C H A P T E R 11

Lily's POV

Lily's outfit

I had been packing ever since I had woken up this morning. I had packed most of my apartment before I left for Italy so I had been doing my shoes since that was all that I hadn't packed. I was putting the last three pairs of heels in the clear boxes I had bought for my shoes for the move.

My furniture was being given to a children's home in LA, since most of it was relatively new. My utensils like plates and pots were too. My driver Bernard was going to follow with my cars and Maria, the housekeeper I used was from my family's house and she came once a week so I had told her she could stop coming. Jenny was coming to help me pack my clothes into my new room when I got to Adonis's because I had a lot of clothes, if I did it alone it would take forever.

I finished packing and I was now sitting at the bar on my phone waiting for Adonis and the movers. I heard my doorbell ring and I walked to the door when I opened it I saw Zachary instead of Adonis who I was expecting. I looked at Zachary and all I was thinking was how he had the worst timing, Adonis could be arriving at any second.

Zachary smiled at me and said ,'Can I come in?'

I shook my head and said ,'I don't think that's a good idea Zachary.'

He sighed and said ,'Look I'm sorry for causing a scene with your boyfriend the last time I was here, but I meant what I said.'

I shook my head at Zachary and said ,'And I meant what I said Zachary. Adonis is my boyfriend and I'm not going to break up with him to be with you.'

Zachary frowned and said ,'I know you're the one for me Lily Rose because it's never been anyone else.'

His insisting was starting to annoy me now and I was losing my patience. I internally groaned and said ,'Zachary you can repeat it and repeat it but it won't change anything so I think it's just best you drop it.'

He was about to speak again and I said,'No Zachary I mean it you have to drop it.'

Zachary said ,'I'll be waiting Lily Rose, what's a few more years.'

I rolled my eyes, took a deep breathe and just as I was about to speak I felt an arm wrap around my waist and a kiss on my temple. I looked up and saw Adonis and he gave me smile and I smiled back. I looked at Zachary who looked upset with me and that's when I noticed the moving guys standing there awkwardly.

I smiled at the movers and said,'Uhm all the boxes are in the living room if you'd like to get started and the furniture is going to a different address if you don't mind.'

A man who looked like he was in charge because he was dressed in a different coloured uniform to the rest. The man stepped forward and said ,'That's quite alright ma'am we have two trucks.'

I smiled at him gratefully and said ,'Gosh that's super, you can come in.'

The movers all came in and started picking stuff up and moving out. I gave the leader the address and thanked him and walked to Zachary and Adonis who were just staring at each other.

I walked back up to them and said ,'Zachary I think our conversation is over.'

He looked at me like he was hurt and said ,'You are moving in with him?'

My heart hurt a little because he looked hurt but I still nodded.

All of a sudden his wounded look turned to anger and he said ,'Seriously this dude.'

My eyes widened at the his sudden change in emotions. Zachary was getting angrier and Adonis pulled me behind him protectively and said ,'Okay man, that's enough.'

Zachary took a step closer to Adonis and all of a sudden Francis was there. Adonis motioned for the Francis to stop and he did but he stayed in sight.

Adonis looked at Zachary and said ,'I don't want to fight with anyone because I know that's not what Rose would want me to do.'

Zachary rolled his shoulders backwards and with his arms folded glared at Adonis.

I rolled my eyes, highly annoyed by what was happening. I stepped in between them and said ,'It's over and we have to go Adonis.'

He nodded at me and said, 'Fine let's go.'

I was about to walk into my apartment to pick up a box but Adonis stopped me and said ,'No no no missy, I have something to show you.'

I looked at him skeptically and said ,'What?'

He shook his head and said ,'Come on Rose, let's go.'

He took my hand and we walked to the elevator ignoring Zachary who stood there watching us.

We got to the elevator and said ,'At least tell me where we are going?'

He looked at me and said ,'My office that's where the thing I want you to see is.'

I narrowed my eyes at him, he was way too giddy and that was making me even more curious. Adonis was never this giddy. We got to the visitor parking and got into his car amd he started driving.

We got to his office and we walked into the lobby and people were eyeing me. I leaned into Adonis and said ,'You need to start telling me when we are going for dinner or even your office so I can dress accordingly.'

