Winter Wrap Up

Your POV:

I was asleep like a cat and I was having this wonderful dream of being in a Pokémon world competing in the Pokémon league and I had sent out (m/n) and she was finding to beat the champions Haxorus when all of the sudden. "Spike, (y/n), wake up. Wake up, wake up, it's Winter Wrap Up day!" "Ahhhh!!!" I yelled as I fell out of bed and onto the floor. "Huh? Mommy?"

I heard Spike say as I got up only to be greeted by a smiling Twilight. "Winter Wrap Up!" "You're not mommy." Spike said as Twilight was bouncing with joy and was lazily opening eyes. "Ugh.... What time is it?" I asked as I yawned. "Why it's the first day of spring tomorrow and everypony is going to be cleaning up winter." Twilight told me. "Ugh...! You know the sun isn't just around to just light the planet and feed the plants. It can also melt snow." I said as I was pulling the blanket back to my bed.

"In your world maybe, but here, we clean up winter." Twilight said. "Yeah, we use magic." Spike said. "In Canterlot they do, but here in Ponyville, they don't use any magic. It's traditional." Twilight explained. "Yeah, yeah.... We all got the history listen yesterday. I said as I went to get my winter clothes.

"Okay, let's see: scarf, check; saddle, check; boots, check; (y/n) in winter boots, hat, scarf, and sweater, check; (m/n)'s food in the ready so she won't get hangry while we are cleaning up winter, check; (m/n)'s spare food, check; (m/n)'s spare spare food, check; Spike refusing to get up and going back to sleep, check. It's a good thing I'm so organized, I'm ready." Twilight said as she had finished her check list as we were heading out the door. "Bright and early." She said as she opened the door to a starry night. ".....I think you might be a bit too excited for this event." I said. "Yeah...." She said as she closes the door.

Time skip

"Wow, it's very crowded today." I said as it was actually morning and me, Twilight, and Spike were out at town hall where the mayor was on a stage. I saw that dozen of ponies were wearing different colored vests. "Those must be the team vests Rarity designed. Blue for the weather team, green for the plant team, and tan for the animal team. I wonder which team vest I'll be wearing." Twilight said as she was beaming with happiness.

"I'll take a blue vest, same color as my blankie, which I think I hear calling my name. "Spike! Spike! Come to bed!" Ugh, it's too early." Spike said who was still tired. "Come on Spike, it's not that early." I said as the mayor was getting everyone's attention. "Now, all of you have your vests, and have been assigned to your teams, so let's do even better than last year, and have the quickest Winter Wrap Up ever!"

She said as everyone was cheering and Twilight was literally jumping with joy. "All right everypony, find your team leader, and let's get galloping!" She said as all the ponies went to their teams. "Oh gosh, where should I go? I'm not sure where I fit in. What exactly does everypony do?" Twilight asks. "Well, let's see what-" before I could finish my sentence all of the sudden the world went dark. "What the!?! What's going on here!?" I yelled as I was trying to find light.

No POV:

As the lights go back on (y/n) walked into Twilight. "Oh my goodness! I finally found you and light! Everything was dark and I couldn't find anyone and all I could see was dark blackness and I just heard singing!? Please tell me I wasn't the only one who notice!?" (Y/n) yelled in worry. "What are you talking about? Ah doesn't matter. We have a job to look for!" Twilight said as she walked away. "Butbutbutbut!! Ahhhh forget it!!" (Y/n) yelled as he/she ran to catch up to Twilight and Spike.

Your POV:

We see rainbow in the sky giving orders to the Pegasi. "Rainbow Dash!" Twilight called out as Rainbow notice us. "Oh, hey Twilight, (y/n), what's up?" She asked. "What are you doing?" Twilight asked her. "Sending off one of my flight crews to retrieve the birds that have flown south for the winter." Rainbow explained. "Ooh. Can i help? I-" "Uhh Twilight. I think your missing a tiny detail." I told her as Rainbow motions to her wings indicating that you need wings.

