What's A Mate?
So this is the big chapter where she finds out
Summer's POV
I ran to the window in the kitchen searching my backyard for wolfs.
Oh oh oh God
Four giant wolfs with matted fur and barred teeth sniffed the air. As if the smelled me the looked at the window.
They looked like they found there prey.
Me
They ran at the house and I quickly ran upstairs.
I heard the kitchen window shatter and the door swing open.
Growls and snarls echoed in my ears.
Locking my door I started pushing all my furniture against it.
I hid under my bed and grabbed my phone.
Carter
"Summer?"
I let out a loud sob and started wheezing
"Carter w-wolfs h-help!"
The wolves were pounding at the door.
The phone died and I help my breath.
Shit!
The biggest alpha looking wolf grabbed my leg.
I let out a cry of pain as I felt his teeth dig into my skin. Twist. crunch.rip.
I was dragged out from under my bed and the wolves surrounds me.
"CARRRRRTTTTEEEETRRRRRRRR"
I screamed but yelped when the wolf growled.
This is it I'm dead.
My arm was bit into as this huge black wolf Mr.Wolf! Ran in.
He let out this huge growl which had me flinching. He was like two times the size of the the others.
He starred at me and my hand and his eyes darkened. He dashed at the wolf squeezing my hand in his teeth.
I heard loud whimpers and opened my eyes to an unpleasant scene.
Mr.Wolf ripping the shoulder of his challenger.
The wolf under him morphed into a a a HUMAN.
WHAT
THE
HELL
I let out a sob and screamed.
"This isn't real this isn't real" breath Summer breath.
I looked up to see Mr. Wolf morph into a human.
And the Human was
Carter.
Slipping on shorts he ran to me but I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.
(Carter's POV)
After leaving I smelt this horrid smell
Rogues
I decided to pretend to drive off but stay in Carter's house to watch her.
He's out and hey I have a bad feeling.
I quickly hopped in the shower when my phone rang
Summers ring tone blasted and I quickly jumped out sensing something off.
"Summer?"
I heard her sob and my heart felt like it broke
All I could hear was "wolves help!"
Then the phone clicked off.
The smell of rogues got stronger and I quickly shifted and ran to summers house.
I let my wolf take over and protect his mate.
(Damien the wolves POV)
I dashed faster as I heard Summers screams
NO ONE HURTS MY MATE
I dashed through the window
And let the anger fuel my legs.
I skidded to a stop to see Summer bleeding surrounded by rogues.
I charged at the one biting Summer.
And took it out.
Ripping out the throat of the second in command.
And ripping the shoulder of the 'leader'
But he shifted and Summer saw.
"This isn't real this isn't real"
I shifted quickly and pulled on shorts knowing he was to hurt to do anything I ran to Summer.
But she closed her eyes and blacked out
I called my third in command to have him get a team to clean the mess and rushed Summer to the pack doctor
Two days later :D
Iv haven't been able to sleep seeing Summer like this
She's sleeping in my bed under the covers bandages wrapped around her
The lightest little breath pours out of her as she opened her eyes.
She takes in a deep breath of what I think Is my scent and let's out a sigh
She looks around the room and her eyes widen when they get to me.
(SUMMER's POV )
H-he shifted into a wolf and he
Killed.
"Monster" slipped through my mouth
As I shot up only to cry out in pain.
He rushed to me and I saw hurt in his eyes as I flinched.
"Please don't kill me" I whispered barely audible.
A growl slipped through his throat and I quickly tried to slide away.
This bed is huge.
I made it to the other side while he seemed lost in thought and crawled to the door stupid foot.
Ow
Ow
Ow
I turned the nob but was grabbed at the waist and was dragged back.
I heard my screams echo off this giant room.
"NOO PLEASE LET ME GO!"
"Summer"
"PLEASE IM SORRY"
"SUMMER!"
"Monster!"
The word kept flashing in my head.
He has killed
He's a monster just like that guy.
"Summer if I wanted to hurt you I would have already please just listen to me." Carter begged his voice pained.
I nodded at him but still scooted back.
"I'm a Werewolf, and I am the Alpha of my pack which means I'm the leader. WereWolves have these things called mate, they're like soulmate you will die without them, they're your other half. Summer your my mate.
I can't live without you Summer I need you my pack needs you. Since your my mate you would be the female ruler like the king has his queen. Please summer be my queen I'm not going to hurt you.
It's my job to protect you Summer cause your my mate and since I'm an alpha you get the possessiveness the drama but please Summer."
"Wait how am I your mate if I'm human?"
"The moon goddess puts two people together at least one being a werewolf and she pics them out especially for you." Carter explained.
"So you can just shift when ever?"
Carter nodded.
"Please Summer if you reject me I will die without you literally I have already fallen in love with you."
"Does this mate thing change stuff between us?"
"Yes but trust me Summer you won't regret it."
"Can you shift please?"
He took off his shorts and shirt and I quickly covered my eyes.
Next think you know I felt the bed dip and look up to see mr.wolf
"Carter?" He shakes his head no.
"Mr. wolf?" He barks and lays down.
I pet his soft fur and lay on top of him.
"Your Huge!" I giggled and squeezed him
"Who's a cute little puppy? You are!"
---1 week later---
It's been a week since I learned about everything.
Well I'm still learning.
Carter has taught me about rogues, pack positions, being a Luna, the mating process, when you first shift, and has even shown me a few members of his pack.
Tonight I'm going to meet his parents.
My dad is finally getting home tonight so I won't be alone.
Isabel and Ashley have slept over the past week.
I'm wearing a peach dress black heels a black necklace and black earrings.
My long hair is straightened and iv been preparing what I'm going to say.
A knock at the door sends my heart into overdrive.
What if I'm not good enough because I'm human?
"Wow you look beautiful, but isn't that dress a little short." Carter said letting his eyes roam over my dress.
"Carter sweetie it's not even that short ok shall we go ?"
I walked outside passed Carter's grumbling and waited for him to lock the door.
We arrived to this cozy two story house behind what you would call the pack house.
"I'm scared."
"Don't be your perfect." Carter squeezed my favs and got out of the car.
He grabbed my hand and knocked at the door.
The door was opened a woman ran out and squeezed me and spun me around.
"My baby's found his mate! And a beautiful one two." His mom said
I can see the resemblance the black fair and blue eyes.
"Hi I'm Ted" a man that looks like an older version of Carter said. His black hair turning grey but he had brown eyes.
"Summer, it's very nice to meet you guys."
We sat down to a freshly made dinner and I laughed at the baby stories and went to the back with Miranda (Carter's mommy)
We prepared desert.
"How are you accustoming to everything?" She asked
"It's a lot to take in but I'm trying."
She smiled and gave me a hug
"If he ever bugs you, you better a know."