He looked at me and shrugged and I said ,'Oh my word really Adonis.It does matter, you know I love fashion I like to be top notch wherever I'm going.'

He rolled his eyes at me with a chuckle and we got to his floor and motioned me towards his office. The receptionist from his floor looked at me and I winked at her. I walked into the office and plopped onto his seat. He smiled at me and came towards the seat and turned it towards his office windows and I was facing a billboard.

It was my campaign playing on the billboard and it came out really good. I shrugged and looked at Adonis who was starring at it with a really wide smile.

He looked at me and said ,'It's your campaign.'

I laughed and said ,'Yeah I can see it Adonis.'

He frowned and said ,'Why do you look unimpressed?'

I shrugged and said ,'Do you like it?'

He nodded and said ,'Yeah, I've been watching it since it was put up, which was the day I picked you up from the airport.'

I laughed and said ,'You're way too excited about this.'

He was about to speak when someone knocked and he said for the person to come in. A man with glasses who was cute came into the office looking at an ipad and said ,'Adonis man, good thing you are here.'

He looked up and saw me then said ,'Whoa you're the girl on the billboard.'

I smiled with a little smile and he was staring then he said ,'You two are dating and that's why he's been staring at the billboard.'

Adonis cleared his throat and said ,'Norman I think that's enough.'

Norman chuckled and said ,'Okay I'll shut up.'

He waved at me and said ,'I'm Adonis's assistant and you are Lily Rose Hart from magazines.'

I smiled at him and said ,'Yes that's me.'

I got up from my seat and said ,'I'll leave you two to discuss.'

Adonis held my hand softly and said ,'Where you going?'

I replied and said ,'I'm going to go walk around whilst you do your thing, I want some candy from the vending machine I saw in the lobby.'

He nodded and let go of my hand and I walked out. I went to the elevator and went down to the lobby and got myself some candy. I was about to walk back to Adonis's office when the girl from the receptionist desk down here on the first day came up to me with a friend.

She got to me and said ,'Hello, I forgot to ask that day but can I take a picture with you.'

I smiled and said ,'Yeah of course.'

As soon as we took the picture I saw a lot of people coming towards me and I didn't want them to get in trouble so I pretended I didn't notice people coming and went to the elevator.

I arrived at Adonis's floor and went and knocked on his door but not before having a stink eye greeting from the receptionist on the floor. I heard a come in and I walked in and saw Adonis standing opposite Norman with his arms crossed giving orders and instructions. I sat and watched him from the sitting area in his office and just like the last time he looked completely fuckable.

I tuned out of their conversation and I got a message from Jenny about my schedule. This week I was free and resting so I could settle into Adonis's house but then I had Ellen on Thursday.

Adonis and I ended up leaving for his house at around five pm. On our way home we jammed to music. When we got to his house he parked it in his garage and it was my first time seeing it. It had a lot of cars he had like fifteen cars and my three cars had been brought here and were parked. All the cars were parked on spots where there it was elevator like and so the elevator would take the car down to where the road that led to main road or to the front of the house.

We jumped out and went to an actual elevator. When we got to the house lobby the doors opened and we walked in. I saw George standing there and I gave him a wave and a smile.

There were also other people behind George and he smiled back and said ,'Miss Hart, this is my team that helps keep the home in immaculate state. '

He started pointing at the people and said ,'This is my wife Carmella, she is the head housekeeper.'

Carmella came towards me and gave me a hug. I smiled because there was something very motherly about her. She put me at arms length and said ,'Wow, my boy chose well. Good job Adonis.'

I started blushing at the compliment and she said pointing the other two girls in housekeeping uniform and said ,'This is my team, Yasmin and Regina.'

I waved at them and George pointed at the last two and said ,'These are our chefs Mister and Missus Camry.'

I smiled and shook my hand. Adonis put his hands on my shoulders and said ,'This is Lily Rose Hart, my girlfriend and she's moving in.'

Adonis then turned me to face him and said ,'Now for you, I have one last surprise.'

I gave him a look and said ,'No Adonis, no surprises.'

He rolled his eyes and dragged me along with him to where the master bedroom. We walked into the master bedroom and on the table in the lounging area of the master there was a huge box of flowers.

