The Perfect gift part one

Sorry for the delay but I kinda got caught up by watching movies on Disney plus and I just recently got into a sitcom which I left a small hint in the story. Good luck trying to figure out what it is. But anyway, enjoy the chapter.

"Attention passengers. We are now arriving into Manehatten station." I heard the conductor say as I sighed in relief that I finally made to Manehatten. I was at the city because I was here for a birthday gift for Twilight which her party is tomorrow. I was in Manehatten so a friend that I met in Cloudsdale can help me on finding the perfect gift. The train stops at the station which I got up from my seat and I walked out of the train.

I was told by my friend to look for a pony holding a sign that has my name and that pony was to take me to my friend. I looked around until I saw the sign which I walked up to the pony which began the long walk to the Manehatten Stadium. After a hour we had reached to the stadium and the pony shown me to the my friends dressing room which I was told to wait. I was waiting for a while until the door opens and orange unicorn with a guitar comes in.

"Hey! I see you made it alright." She said as we gave each other a hoof bump. "Yeah, how was the concert?" I asked her. "It was good.... It would've been awesome if the lights would've work right. Anyway enough about the concert. So you say you have a gift problem." She said. "Yeah.... I need help, because every time I get someone a gift I somehow get the wrong one..... Or get scammed." I told her.

"Well it's a good thing that you came to me." She said as grabs a pen and paper. "Now! Tell me about this pony?" She asked me. "Well she likes to read, studying, scheduling, being organized, checklists, eating cupcakes, and hanging out in her pillow igloo." I listed some of things that Twilight likes. ".......Pillow Igloo?" She said in confusion. "Yeah, Twilight likes to form a pillow igloo during times when no one is home. I know this because I accidentally stumbled upon her igloo when I came home and when I looked in she was asleep with some sort of romance book and some snacks." I told her.

"Why an igloo? Why not a pillow fort or even a blanket fort?" "I don't know? Whenever she asks she would blush and try to quickly change the subject or denies that she builds then." "So we have a secretive nerd who might have a dirty secret." Sunset said with a smirk. "Sunset!" "I'm joking, I'm joking hahaha.... But seriously, she's obviously for a interesting reason." She said with a smile. "Yeah..... but back to the gift ideas." I said. "Right, so tell me, what are her favorite books?" She asked me.

"Well I do know she likes magic, astronomy, mystery, sometimes she reads a adventure series called Daring Do.... Oh! She also very into this science fiction series called Doctor Whooves." I told her. "Really.... Well then, I happen to know that there's gonna be a Doctor Whooves movie fixing to be released and there's gonna be a contest to getting tickets the red carpet showing." She told me. "A movie? Hmmm..... It would be a great gift but..... Book movies are kinda risky, you never know if it will follow the source materials well or not and I'm sure Twilight would prefer a movie to accurate to the source material." I told her.

"True, but the red carpet showing is in Canterlot." "But she used to live there?" "Does she have family?" "She does... I'm sure she would like to visit her family and she probably also would like to visit Celestia." "Ughhh...." Sunset groaned at the name. "....Sorry. I forgot you have some sort of history..... and you don't like the mention of her name or something.....?" "We just.... Let's forgot about this. Were talking about Doctor Whooves tickets." She said.

"Alright, alright. So how do I get this ticket?" "Tickets, there's two." "Alright.... How do I get these tickets?"

Time skip

"So what kind a trivia is this?" I asked Sunset as we were sitting on a chairs at a bar called "Club Echo." "It's a Doctor Whooves Trivia contest." She told me. "But I don't know Doctor Whooves? The closest thing that I know is Doctor Who." I told her. "If it's anything like your human thing then you got a chance." "I still can't believe I told you that after one drink." I said as the contest was starting. "Hello and welcome to Trivia night here at Club Echo. Today's trivia is sponsored by the creators of the new movie called Doctor Whooves based on the popular science fiction story with the same name."

The trivia announcer said as we began to get ready to win that trivia contest. The first round went awesome. They answer questions based on the stuff that I saw from Doctor who. I was certainly getting excited of winning trivia contest and I may of gotten ahead of myself and that quickly changed when the second round began. To better understand, the first round was on the revival part of the series which I was very much a almost expert on that part of Doctor who which was being transferred well into this Doctor Whooves trivia contest.... But unfortunately, I never saw any of the classic part of the series so.....

"And it looks like the waterfire team is out." The announcer said. "Hey, hey.... So you didn't do well on the second round. You still did your best." Sunset said trying to cheer me up as I was leaning on the table with my hooves on my head. "I just wish I could've found more ways to watch the classic part of the series." I said in sadness.

