It's about Time

Twilight pov:

It was the middle of the night and I just couldn't sleep. Especially with what is going on. The problem was that I managed to plan my schedule for this month but I lost time for next month! This is just horrible! I've made no time in my schedule to plan my schedule for next month! "Ooooo!! Maybe if.... No.... Maybe- Errr nooo or! No that wouldn't work." I said to myself as I was looking through my schedule as I heard a yawn from the stairs. I turn to see (y/n) standing by the stairs half awake.

"Why are you up so late?" He/she asked me. "I have terrible news. It's just downright tragic!" I said in panic. "What's the news?" He/she asked me. "I forgot to plan my schedule for next month!?" "........What?" "Don't you see? There's no time in my schedule to put together another schedule! I could move my meeting with the Ponyville Hay Board to the following Tuesday, but then I have to reschedule my lunch with Pinkie Pie, and you know what a nightmare she is with scheduling. This is an absolute disaster. My whole year could be thrown off!"

I told him/her. "Just plan it today.... In the morning." He/she said. "But I don't have time!" I yelled as I went back to looking through my schedule to find a way to plan for next month. ".....Just promise me that you'll go to bed in a few minutes." I heard (y/n) say as he/she went back upstairs but I have no time to sleep until I solve this situation.

Your pov:

It was morning and I woke to see that Twilight had not gone to bed which I sighed. I gently moved Pinkie off of me and I went downstairs expecting to find a passed out Twilight. But when I went downstairs I saw that she wasn't around. "Hmmm?" I hummed imagine confusion as I went to the kitchen and other places in the library but she was not here. "She must've went outside?" I said as I walked outside to see all of Ponyville fortifying the entire town.

"What's going on?" I asked as a pony who was building a fence said. "Twilight said that her future self came from the future to warn of us of some sort of danger and we are all preparing for whatever comes!" This put me in a state of confusion. "What? How!? She's only been awake for one night?" I said in confusion as I went around trying to find Twilight. After a while I managed to find her doing a permitter check. "Twi!" I called out which catches her attention which she comes to my direction. "Oh good! Your finally here! You can help me with how to combat any dangerous Pokémon." She told me.

"Uh Huh.... Why are having all the ponies prepare for something that your "future self" told you?" I asked her. "Because she had scars, torn black suit, and had an eyepatch and she was trying to tell me something but she never gotten to and now I must prepare for the upcoming danger!" She told me. "Like what?" I asked as I then heard a howl. ".....That." She said as we ran to see a Zacian.

"It's Zacian! She's supposed to be guarding the gates of Tartarus along side Zamazenta. But if she's here then she whose helping Zamazenta with guarding the dangerous creatures in Tartarus!? Of one of those creatures comes out they could destroy Equstria!?" She yelled in panic. "Okay, so maybe we should prepare.... Also kinda cool to see a Zacian." I said as Fluttershy had managed to calm the raging Zacian and Twilight began to throw the ball for her which she then leads the Zacian back to guarding Tartarus.

Time skip

It was the next day which Twilight had not came back from leading Zacian back home and I was getting worried but luckily it ended when I saw her come inside from the front door. "Twilight!" I said as me and Spike went up to her. "So how was Tartarus?" I asked her. "It was fine and I'm happy to say that no threat from there are gonna cause havoc." She said with a smile as Spike then belches a letter which cut Twilight on the cheek. "Owww!!" She yelps as she feels her cheek and gasps. "Oh no!" Twilight said as Spike picked up the paper. "What's the big deal, it's just a 'lost dog' flyer." He said holding a flyer of  Zacian on it.

"I guess she hasn't heard that Zacian was found." I said. "It's not that, it's this!" She points to the cut. "What about it?" I asked her. "The cut's in the exact same spot as the scar on future Twilight's cheek! We haven't changed the future at all! The disaster is still coming!" She said in panic. "Well maybe it's something you can't do until happens." I told her. "No! I refuse to accept that!" She yelled.

"Come on! This is almost like what I did a few months ago and we both know how that turned out." I told her recalling the events where I kept focusing on training instead of enjoying life. "The difference between that is that I have an actual frame of time to worry about."  She told me. "So what are going to do next? Nothing?" Spike joked. "That's a great idea! I'm just not gonna move from this spot." She told us as me and Spike looked at each other. "Really? So... no matter what happens, you're not gonna move a muscle, huh?" Spike said as he went to the kitchen.

