The Crystal Empire part six

Previously on the sword of Harmony:

Spike pov:

Me, Sunset, Applejack, Rainbow dash, and shining armor were out of the Crystal Empire to see if the Crystal heart was anywhere outside of the empire. "So how are we supposed to find something that we don't know what it looks like?" Rainbow asks as we were walking. "I'm assuming it's gonna be something heart shaped and is made of crystals." Sunset says as i imagined what it would look like but unfortunately, I kinda made it look delicious.

"Spike, your drooling." Shining told me as I snapped out of my daydream and I quickly wiped the drool off my face. "Sorry." I said as I rubbed the back of my head in embarrassment. "It's fine, I'm surprised you haven't tried to eat any of the buildings." He teasingly said. "Hey! I have great self control." I told him. "Is that why you brought some gems?" Aj said as she points to my bag filled with gems.

"It's important to have a full stomach when one goes on a mission away from home." I told her as I heard her giggle but I ignored her. "So where do we even start?" Rainbow asks. "That's a good question. It might not be near the Crystal Empire.... So i would have to guess. We would have to search somewhere near those mountains." Shining said as he points to the mountains. "I reckon it's better then nothing." Aj said as we began to head to the mountain.

Your pov:

"Oh Kleeeefffkiiii! Come out, come out wherever you are?" I said as i as searching through the stalls of the fair. "Heyyyy.... Are you sure you should be out of bed?" I heard Twilight asked me as I looked up to see a worried Twilight standing next to Pinkie and Fluttershy. Cadence, Trixie, and Rarity were currently setting up the fair while the four of us were searching for the Kelfki and the crystal heart in the Empire.

"I'm fine Twi." I told her. "Are you sure? You did get hit in the head by a book." Fluttershy said as Pinkie then adds. "Very hard and you are still covered in bruises and scratches." "I hear your concerns and I'm okay. Besides! Since I have been in this world. I have been KOed by a Kyurem, punched through several buildings by a Grimmsnarl, have to deal with a hangry Morpeko, and stepped on and burned by a Ultra Necrozma. Technically, I should've been dead! But all that has made me stronger and I can take on anything!!" I declared as I jumped and went to check a stall.

"Uhhhhh..... Are you feeling a bit too.... Cocky?" Twilight asked me. "Relax, I'm not gonna charge straight into danger like a stupid person. I'm not that crazy." I reassured her. "Oh thank Celestia!" She said as we moved to a locked weird round building. "So what exactly is in there?" I asked. "I'm not sure. I've checked with the architect blueprints of the Empire and these buildings aren't in any building plans." Twilight told me. "Hopefully there's nothing dangerous in there."

Fluttershy said. "I wish I can tell you that it isn't.... But without a key or the Crystal Heart. We can't risk opening it if it is." Twilight told her. "Don't worry Twi! I'm sure it's................ FINE!!" Pinkie yells very loudly which made us all jump. "Sorry, had a bit of a contraption." She told us as we looked at her closely and she looked a bit tired and less energetic then she usually is.

"Pinkie.... Maybe you should.... Lay down? Take a nice..... break." I suggested to her. "What!? I am fine! I can take on- Hey is that the Klefki?" Pinkie asks as she points behind me which was the Klefki. "Well that was easy?" Twilight said in surprise. "Ummmm.... Why is it surrounded by a.... Terrifying..... purple..... mist?" Fluttershy asked as she was starting to shiver. "Wait..... I recognize that aura....." I said as I then went wide eyed. "It's a shadow Pokémon!" I said in fear.

"A what?" Twilight asked. "A shadow Pokémon. It's when a Pokémon's heart is corrupted and.... They will not hesitate to attack with strong moves." I explained to them. "You don't think that has anything to do with the Crystal Heart being missing?" Fluttershy asked. "It's a strong possibility." Twilight said. "That  Klefki has been staring at us for a long time."

Pinkie said as we realized that the Pokémon hasn't even ran away from us yet...... which it then starts to float away. "After it!" Twilight yells as we began to chase after it.

Spike pov:

We have been walking for a few hours and we were currently at a mountain range. "Ughhh!! We've been searching for hours! And we still haven't found this Heart thing!" Rainbow yelled in frustration. "Calm down Rainbow. The Crystal Empire is huge and I doubt it would easy to find the Heart." Aj told her as Rainbow groans. "I kinda wish the empire was smaller." Sunset said.

"Look, I know some of us are tired and ready to head back. But we still have daylight to spare and if we can find any clues to where the heart is at then we can restore the crystal ponies memories and have a great time at the fair." Shining told everypony as I then noticed something in the distance. "Hey! I think I see something!" I said as I point to the direction of what I am looking at.

