C H A P T E R 22

Lily's POV

We had just landed in Los Angeles and Bernard was here to pick us up from the tarmac. We were now on our way home and I was tired. It was almost as if Jenny had sensed that I had landed in Los Angeles and there were so many jobs being added to my timetable.

We arrived home and I jumped out of the car. Adonis was already on calls about work so I was quiet making sure I didn't disturb him. I was walking to the door with my handbag because Bernard had absolutely refused that I carried any bags.

I walked into the house and Anneliese was standing there with a wide grin on her face. I paused then went and hugged her and said ,'Hey Anneliese.'

I pulled away and before I could speak Adonis said ,'Anneliese what are you doing?'

She rolled her eyes and said ,'Hi big brother how are you?'

Adonis gave her a look and said ,'What are you doing here?'

Anneliese gave a hit weary and said ,'I'm here to visit.'

I was quietly watching the interaction between the two of them. I actually hadn't seen them interacting because at the wedding they did not interact.

Adonis said ,'Anneliese what are you doing here?'

Anneliese groaned and said ,'I was hoping I could stay with you guys.'

Adonis scrunched his eyebrows and said ,'Why?'

I punched his shoulder and said ,'Of course you can Anneliese.'

Adonis put his arm around my shoulder and said ,'No. Why does she want to stay here?'

I narrowed my eyes at him because of how rude he was being right now. Anneliese sighed and said ,'Mum and dad are going on like a two month vacation in Africa.'

I smiled at Anneliese and I said ,'Of course you can stay here Anne, don't listen to Adonis.'

Adonis groaned and said ,'She normally stays at the house alone, what's does she want to stay here all of a sudden.'

I hissed and said ,'Adonis, you need to stop being rude.'

He grumbled and said ,'Fine.'

Anneliese smiled and said ,'Great I've been here for like three days already.'

Adonis looked unentertained and Anneliese walked away. Adonis turned me to face him and said ,'I was looking forward to fucking you in every single place in this house and now we have to babysit.'

I rolled my eyes and said ,'She is a teenager Adonis, she probably won't be here half the time.'

He pouted and I added ,'You can't fuck me everywhere Adonis, that is not classy.'

I could see Adonis's eyes darkening with lust and I knew what was about to happen. I tried to move away and Adonis gave me a smile and said ,'Oh no you don't, love.'

He pulled me into the coat closet in the foyer and I said ,'Adonis, this is not classy.'

He gave me a smirk and said ,'I wouldn't describe our sex as classy but more animal like or maybe you forgot. '

I pressed my thighs together because of the pleasure I just felt because of his description of our sex. I looked up into his eyes and they had darkened even further in lust. I put my hands around his neck and I said ,'Maybe you should remind me exactly how animal like our sex really is. '

I bit my lip amd he lifted me up just as our lips were about connect I heard Anneliese calling Adonis. He groaned and said ,'Oh fuck no.'

I giggled and said ,'You have to go to her.'

He shook his head no and said ,'No I want to do you right now.'

I smiled shyly and said ,'Go Adonis.'

She called for me this time and I realised Adonis wasn't going to move away first. I opened the coat closet door and said ,'See Adonis I told you it wasn't in there.'

Adonis grunted and walked out after me. I gave Anneliese a smile and walked towards her. She gave me a smile and said ,'Can I have my friends over for a movie tonight?'

Adonis groaned and said ,'Anneliese we just got back and you already want to have people over?'

Anneliese pouted and said ,'Pretty please Adonis we will be as quiet as possible.'

Adonis was having an internal debate with himself and gave in and said ,'Fine you can but that's only if Rose is okay with it.'

Anneliese turned her pout towards me and said ,'Can we please Lily?'

I shrugged and said ,'Sure but make sure you don't make noise for this guy who is always working.'

Adonis grumbled out ,'I said I'll be better.'

I turned to Adonis and gave him a peck and said ,'I know baby, I know.'

Anneliese awed and said ,'Wow you guys are absolutely completely adorable.'

I sunk into his side and hugged him and gave Anneliese a grin. She made a face and  said ,'Uhm gross, Adonis is grinning.'

I chuckled and we watched Anneliese walk away. Adonis sighed and said ,'We are basically parents for the next two months.'

I smiled and said ,'Well let's call it a test.'

Adonis chuckled and said ,'Let me fill you in about Anneliese. Anneliese does not drive so don't let her try tell you otherwise. One of us will have to drive her or one of our drivers. She's at Richards Private School so yeah I think that's about it.'

I hummed and he said ,'Let's go get some rest okay?'

We went upstairs and I took a three hour nap. I woke up and Adonis was sitting up in the bed doing what I assume is work on his laptop, did I mention he is shirtless. I got up and Adonis looked up from his laptop and smiled at me and said ,'Well if it isn't sleeping beauty.'

I rolled my eyes and got out of bed to wash my face. I washed my face and moisturized, I picked up my phone and saw a missed call from Kendall it was now nine and he had called at around seven. I started walking down the stairs and called Kendall back. I walked into the kitchen and saw a bunch of teenagers in the kitchen looking around for food and putting it in bowls.

Anneliese saw me and I smiled, I had forgotten they were coming and I was still in my sleepy haze. I took some Snapple from the fridge, Adonis and I were out of Snapple in the fridge in our room. I went back upstairs and I was still trying to call Kendall back but he wasn't picking up.

