"Umbrella"

The fluorescent lights of the practice room cast a warm glow as Sana poured her heart and soul into perfecting the melody. The familiar sound of her group members bidding their goodbyes filled the room, but Sana remained, determined to polish her vocals for the upcoming performance.

Lost in the music, she hardly noticed the passage of time until she glanced at the clock and realized it was much later than she had anticipated. With a sigh, she gathered her belongings, preparing to brave the rainy night outside.

As she descended the stairs, the patter of raindrops against the pavement grew louder, echoing the rhythm of her hurried footsteps. Sana cursed inwardly, realizing she had forgotten her umbrella in her haste to practice.

Stepping out into the downpour, she lifted a hand to shield her face from the rain, feeling the cool droplets patter against her skin. Just as she resigned herself to a wet journey home, a shadow fell over her, accompanied by the sound of rustling fabric.

Startled, Sana looked up to see a woman standing before her, holding out a brightly colored umbrella with a kind smile on her lips. Sana blinked in surprise, her heart fluttering at the unexpected act of kindness.

"Here, take this," the woman said gently, her voice barely audible over the sound of the rain. "It looks like you could use it."

Sana hesitated for a moment, her mind reeling with questions, but before she could respond, the woman turned and began to walk away, disappearing into the misty night.

"Wait!" Sana called out, but the woman didn't turn back. With a mixture of gratitude and curiosity swirling inside her, Sana clutched the umbrella tightly and watched as the mysterious stranger vanished into the rainy evening.

For a moment, Sana simply stood there, the echo of her racing heart drowning out the sound of the rain. Then, with a determined smile, she tucked the umbrella under her arm and set off in pursuit of the woman who had sparked an unexpected melody in her heart.