"Oh.... Right." Twilight dejectedly said. "Sorry, Twilight." Rainbow said as she flew off. "Cheer up Twilight. There's plenty of other things to do." I told her which cheered her up a bit.

Timeskip

We then saw Rarity who was building a nest.... Uh... a small nest for birds. Although now that I think about it. I wonder what a pony sized nest would be like? Anyway, we walked up to her. "Rarity, please tell me there's something, anything I can help you with." Twilight asked her. "Someone's eager." I said with a smirk. "Oh hush." Twilight said. "If your threw with your little flirt, you can help me with nest making."

Rarity said catching our attentions. "Uh.. yes! Let's do that." "Yeah! Umm, nest building." Me and Twilight said clearly we were both a bit flustered from that comment and we went to sit by the table while Rarity and Spike were both giggling. "Now then. Are you two ready to build a nest?" She asked us. "Yep!" We both said as she gave us instructions as we were building the nest. After we were done we saw that both of our nests were just downright awful.

"Uhhhh..... I think I missed a step?" I said as I looked at my nest. "Uhhh.... Yeah?" Twilight added. "Those nests needs to be condemned." Spike said. "Oh, Spa-ha-hike, it's not so bad, ah, maybe birds can use them as a..." rarity began but couldn't think of something which left Spike to say. "An outhouse?" "Spike. It's just fine. It's just a little rough around the edges. Let me lend you a hoof. Let's just untie this ribbon, and let me take out these sticks here, we'll shave this..." rarity said as she began working on Twilights nest and was just gone with the zone. "Yeah, she's gone. Let's head somewhere else." I said as we made our way to somewhere else.

We were walking to a frozen pond to where Pinkie was skating. "Hellooooooo, Twilight! ....(y/n)! Wheeeeeeee!" Pinkie greeted as we were by the pond. "Wow, Pinkie Pie, you're quite the skater. Probably the best skater I've ever seen." Twilight said. "Thanks Twilight, I've been doing this since I was an itty-bitty little-wittle Twinkie-Pinkie. Just comes natural. Which is probably why they designated me the lake scorer. I cut lines in the lakes with my skates. That way, when the rest of the weather team comes here to break the ice, it'll be easy as pie." Pinkie said as she giggled at her own joke.

"That's a clever idea." I said. "Thanks! Do you two want to help?" She asked us. "Would I?" Twilight said as Pinkie motions to some extra pair of skates which Twilight was now putting them on. "Uhhh, Twilight. Do you even know how to skate?" I asked her as she was now on the ice. "Well, noooo..... but..... I'm starting to have second thoughts." She said as Spike then said. "What are you talking about? You said you wanted to help with something." He then gives a push which was moving on a straight line and she couldn't figure out how to turn which resulted in her crashing into the snow.

"Oooo...." I said as I went to get her out of the snow. "You ok?" I asked her. "Yeah.... But why are there three of you?" She asked as she then shakes her head and was now looking at straight. "Twilight, you did a great job your first time around. I'm sure my first time was just as wobbly and bobbly and crasheriffic as yours." Pinkie said. "Really?" Twilight asked in hopefulness. "No." She said. "Ohhh..." twilight said. "Uhhh, I think you'll be super awesome at something that keeps your hooves on the ground. I know, Fluttershy could probably use your help with the critters." Pinkie suggested.

"Well.... I guess I am good with animals. I mean, I have been living with a hangry time bomb when we run out of food. So I should be great at that." Twilight said as she took off her skates and was on her way to find Fluttershy and me and Spike went after her.

After a while we managed to find Fluttershy who had just woken up a family of hedgehogs. "Awww, how cute." "Indeed." Me and Twilight said. "Aren't they? This is my favorite task the whole season, when I get to see all my little animal friends again." She said as she then wakes up some porcupines. "Oh, would you just look at all these warrens and dens? I'm worried that I won't be able to wake up every animal before spring comes." She said as she motions to all the dens that have yet to be awoken.

