C H A P T E R 21

Lily's POV

I woke up to butterfly kisses on my neck and I smiled remembering last night. I turned to face Adonis and I gave him a sleepy smile. He had a sexy grin on his face and his hair was tousled and in conclusion he looked good.

I gave him a peck and said ,'Morning.'

He smiled and said ,'Morning baby, you good?'

I nodded and said ,'What time is it?'

He picked up his phone and said ,'It's nine but Ben and Jane are leaving today and I lost rock, paper and scissors to Connor so we need to take them.'

I groaned and said ,' Why can't they use the driver.'

He chuckled and said ,'Because they want their friends to take them apparently.'

I groaned again and sat up and stretched and turned to Adonis ,'What are we doing today?'

I looked back at him and he was staring at me and said ,'Well I want to stay here and have multiple redos of last nights multiple rounds.'

I gave him a look and he said ,'Okay fine, I was actually thinking of taking you shopping.'

I looked at him and said ,'How about we just go shopping. You buy for yourself and I buy for myself.'

He gave me a look and said ,'No I'm buying .'

I gave him a smile and said ,'Well if you insist.'

He playfully rolled his eyes and said ,'Come on, let's go shower.'

I got onto his back and we went into the shower and showered.

We had dropped off Jane and Ben at the airport and we were on our way to shop. We got to our first store and got in. The first store we went into Adonis bought me every single bag I liked and he was spoiling me. I really liked it, the feeling of shopping with someone and he was actually paying attention to me. When I was dating Damien after meeting my family and finding out that we were quite wealthy things became super awkward, it came to the point where I just decided to never go shopping with him. Damien always had a comment to make about how I could buy the whole store and it would not dent my money. With Adonis there were no problems we just looked at items and talked about what I would wear them with and all of that.

We were buying shoes and clothes for Adonis too and he had really good taste. We walked into American Swiss because I wanted to get some new jewellery. Adonis walked in first then I came in after and as soon as the attendant laid eyes on Adonis it was as if something came over her. All of a sudden the attendant was standing taller with a thousand watt smile on her face. I rolled my eyes not wanying watch what was about to happen and tried to let go of Adonis's hand but he wouldn't let go. I narrowed my eyes at him but he wasn't playing me any heed.

The attendant came up to Adonis amd said ,'Good Morning sir, is there uhm any way I can help you today?'

Adonis put me in front of him and the attendant said ,'Oh your sister would like something?'

I rolled my eyes because she knew for damn sure I wasn't his sister. I walked away from both of them not in the mood, I was having a good day and some jewellery would only make it better. I started looking at some earrings there were some diamond hoops that looked amazing. A male assistant came up to me and said ,'Morning ma'am, can I assist you?'

I looked up at him and gave him a smile and I said, 'Hi, yeah can I see these diamond encrusted hoops please?'

The man opened the case and he said well there are three sizes. I nodded and looked at the hoops they were subtle, in that you can't tell they have diamonds in them unless you look at them really close.

Adonis came and hugged me from behind and said ,'You really left me alone.'

I laughed at how annoyed he sounded with the girl. I turned and put my arms around his neck and looked into his eyes. His blue eyes were glistening and I couldn't help but just look into them. When I realised I had been staring I put my face into his chest and calmed myself down.

I turned to the cabinet and said ,'I found some super cute hoops.'

He kept his arms around me and said ,'Which ones?'

I showed him the ones I asked the shop assistant to pack for me. He put his chin onto my shoulder and we looked into the glass cabinet with the earrings. We went to the counter and Adonis paid for my earrings. I gave him a kiss and thanked him. Adonis was holding my shopping bags in one hand and with the other he was hilding my hand and we were going to the car.

He first opened the passenger door for me and when I was seated he put my shopping bags in the boot of the car. He sat in the driver's seat and said ,'So food?'

I nodded and with a groan said ,'Yes please. Something to make me even happier.'

Adonis and I were looking for a restaurant whilst driving around then we found one.

