Chapter 17:

Like yesterday we rode in the car, me again being in the middle. Seriously how does he do that?! As soon as I close the door he zooms off.  Very rude if you ask me. I could've got my hair stuck! That would have hurt really bad.

After my rant about Jesse driving off without me even buckled, I realize we're at school. Yay. Another day of being bullied. At least at this school I have friends. At my old school no one wanted to be my friend and I was totally fine with that. I mean I did get lonely at times but that's okay, long as I had myself then I'll be alright.

We got out of the car, everyone staring at us. Well they were staring at my brothers and if their eyes drifted a little away, they would see me. Would I like to be noticed? Only a little bit. I would only like the perks of being noticed. Someone would at least try to stand up for me. Umm that's about it. The cons of being noticed is people stare at you. I hate when people look at me.

I head straight for my locker. Thankfully everyone seems to have forgotten about the girl who showed up with the 'infamous White Brothers'. I grab my first two periods books. I walk towards math when out of nowhere a foot stretches and trips me. Great, the bullying has begun.

"So, I saw you get out of the car with Jesse and James White. Mind telling me what you were doing with them?" A really pretty girl, I'm assuming the one who tripped me, asked, tilting her head.

"I uh. W-why do you want to know?" I cleared my throat, trying to make my voice sound more confident.

Which is clearly not working since she replied, "Because," she smirks, "I want to know who's hanging around with my boyfriend" she said in a half duh tone half annoyed.

What. Wait- is she talking about my brothers? Last time I checked only one of my brothers had a girlfriend. And that one was Caden. "Um who's your boyfriend?" I asked, genuinely confused.

She scoffed, "Jesse of course! Ha you weren't thinking that he was your boyfriend were you?" She explained. Umm let me get this straight. So  Jesse, tied with Zack for the nicest, funniest brother, is dating this prick?!

Me being me, I said, "Oh my. You're funny. That was a good joke. Now seriously, who are you talking about?"

Of course Lidia Cams/White's life can't go a little bit good and so for that comment , she gets a kick in the face. And the physical bullying begins. "I am not joking! He is my boyfriend. Now don't you get any ideas, I won't be so nice the next time around." She hissed. Ma'am are you a cat? What do they call it these days? A furry?

I decide to skip my first class... and the rest of my classes until lunch. You may be wondering where I spent it. Well I sat outside on the bleachers reading my book. I already learned all this stuff.

The lunch bell rang and I went to lunch, skipping down the empty hallway. Audrey and Evan were there, asking me where I had been for the first half of the day. I simply told them I was tired and took a little nap. It was at the end of lunch when things got interesting.

"Ugh look at her. She's practically shoving herself into him. That's sexual assault." Audrey pointed out.

I cranked my next to see where she was looking at. It was that girl who had tripped me. "Who is that girl?" I asked no one in particular.

"She the typical cliché queen bee. She's practically in love with your brother." Evan explained. Huh. Nice information, I'll be sure to write that in my diary.

"So she's not his girlfriend? Well I mean I knew she want it's just that, she told me she was but I didn't believe her."

Audrey scoffs, "As if she could ever get with him. She's just your average hoe" she ranted.

My insides instantly felt sadness creep into them. If she's a hoe, and. Carl and the student body says I'm a hoe, does that mean me and her are the same? My thoughts were interrupted by a hand on my shoulder. I gave the tiniest of flinches, one that you would have to be staring at my to see.

"Why hello little sister. Why don't you come sit at our table hm? That way you don't have to sit by the trashcans" I look up to see my funniest brother already looking down at me.

"No Jesse, I'm alright, thank you for the offer though" I told him sweetly. Why would he come over here to ask me that? He didn't ask me that yesterday.

"Well sis, I wasn't really asking. Come on and sit with us please?" Jesse kept trying.

"No no, it's fine. I don't want to be a bother" I say with a wave of my hand.

"We're not asking, we're telling. Come and sit with us. Now." James said coldly, very different from the James this morning.

"O-okay. Well um, I'll see you guys later" I waved them bye.

We sit down and I recognized some faces. Kenzer and Kai I think their names were. They're my brothers friends. They give a little wave. No one bothers to introduce me to any of them. To my left were some kids sucking on each other's faces. Very disturbing.

This went on for the rest of lunch. No one talking to me and me just eating my food and staring off into space. At least  if I were with Audrey and Evan they would've tried to start a conversation with me.

The rest of the day went on per usual. Me skipping my classes, I'm probably going to get in trouble for that, and kids staring at me.

We got into the car, me thinking it was a boring uneventful day. Oh how wrong I was...

I am sooo very sorry. This chapter sucks, ik. I didn't think of anything for this. I have to do homework 🤢🤮. Wish me luck. As always, I hope you like it and don't forget to vote, comment and obviously like:)
