shook and she swore she wouldn't be able to think straight anymore.
Feeling Wren near his high, Birdie pushed her hand into his hair and pulled his mouth to her. She parted his lips and danced her tongue over his as he bit down onto her bottom lip and pulled out of her.
Groaning in the back of his throat, Wren grabbed Birdie tightly as he finished, his cum spilling onto her stomach. Birdie showed no mercy as she prolonged his torture by rock her hips slowly and teasing him.
"Birdie," Wren said, completely breathless. "Baby, stop."
"No," Birdie whispered into his ear before biting his earlobe.
"When you don't do as you're told," Wren chuckled, moving his hand between her legs. "There are consequences, sultana."
"I can handle it," Birdie whispered as Wren slipped his hinges inside of her.
Don't judge Birdie before you read more...I never claimed she was perfect.
