Chapter 17

chapter 17

Hate

As Rick dragged Liam into the mansion, he didn't care that Liam was pregnant and struggling to keep up. He was determined to follow Martha's orders, no matter the cost.

As they entered the living room, Rick pushed Liam with all his might, sending him tumbling to the floor. Liam's belly began to ache, and he felt a wave of fear wash over him.

On the stairs, Martha stood, her eyes fixed on Liam with a malevolent glare. "Look who we have here," she sneered, her voice dripping with malice.

Liam looked up at her, his heart racing with terror. He knew that he was in grave danger, and that Martha would stop at nothing to destroy him.

As he lay there, helpless and afraid, Liam knew that he might not leave this place alive. Martha's hatred for him was palpable, and he could sense that she was determined to make him pay for being a Ger, and for being married to her son.

Liam's thoughts were racing, but he knew that he had to stay calm if he was going to survive this ordeal. He took a deep breath, trying to muster up the courage to face whatever lay ahead. But as he looked up at Martha, he couldn't shake off the feeling that he was staring into the face of pure evil.

Liam's body was battered and bruised, his face a mess of cuts and swellings. Martha's slaps had left him reeling, his lip burst and bleeding, his eyes swollen and purple. She had even cut off a lock of his hair, claiming it as a "souvenir" to keep after he was dead.

For a week, Liam had been subjected to torture and forced labor within the mansion. He was given barely enough food and water to survive, and every evening, he was whipped mercilessly on his back, legs, and hands.

Martha's cruelty knew no bounds, and she had made it clear that she intended to kill Liam as soon as she was done with him. But Richard had cautioned her to wait, pointing out that if Liam died, the babies would die too.

Martha's plan was to keep Liam alive long enough to give birth to the twins, and then kill him. But what she didn't know was that one of the babies was a Ger, just like Liam. Not that it would have made a difference to Martha - she would have killed the baby just the same, simply because of who he was.

As Liam lay in his prison, his body broken and his spirit crushed, he couldn't help but wonder if he would ever escape, or if he would be trapped forever in this living nightmare.

Martha's visit to her son Mark was a heart-wrenching scene. Mark, once a strong and confident individual, now looked like a zombie, his eyes sunken, and his face gaunt. He was completely broken, consumed by grief and despair, crying out for his beloved Liam.

Martha, on the other hand, showed no empathy or compassion for her son's suffering. Instead, she looked at him with disdain, her eyes filled with contempt. "I am the one who took Liam," she said casually, as if it was no big deal.

Mark's reaction was immediate. He sprang to his feet, his eyes blazing with anger and hatred. He wanted to attack his mother, to hurt her for what she had done to Liam. But he was restrained by Martha's bodyguard, who held him back, preventing him from carrying out his intentions.

Mark's hatred for his mother knew no bounds. He would do anything to see her punished, to make her pay for her cruelty. But for now, he was trapped, forced to obey her demands.

Martha's next words were like a dagger to Mark's heart. "To let him go, you will marry Rachel tomorrow," she said, her voice cold and calculating. Mark was horrified, but he knew he had no choice. He was trapped, and his mother held all the cards.

As Martha walked away, she left behind a phone with a series of terrifying videos and photos. Mark's heart sank as he scrolled through them, his eyes widening in horror. The videos showed Liam being beaten, his legs and hands spread wide, his face swollen and bruised. The photos were even more disturbing, showing Liam's bald head, his face covered in cuts and bruises.

Mark felt like he was going to throw up. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. His mother was a monster, and he was trapped in her web of evil. He knew he had to find a way to escape, to rescue Liam and bring his mother to justice. But for now, he was trapped, forced to play along with his mother's twisted game.
