Chapter 19: Again? Seriously?

If I was a unicorn what would I be called? Lidacorn? Unida? I honestly don't know.

"Miss White! Are you all done daydreaming? Or should I send you to the principals office?" My teacher, Mrs. Gray said. I'm pretty sure she added a 'won't be the first time a white sibling has been sent to the office'.

To Mrs. Grays dismay, I started to daydream again. It wasn't until the boy next to me, Keith, pulled my hair. As any normal girl would, I looked at him. "What the hell was that for?" I whisper-shouted.

"I dunno. Fun." He said. I'm 99% sure he's half caveman.

"Miss White! Mr. Rentuck! Office now!" The woman I call teacher yelled. I'm sure my face was ghost white. I had never been to the office before. Well besides that one time when they told me Carl had died. I hate Carl.

Keith glared at me. Well okay buddy. Just because YOU got US in trouble doesn't mean you have to go berserk. Is this like an all day thing? He gets him and other people in trouble and he glares at them? I'd hate to be his friend.

I'm about a hallway away from it when Keith stops. My face contorts into one of confusion.

"Um Keith? I know your brain is the size of a plant cell organelle but I'm pretty sure you know what go to the office means. Right?" I ask him.

He chuckles. "Oh Nutty Slutty. You have much to learn. When the teacher says to go the office and they don't escort you, you just do whatever and go back in like five minutes"

"Um why?" I ask. I don't see any point in just waiting around.

"Gosh you really are stupid. When you go back they'll ask you what the principle said and you say 'just don't do it again'" I open my mouth to say something "And no, before you ask they don't know if they actually said that. And how will they know if we actually go to the principals office?"

Huh. The first smart thing he's ever said. I nod my in acknowledgment.

We head into class and sure enough the teacher asks what he said. Keith gave the answer that he said he would and as one might expect, the teacher nodded her head in approval.

The class ended with me again, staring off into space and Keith annoying some other kid.

The rest of the school day went by slow. Go to class; stare into space; repeat. By the end of the day, after doing absolutely nothing, I was almost asleep. Blinking to keep my eyes open on the drive home. Jesse saw me fighting to stay awake and out of pure and absolute pettiness, he turned on white noise.

What a total douche

Sure enough I fall asleep but that's not all, James also fell asleep. How fun. We stop at the house and as one would, before getting out of the car he gets Sasha and Zack who were discussing work related things, and they take a picture. What I haven't told you yet is that Jesse has a project he's taking home and set it on his passenger seat meaning James was sitting next to me. Asleep.

You might be wondering how I know all this. Well let me say that Sasha isn't very good at keeping secrets, let alone ones that have to do with my and my siblings.

And that's how my day went. Pretty boring I know.

Dear diary,

I fell asleep on James's should in the car today. A boy named Keith Rentucky pulled my hair and got us in trouble. It's always the Keiths. I learned a new way to lie today. Well not really new but one I never thought of doing. A horribly boring day.