He then comes back with a tub of ice cream. "Then maybe you won't mind if I... eat an entire tub of ice cream!" He says as he begins to eat the ice cream. "Spike, stop! Think of the stomach ache!" Twilight growled through her teeth. "(Y/n).... If you don't stop him, so help me..." "ok ok. Spike please stop eating the ice cream." I told him. "Oh come on, I'm not gonna-" he then stops as he then burps letting fire out which then hits Twilight and now part of her mane was gone.

"Oh no." I said in worry. "What happened?" She asked us. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to! It was a total accident!" Spike was saying as I was trying to find the words to say. "Show me!" She yelled. "Uhhhh.... We're out of mirrors?" I said as I fled from the scene and went upstairs to hide.

Time skip

It's been a few days since the mane incident and so far Twilight hasn't come upstairs since then. I decided to check on her to see if she's ok and when I got downstairs I saw a bunch of charts and stuff and Twilight was doing math and stuff while Spike was eating another tub of ice cream and I saw Pinkie Pie enter the library. "Heyyyyy Twi, whatcha doing?" I asked her. "I learned after being hit by a flower pot. That if I can't do, not do, predict what's going to happen then I might as well monitor everything!" She said as she was put a pin on a chart.

"And how's that going?" "Well, I thought I saw something last night in the Horsehead Nebula, but after staring at it for three straight hours I realized, I was wrong!" She told me. "Three hours? But when did you sleep?" Pinkie asked her. "Oh, I didn't sleep. I haven't slept since future Twilight was here. There are only three days left until next Tuesday, I can sleep all I want after that!" She told us. "Three days? .....But Tuesday's tomorrow?" I told her as she stared at me. "What!? Pinkie did you recalibrating the apertures on the nine-and-quarter-inch catadioptric telescopes?" Twilight asked as Pinkie shrugs.

When Twilight looked she then poked her eye. "Gahhh!!" She yelled in pain. "Don't worry, Twilight, I have eye patches stashed all over Ponyville, in case of eye patch emergency. There! Now you look like a pirate! A sleepy pirate, with a really weird mane cut." Pinkie said as she gave Twilight the eye patch. "The eye patch...! Another sign! Nearly all the signs have come true! I haven't done a thing to prevent the catastrophe! If Tuesday's tomorrow, and the disaster happens by Tuesday morning, then there's only one solution. I'll just have to... stop time!" She says as I can already tell that she is not thinking clearly and that it's gonna be a long night.

Time skip

We were now sneaking through Canterlot Castle because Twilight wants to stop time...... She really needs some sleep. "Okay, the Canterlot archives are right over there. Let's move!" Twilight whispered as me, Spike, and Pinkie followed her. "Uhh... I don't think we need to sneak around, Twilight. It's not illegal to walk around Canterlot." Spike said which now I was thinking. "Wait?! He's right? Why are we sneaking?" I thought as we kept sneaking. "I dunno why we have to wear these things, either." Spike said motioning to our spy disguise.

"Tell me about? .....They don't exactly leave much to the imagination." I said as was looking at Twilight who was looking around with her back turned to us. "Come on you two. I think it's fun wearing these." Pinkie said as she was twirling around a tree. "No, there's nothing fun about this!" Twilight whispered as we were now in the castle. "Focus, guys! The only way to prevent this disaster is to stop time! Time spells are kept in the Star Swirl the Bearded wing, the most secure section of the archives. That's why we're sneaking around!" She told us as we're were going around the castle trying to find the wing.

We been going around in circles, in twist and turns and at one point we somehow gotten back outside. We have been searching for a while until finally. "There it is!" Twilight said in excitement and I could've swore that I could hear a choir singing. "Twilight, the guard!" Pinkie said as a guard was coming this way. "What do we do, what do we do?!" She panickly said as we were trying to figure out what to do until the guard saw us. "Hey, Twilight, haven't seen you in a while. Let me open that for ya." He said as he went and open the door for us.

"Thanks!" Twilight nervously said and chuckled as we entered the room. "Are you sure we have to sneak in?" I asked her as she was now going through the scrolls and then gotten hurt during the process ripping her outfit a bit. "Look! I look just like future Twilight... The last sign has come true!" She panicked as she was going through the shelves like crazy until it is morning. "It's Tuesday morning now." I told her. "What!? no! Tuesday morning, the disaster! Incoming!" She yells in panic as she dove for cover but nothing was happening.