We had our lunch and everything was going perfect till some papprazzi found us and so they were taking pictures of us during our meal. We acted unbothered and acted like they weren't there. Adonis was his normal touchy self and I was my normal self leaning into him.

We were eating and my phone pinged. I opened it and I looked up at Adonis. He furrowed his brows at me and said ,'What?'

I looked back at my phone and said ,'There is an article about us that Jenny sent me.'

He sipped his drink and sat backwards into his seat and said ,'Read it, let's hear.'

I nodded and started reading.

'The past year has been a roller coaster ride for the public as supermodel Lily Hart broke up with her long term football player boyfriend Damien Howard after about a year and a half of dating. Both of them however moved on relatively quickly with Damien moving onto one of the girls we would often see with Lily and Nicole and Lily moved onto someone who was quite unknown. The reason for the break up between Damien and Lily Hart still remains unknown even though Damien and his new girlfriend hinted that Lily Hart cheated.

Up until Lily Hart went onto Ellen it was unclear whether she really had a new man or not. Up to that point we had seen a pictures of someone tying her shoelaces, but Ellen managed to drag the name out of Lily Hart as she seemed reluctant to share any details at all.

When she said the name it didn't take long for people to find the new mystery man at all. She is dating Adonis Hamilton the son of the supermodel from the past who had seemed to disappear from the face of the Earth when she retired, jow known as Pamela Hamilton. Adonis Hamilton has been named the youngest and hottest billionaire for the past two years. It is clear that he is a very private person and it was confirmed when Lily Hart made that clear during Ellen.

The couple has been spotted a few times one of the times being at a football game which Damien Howard was playing. The couple has been on vacation with Lily Hart's fellow supermodel and best friend Nicole who has also been seen around with another mysterious man and with football player Ben who is Lily Hart's best friend who has been spotted being very comfortable with fashion designer Jane. The couple was spotted playing tennis at a hotel in Cancun but according to sources they are not staying at the hotel. '

Adonis looked at me and said ,'Are those two really hinting that you cheated?'

I nodded and said ,'Yeah I heard about it like two weeks ago I think.'

He tightened his hold on the steering wheel and said ,'Well that's annoying.'

I laughed at his reaction and said ,'Yeah I couldn't care less though.'

He chuckled and said ,'Of course you don't, you're nice.'

I playfully rolled my eyes and said ,'I'm honestly over them and all their drama.'

Adonis chuckled and said ,'I'm not. '

I gave him a look and just smiled at him. The mood in the car switched up and I looked at Adonis and he was already looking at me. I sighed because I didn't like where things might go.

I took a deep breathe and said ,'What's about to happen?'

He took my hand and said ,' Uhm we are starting a new project and it's with Josie's husband.'

I rolled my eyes because he said her name. I don't really care about the business thing, I understand that but did he really have to say her name.

I looked at him and said ,'You had to say her name didn't you?'

Adonis started laughing at me because of my reaction and said ,'You aren't focusing on the right thing.'

I couldn't help the smile that was bout to come onto my face and I said ,'Yes I am, work is work, I'm more worried about you and her. '

I raised my eyebrows and said ,'So you can continue what you were saying.'

He shook his head and said ,'Oh yeah. There is a meeting and both of them are coming.'

I rolled my eyes because of course she would take any opportunity she had to cross paths with Adonis.

He went on and said ,'I was hoping if you could come with me.'

I gave him an odd look and said ,'Well of course I'm coming I'm not just going to let you go and be with her.'

He playfully rolled his eyes and I said ,'I'm joking but yeah sure I'll come with.'

He chuckled and I got the chills because I got happy, it was just a good moment. It was one of those moments that you remember whenever you think of your good moments with someone.

We got home and Connor and Nicole were watching a movie in the theatre. Adonis went to workout outside and I decided to start packing because we were leaving tomorrow. I connected my phone to the speakers and started listening to Kehlani as I packed.

I had everything packed of mine packed except for my outfit for tonight and the outfit I was flying in. Nicole and Connor were staying and Adonis and I were leaving because he had to get back to work and I had interviews to do. We were going to Los Angeles tomorrow and the next day we have the meeting with Josie and her husband.

