32. Let's go home
Telepathic Heart (GxG)
As usual, Will and I are the last one at the restaurant. I think she has done it on purpose by putting my schedule like that because it's been like this the last few days.
Willow is cleaning in the kitchen while I am clearing the floor in the restaurant. I can see her peeking at me sometimes. Things have been a little quiet since the morning we made pancakes together, but I think it's mostly because we have been busy with our own things.
I have school and my brother. Willow has been working a lot with paperwork the past few days.
"Are you okay?" Willow asks.
"Yeah, I just finished," I say and find the way to the small storage room. We find everything in there like soap, broom, and extra waitress clothes in case we get something on us.
"Are you okay?" I wonder as well, and I close the door behind me.
"Yeah, I am alright." She smiles at me, but I can see the tiredness in her eyes.
"Are you tired?" I chuckle, and we go into the dressing room to find my jacket.
"Yes, I am so exhausted," Willow complains, and a cute, big yawn follows after.
"What is it?" Willow asks, crossing her arms over my chest.
"What?" I wonder.
"Your lip, there is something." She says.
"My lip?" I question as I bring out my jacket and pull it on.
"You bite your lip, meaning there is something." She laughs lightly.
"Nothing," I tell her, but she is right; I want something. Honestly, all day I have wanted to go home with her. Going to my dad's is not really something I want today.
"I don't believe that." Willow blocks the door, so I can't get out. She is staring at me with her beautiful green eyes and with that smug smile on her face.
"You are not leaving until you tell me what it is." She tells me, crossing her arms again, being dead serious. My cheeks turn to fire right away. The shyness is taking over me.
"What?" She chuckles at me.
"Nothing," I say, gazing down at the floor to avoid her eyes.
"Hey." She surprises me by laying her hands on my cheeks, forcing me to look into her eyes.
"You can tell me anything, you should know that by now," Willow tells me calmly, and the care in her eyes shines brightly. I sigh loudly in defeat.
"I don't want to go home," I say, and a smile on her face comes to show.
"Okay." She just says, and I watch her walk past me to get her own jacket. Before I knew it, she stole my hand and dragged me after her. We step into the night, cold, and the pouring rain.
We reach the car, but she stops and turns to me. The night lamps shine, enough for me to see her face. The look she gives me is confusing.
"Will..." She took hold of my face and laid her lips on mine faster than I could say her name. Her lips are wet and soft. I wrap my arms around her back, the more intense the kiss gets.
My body has been craving her like this for a while now. This is real; it's not a dream anymore. I step back from her as I realize what I just thought. This is actually real.
"What?" Will asks, seeming worried at my action.
"Nothing." I smile.
"Are you sure?" She wonders, moving forward to me and lay her wet, cold hands back on my face.
"Yes, I'm sure," I say, and I stand on my toes to reach for her lips again. She lets me in, and this time it gets more intense as if we are struggling to reach for each other.
Willow surprises me by turning us both around, my back hitting the car harder than I expected. Her lips never leaving me as she grabs my wrists and holds my arms back onto the car door.
The cold rain leaves my hands numb, my hair is soaked, and my clothes wet all through to my skin. My body shakes from the coldness that has set its mark on my body.
She moves back from me; a desire has set in her eyes now. I thought I was the only one, but I guess not.
"Let's go home."
