"The Concert"

Sana Short Imagines

Y/N and Mark were buzzing with excitement as they sat in the VIP section of TWICE’s concert. It was their first time attending, and they had gone all out by booking the best seats in the house, determined to make the most of the experience. The stage was so close that Y/N could already imagine seeing her idols up close, and Mark was practically vibrating with anticipation.

“I still can’t believe we’re here!” Mark blurted out, his voice shaking as much as his body. He hadn’t stopped talking since they sat down. “This is going to be epic. We’re going to see TWICE in real life! Right there! Right in front of us!”

Y/N nodded, smiling at her friend’s excitement, though her own heart was racing too. “I know, Mark. I’m just trying to process it quietly,” she said with a laugh.

But Mark wasn’t having any of that. He kept fidgeting in his seat, his hands shaking as he held his lightstick. “What if they notice us, Y/N? What if Jeongyeon looks right at us? Or Dahyun waves? I might pass out. No, scratch that, I will pass out!”

Y/N chuckled. “Try not to faint until at least halfway through, alright? We’re too close to the stage to miss anything.”

Minutes ticked by, and the excitement of waiting began to wear off for Mark. He leaned back in his seat, groaning. “Why haven’t they started yet? It’s been forever!”

Y/N was about to respond when, suddenly, the lights went out. The entire stadium erupted in cheers, the deafening sound of thousands of ONCEs roaring in unison. Mark’s complaint turned into a full-blown scream as he shot up from his seat.

“Oh my god, it’s happening!” Mark shouted, completely ignoring Y/N’s ‘bruh, you just complained’ look.

The stage was dark, but the outlines of TWICE’s members could be seen through the fog, their silhouettes sending the crowd into a frenzy. Y/N’s heart pounded in her chest, the excitement building as she realized that in just seconds, TWICE would be right there, performing live in front of them.

The first notes of the opening song blasted through the speakers, and as the lights illuminated the stage, TWICE appeared, all smiles and dazzling energy. Mark let out a loud sob next to her, catching Y/N off guard.

“Mark, are you seriously crying already?” Y/N asked, giving him a side-eye. “We just got started.”

“I can’t help it!” Mark wailed, his face wet with tears. “They’re so perfect! This is a dream come true! I’m—I’m so ugly crying right now, but I don’t care!” He kept singing along through his tears, waving his lightstick like his life depended on it.

Y/N couldn’t help but giggle at her friend’s reaction. “Alright, alright, cry all you want. Just don’t pass out on me.”

She turned her attention back to the stage, her heart swelling with happiness as she watched TWICE perform. The girls were giving it their all, their voices filling the arena, their choreography flawless. It was everything Y/N had imagined it would be and more. The energy of the crowd, the excitement in the air—it was all overwhelming, but in the best way possible.

Y/N thought to herself, This is one of those moments I’ll never forget. She felt a deep sense of pride watching TWICE, knowing how much they had gone through to get to this point. Their hard work, their struggles, all led them here, performing for thousands of fans who loved them just as much as Y/N did. She was grateful to be a part of that, to witness their success and share in their joy.

“This is everything,” Y/N whispered to herself, her heart full. The concert wasn’t just a show—it was a celebration of TWICE’s journey, and she was honored to be a part of it.

After TWICE’s high-energy opening performance, the lights dimmed slightly, and the members took a moment to catch their breath as they greeted their adoring ONCEs. Jihyo took center stage, her bright smile radiating across the audience.

“1, 2, 3. One in a Million. Hello, we are TWICE. ONCE! Did you enjoy the first song?” she asked, her voice filled with excitement. The crowd erupted into cheers, Mark being one of the loudest as he screamed his approval, causing Y/N to chuckle at his over-the-top enthusiasm.

Jihyo began introducing each member, and as they took turns saying their names, Mark would scream louder for each one, his voice cracking as he yelled, “I love you, Jihyo! QUEEN MINA! SLAY, CHAEYOUNG!” It was all too much, and Y/N found herself laughing at the thought of Mark’s throat giving out before the concert even hit the halfway point.

When it was finally Sana’s turn to introduce herself, Y/N couldn’t resist the surge of excitement that bubbled up inside her. Without thinking, she stood up and screamed, “MY WIFE!!!” at the top of her lungs. Her voice cut through the noise, and it was so loud that it even surprised herself.

As soon as the words left her mouth, Y/N froze in shock, realizing just how loudly she had shouted—louder than even Mark’s enthusiastic yells. What made it worse was that they were sitting so close to the stage that Y/N feared the TWICE members had heard her embarrassing outburst. She could already feel her face heating up, and the sudden wave of embarrassment was too much to handle.

Horrified by her own actions, Y/N quickly sank down in her seat, trying to hide behind the crowd of fans around her. Meanwhile, Mark was practically doubled over with laughter, clutching his stomach as he pointed at her. “Oh my God, Y/N! ‘My wife’?! Really? You’re louder than me!”

“Shut up!” Y/N hissed, her face burning red as she tried to bury herself in the crowd. “That didn’t happen. Nope. Never happened.”

But as she hid, Y/N noticed from the corner of her eye that some of the TWICE members had smiled in their direction after her outburst. Her embarrassment skyrocketed at the thought that they might’ve heard her. Mark, of course, found the whole thing hilarious and didn’t stop laughing for a good few minutes.

When TWICE left the stage to change outfits, Y/N finally peeked out from her hiding spot, glaring at Mark, who was still snickering. “You are so embarrassing,” she said, flipping the script on him in an attempt to salvage what little dignity she had left.

“Me?!” Mark protested, still grinning. “You’re the one out here claiming Sana as your wife in front of thousands of people!”