I put my bags in the walk in closet along the wall so they are out of the way but so they are easy to move downstairs. I went and took a shower and came in an oversized hoodie. It was like eight at night and I was already cozy in bed watching Dynasty. The chef had made me a strawberry milkshake and now I was chilling.

Adonis walked into our room and he was literally glistening in his sweat. I looked him up and down and I couldn't help the surge that passed through me, he was an unbelievably good looking man. He looked at me and smiled and said ,'Well you look cozy.'

I blushed because I was literally eye raping him right there. He started coming to the bed and I put my hands up and said ,'Not until you shower Adonis.'

He pouted and said ,'How about one hug?'

I shook my head and he said ,'One kiss?'

I shook my head again and he said ,'Fine.'

He walked into the bathroom and I heard the shower start. I was in tears because I had just watched Liam forget Fallon and Adonis walked out of the bathroom and saw me sniffling with some tissues wiping my eyes. He furrowed his eyebrows but he looked confused and concerned at the same time. He slowly started walking towards me but I was paying attention to the tv.

He stood by the side of the bed next to me and said ,'Baby, are you okay?'

I hugged him and I was softly sniffling and he held me closer to him. He started rubbing my arm up and down and said ,'What happened?'

I looked up at Adonis and he started wiping my tears away and I said ,'Liam forgot Fallon, he has amnesia.'

He gave me an incredulous look and said ,'Babe, is that why you're crying?'

I nodded and started sniffling he looked at me and said ,'You know this is a show right?'

I shoved him away and said ,'You don't get it. Fallon loves Liam and things were finally working out and then this happens it's so sad.'

He furrowed his brows and said ,'Well I'm naked let me go get changed and we can watch something.'

He gave me a kiss on the forehead and walked to the walk in closet to change. As he walked to the closet his back muscles looked really good right now.

I decided that my mission for tonight was to get Adonis to cry. I looked through Netflix and I decided on The Notebook, Titanic. He has probably watched them but they are the one's likely to work besides I was in the mood to cry my eyes out today.

He came out in basketball shorts and jumped into the bed and I had gotten some popcorn , chips and candy. The chef had made me a smoothie now and I got Adonis a lemonade because he loves lemonade.

He turned to me and I said ,'So we are going to see if you have emotions.'

He playfully rolled his eyes at me and said ,'Okay babe.'

I looked at him seriously and said ,'I'm marrying an emotionless man.'

He chuckled and said ,'I have emotions when it comes to you.'

He started kissing my neck and I moaned and gave him more access. We kind of had a heated make out session and then we started watching. I was lying with half my body on top of Adonis's and he had his arm around me. I had cried already the first time they separated and Adonis kind of just looked at the television. Now it was the end of the movie and I was literally sobbing. I had moved away from Adonis because he was ruining the vibe of the movie with his emotionless face.

The credits were rolling and I was still crying with my tissue box. I heard a knock on the door and Nicole walked in crying too she came to my side of the bed and we started hugging each other.

I heard Adonis asking Connor why Nicole was crying. I didn't quite hear what Connor said but I heard Titanic.

Nicole looked at me and said ,'Jack died Lils, he died.'

I started crying harder I said ,'Noah and Allie.'

We both started crying harder and Connor said ,'This is awfully dramatic don't you think?'

Nicole slowly pulled away and in a fit of anger said ,'That is because you don't know what love is. He was willing to die Connor, die. Don't you ever disrespect Jack again.'

Nicole gave me a hug and said ,'Good night Lils.'

She walked past Connor with a huff of annoyance and he looked scared. I don't think he knew how much Nicole loved Jack. He walked after her and closed our door.

I looked at Adonis and he looked scared probably not sure about how to react. I lied back onto my pillow and said ,'What Noah did, that is love.'

Adonis pulled me closer to him and said ,'You're right babe.'

I put on Friends and started watching the show and Adonis was moving to me slowly in fear that I would burst too.