"We can help." Twilight suggested. "You will? Oh, that would be wonderful." She said as she gave us a bell and we went to wake up some animals. I had just woken up a family of rabbits when I heard a scream which I turned to find Twilight hugging a branch as snakes were slithering out of a nest and the next thing I know Twilight crashed into a den and a smelly aroma was made as a family of skunk's came out. "Ooooo..." I said as I knew that Twilight is probably gonna need some tomato's.

Time skip

"Ugh!! All this Winter Wrap Up stuff is a lot harder than it looks." Twilight said as me and Spike were helping her get the smell off of her. "Right, because there's no magic. Why don't you just use magic, Twilight, and get it done the right way?" Spike suggested. "No Spike, Twilight wants to do this the traditional way." I said. "Well, they never had Twilight here before, either. Think how much quicker they could wrap up winter with her magic." He said. "That may be, but I think she should not do that. I'm sure there's something that she can do without magic." I said.

"Are you two done talking about me like I'm not in the room." Twilight said. "Oh, umm.... Sorry." I said with a awkward smile. ".... Are you sure that there's actually something I can do without magic?" Twilight asked me. "Of course I do." I said as she smiled. "Thank you. I hope your right."

Timeskip

After Twilight no longer smelled like a skunk. We were now at sweet apple acres where we see Applejack leading her team. "Hey, Applejack. How's everything going?" Twilight asked her. "Oh, just dandy. A little slow startin', but peachy all the same. There's a lot of ground to clear, ya hear? We can't even start the plantin' and the waterin' until we git all these heap a' snow hightailed outta here." AJ explained.

"Well, I'd like to help." Twilight asked. "Uhhh, Twilight. I know I said you do something without magic. But I'm not sure you can push that." I said. "What? You think I don't have the strength to push that?" Twilight said as she had her eyes narrowed. "Well.... I'm just saying.... That... no, I don't think you can carry that. Especially on how much I seen you eat whenever you read." I awkwardly said. "Oooohhhh.... You did not just go there. I'll show you what I can do!" She said as she walked past me and she gave me a bumped by the side and was now on the plow.

Twilight POV:

"Ok Twilight. It's time to prove that I can push this plow!" I thought as I was trying to push the plow but it wouldn't budge. "Oh! Umm... I'm.... Just getting warmed up." I told them as I was trying my best to push this stupid plow! "Come on! Why.... Won't... you... push!!?!!" I thought as the plow would just not move. "Ugh!! Maybe (y/n) was right.... I can't push this thing. "Ugh.... Why can't I do anything? I just want to help clean up winter without magic.... Maybe Spike is right.... Maybe I should-" i was then interrupted when the plow was finally moving.

"Huh? It's moving?! Yes!!! See (y/n)! I told you I can push this!" I yelled happily as I was plowing through the field.

Your POV:

"See (y/n)! I told you I can push this!" I heard Twilight yelled out as I was quietly pushing the plow from behind. "Yeah! You certainly are!" I yelled trying to make my voice sound like it's far away.

Applejack POV:

I was watching this crazy sight of (y/n) pushing the back of the plow making Twilight believe that she was pushing it. "Is this allowed?" Spike asked me. "It's not ideal.... But the way Twilight was looking. And how (y/n) was looking as he/she was watching Twilight struggle. I think I'll allow it." I told him as I saw that they would need to turn. "Oh boy. That might be a problem." I thought as I then yelled out. "You might want to think about turning Sugarcube!"

I then saw Twilight was trying to turn right with her eyes closed and (y/n) ran to the side and kicked the plow to turned it, but he/she accidentally made the plow go spinning out of control and it crashed into the other plows and finally stopped at a snow bank which covered Twilight in snow. "Oooo.... That's gotta hurt." I said.

