𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏

It was already Monday, and somehow today I'm not looking forward to school. I lazily get up and out of bed as I make my way to the bathroom.

Looking at my reflection, my hair is a mess, most of my make up is smudged - I fell asleep with my make up on again, which means I'll probably start to break out.

I sigh before taking out some make up wipes and wipe my face. The wipe taking off all the makeup. Today I had decided to not wear any makeup, as my face probably needs a break.

I do apply a little more mascara though. My freckles show more, My make up usually covers them but I didn't mind. I didn't really like them anyway.

I wasn't exactly skinny either, I did have some belly fat. Neither a button nose, I didn't have a thigh gap as my thunder thighs viscously ruined that for me.

But I have a love hate relationship with my body. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I don't.

I throw on a red zip up hoodie and some grey sweatpants. Grabbing my bag I start to head downstairs.

"Hello" I greet my family, grabbing an apple but soon placing it down. I wasn't really hungry anyway.

"Let's go to school" Dylan drags us out of the house and into the car. I rest my head on Levi's shoulder, slightly tired.

I should have went to bed early last night.

"Here we are, I'll see you all at lunch" Dylan leaves as we all exited the car. I wave goodbye before walking into first period.

but before I know it it's already lunch time. I smile and head to lunch. I see three familiar heads as I go up to a certain someone and pull their hood off as their messy hair is revealed.

"Are you depressed or what, Chase" I chuckle taking a seat next to Jayden. "I'm not depressed, fuck off." He grumbled.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed" I remark. "I did not." He groaned obviously not wanting to deal with me.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night" I grab my phone and head on it before the one voice that I hate most yells across the cafeteria.

"Chasey boo!" Of course is was Samantha. She has always had a thing for chase ever since we started high school, she hated me for no reason.

One time I was sitting next to Chase because everyone else took up all the seats at the table and she literally shoved me off.

She's just so annoying!

"Oh my fucking god" He cursed under his breath. "Leave me the fuck alone Samantha." He said to her when she walked up.

"Why Chasey is everything okay?" She batted her eyelashes. "Everything was fine until you came here" He put his head on the table.

"You mean when she came here?" She looked my up and down in disgust. "No he meant when you came here" I do the same thing to her.

"And how could you be so certain?" She snarled at me. "Because nobody here likes you, Samantha" I put my head on the table resting on my arms, way to tired to deal with her.

"Ugh, whatever! Chasey, come to me when you need to relieve stress, if you know what I mean" She winked.

"God she is so annoying" I heard Levi say. Honestly I was to tired to lift my head up so I just kept it down.

"Who's depressed now" I heard chases chuckle. "I'm not depressed, just tired" I mumbled picking up my head.

"Alright well I'm going to head to the bathroom." He got up grabbing his bag. "Like I needed to know that" I roll my eyes sarcastically.

He just smirks at me and leaves.

Levi's started talking to me about how Chases birthday was in a couple of weeks and that he was throwing a party at his house.

"Sooo do you wanna go" Levi asked me. "Why would I go to his party?" I groan. "Because he's your favorite person everrr" He wiggled his eyebrows.

"He is not."

A few minutes later, Jayden starts unexpectedly chuckling at something. "What are you laughing a-

I shut my mouth when I feel a cold liquid dumped on me.

I turn to see Chase holding a bottle of water above my head. He grins before darting out of the Cafeteria.

I get up and Immediately start chasing him.

"CHASE LEE HARTZ GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!" I scream at him earning looks from some students.

Once he slows down I get up behind him smacking his head as hard as I could. "Ow" He rubbed the spot I just hit, "Asshole you got my clothes all wet" I complain.

"Don't act as if I don't make you wet daily" He winked at me. "What do you mea- Ew Chase! Your such a pervert" I shove him.

"Don't lie" He smirked pinning me against the wall. "If I were to go into your panties right now, you wouldn't be wet?" He hummed.

"No, the only thing you can turn on is a dog." I scoff.

"Then how come you still haven't moved me away from you" He smirked. "My god your so annoying" I push him away from me.

"You know you love me, sunshine" He said. "You're just so full of yourself, what makes you think I 'love you'" I air quote.

"Because you've put up with me for more than 10 years." He said before a teacher came around the corner.

"What are you two doing upstairs? It's lunch time you shouldn't be up here" She crossed her arms over her chest, looking for an answer.

We just give her a slight shoulder shrug. "You know the rules about making out with guys in school, Daniella" The teacher scolded me.

"No that's not- I- We weren't- I try to get the word out but it just doesn't work. "Mhm" She moves her classes up with her pointer finger.

"I was your age once, don't lie to me, both of you detention tomorrow" She writes something on her clipboard.

She walks away.

"Ugh look what you did!" Chase groaned. "No that was all you! You decided to dump water on me!" I walk away from him.

He runs to catch up to me. "So you were basically asking for it" He looked at me with narrow eyes. "How was I asking for it? Please Chase explain how I was asking for it?" I look at him for an answer.

"Because... you just were" He shrugged. "Exactly you can't give me an answer" I proved "No I have an answer I just don't want to tell you" He said confidently.

"Oh you just don't want to tell me" I say I'm a sarcastic tone. "Yeah I don't want to tell you" He said teasingly. "Yeah I just don't want to tell you" I mocked him in a deep voice.

"That's not how I sound like." He scoffed. "Sorry I can't just you know magically switch to have your voice" I roll my eyes walking away.

"Well if your going to mock me at least make it sound somewhat similar" He said with a short chuckle.

"Yeah yeah whatever" I head to the girls locker room. "See you later, sunshine!" He yelled. "Stop calling me that!" I yelled back.

I quickly changed into a different pair of sweats, and a black hoodie that I stole from Luke.

I put my wet clothes into a bag and leave it in my locker. I walk out of the locker rooms heading back to the cafeteria.

"Have fun, sis?" Levi asked me playfully. "Yeah sooo much fun" I glare at him. "Is that my hoodie?" Luke asked from beside me.

"No, uhh it's mine." I avoid eye contact with him. "Yeah totally" He rolled his eyes taking a bite out of his Apple.

I want an apple.

I just watched Megan is missing and that shit traumatized the fuck out of me that I had to sleep with my door open last night😭.
