Birds in the hoof

Somewhere in the frozen north

No pov:

The frozen north is a glacier filled location filled with many creatures that can survive frozen north's harsh conditions. One of these creatures are a group of penguin like Pokémon with an ice cube like head.

This Pokémon is called Eiscue. Currently there are tons of Eiscue on a glacier pad as they were building their nests. They were using a the move powder snow in a very small percent power of their attack to make the snow into a nest. Some of the eiscue chicks were playing by the edge away from the working Eiscue.

(The average Eiscue is 4'07 foot tall so a kid chick is 2'07 foot tall and a baby is 1'07 foot tall. Just thought I give you the idea on how tall they are.)

One of the Eiscue ran a bit too close to the edge and was jumping up and down as it ran which caused a chunk of ice to fall to the water, along with the Eiscue. "Scue?" It said as it looks up the glacier to see that it was going further away as the small iceberg is floating away with the Eiscue on board.

"Scue." It said as it looks around as the ice was floating away. It then shrugs and it then sits down as it waits for the it to go wash up to a shoreline.

Time skip

Somewhere near Fillydelphia

At the shoreline that a small percentage of ponies go to play in the sand as a wave flows into the mainland pushing a Eiscue, which was laying down, drifts into the beach. "Scue." It said as it got up. It then walks to away from the beach and into the open field until something quick grabs the Eiscue. In the air the Eiscue was picked up by a Starapter which it had grabbed the Eiscue's ice cube head.

The staraptor's face then turns light blue as its beak starts to chatter due to the coldness of the Eiscue's head which the Staraptor let's go of the Eiscue which it lands on a wagon filled with hay. "Scue." It said as it was laying on the hay as the wagon was moving.

Ponyville

Sugarcube corner

It was a fine morning as I was at Sugarcube corner trying to calm Twilight a bit who was looking around hoping that Celestia, who came for a visit, would approve of me and the other five. Luckily I wasn't alone. Fluttershy was sitting the other side of her. "It'll be fine Twi. There's nothing to worry about." I told her. "And she has met us before." Fluttershy said.

"And read about you in my letters. But this is the first time she's spent any real time with you. I want everypony to make a good impression." Twilight said. "Come on Twi.... These are your friends here. I'm definitely positive that they will make a great impression." I told her as I motion to Rarity. "Don't touch me! Watch the dress! Careful, you're gonna spill that on me! Oh, oh, that looks delicious. What is it? Oh, does it stain?! Keep it away from me!" She yelled as she was making sure no one would come close to her and Dia was with her making a "go away" gesture. "Spin! Spin!"

"Uhhhh.... There's.... AJ!" I said as I moved my hoof to Aj. "Uh... which is the salad and which is the appetizer again? And which am I supposed to eat first? Oh, never mind. I'm not hungry." She said as she was confused on what to eat and how which resulted in her just giving up. "Erm..... there's Pinkie?" I said as I motion to Pinkie but she was eating the food that was near Celestia.

"......There's alway Rainbow." I said I then motion to Rainbow who was trying to make one of the guards move from their motionless look, but they wouldn't move, even with the different faces she makes and other crazy attempts. "Iiiiii got nothing." I said "Oh..." Twilight said. "Maybe I should go over there and introduce myself?" Fluttershy suggested. "....Yeah, that would be.... A good idea.... Can't believe I didn't think of that." I mumbled that last part as she walks up to her.

"I hope she does well." Twilight said who was still worried. "Relax. I'm sure it'll go greaaaaaaaaaawhat.... Is.... That?" I asked as I saw a bird that rose from hiding in the cage next to Celestia.

"I believe that's Celestia's per bird, Philomena." Twilight said. "Well.... She's a bird alright." I said as I saw philomena began coughing and hacking like crazy. ".....I'm not sure what to say about that." I said as we then saw Celestia get up and says. "I'm sorry, everypony. I'm afraid I have to cut the party short. The mayor has requested an audience with me. Royal duty calls. Thank you for a wonderful time. It's been a joy getting to know you all better." She then gets up and heads to the door but not before saying. "Oh! (Y/n), do you mind walking with me?" "Uh-" "Great! Let's go!" She said before I could say anything.

"Why does she want you to go with her?!" Twilight said full of panic. "I'm sure it's fine." I said trying to calm her. "I'm sure it's just to get to know me." I told her as I walked out with Celestia waiting for me. "Let's go." She said as we were walking side by side with her two guards behind us. "Ummm..... soooo...." I said as we have been walking for a while and it has been awkward and I was hoping that she would say something.

"Isn't it nice." She said. "Uhhh.... What is?" I asked. "The ponies.... And Pokémon..." she said as she looks at a pair of ponies standing with a bidoof and then to where one pony was playing with one of the voltorb's. "Isn't it nice.... That they are living together.... In harmony." She said. "I mean.... It's only been the Voltorb's, Bidoof's, the beedrill, Spoink, (m/n), Dia, Patches, and a Machop." I said. "True... but it's a start." She said as she then sighs.

"I haven't seen ponies and Pokémon living side by side with each other for a long time." She told me. "Wait? You knew about Pokémon before?" I said in surprise. "Heh... I knew about them since the day I was born." "Wow.... But.... Why did they disappear?" I asked which she then frowns. "....Nightmare Moon." She said solemnly. "Oh.... Ummm.... Sorry." I said. "It's fine.... Luna is back..,. And she is no longer Nightmare moon and Pokémon are slowly coming back from hiding." She said with a small smile.