I got into the room and Adonis looked at me from over his glasses which he looked very attractive wearing. He just looks so sophisticated and sexy and I was into it. He took off his glasses and said ,'You went downstairs to a bunch of teenage girls and teenage boys with all that leg out. '

I playfully rolled my eyes and said ,'They did not notice me, they are in their own world.'

He nodded and said ,'Okay fine, I'll take your word for it but if I was a teenage boy and I saw a supermodel walking around I would lose my shit.'

I rolled my eyes and sat on the window seat and started looking through my pictures from Cancun. I wanted to post pictures but I wanted to post one with Adonis and I too, there was one of us before we went out to get McDonalds that one night. There was another one of us when we went shopping and one from the day we had pizza. I was stuck on a decision and Adonis came and sat with me on the seat but still doing his work. I didn't have work because I had about one more week of nothing to do and tomorrow Adonis and I had the meeting.

I could already see all the likes coming in as soon as I posted it. I had tagged Adonis too with all the articles and gossip sites we were public anyway. One of the daytime talk shows had been talking about Nicole and I dating Adonis and Connor. People had found out about Connor being a billionaire as well and it seemed like it had become a discussion that we were dating billionaires. On the daytime show clip that Nicole sent to me the ladies on it were talking about where to find men like these, one of them spoke about how wealthy people hang out with wealthy people and so because of our families billions we had a network of good choices around us. Nicole and I had literally been making fun of that because we had been through a lot when it came to love. Nicole was going on the talkshow tomorrow and she had asked if she could talk about me and Adonis as well and I had said I would talk to Adonis about it.

I closed Adonis's laptop and he looked up at me with an annoyed look. I gave him a sweet smile but he didn't look entertained at all. I put my hands up and said ,'I just want to ask someone then you can get back to work.'

He nodded and said ,'Okay go on.'

I went on and said, 'Nicole wanted to know if she could talk about us tomorrow during her interview.'

He looked thoughtful and said ,'But wouldn't that be taking away from her interview part.'

I nodded but he then added ,'If she has to she can.'

I nodded and said ,'I'm sure she meant if she had to.'

I heard my phone ringing in my lap and it was Anneliese. I answered it and put it on loudspeaker. Anneliese said ,'Hey Lily can you come to the theatre real quick, my friends are fans.'

I looked at Adonis and he said ,'Aren't you guys meant to be watching movies?'

Anneliese hunmed in agreement and said ,'Yes but some of them saw Lily in the kitchen and now the others want to see and the one's who saw her before want to see her again. '

I furrowed my brows and Adonis gave me a look that said I told you so and I rolled my eyes in reply to him.

I looked back at my phone and said ,'Uhm sure Anne, I'll  be there in a second.'

I put on my slides and went towards the theatre. The house had the third floor which had our master bedroom, Adonis's office, the library and the sauna. On the second floor there were the five bedrooms, the gaming room, and the theatre. The first floor had the foyer, dining room, the  living room and the kitchen.

I went to the second floor where the theatre was. I walked into the theatre and said ,'Hey Anne.'

All of her friends turned towards the door where I was standing. I gave them a little wave and they stared at me for a long time. After about two minutes they all started talking at the same time. I smiled awkwardly because I couldn't pin point who was saying what.

Anneliese shouted and said ,'Guys!'

They stopped talking and she said ,'She can't tell who is saying what. Can you hurry up what you wanted to do so I can watch some movies.'

A girl with jet black hair came and said ,'Hi, I'm a really big fan.'

I smiled and said ,'Hi it's always nice to meet fans.'

She smiled and said ,'Do you mind if I take a picture with you?'

I shook my head and said ,'No not at all.'

He came and stood next to me and one of her friends snapped a picture. The other girls started taking pictures with me too.

Anneliese started laughing and said ,'Lily, the boys are drooling.'

I looked to the seats and the guys were just staring at me. I waved at them and they were still staring. The girls laughed and they were talking to me about modelling some of them were interested and some of them really despised it. They were a really good group of friends I could tell, they showed that they cared about each other.

I felt someone hug me from behind and I looked up and it was none other than Adonis. A very shirtless Adonis that is and the girls were now staring at Adonis. He waved and said ,'Hey everyone is everything okay?'

Anneliese's friends murmured 'hi' and 'we are fine'. He put his arms back around me and whispered in my ear ,'Are you nearly done?'

I nodded and looked and the girls were now staring at Adonis. The girls looked starstruck  and nervous and I found it fascinating.

Anneliese groaned and said ,'Okay I think we are done here.'

I smiled and she said ,'Thanks Lily for coming down.'

I replied her and said ,'It's all good. We are going to leave you guys to it.'

One of the guys stood up and said ,'You're welcome to stay and watch with us Lily.'

I smiled and shook my head and said ,'Thank you but we should really get going. Right Adonis?'

Adonis nodded and said ,'Yeah, Good night guys. Keep it down please.'

I started walking out and I looked back at Asonis who was walking behind me and I said ,'Why are you shirtless?'

He shrugged and said ,'Well you are wearing just a hoodie.'

I rolled my eyes at him and he chuckled, hugging me from behind.
