Farm House Stay

They reach farmhouse and Arnav gives her one of the sarees of his mother. Allows her to change in his room and comes out. Makes a call to his sister.

Anjali – Chote...did you find her?...is she ok...?

Arnav – Yeah Di she is fine.... you don't stress yourself....

Anjali – Give the call to her chote...I will apologise.... Get her back home.

Arnav – Di...she is upset...she doesn't want to come there.... She has gone through a lot today and I don't want to force her...

Anjali – But Chote...where will she go? How will you find a place for her to stay....

Arnav – Di .... I will take care of it...I did not want you to be worried. She is safe. Don't ask me anything more than this for now.

Anjali – That's good Chote.... I was really worried for her.... now I am relaxed.....it's quite late you must be tired....have food and sleep.

Arnav – Did you have food and medicines? You should take care of yourself, rather than worrying on things. Don't make her efforts worthless Di please.

Anjali – Ya...I am done with everything...will sleep peacefully now...I know I should not disobey her.....good night.

Arnav – Good night.... (Disconnects the call.... he realises he has headache... An elderly servant comes and arranges the food on dining table) Ramu Kaka.... why are you doing all this...I have told you many times to hire someone to help you...

Ramu – Arnav baba.... I like doing things for you and I am just 55 years old you don't worry.... (Smiles and comes near Arnav pats his cheek) how are you?

Arnav – Surviving

Ramu – Shh.... don't talk like that....

Arnav – Hmmm ...Kaka ...can you massage my head....my head is hurting a lot.... (Rubs his temple by fingers)

Ramu – Ok...I will prepare the oil and come, you be relaxing in your room...

Arnav – Kaka Khushi is in my room.... I will be in study... (Ramu just nods and goes. Khushi comes out wearing the saree which Arnav gave. He gives a smile....) you have dinner and sleep...we will speak in morning.... if you need anything I will be study (he walks to study area without giving a chance to speak. Ramu kaka comes with oil and some cooler eye mask in a tray and walks to study)

Ramu – You got to remove your shirt its wet (he comes and puts towel on recliner) you lie down after removing shirt I will bring steamer.... you will catch cold otherwise... (He comes out and finds Khushi still standing and not eating food) You want me to serve dear?

Khushi – No Kaka Ji....I will have with Arnav Ji....is he busy?

Ramu – Baba has severe headache....I need to massage him ....and after that he will have food from my hand ......you better eat....it will take time...(Smiles at her and walks to store room to find the steamer...Khushi follows...) You need anything?

Khushi – Can I massage his head?

Ramu – He won't allow anyone close to him when he has headache.... don't worry...he will be fine from childhood he is like that...if he is in too stressful situation he get headache....he will be fine in morning...

Khushi – Kaka Ji...please...he has helped me in so many situations.... I never got any chance....I heard you ask him to put the eye cooler...anyways his eyes will be closed....he don't have to know (looking at Ramu kaka in a pleading manner) Please kaka Ji....

Ramu – He has given you Malkin's saree so it should be fine.... (he smiles and tries to hint her) come with me (they both come near study finds Arnav in his dry shorts laying on recliner with eye coolers on.... without any shirt (Ramu gestures Khushi to go and start. Hearing the sound...Arnav shouts...)

Arnav – Kaka ...please start it fast....I am not able to bear this....ahhh...

Ramu – Ya baba...I am starting....

Khushi takes a thin gauge bandage roll and ties over the eye cooler pads so that he is not able to open his eyes quickly and to avoid getting caught. Puts few drops of warm oil on his head and starts massaging....with only left hand

Arnav – Kaka...when did your fingers become so soft.....(Khushi just smiles and Ramu kaka giggles sitting on the chair...she continues slow massage for ten minutes...) ah...finally feeling a bit relived.....do this for some more time please...it feels nice....why are you using only one hand?

She continues...without answering....Ramu kaka again signals that he will be out and leaves.....after 10 more minutes. She puts steamer and helps him taking steam holding the towel over his head...once finished She keeps everything back

Arnav - Enough kaka.... bring me some food....you are going to feed me today....these eye coolers are so damn nice.....

She walks back washes hand...serves food and come back. Keeps the plate.

Arnav - Kaka ...why are you not speaking? Remembering Ma and Dad? Kaka please feed me in hand ...(He asks again. She was stuck now how will she feed from hand. She takes a big sigh....Arnav could sense her) Khushi.... (She gets scared.... his reaction won't be nice...she was mentally preparing herself...he removes the eye cooler adjust his eyes to the light and looks at her...standing little away...scared)

Khushi – Sorry Arnav ji.... I dint...

Arnav – Ramu...Ka (She runs and closes his mouth by her palm)

Khushi – I forced him to let me do things ...please don't scold him....you show all your anger to me....I am sorry....(He holds her hand removes it and brings her in front....) please don't see me like that Arnav Ji.....sorry....I know you don't like me around....but....I .... Feel to be near you always.... I am not understanding why I am doing all this....(Arnav closes his fist....she had all the rights to do these things but he can't let her do such stuff and attract his enemies....he did not want to lash out...)

Arnav – You go have food.....I am sleepy....(She is not going away)....I said go Khushi....(She jerks and start to go away)...take the steamer and go....you would need...you drenched in rain for long...much more than me...

She robotically comes and take it.... She comes out and eats. Arnav ate the food she had got for him. She was unable understand her desperate behaviour around him. She takes steam and sleep. Ramu kaka comes and clears all things on dining table. Arnav was just looking out of window near dining table....

Arnav – She would have done all this herself if it was normal day.... she might be tired....

Ramu – Its ok baba.... She had little fever...she made some herbal tonic and drank.... anyways this is my work.... (Arnav just sighs)...special girl?

Arnav – Yeah...but she doesn't know....and I can't tell her....

Ramu – She likes you....

Arnav – I know.... if I put my 1 step forward...she will put 100 steps.... but I am helpless....

Ramu – I am seeing you this vulnerable after so long.... (comes and puts his hand on Arnav's shoulder...he turns and hugs kaka) ....what's the matter.....you want me to speak? I used to help Arvind Saab to pacify malkin.... (Kaka's tears fall)

Arnav – I can't let her face death like them.... it's all too complicated....and her love towards me is making it tough for me...I can't accept it kaka...I need time....

Ramu – She will wait.... she will understand....

Arnav – That hurts me even more.... she has waited so long already.... I am such a jerk that even now I need time...(he releases kaka and goes and grips the window grill...composes himself) She is the one ma and dad made me marry to....whom I left in the altar......(Ramu kaka is shocked and closes his mouth)

Ramu – Choti Malkin? (Arnav just nods and Kaka has happy tears) she is good pair for you.... she has so much concern...just like malkin (Arnav takes Ramu kaka's hand keep on his head)

Arnav – You can't let her know about this.... not until I sort the murder of Ma and Dad....No one should know about her.

Ramu – But....

Arnav – Please kaka.... it's already too messy...I can't let things go more messier.....if this relation is revealed..... it will put her life at risk......

Ramu – Ok...go and sleep now.... its late...... (Walks to the servant room.)