We then arrived to the town hall and she turns around and told the guards. "I want you to "inform" Twilight and tell her  that Philommena is "missing", I believe that she'll be at Fluttershy's house, and "look" around Ponyville for Philomena." Celestia said with air quote sounding voice on some parts. "Yes ma'am." The first guard said as the second guard who was wearing sunglasses for some reason nodded. They took off as Celestia turns to me.

"I bet your wondering on why i was air quoting on some of my words." She said. "That and when did you notice that Philomena was gone or that you didn't grab her cage on the way out?" I said. "Well, I'm sure you notice the state Philomena was in." "Whaaaaatt nooooo...." I said. "Relax, I know and that's perfectly normal for a Phoenix." She told me.

"Oh..... Ooooohhhhhh..." I said as the realization about the bird. "Yep and I saw the way Fluttershy looked when she saw her so.... I may of left Philomena by "accident" and I may of saw her take Philomena "without" my permission." She said. "And you sent the guards to Twilight?" "Because it's fun messing with her." She said with smirk. "Oh you clever mare." I said as we entered the building.

No pov:

A pony with a wagon walks by the town hall as the Eiscue pops up and looks around. It then gets up and gets off of the wagon. "Scue?" It said as it looks around and it the shrugs and walks off. "Scue." It said as it was walking around the town as ponies were watching the strange Pokémon due to the fact that it's head was an ice cube. It then sees Sugarcube corner as it saw ponies walking in and out which the Eiscue tilts its head in confusion as it heads to the building.

It enters the building where it sees a lot of ponies eating and chatting. "Scue." It said with a head tilt as it looks around until it's eyes meets Pinkie's eyes. "Hello!" She said with a smile which startled the Eiscue. "Whoops! Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you." She said as she skipped close to it. "Scue." "Wow. I have never seen a head like yours. It's like a ice cube." She said as she then gasps. "I can call you Cubie! Can I call you Cubie?" She asked the Eiscue as it answers with a shrug. "We're gonna be great friends." Pinkie said as she pulled it into a big hug. "Scue.."

Your pov

After a few minutes me and Celestia had just exit the town hall. "Well, that takes care of that." She said. "I guess so." I said as we walked off. "So, I've been wondering.... Why did you ask me to walk with you?" I asked her. "You remind me of somepony that I used to know." She told me. "Really.... That's cool. Was he or she nice?" I asked ever. "Oh they were..." she said but I thought I heard her mumbled a second sentence.

"Never mind that. Let's see how Twilight and Fluttershy are dealing with Philomena and the guards." She said as changed the topic. "Oh! Umm... alright then." I said as I saw four of my friends were hanging around next to a fountain and they were with an Eiscue for some reason. "Is that a Eiscue?" I said in confusion. "It appears so... although I have never seen one around here before. Usually they would wash up somewhere around the mainland." Celestia said as we then saw Fluttershy and Twilight chasing Philomena.

"Philomena! Please wait!" Fluttershy yelled as Philomena then crashes into the head of the Eiscue causing it to fall backwards as the ice of its head starts to crash as Philomena's last feather falls off. Then all of the sudden Philomena bursts into flames and the ice of the Eiscue shatters into thousands of pieces. "Philomena/Cubie!!!" Both Pinkie and Fluttershy yelled out at the same time as Fluttershy catches Philomena's ashes and the Eiscue, errr.... Cubie crashes to to the ground in a position that makes it look like it doesn't have a head.

No pov:

"Cubie!!!! Noooooo!!!!" Pinkie yelled as she ran to the Eiscue. "Not like this! Not after all the things we did today!"

Flashback

(Cue flashback heartwarming music)

One part was Pinkie and Cubie were meeting each other for the first time. Next was them eating ice cream together. Then it shows them playing on the swings. Then it cuts to them making a cake. Then they were frolicking in a field of flowers. Finally it ends with Cubie carrying Pinkie as it flies in the sky.

End flashback

".....Ok. Maayyyyybbeeee some of those didn't happen, but I do know that last one did." Pinkie said.

Your pov:

"Relax. It's just turned to its Noice face and your gonna have to find a freezer or something for it." I said as Celestia went to Twilight and Fluttershy about Philomena. "Huh?" Pinkie said in confusion as Cubie gets up showing it's Noice face.

"Scue?" It said as it starts feeling its face and it starts to panic. "Scue!!!" It yells as it runs off. "Wait?!" Pinkie yelled as she ran off to follow the Eiscue. I then walked to where Twilight, Fluttershy, and Celestia were at which I also saw Philomena's true appearance.

"Woah.... So that's what a phoenix looks like." I said in awe. "You knew?" Twilight asked me. "Only when Celestia told me when we left." I told her. "Soooo.... What did Celestia want?" She asked me. "She just wanted to get to know me and that I remind her of someone." I told her. "That's all?" "Yep." "Well, alright then." She said as we walked to the others.

Pinkie pov:

It was dark out and luckily I had managed to get Cubie's head back to normal and we were in bed and I was tucking him in. "It's a good thing we fixed that problem up real quick." I said. "Scue." It said as I then tucked gummy in next to me. "We are gonna be one big happy fam-" I stopped as I then went to sleep real quick.

No pov:

"Scue." It said as it looked around and it then shrugged and laid back down and went to sleep.

Just saw the Chip and Dale movie and honestly I liked it then I thought I would and it was fun to see what different series references they put in and it's just a fun ride and I'm glad that I saw it.