The surprise from Adonis

As soon as I saw the roses I covered my mouth and said ,'You joker.'

He laughed at me and said ,'This is my congratulations for your campaign. I mean I'm obviously more excited about it than you are.'

I looked at him in shook and said ,'Yeah you say something like I'll pay for dinner, not this. I have no words for you, you're an actual joker.'

I throw my hands up and walked to the walk in closet to try and pack but when I got there everything of mine was packed from my jewellery to my shoes, he had added a section where I can do my makeup with like perfect lighting and everything.

I turned to him and said ,'This is a lot Adonis, you didn't have to.'

He was leaving on the door of the walk in closet with a smile on his face and I said,'This walk in closet is amazing.'

I turned around with a huge smile and I ran and jumped on him and hugged him. He hugged me back and I realised what I had done so I got down and said ,'Thank you so much Adonis.'

He looked at me seriously and said ,'No, thank you, the house will have more warmth for sure. '

I hugged him and we stayed like that for awhile. He let go and said ,'So dinner?'

We went down the stairs and we walked into the kitchen. Mrs Camry came and swatted us and said ,'Out of the kitchen go to the dining room.'

Adonis and I said ,'Ouch.'

We went to the dining room and sat down whilst we were served dinner.

After dinner Adonis had gone to his office to get some work done and I went to go shower. I did my daily skin routine and left my face feeling clean. I walked out of the bathroom in one of my oversized sleep hoodies with fuzzy socks and went and stood at the foot of the bed. I had just realised we were going to be sharing a bed and a room. I stared at the hed trying to guess how I was going to know which side to sleep on. I decided I was going to sleep on the side that didn't have the glass wall closest to it. I got into the bed and and picked up my book from the side table and continued from where I had left off.

After about twenty minutes of reading Adonis walked in. I continued to read not really paying him any mind and I heard the bathroom door shut. The bathroom door opened and I looked and Adonis walked out drying his hair with a towel, he was shirtless and was wearing pyjama trousers. Before I gave myself the opportunity to pay attention to his shirtlessness I looked back at my book.

I heard the towel land on the floor and the clean person in me had to react. I looked up at him and said ,'You're not serious.'

He looked at me and said ,'About what?'

I gave him an annoyed look and said ,'The towel you just dropped on the floor.'

Adonis folded his arms across his chest with an amused look on his face and said ,'What about the towel?'

I put my book down and said ,'Pick it up and put it in a hamper.'

He smiled at me but didn't move to pick up the towel but rather just looked at me, obviously amused by how riled up I'm getting over a towel.

I huffed and got up from the bed got to where the towel was and shoved him and picked up the towel. I walked into the bathroom and heard him chuckling. I walked back to the bed and gave him a dirty look as I walked past me.

He called my name and I ignored it and acted like I couldn't hear him. He called me again and said ,'Rose, I was going to pick it up.'

I kept ignoring him and he came to my side of the bed and said ,'Come on Rose, I was just messing with you.'

I continued with my book and then he threw himself over me to get to his side of the bed. I gave him an incredulous look because couldn't he just walk around. I huffed and turned around to face the side where he wasn't. He started tickling me and I was about to blow up in fits of laughter but I was exercising an exponential amount of self control keeping it together. He slipped his arms around me and lifted me and I squealed loudly and all the laughter from before just came bubbling out. He was holding me up and I folded my arms because of how small this made me feel.

My face straightened out and I said ,'Let me down.'

He chuckled and said ,'Not until you say you say the magic word.'

I gave him an are you serious look and I said ,'Put me down now Adonis. How is that for a magic word?'

He pretemded to thinking and said, 'I'm sure that is not it. '

I huffed and said ,'Adonis.'

He replied back with ,'Yes Rose?'

I whispered and said ,'Please let me down.'

He put me down facing him looking very smug and said ,'That wasn't so hard was it now?'

He was about to speak again and I covered his face with my two hands. He licked my hands and I said in surprise ,'Adonis.'

He gave me a cheeky grin and I couldn't help the smile that grew on my face too. I turned to face the other way and Adonis switched the lights off and pulled me against chest. I snuggled into chest and heard his whisper, 'Goodnight Rose.'
