Chapter 1032
Arielle Moore and Vinson Nightshire
Chapter 1032 Superstar âYes, Iâve stored them properly,â Sasha replied.
âAll right, letâs go.â
Nodding, Sasha got back into the car.
âWhy are you going to Maureenâs Kitchen now, Ms. Moore? Shouldnât you head back to get that program code done first?â she asked curiously.
Arielle shook her head. âDonât worry, I can make it in time.â
She had given herself a timeframe of one day, but she didnât actually need that long to complete the task.
Sasha stopped worrying about it when she saw how calm Arielle was and drove over to Maureenâs Kitchen.
As it was still a little early for dinner when they arrived, only a single table was occupied by customers at the time.
Arielle heard one of them proudly introducing the restaurant when she came in through the door. âThis is the restaurant I was telling you about! It has got the most delicious food I have ever tasted in my entire life! You guys will know Iâm telling the truth when they serve up the food later!â
The other customer didnât seem all that convinced. âAre you sure? This place doesnât seem very well renovated.â
âWhatâs the point of spending so much money on renovation? You see that restaurant across the street named Mons Oceanum? I heard they spent over a million on renovations! I went there once when they first opened for business, and it was horrible! The food was expensive but tasted awful as hell! This place, on the other hand, has good food at reasonable prices!â
âEven if it really is as amazing as you described, isnât it a little too early coming here at four for dinner?â
âYou donât know this because itâs your first time here, but the queue for this place can go all the way to the other side of the street! Thatâs why we have to come earlier and get ourselves a table in advance!â
Thatâs it, Iâm going to speed up the process of setting up branches! Arielle thought to herself after hearing what the customer said.
At that moment, the customer who brought his friends over suddenly glanced in her direction and exclaimed in shock, âWait, isnât thatâ¦â
Arielle quickly ran into the kitchen before they could get a clear look at her face.
âWhatâs wrong?â his friend asked.
The guy shook his head. âNothing. I just thought I saw a superstar or something, but I mustâve been mistaken. I mean, what would a superstar be doing in a restaurantâs kitchen, right?â
âYeah, that has got to be the case. Thereâs no way a superstar would come to an old restaurant like this! Heck, even the air-conditioners have turned yellowish.â
Just like that, the two began arguing all over again.
On the other side, Arielle saw the manager learning a dish from the chef the moment she stepped into the kitchen.
âLike this?â
âNo, youâve got it all wrong!â The chef, who was almost in his fifties, smacked the managerâs hand aside with a spatula in disdain. âYou canât even add oil to a freaking pan! I think you should go back to serving customers outside!â
The manager scratched his head awkwardly.
âI was feeling a little boredâ¦â
Arielle began eyeing the chef from head to toe, as it was her first time seeing him.
He had a naturally authoritative look with his bald head, thick eyebrows, and chubby body.
âIf youâre that free, then help me wipe the grease off the top!â ordered the chef while pointing at some stoves that were not currently in use.
The manager was about to say something in protest when he noticed Arielle standing by the kitchen door.
His eyes lit up instantly, and he quickly went over to greet her.
âMs. Moore!â
He had been losing a lot of hair a while back, as the restaurant was not doing really well. However, business had been booming ever since Arielle taught him to advertise the restaurant using mobile applications. As such, he regarded her as a hero who could help cure his severe hair loss and was thrilled to see her.
Arielle nodded and glanced at the chef. âIs he the chef?â she asked.
