C H A P T E R 4

Lily's POV

Today was a Saturday and I woke up to notifications coming into my phone nonstop. I looked at the clock on my wall and it was eleven in the morning so I decided it was time for me to get up. I got up and took a shower and put on an oversized hoodie with biker shorts and a pair of adidas socks because I wasn't planning on going out today.

I took a seat on my bed and unlocked my phone and now I knew why the notifications had been flooding into my phone. Adonis and I were on almost every gossip website and magazine with articles speculating about our relationship. I had missed calls from Jane. I messaged Jane and asked her what was up.

I looked around my room and decided that I should clean up my apartment. I had a housekeeper that came three times a week but I loved cleaning it gave me a great sense of just relief when I was done. I pulled my hair back into a ponytail and got to cleaning, I changed my bedding and got a load of laundry running. By the time it was three o'clock I had done an extensive cleaning of my apartment. I had even packed my refrigerator and I had neatened my closet because most of the stuff was already in very good order thanks to the housekeeper and the fact that I could be a clean freak.

I had a huge balcony that had a swing seat and I decided I was going to read there. I went and sat on the swing seat and continued reading my new book. I don't know how long I had been sitting on the balcony but I looked up amd saw that the sun was about to set so I decided to go and get a glass of lemonade to watch the sunset.

I got my glass of lemonade and watched the sun setting and my phone started ringing. I looked at it and saw it was Jane and it kind of makes sense, she would call whilst I was watching something so beautiful. I answered and Jane said ,'Hey bubs, I see you and the new boyfriend are just conquering the gossip columns.'

I rolled my eyes at her comment and said ,'Can you believe the obsession though?'

She hummed and said ,'Yes I can, you're an internationally recognised model and you are dating Forbes hottest billionaire CEO for the past three years.'

I laughed at that and said ,'Is he really?"

She groaned and said ,'I swear you live in your own tiny bubble. Yes he is and he deserves it too, I mean have you seen the man.'

I started smiling because he was definitely hot but I didn't he had gotten that title for three years straight.

Jane then said ,'Do you want to go out today?'

I smiled because I could definitely go for a night of fun I sat up straighter and said ,'What are you thinking?'

She hummed and said ,'We can go for clubbing.'

I was about to reply then I realised that Adonis probably had a very professional image and if I looked like a crazy clubbing mess he might not like that. I decided I would ask him ,'Jane , let me ask Adonis and I'll get back to you.'

Jane then said ,'Well of course you need to ask him first.'

Jane really wanted Adonis and I to be a thing in her heart and I mean it was going to happen because we agreed but she wanted us to be like a thing thing.

I stood up walking into my apartment and put my glass in the dishwasher and said,'Okay let me text him then I'll text you.'

I opened Adonis's contact and I texted him.

Me:

Hey

Adonis:

Hey, what's going on?

Me:

I wanted to go clubbing with some friends tonight and I don't know if like that's okay for your image and all.

Adonis:

Yeah you can go, I'll come with and maybe bring a few friends.

Me:

I mean you don't have to come if you don't want to.

Adonis:

Rose it's a club, I'll be there to pick you up let's say nine tonight.

Me:

Okay I'll bring friends too

Adonis:

You aren't like a difficult drunk right?

Me:

Well........

Adonis:

Are you serious?

Me:

I'm not like bad bad

Adonis:

It's going to be a looooong night

Me:

I'm not bad

Adonis:

Okaaaaaay

Me:

How about me, am I meeting some exes there

Adonis:

I highly doubt

Me:

But I still need to look amazing because a little birdie told me you're the sexiest youngest billionaire that means the girls should just flock at your sight.

Adonis:

That part may be true

Me:

Gosh the arrogance.

Adonis:

You brought it up and I'm honest. So I'll see you later.

Me:

Yeah

Adonis:

Cool

After my conversation I texted the group chat with my friends and told them that Adonis was coming and bringing friends.

The group chat had our group of friends there was obviously Ben and Jane but the group had other people. Liam and Luke were twins who we met whilst at University at Stanford Luke was a lawyer and Liam was an engineer. There was Nicole who I met whilst doing a modelling job and for some reason we had clicked and she clicked with everyone but Emily weirdly enough. After I told the guys about the cheating scenario Nicole was very happy to be the one to remove Emily from the group chat and she did.

At 7 I decided to start getting ready and took a shower and looked for something to wear. I put my outfit which was a sparkly pink two piece on my bed. I split my dirty blonde hair down the middle then tucked the hair behind my ears and for my makeup I put on some mascara and eyeliner then put a sparkly lipgloss and that was about it.