Time skip

We had arrived to Sunset's hotel room. "Ughhh.... What am I going to do!!" I yelled in despair. "It's ok.... I'm sure you can find another gift soon." Sunset told me. "How! Her birthday is tomorrow and it's already seven pm!" I said. "You can always just make her a gift?" She suggested. "I've done that before and it always failed!" I told her. "Well I'm sure Twilight will understand that you couldn't get her a gift." She told me. "No! I've always been a terrible gift giver and I always get the worst gift at the last second and I have to find a gift that will knocked all the other terrible gifts to the ground!" I said.

"You are really set in stone on getting her a gift and I'm curious, what were the worst gifts that you gave to somepony?" She asked me. "Well.... there was the "Inflammable" blanket that wasn't so inflammable, then there was a poster of a series called "High Guardian Spice," then there was the time I made a plushie of a rabbit but I accidentally made it look like it was evil, I then gave Pinkie a body pillow of myself! And those were just to name a few!" I told her.

"And Nopony liked them?" "No they liked them for some reason and I'm not sure why. I mean they are just terrible gifts." I said. "Well.... Maybe they like them because you tried your best and they love that you tried?" She suggested. "That's what everyone says." I told her. "Ok, why are you really this set on getting this mare a good gift?" She asked me. "Well, she was just my first friend into this strange new world with Pokémon and she let me sleep at her new house and I kinda want to repay the favor for letting me stay and to being a great friend." I told her.

"Well.... Just give her the gift that you were originally gonna get her." She said. "But it's gonna be a week late?" "So! Even if it's late she's still gonna love it." She told me. "......I don't know." "Trust me. She will understand." She told me as I was thinking about what she was suggesting when a scroll appeared out of nowhere and landed in front of me. "What the?" I said as I picked it up and read it. ".....Oh snap! I need to go!" "Why! What's wrong?" She asked me. "The party has been moved to Canterlot because Rarity's cat is sick." I said as I began packing my bag. "So what does that have to do with going to Canterlot?" "Rarity is at Canterlot." I told her as I finished packing. "Well, I hope you figure out what your gonna do about your gift for Twilight?" She asked me. "I'll know when I get there." I told her as we said our goodbyes and I was off to Canterlot.

Timeskip

It was a nice night at Canterlot. A bit crazy I mean, Rarity was going to two parties and it ended with us going to the garden party that was being held outside where we were at Canterlot castle for Twilight's birthday party. All in all it was a good time and so far we were outside enjoying this party. I was dacing next to Twilight who was.... "Dancing" but it's her birthday so it's dancing.

"So birthday girl, enjoying your birthday?" I asked her. "It's been great and it's been so great to be in Canterlot again. Oh! I need to give you all a tour, it'll be so fun!" She said. "That would be nice..... Oh! I nearly forgot. I managed to get you a gift." I told her. "You didn't need to do that. Quite frankly, dancing with you has been fun." She said. "That's cool. But for real, my gift to you is just you and me doing whatever you want to do together." I told her.

"Really? Well.... Let me think about what sounds fun." She told me as we were dancing for a while until. "Oh! How about I give a tour of the castle." "Really! Now?" "Yep! It would be nice to show somepony the place that I lived for my time at Celestia's school for gifted unicorns." She told me. "Alright. Sounds like fun."

Time skip

"Ughhh.... What happened last night?" I asked myself as I was hit by a very bright ray of sunshine. I turned to my right as I opened my eyes to see a pineapple sitting on a table and that the table also had a picture of some unicorn with glasses. "Weird?" I said in confusion as I turned to the left and there I was now eye to eye to Twilight sparkle, who was not in her birthday outfit that Rarity gave her. We then started screaming. "Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!" So yeah. This is probably a bit confusing on how me and Twilight woke up in some place with a pineapple next to me. Well, It's kinda a crazy story.... I think.... But let me tell you the events that lead to this situation.

Just had a thought. You know how Ash is the first champion of Alola in the anime while the games it's the player and manga it was Sun. Which got me thinking. In Pokémon lore when did the idea of the Pokémon league, the champions, elite four, and gyms began? What region started it. And Who was the first ever champion of the first ever Pokémon league?

Here's a map of the Paldea region just because it looks beautiful and I can't wait to play Pokémon Scarlet. Also what that cloud part the the center. What is it hiding under there? I do know that there's a lookout building on the side of the mountains.

So a trailer pop up for mlp make your mark chapter two and wow a lot was shown and I can't wait to for it to come out.

Also if you saw the end then this was the most surprising.

Twilight made an Appearance in the trailer! I really didn't expect that! I mean, oh my gosh! I cannot wait to see this part when it comes out. I mean.... Oh my gosh! Twilight is coming back!
