☆EVARA☆

I glanced at the hankerchief in my hand then at the retreating figure of Anshuman.

Gunny's gaze questioned me so I opened the fold of the fabric, there were two lips stains. My eyes widened at remembering them.

This was the same hankerchief that he gave me when we went to the cosmetic shop and I used it to wipe the shades of lipstick.

He still has it.

A wide smile immediately appeared on my face along with a pink blush on my cheeks.

I shake my head in negative and walked out of the airport followed by Gunny.

We reached back to the palace, which seemed very silence cause it was midnight. The guests must've left and others would have gone to sleep.

But suddenly we heard footsteps, we turned to meet Erica.

" So, What happened?" She asked as we took seat on the chairs of dining table while Erica brought some sweets and water for us.

" A lot happened!!" Gunny cheered which made her excited " Really, what all happened?"

" You can ask your sister." He nudged me, grinning.

" Oh-hooo, spill the tea girl."

" Later, I am famished right now." I put my head down, I hadn't had food since morning cause I was busy doing a lot of things.

" Aww, lovesick girl is tired and hungry." Gunny patted my head.

I stood up and walked to my room while tiredly uttering " Please, bring my food in the room."

"And you too have dinner before going to bed." I added pointing my index finger on Gunny.

" Thank-you so much for caring darling. Love you." I frowned at his statement.

" First of all, don't thank me and second these lovely words belong to her now, so don't you dare call me by those names anymore." I indicated Erica, who blushed, then turned back and went to my room.

After freshening up, I came out of washroom wearing a lose t-shirt and pajamas, the food was already near my bed.

I dragged myself to the bed, the same hankerchief was lying on the bed. I picked it up and marched to the cupboard and took out a silver box. Yes, the same box from back than, in which I had kept things precious to me.

My hands reached out to open the lock and my eyes caught a lipstick, making me smile, he gifted me that.

Putting the box back in the cupboard, I walked back to the bed, ate the food and fell into a deep slumber.

Next morning when I woke up it was afternoon, Erica bought me a coffee and I went out after getting ready.

To my shock Nitya was back to the palace, everyone was busy talking to her as tomorrow she'll leave for honeymoon and we'll leave back to Delhi.

Me and Erica were waiting for the elders to leave Nitya alone cause we need to talk to her in private.

So as soon as people left her we immediately pulled her in my room.

" What are you doing guys?" She chuckled at our childish behaviour.

We made her sit on the bed and sat either side of her.

" Now start, what all happened?" Erica asked and leaned in, in excitement.

" What are talking about?" Nitya acted innocent.

" We are talking about your first night, how was it? Tell na." I nudged her and deep blush appeared on her cheeks.

"Ya-Ya, How was Abhigyan?" Erica too nudged her from other side.

She looked at both of us in fake angered expression " yaah, you unmarried bitches, what do you want me to tell you, you'll know when you'll get married. "

" We know what happens on first night, we just wanted to know your personal experience." I teased her and she raised her hand to hit me but I rushed out of the room and she followed me.

In a blink of eye the day passed. Next day everyone said goodbye to the newly wedded couple for their honeymoon and packed their bags.

I wanted to stay in Rajasthan for some more time to visit more places but I have my work, it's already been weeks, I am greatful to Nitya that she called me and I get to make so many beautiful memories.

"That's perfect, now can you sit down on the chair and lean back with hair in the air, and your hands running through them." I instructed the female model in front of me.

She did what was told and I clicked some pics, before give her a thumbs up, indicating we are done for today.

I packed my things and walked out while the other workers started placing the equipments back in the room where they are usually kept.

After parking my car in parking lot I went upstairs, everything was silent. I could hear the clanking sound of my heels as I climb the stairs and my breathing.

Why was the whole building silent today?

The electricity was cut off and my mobile was already dead before I left the studio because I was working overtime and forget to put the phone on charge.

Soon I found myself in front of my apartment's door, I could barely see anything, but the other building had electricity so there was some reflection of lights.

My hands went inside my purse and fished out the keys, I unlocked the door and my eyes got dilated.

There was a red carpet made from rose petals from entrance to the living room and small diyas were kept on the either side of the red carpet.

I was amazed from the view in front of me. Removing the shoes smoothly, my feet touched the petals as I walk inside with a smile grazing my lips.

And soon small yellow fairylights lit up making the room more beautiful. Then appeared the familiar figure.

" Anshuman!!." Excitement was visible in my voice.

" Hii." He whispered.

" H..Hii, you.. here.. I mean, I thought you have been trying to avoid me." He scrunched her face at my words.

" Why would I do that". He gently asked.

" Then why didn't you called me or tried to contact me and when I did, you said you were busy and call me later but that call never came." I mumbled last line sadly, pouting to him.

He came closer to me and cupped my cheeks.

" Sorry for that, I wanted to call you but then I thought to surprise you." He said with a small smile, I just turn away my face.

He smirked and put his arm around my waist and pulled me to him and I immediately looked back at him.

" I have to tell you something important."

" What?" I asked.

" I have left the job in USA." He revealed and this time I was confused at his sentence.

" What?Why? "

" Because I think it's time for me to get married and settle down."

What does he wants to say? He wants yo get married to whom?

" Settle down? With whom?" I couldn't control my curiosity.

He left me and walked back a bit "With the girl I fell for in first sight, with the girl I had seen future, with the girl who makes my heart skips it's beats everytime I see her, with the girl who has the right to rule my dreams, with the girl who encouraged me to become the best version of me, with the girl who had been waiting for me for years."

"With you Eva...with you. I want to get married to you." He went on his knees and pulled out a box and a shining ring was placed in the box while my eyes went wide and fresh tears emerged in my eyes.

"Can you.. give me the pleasure to be called your husband and spend my life with you." He finished while my mind was still processing what he said.