Y/N groaned, trying to brush it off. “I’m never going to live this down.”

The concert continued, and TWICE came back with more incredible performances, but despite the amazing show, Y/N couldn’t shake a strange feeling. It wasn’t just the lingering embarrassment from her earlier outburst; she felt as if someone was watching her.

Mark nudged her, breaking her train of thought. “Hey, Y/N,” he whispered, leaning in close. “Is it just me, or does Sana keep glancing our way?”

Y/N shot him a look. “What? You’re delusional, Mark.”

“I’m serious!” Mark insisted, pointing subtly at the stage. “She keeps looking over here. I’m not imagining things!”

Rolling her eyes, Y/N hesitated. She had been avoiding looking at Sana ever since her outburst, but maybe Mark was onto something. Summoning her courage, Y/N finally turned to glance at the stage. However, when she looked, Sana wasn’t looking their way at all. She seemed focused on the performance, completely immersed in the choreography.

Y/N sighed and shook her head. “See? You’re just imagining it.”

Mark looked skeptical but shrugged. “Maybe. But I swear, Sana was glancing over here.”

Y/N tried to laugh it off, still feeling a little awkward, but deep down, she couldn’t help but wonder if Mark might be right. Could Sana have really noticed them? Or was it just wishful thinking? Either way, Y/N tried to enjoy the rest of the concert, pushing the thought to the back of her mind.

As TWICE transitioned into the fan interaction part of the concert, the excitement in the crowd ramped up. Fans at the front, including Y/N and Mark, couldn’t contain themselves as the members moved closer to the edge of the stage, smiling and waving at everyone.

When Tzuyu approached their section, the whole crowd went wild. She leaned down to take a picture with a fan’s phone, smiling warmly. Mark practically lost it, slapping Y/N’s arm over and over, his excitement so extreme that it almost hurt. “Y/N, Y/N, Tzuyu is right there! She’s taking a selfie! Oh my God, I can’t breathe!”

Y/N, trying to contain her own excitement, pushed Mark back lightly, making him stumble. “Get it together, Mark, you're going to scare her away!” she said with a laugh, but inside, her heart was racing just as fast. They had the best seats in the house, and now TWICE was right in front of them!

Not long after, Momo made her way over, sending playful broken heart signs in their direction. Y/N and the other ONCEs quickly lifted their hands to complete the heart, while Mark gripped Y/N’s shoulder in pure disbelief.

“I’m going to collapse. I swear,” Mark gasped, his eyes wide with awe.

Before Y/N could even respond, Momo decided to show off her dancing skills right in front of them. She performed a smooth body roll while locking eyes with the fans in the front row, and the effect was immediate. Mark screamed incoherently, while Y/N felt her face heat up in response, her cheeks turning a deep shade of red.

“Momo just body-rolled in front of us, Y/N!” Mark shouted. “I’m not okay. I’m not okay!”

Y/N could only nod, her voice caught in her throat as the moment played out in front of her. But just when they thought they couldn’t take any more, Sana approached the same section, coming to stand beside Momo. The crowd roared again, but Y/N froze the second she locked eyes with Sana.

Without missing a beat, Sana copied Momo’s body roll, but with an added flair. She moved sensually, her eyes never leaving Y/N, as if the entire performance was just for her. The intensity of Sana’s gaze made Y/N’s stomach flip, her breath catching as she struggled to process what was happening. It felt like time slowed down as the two of them locked eyes, stuck in an unspoken moment.

Meanwhile, Mark, being his dramatic self, immediately fell to his knees beside Y/N, lifting his hands to the sky. “Thank you! Thank you!” he exclaimed, completely over the top. “This is the greatest day of my life!”

But Y/N couldn’t tear her eyes away from Sana, who continued to dance effortlessly. Their brief staring contest felt like it lasted a lifetime, Sana’s playful smirk making Y/N’s heart race. When Sana finally moved on, she flashed Y/N one last smile that left her speechless.

As the concert continued and eventually wound down, TWICE gathered on stage to say their final goodbyes, thanking the fans for their endless support. Y/N watched in a daze as Sana kept sneaking glances in her direction, flashing her a quick smile here and there as the girls waved goodbye to the crowd. It was subtle, but Y/N couldn’t shake the feeling that those glances were intentional.

When the concert finally ended, Y/N and Mark joined the rest of the fans heading toward the exit. Mark was bouncing with energy, his excitement still going strong as he babbled on and on about the concert. “Y/N, that was insane. I swear, I almost fainted when Momo did that body roll, and then Sana? Oh my God, Sana was insane! I can’t believe how amazing they all are in person!”

Y/N, however, remained quiet, her mind still swirling with thoughts of the concert—specifically, her interaction with Sana. Every glance, every smile… it kept replaying in her head, and she couldn’t figure out why it felt so significant. Was she imagining things? Or had there been something more in Sana’s gaze?

Noticing Y/N’s silence, Mark finally paused in his rambling and looked over at her. “Hey, Y/N, what’s up? You’ve been quiet ever since the concert ended. Something on your mind?”

Y/N shook her head, trying to push her thoughts aside. “It’s nothing, really.”

Mark raised an eyebrow but didn’t push further, too caught up in reliving the concert. “Man, that was seriously the best experience ever! I can’t believe we were that close! I mean, TWICE, right in front of us. It was perfect!”

As Mark continued to gush, Y/N nodded along, but her mind kept drifting back to Sana. She couldn’t explain it, but the interaction had left a mark on her, one she couldn’t easily brush off. She glanced back toward the concert venue, knowing it would take a while for her to fully process everything that had happened that night.
