Chapter 43: A Brother's View

Switching to brothers

A/N this is going to be in 3rd person but it will focus on what the brothers did that day ;) also there will be some crude language since we are focusing on the brothers. You have been warned :)

Jesse and James White were driving to their supposed best friends house to lay out some 'rules'. They were mad, no furious, that the person who they could rely on the most was dating their little sister. Just the thought of it made their stomachs churn.

"I still can't fucking believe that they're dating." James exclaimed.

"They're not dating, just going out on a hangout. There's a difference. Hopefully." Jesse mumbled the last part.

James huffed. "Still can't fucking believe it." He shook his head.

The two twins rode in silence. They had always had each others back. They were closer than people thought since they seemed not close at all. They could tell what each other was thinking, and sometimes, even had the same sickness.

Very odd indeed.

They pulled up to Ian's two story brick home. It was in a neighborhood with houses almost identical to it. It wasn't big, but it wasn't small either. A perfect size house for a son, mom, stepdad, and three triplet girls. Ian never got along with his parents. They never tried. He found solace in the White family and they happily accepted him as one of their own.

James knocked on his front door while Jesse was pacing behind him. "Jesus Christ Jesse. Quit your fucking pacing you shit head."

Jesse stopped and looked at his twin. "Call me a shit head again I dare y-" he was abruptly cut off by a woman opening the door.

"Ahh the White twins. How may I help you?" A woman who looked like Ian asked.

"Oh yeah we were hoping to talk to Ian." James monotonously replied.

She smiled. "Of course. Well he's in his room. Come in," she lead them in a house they had been in so many times they knew it by heart, "please excuse the mess, the girls were playing with their dolls. I think you know the rest of the way. If you need anything just holler." She said and smiled.

Jesse nodded and said thanks while James just journeyed up the stairs. They walked through the hall filled with pictures of the triplets, his mom, and his stepdad. It always made Jesse sad coming here, going up to his room. There were little to no pictures of Ian in the whole house. Maybe a baby photo with spaghetti sauce on his face but that was it.

That was the main reason Ian came over to the White's mansion. He was ashamed. Ashamed of himself for not making his parents proud. It hurt the Twins even though they could do nothing about it.

Without even knocking James threw open the door. "Open up bitch!"

"What the hell dude?! It's already open!" Ian said loudly.

"We have some rules to go over with you before your 'date' with our little sister." Jesse commented.

"Look guys, she's your baby sister. I would never do anything to harm her. I respect her too much to do that." He said sympathetically.

"That's the bare minimum. You need to make her smile. Make her happy. Make her have fun."

"But not too much." James interrupted.

"Yes but not too much. And if you don't," Jesse said while James started to move towards his best friend and picked him up by his shirt.

"We will kill you." James finished. Once he was satisfied with his doing he put him down walked over to Ian's bed.

"You think I didn't think of that before I asked her? I know you don't want to hear this, but I really like her." Ian argued.

Jesse's mind was foggy, he really doesn't know how much it hurts to have her to do this, he thought. Lidia was Jesse's baby girl. His little sister. The girl who on her first day he had watched Brother Bear with.

"We know, but seriously, don't even think of kissing her. We will be watching like hawks. Got it?" Jesse continued.

Ian snorted. "What else? You gonna put a microphone on me too?" Ian sarcastically said.

"Actually, that's a good idea." James said while he was sitting on Ian's bed.

Ian's face paled. "Don't you even think about it." He said while putting his left hand out and backing away slowly.

"Jeez, calm down. We were only joking about the microphone. Maybe.." Jesse tried to assure him.

Ian picked up his phone and cursed. "Shit! I'm late! I gotta go, bye guys."

"Don't forget our rules! Or else we'll beat you till you're black and blue!" James called out.

Ian held up his middle finger while rushing out of his bedroom. The two twins chuckled and followed him out, although it was slower than Ian had. They climbed down the stairs, into their car and off to their house. Luke was supposed to pick them all up and watch the diner.

Like the car ride to Ian's house, it was quiet except for the slight noise of music. With one hand on the steering wheel, James was slightly bopping his head up and down to the music.

James was very good at concealing his emotions. He had too. He got so good at it in public, that eventually, he couldn't shake off the cold demeanor. Sure he loved his sister just like the rest of them. Sure he was protective, but weren't they all?

Jesse was leaning his head against the window, watching as the trees go by; thinking to himself, how did she go from a toddler who couldn't even pronounce our names right, to a girl who was going on a date?

He never figured that one out.

They got to the house and leaped out of the car and hurriedly jogged to Luke's car. Luke put the car in drive and rushed to the diner.

