"Defending Love Pt.2 "
Sana Short Imagines
Y/N is on her way to JYP building as she decided to visit the TWICE members especially Sana.
As she enters the building, she was greeted with warm smile from other idols and staffs who have known her. On her way, Y/N saw Chaeyoung approaching her.
Feeling the warmth of Chaeyoung's embrace, Y/N returned the hug gratefully, though a twinge of pain shot through her muscles as Chaeyoung patted her back. She tried to brush it off with a forced smile, attributing the discomfort to a rigorous workout session.
Chaeyoung, ever perceptive, furrowed her brows slightly. "Are you sure you're okay?" she asked, her voice laced with concern.
Y/N nodded quickly, not wanting to worry Chaeyoung or draw attention to the events of the previous day. "Yeah, just a bit sore from hitting the gym too hard," she replied, hoping her explanation sounded convincing enough.
Chaeyoung seemed to accept Y/N's response, though there was a lingering uncertainty in her eyes. "Well, if you need anything, just let me know," she said, offering a reassuring smile.
"Thanks, Chaeyoung," Y/N said sincerely, grateful for her friend's kindness.
As Chaeyoung informed Y/N that Sana and the other TWICE members were currently in the dance practice room, Y/N's heart skipped a beat with anticipation. She couldn't wait to see Sana again, to bask in her presence and share a moment of quiet comfort amidst the chaos of the world.
With a final nod of gratitude to Chaeyoung, Y/N made her way towards the dance practice room.
As she pushed open the door to the practice room, the sound of music and laughter washed over her, enveloping her in a wave of familiarity and warmth.
As Y/N opened the door, the girls turned their attention to the person who entered, which was Y/N. The members greeted her with warm smiles, but Nayeon, with her usual bubbly energy, couldn't contain her excitement. She dashed towards Y/N, shouting her name, and enveloped her in a tight, warm hug.
"Nayeon!" Y/N exclaimed, laughing as she returned the hug, feeling the genuine warmth radiating from her friend.
Sana, who had been sitting on the floor, watching the interaction with a fond smile, stood up and approached them. With a playful glint in her eyes, she gently nudged Nayeon. "Hey, let go, that's my girlfriend you're hugging," she teased, her tone light-hearted but possessive.
Nayeon chuckled and released Y/N, stepping back with a mischievous grin. "Oops, sorry, Sana," she replied, shooting Y/N a playful wink. "Guess I got a little carried away."
Sana looped her arm around Y/N's waist, pulling her close as she leaned in to press a kiss to her cheek. "No worries," she said, her voice soft and affectionate. "Just remember to find your own girlfriend, okay? Y/N's already taken."
Y/N blushed at Sana's words, feeling a surge of warmth in her chest at the possessive display. "Hey, I'm right here," she teased, nudging Sana playfully.
Sana grinned back, her eyes sparkling with adoration as she leaned in to nuzzle Y/N's neck. "I know," she murmured, her breath warm against Y/N's skin. "And I'm never letting you go."
Just then, as Y/N was about to reply, Sana's fingers grazed something on her face, causing her to flinch slightly. Y/N quickly tried to play it off, pretending not to notice, but Sana wasn't fooled.
"What's this?" Sana asked, her voice soft but curious, as she gently tilted Y/N's face towards her.
Y/N feigned innocence, a slight smile playing on her lips. "Hmm? What's what?" she replied, trying to evade Sana's gaze.
But Sana wasn't having it. With a gentle but firm touch, she held Y/N's face in place, her eyes searching Y/N's for answers. "Don't try to hide it from me, Y/N," she said, her voice tinged with concern. "What happened?"
As Sana asked Y/N what happened, Y/N quickly tried to brush it off with a flimsy excuse, claiming she was just playing with her dog. But Sana, ever perceptive, wasn't convinced. With a determined look in her eyes, she decided to investigate for herself.
Sana's hands roamed over Y/N's body with a firmness that made Y/N flinch involuntarily. Sensing her discomfort, Sana's expression turned serious as she demanded to know the truth.
Y/N hesitated, feeling a pang of guilt for keeping the truth from Sana. But Sana's unwavering gaze left no room for lies or excuses. With a sigh of resignation, Y/N finally confessed that she had been defending Sana from a group of people who were badmouthing her.
Sana rolled her eyes at Y/N's admission, a mixture of exasperation and appreciation flickering in her gaze. "Y/N, I appreciate what you did, but you know you didn't have to do that," she said, her tone tinged with frustration. "It's not the first time I've faced criticism, and it certainly won't be the last. It's just part of the fame, unfortunately."
Y/N shook her head stubbornly, refusing to back down. "I couldn't just stand by and let them disrespect you like that," she insisted, her voice filled with conviction.
Sana sighed, realizing she wouldn't be able to sway Y/N's determination. "Fine," she relented, her tone resigned. "But promise me you won't do it again. I don't want you getting hurt because of me."
Y/N nodded solemnly, knowing she had pushed her luck far enough. "I promise," she replied, her voice sincere.
Sana turned to her fellow TWICE members, addressing Jihyo. "Jihyo, can you excuse me for a minute? I need to treat Y/N's wounds and bruises."
Before Y/N could protest, Sana interrupted her, pinching the bruise on her arm with a smirk. "Actually, scratch that," she said sarcastically. "Looks like Y/N is just fine based on her reaction."
Y/N winced at the pinch, shooting Sana a glare. "Hey, that hurt!" she exclaimed, though there was a hint of amusement in her voice.
Sana chuckled, pulling Y/N into a gentle embrace. "Come on, let's get you patched up," she said, her tone softening with affection. "And next time, just let me handle it, okay? I don't want you getting hurt because of me."
With a nod of agreement, Y/N allowed Sana to lead her away, grateful for her unwavering love and protection. And as they disappeared into the privacy of the practice room, Y/N couldn't help but feel grateful for having someone like Sana by her side, always ready to stand up for her, even when she didn't want to admit she needed it.