Twilight POV:

I popped my head out of the snow and I saw all the plows were knocked over and all the ponies were angry. I then saw where I was and that (y/n) was there which means that I wasn't the one pushing the plow. I felt tears pouring from my eyes and I didn't want to be here so I ran away ignoring (y/n), Spike, and Applejack were calling out my name.

Timeskip

I was hiding in the bushes where no pony can find me. "Twilight! There you are!" I heard (y/n) call out as I heard him/her stop running towards me. "Ponyfeathers! He/she found me! But how! I'm clearly hiding in one of the most unfindable places in Ponyville!" I thought as I heard him/her stop by me. "I know your in there because I can see your horn." He/she said which I silently cursed myself for forgetting about that.

"Go away. I don't want to talk to you." I told him/her. "Look. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you believe that you were pushing the plow but I just couldn't stand there watching you struggle! I saw you beginning to give up and.... I didn't want you to think that couldn't do anything without magic." He/she told me which I sighed. I know you mean well and I suppose I was close to doing magic, but I certainly don't appreciate you making me believe that I was pushing it." I told him/her.

"I understand and I am very sorry. Next time I will not do that.... Wait? You were fixing to do magic?" He/she said in surprise. "Errr.... Did I mention that? Hehe...." I said nervously. "Forget about it. Again, I am very sorry." He/she said. "I forgive you. But I think I just want to be here right now." I told him/her. "I understand. I'll just sit right here." He/she told me as I then heard Rainbow and Applejack arguing about melting the snow but there were many complications.

"Oh! What in Equestria are all you arguing about? This sort of silliness is why we were late for spring last year, and the year before that, and the year before that." I heard mayor mare say and I then realized. "Did she say late?" I said poking my head out of the bush. "I was hoping my amazingly inspirational speech would urge everyone to do better than last year, but now it looks like we're going to be later than ever. I mean just look at this catastrophe! The ice scorers made the ice chunks too big to melt. The nest designer is horrendously behind. We need several hundred, and she's only made one!"

The mayor said as she motions to Rarity who was still working on my terrible nest and she was crying. "And don't get me started on all the clouds in the sky, the icicles on the trees... this isn't good, not at all!" The mayor said as more and more problems were brewing. "Stop this at once. We don't have time to argue. It's almost sundown. Spring is going to be late again. Another year of scandal and shame. If only we could be more organized." Mayor mare said as I knew what to do. "(Y/n)! Get my checklist and clipboard, STAT!" "Yes Sir!" "I'm a mare!" "Yes ma'am!" He/she yelled as he/she ran.

Timeskip

Your POV:

It had been a hectic day but thanks to Twilights organization and checklists. The whole town was able to make it in time for Spring and it all thanks to Twilight who was made the "All-Team Organizer." Spike certainly got the message that spring was here since he fell into a lake when he was sleeping on a piece of ice and now he has a cold.

"There you go." Twilight said as she tucked him to bed. "So how does it feel to finally have a place in winter wrap up?" I asked her. "It feels great! I knew there was something I could do." She said with a smile as she got to her bed. "Wait? You spent all time helping me find a place you didn't find a job with cleaning up winter?" She said in realization. "Don't worry about that. I already found one." I said as I pulled out a green vest. "Applejack gave me the job with the plowing." I told her. "I guess that make sense. At least now you won't be pushing the plow with me on it this time." She teasingly told me. "Your not gonna drop that. Are you?" I said. "Nope!" She said with a giggle.

In the last chapter I told everyone my fav g5 ponies now it's time for my fav pokegirl. My fav pokegirl is a tie between Iris and Lillie.

It's the winter season and make sure to have your winter clothes around. Even though this chapter is about winter ending.

For those who live in colder areas and is cold. And if it snows make sure to have very warm clothes on and have fun in the snow just like Dawn and Iris. Even if you are shivering, but you want your friend to be happy.

That part with the pony sized nest got me thinking about that. So I went to look for something like that and I did find just that.