"Uhhhh.... It sort of feels.... Like normal." I said unsure of what's supposed to happen. "Good morning, Twilight. Love the new hairstyle. Well, happy Tuesday!" Celestia said as she walked past us not even questioning on the fact that we were wearing stealth costumes and that the place is a mess. "She did not seem surprised to see us." I said. "Why isn't anypony surprised to see me sneaking around in here?! Is it possible there never was a disaster? That I've just been making myself frantic over nothing?!" Twilight was saying to herself.

"I don't get it. If future Twilight wasn't warning you about a disaster, then what was she trying to tell you?" Spike said in confusion. "They does seem like a good question. I mean, why would she go back in time if nothing was wrong?" I added as Twilight was now giggling. "I don't know. But I do know one thing. I look ridiculous." "Yeah, you kinda do." I said as me, Spike, and Twilight were laughing. "And it's all because I couldn't stop worrying and let the future handle itself! Well, not anymore. From now on, I'm gonna solve problems as they come, and stop worrying about every little thing!" Twilight says. "Probably a good idea." I said as she then yawns.

"I think I should also get some sleep." She says as Pinkie then comes up to us with a scroll. "Twilight, Twilight, I found something! It doesn't stop time, but it lets you go back in time. It says you can go back once, and it only lasts for a few moments. Does that help?" She asked her. "I think I'm beginning to understand why you went back in time." I said as she was also sporting a knowing smile.

She used the spell and for a few seconds she comes back. "waste your time... worrying... about... Ugh! I can't believe I just did that!" She says in frustration. "At least you know why you came back from time." I said with a chuckle. "But now past Twilight is gonna worry." "That's past Twilight's problem." Pinkie said as we then laughed. "Ohhh.... my stomach... I, I think it's all that ice cream... I thought the stomach ache would be future Spike's problem... but now I am future Spike. Ohh..." spike said as he was now on the ground. "I guess sometimes time can be a real pain." I said as me and Twilight laughed and soon we were on our way back home.

So I was looking at the Durant's bulbapedia page and it got me thinking. Durant is a bit weak against its natural enemy and it got me thinking. Should Durant have a evolution? I was thinking that it can have a gender based evolution line. Since the male Ant's role is to mate with the queen.... They don't get an evolution line..... sucks to be the male..... Anyway the females have a lot of roles so they should have a item based evolution line to determine what they evolve into. There should be three lines. One is based on the worker ants. The other is based on the solider ants and finally is the queen line. But the queen line should be a held item evolves the Durant into a princess evolution and then by leveling up it can evolve into a Queen evolution. It can certainly make the Durant a bit more interesting and can be used a bit more then Heatmor.

So you probably know about Wiglett ever since it was introduced. It carry's similarities to Diglett even though it is not a regional form. It is in fact a different Pokémon. The other Pokémon that are similar to old Pokémon but are different are Wugtrio, Toedscool, and Toedscruel. These are examples of Convergent evolution which an animal is similar to another animal but is completely different. It is seen in many animals in our world and I like that they put this in the Pokémon world and I hope they do this again for Scarlet and violet dlc and future regions because it is a cool thing.

I also liked the paradox Pokémon. It is interesting to see the past Pokémon and what they used to look like. Especially with Roaring Moon which similar to a mega Salamence. I have a theory that all mega Pokémon forms are just the tapped genes from their older looks which the mega stones temporarily change them to look similar to their olden day looks. Now I can't say for sure that this could be true do to the fact that it is the only primitive paradox Pokémon that has a future ancestor that can mega evolve so I can't say for sure until I see another past paradox Pokémon that can mega evolve in the future.

Also I was thinking about the paradox Pokémon and the mega evolution on how the megas are taping on their ancient genes and I was thinking about Charizard. It has two mega evolutions and if they are supposed to look similar to their past paradox Pokémon ancestors then the two looks must be a gender difference. I mean X and Y can mean male and female so they Charizard might have a paradox past Pokémon ancestors that has two forms. Of course this is just a theory like I said before.

So i was thinking about the future paradox Pokémon and I kinda had a bit of a dark theory. Basically those future Pokémon are Pokémon based on Pokémon that are probably going to be extinct in the Pokémon worlds future so people from the future must've built them based on the soon to be ancient Pokémon that we see in the present.
