Chapter 26: I'll Miss You.

Kayden fucking Black is my girlfriend.

Holy shit.

Can somebody slap me?

I'm spending way too much time with her.

"Ollie, I gotta go." Kayden tried to pull away, but due to my iron hold on her, she can barely move.

"No," I mutter and snuggle deeper into her neck.

"Come on," she laughs, "you have to let me go sooner or later."

"I prefer the option of never." I hug her tighter to me.

"Too bad that option doesn't exist, my mom needs her car Ollie, I gotta go." She pulled away and looked down at me, the only reason why she is looking down at me is because she is laying on top of me.

"Like, you absolutely one hundred percent need to leave?" I ask.

"Yes," she nods.

"Can I come with you?"

"No," she laughs, "you have an eight am class tomorrow, but I am offering a suggestion." She says.

"Go on," I encouraged.

"You have a game on next Sunday, how about I come here for that weekend?" She suggests, I love that she remembers my game schedule.

I nod vigorously.

"Okay so we have a deal," she laughs.

I love her laugh, she always says that she has a hyena laugh, but I beg to differ, her laugh resembles an angel more than a cruel animal.

"We do, do you want to spit on it?" I sarcastically ask.

But here is the thing, you should never underestimate Kayden Black. Because she actually brought her hand up to her mouth and before she could actually spit on it I had to grab her hand.

"What?" She laughs at my disgusted face, "you said to spit on it."

"I didn't mean it literally." I exclaimed.

"You exchanged spit with me like five times in the last ten minutes, dude." She deadpanned.

"That's different," I muttered.

"How-"

"Holy, don't I always say to leave space for Jesus?" Noah's voice screeched, then I felt Kayden being lifted up from me.

"Dude," I got up.

"Don't dude me, I don't want my little sister all over my best friend," he always had a protective streak over Kayden, "and you cannot, and I mean it trouble, cannot, sleep here tonight." Noah directed his angry face towards Kayden now.

"Calm your tits bro, I wasn't planning to, mom needs her car." Kayden grabbed her shoes and put them on.

"Wait, you're leaving?" And regular Noah is back.

"Yup, I have to go now, where're the others?" Kayden asked and inched closer to me, making me immediately wrap my arms around her shoulders and gently push her to me, so her back is to my front.

"Blake and Izzy are on a walk and Soph is in bed already, she has a test tomorrow, we all thought you were going to stay the night." Noah explains.

"Welp, i have to go so, I'll see you guys soon." Kayden tried to walk away but I pushed her into me again.

"I'm walking you to your car," I stated.

"I don't want to get a heart attack while I watch you two kiss or something so, goodnight trouble, I love you." Noah took Kayden from me and hugged her tight, he's such a hugger.

"I love you more." She whispered.

"Bye," she said as she grabbed my hand and pulled me out.

"I'll miss you." I stated as we reached her car.

"I'll miss you too." She wrapped her hands around my waist and hugged me tight. I hugged her to me even tighter.

"I love you," I muttered as I kissed her head.

"I love you." She pulled away. Kayden never liked saying 'I love you too' because she feels like it downgrades the meaning of those three powerful words.

"I'll see you soon," I crouched down and placed my lips onto her's, she immediately responded by wrapping her arms around my neck.

I straightened up so that I was hugging Kayden's waist and she was in the air.

"I love you so much." I whispered against her lips, meaning every word.

"I love you more," she whispered back, "and don't you even dare argue, because the way I love you is so deep, I think it's deeper than all oceans combined." She declared.

Not possible, but I know her stubborn self won't accept me saying otherwise.

"Sure, Smalls, sure." I nodded.

"Now I really have to leave," Kayden smiled sadly.

"Are you sure?" I ask one last time, "it's pretty late, it can be dangerous."

"No, I'm fine, it'll be alright." She kissed my lips again, then I placed her down and opened her door for her.

"Drive safe alright? And text me when you get home, please." I don't know what I would do if anything ever happens to her.

"Sure will, Oliver." She smiles.

"Good, Kayden." I smile right back at her.

"Bye Ollie, I love you." She got into her car and drove away.

"Bye Smalls, I love you more." I whispered after her.

"Oliver," a voice called and started shaking me, "Oliver wake up." That voice I recognize as Sophia.

"What?" I opened my eyes and sat up a little, but when I saw Sophia's tear streaked cheeks and red rimmed eyes, I sat up completely, "What happened?" Concern flashes throughout my whole body.

I scan Sophia for any injuries, only to come up with none.

"What is it?" I urged, Sophia doesn't cry, so whatever happened must be extremely serious.

Please don't let it be Kayden.

"It's Kayden," Sophia croaked out, "there was an accident."