"I see it to. Rainbow scout over there real quick." Shining said as Rainbow salutes and flies to the thing in the distance. After a few seconds Rainbow comes flying back to us. "Over there is another locked building like the ones in the Empire but bigger and get this! It is unlocked." Rainbow told us which we couldn't believe it hat we heard. "Alright! Let's go!" Shining said as we head our way to the building.

Once we got over there we saw that what Rainbow said was true. But the one thing she left out is the giant hole on the top. "Uh Raimbow. Did you perhaps forget to mention that something had blown its way out of the building?" Aj said. "I wanted you guys to see for yourself." She said as we entered the building. "This place looks.... Boring." Rainbow said as we saw that the inside of the building was empty, minus the big hole above us.

"Yeah.... I kinda expected something.... Yeah, just something to be in here?" Aj said in confusion as I noticed that Shining and Sunset were rubbing their heads like they're in some sort of pain. "Are you okay?" I asked as I walked over to them. "Ughh... yeah.... I just have this weird headache." Shining said. "Does it feel like being hit by a large amount of magic?" Sunset asked. "Actually yeah, why do you..... Oh no." He said in worry. "What's wrong?" Aj asked as she and Rainbow walked up to us.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Cap?" Sunset asked. "Maybe. Are you thinking that this is a stasis imprisonment spell?" Shining asked. "Yeah." Sunset said. "I'm sorry. But what's a stasis imprisonment spell?" Rainbow asks. "It's supposed to be a dark magic spell that puts the trapped pony or creature in a cage where you are frozen in time." "And the only way to break it is by using the key that was conjured up." "Of course when the spell is broken the cage leaves a strong magic residue that can give unicorns a very bad headache." Shining and sunset explained to us.

"How come you didn't recognize it from before?" Aj asked. "The ones in Canterlot looked more like a metal cube and I'm guessing it's different for a place filled with buildings that look like crystals l sunset explained. "Wait? If that's the case then we should warn the others? Especially if something big just destroyed its way out of here." I asked as I pointed to the broken roof. ".....Rainbow your the fastest, get to the Empire and warn the others!" Shining ordered as Rainbow zooms out of the building as the rest of us ran out of the cage and try to run back to the empire.

Your pov:

"Get back here your rotten Keychain!!?" I yelled as we were chasing the Klefki almost all over the Empire. For some reason it would stop at some of the locked doors but it didn't try anything with them. "Uggghhhhhh!!! How does that Keychain have soo much energy!?" Twilight yells as she was still with me. Pinkie got tired, which is very surprising to see Pinkie tired, so she stopped to catch her breathe and Fluttershy stayed with her.

"I don't know Twi! But why is it even letting us go on this crazy chase?" I asked as we then entered the middle of the fair where a bunch of ponies were putting the finishing touches on the fair. "What the?" "Hey!" "Ehhhh!!" A bunch of ponies yelled as we ran all over the stalls and tents which the Klefki was going to places to try to lose us but we weren't gonna lose it! ....Even when it went.... Through.... The spa...... I rather not talk about the things that I have seen in there.

We chased it to the middle of the fair where Cadance, Trixie, and Rarity was at. The Klefki stopped at a bigger locked building that was in the center. "Alright! We got you surrounded!" I yelled as me and Twilight were trying to catch our breathes. "Are you two ok? Also, where's Fluttershy and Pinkie?" Rarity asked us. "Pinkie got tired..... and we're good..... because we caught that darn keychain!?" Twilight yells in frustration.

"Yeah!!! ..... Oh my goodness! Why did we had to catch a Pokémon that doesn't need legs!?" I groaned. "Ki." The Klefki said as it then placed a key onto the lock. "She would be worried about that? Also should we be stopping that?" Trixie asks as we then noticed that all the locked doors that was around us all began to glow once the Klefki put a key into that one locked door. "Oh that can't be good." I said in worry as the Klefki unlocks the chain which all of the other doors locks were unlocked and all the doors began to open.

The Klefki moves to the right as the main door opens and all we could see was darkness. Then all of the sudden a large orange beam fires right at us which we all just barely managed to dodge it. We then see seven orange dots that formed a H that was coming closer until we could see that it was a Regirock.

"Oh that's not good."

So Vee (from the Owl house) makes one adorable Changeling. I imagine that she would've been unwilling to attack the ponies during the Canterlot invasion so she spent that time hiding. She was probably found in a scared fetal position by one of the mane six who took pity to the scared and crying Changeling who was begging to not be killed........ I think I found a interesting story idea!

Looks like Fluttershy has found a new member to the "shy cartoon characters club."