I packed my lipgloss, some money and my phone into the little purse I was taking with me. Tonight, I wanted to have a fun night with my friends and just vibe. One thing was certain though,  Adonis was going to see a different side to me.

I heard my doorbell ring and I walked to the door and opened it. Adonis stood with a black leather jacket, black short sleeved tshirt, black ripped jeans and white sneakers. I think Adonis is hot in formal wear but this is something I think might be my favorite so far.  He qualified as sexy right,  he looked like a bad boy.

I smiled and said ,'Hey handsome.'

I locked my door and turned around acting super casual. I had called Adonis handsome when we were kids it was just my thing, I thought since he insisted on calling me Rose I had to come up with something too and that's what I had come up with.

We got into his car and he drove to the club. We got there and he have his keys to the valet and opened the door for me and I stepped out. The club we were at was very exclusive and it had upper class people so there was never really any bothering of anyone. We walked in and he led me to the VIP Area where I saw three very hot guys talking to Jane and Nicole. I hadn't seen Luke, Liam and Ben but the assumption was they were already looking for girls.

One of the hot guys got up and said ,'Adonis, what's up man.' They did a handshake and the guy turned to me and said ,'And you are Lily Rose, a model.'

I smiled and went for a handshake but he hugged me then said ,'Wow, look at you and I thought you were hot before.'

Adonis pulled me back into his chest and said ,'Okay that's enough, Rose this is Zach and those two sitting over there are Xavier and Connor.'

I smiled and gave these small waves and said ,'Well this is Nicole and you know Jane, I don't know where the guys are.'

As soon as I said that I saw Ben coming up the stairs with a glass of water. I turned to look at Adonis and said ,'There's Ben.'

He went and they did the bro handshake and I turned to the girls and we all shouted shots, which made all the guys look at us and we gave them sheepish looks. I put my bag on the table and we started going towards the bar. I knew our stuff was safe because it was a private area so no one would be really going in there.

We got to the bar and Jane asked the bartender for nine tequila shots. I turned to Jane and Nicole and said ,'So like how hot are those boys?'

We started laughing and Nicole said ,'I really like Connor's vibe. He's so chill, the type I go for.'

I actually liked the idea of Connor and Nicole together. I raised my eyebrows at her and she started blushing. 'Go for it, like tonight just hang with him.'

She looked apprehensive and Jane said ,'You better go for his fine ass before one of the girls in here goes for him.' Jane then turned to me amd said ,'And you missy, with that boyfriend of yours, I better see progress.'

I saw the look on Nicole's face and I knew she was going to go at Jane. Nicole folded her arms across her chest and said ,'You're one to be talking, we've been waiting on you and Ben for years and I think Lily agrees when I say the wait is getting tiring so you out of all us needs the most progress.'

Jane's looked shocked and turned to me and I had also folded my arms. I don't think Jane knew that Nicole and I knew that she had a big thing for Ben but Nicole was right they had to start dating already. The bartender brought out shots and we took three each.

Nicole turned to look at both of us and said ,'We have our missions, let's get to it.'

The girls started heading back to the section where the boys were and I looked at the bar tender and asked for a Strawberry Sunrise. I sat at the bar tapping my fingers to Drake who was playing right now and I felt a guy sit next to me. I looked at him and he was cute, not unfuckable but my type was Adonis or Damien like dangerous looking boys and he was more the boy next door. He smiled at me and said ,'Hey, I'm Noah.'

I smiled back at him and said ,'Hi Noah, I'm Lily Rose.'

He chuckled and said ,'I know who you are, you're the model right.'

I nodded and the bartender gave me my drink. I took a sip for the straw and looked at Noah and said ,'It was nice meeting you Noah.'

I started standing up and he said ,'So I can't get your number.'

I smiled and stood walking away back to the section where my friends were. I was dancing a but while walking and I could feel myself getting looser meaning the alcohol was kicking in.

I got to the section and saw Adonis sitting on a couch alone and went and plopped myself next to him and sighed. I looked at his glass and saw he was drinking water. I frowned and said ,'You're drinking water?'

He nodded and said ,'Yeah I'm your designated driver.'

I grinned and said ,'Oh my word really, thanks but how am I supposed to get to know you with your cold demeanour on. I mean I might have been in your head when we were kids but I kind of lost touch.'

I saw his mouth twitch a little and he said ,'You think I have a cold demeanour?'

I nodded and said ,'Yeah definitely, I mean you're hot and all with your straight face but I like love your smile. It always made my day when we were kids.'

I heard him say huh and I took a sip of my drink and thought to myself yup definitely tipsy now.