"You told her the rules right?" Zack asked worriedly.

"Yes I told her the rules." Luke responded in his usual monotone voice.

"Okay. Good. Good." Zack, still worried, said.

Like the car ride to Ian's house, faint music was playing and they were all stuck to their thoughts. Although everyone had their different opinions on this 'date', they all had one thing in common; sadness. Sadness that Lidia would like someone enough to defy the rules.

Zack unbuckled and scooted closer to the dashboard in anticipation. They had arrived at Braunch. Before Luke was even parked they were all unbuckled and at the edge of their seats, trying to get a better look at what's happening.

"There," Caden pointed, "there they are."

"What is she doing? What is he doing? What are they doing?" Jesse rapidly asked. He couldn't see since his older brothers were all blocking the view. Instead he looked out his car door window and saw Sasha's car. Seems like they had the same idea, he thought. Audrey saw him and she tapped Sasha and pointed to him. All three of them nodded and went back to their watching.

"It looks like he's smiling." James said to no one.

"Really? I didn't know that." Caden sarcastically muttered.

"Yeah you're right. I didn't know that." Jesse replied to his snarky comment.

Caden pushed Jesse's head into the window. Jesse groaned and rubbed his head. "You little fucker..."

"Boys! Stop before I beat the shit out of you two." Luke calmly threatened.

The two gulped and nodded. They watched for a little while in silence. The occasional word was spoken, but other than that, none.

"Wanna know something funny?" Jesse asked them.

"What?" Zack asked uninterested.

"He gave the idea himself to put a microphone on him." Jesse snickered.

Zack snorted at the comment. "Why? We already have microphones almost everywhere in that diner. It cost like five hundred bucks to do it!"

"So? What's five hundred dollars?" James replied.

"You sound like such a spoiled brat right now." Caden muttered.

"Says the one who only had enough money to make his own business because of the money in this family!" James replied.

"Can you two shut it?" Zack snapped.

"Hey guys, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't think our microphones are working." Jesse said.

"What? What'd you mean they're not working? We just bought them!" Zack exclaimed.

"I think it's because I may have forgotten to turn them on." Jesse's voice got smaller, and smaller towards the end of his sentence.

"James! This is all your fault!" Caden joined in.

"My fault?! How is this my fault?!" He loudly defended himself.

"You were supposed to double check if they were on!" Caden yelled.

"Boys! All of you," Luke calmly stated, "please shut it. If you continue to keep up this noise, when we get home I will make you run up and down our driveway thirty times. Understood?" They all meekly said 'yes sir' and went back to watching in silence.

Throughout the whole time they were watching them, they never got bored. Not because they thought it was Love Island, but because they 'needed to see if they needed to chop of their best friend's dick'. Jesse got a slap in the head for that one.

It had felt like hours had gone by when Lidia finally came out. They were so excited to get her away from their backstabbing close companion. Instead what they got is what they wanted the least. Never in the world would they want to ever see this happen, but it did. Sadly.

"Finally she's came out. W-what's she doing? I-is she? Oh hell no. She-she's kissing him!" Caden yelled.

Lidia came rushing to the car and all the boys began to holler. Even Luke. Albeit he just raised his voice the tiniest bit, he still talk with no purpose. Sure all Luke did was calmly say she broke a rule, but the other brothers, it was terrible. None of them could hold in their anger. It didn't matter what they said though, they were all thinking the same thing.

I'm going to kill him.

Luke's past threats came into play when none of them obeyed him. But since Lidia only broke a rule and was mostly quiet, she got five up and downs. In her head that was an amazing deal.

Lidia got done with hers first-obviously- so she decided to sit and watch her brothers with Luke. He was sitting cross legged on a lawn chair, sipping some type of tea with a bit of alcohol in it.

"Can I have a drink? I'm really thirsty." Lidia panted.

"No." He simply said.

"Pleaseeeee!" She drew out.

"Do you want to run another five?" He slowly looked at her.

"No."

"Good." He turned his head back to his younger siblings.

A few hours had passed before dinner was served. Audrey had gone home-much later than Lidia suspected though- and Sasha was 'dying' to know everything even though she knew exactly what happened. Dinner was quiet with all of their hair damp.

Luke really doesn't play around with his punishments does he, Lidia thought. Even Zack had to run.

Luke sat at the head of the table, watching his siblings eat dinner. He was quite proud of himself. Luke loved the power and control he had. It's what made him who he was and he knew it.

Sorry for the short chapter. Really ran out of ideas here. I hope you liked it and don't forget to vote, comment, and obviously like :)
