Ch.7 CHAPTER 05 - You're all I'll ever...

Xavier's pov

Waking up next to the love of my life of 18 years is one of the happiest moments of my life.

Last night was unreal to me; me kissing her and confessing my love for her. Looking down at her face I tugged a piece of hair behind her ear, if you look close you could see the tiny birthmark just above her upper lip. I honestly thought I was going to end what we have last night because of my kiss but when I felt her reacting to the kiss it was blissful.

I quietly got out of the bed and planned on making her a delightful breakfast. Thanks to my mama I can make a nice meal. Going to the kitchen I met mom,dad,Anny and Mich and greeted them a good morning.

" Mom, can I make a breakfast in bed for Dali please?", I asked her so that I could get some space from the stove too.

" Course darling", she replied moving a bit. I gave her a cheeky smile and started making the food. I took out a frying pan and crack an egg into it and scrambled it the way she likes.

Next I put a piece of bread into the toast and got the berries out of the fridge since she loves to eat berries and bread in the morning. After setting up the meal, I made a cup of coffee for her knowing she starts her day with one for sure. Making sure everything is perfect I left the kitchen to wake up Dali.

Entering the room I was mesmerized by her beauty.

How the sunlight was hitting her face making her look angelic and how her tiny body was swimming in the pool of blankets. I went near the bed side table and kept her breakfast there and went towards her and ran my fingers through her silky hair.

She smiled at the sensation and cuddled further into the pillow. I smiled at how lovely she looks even when she was sleeping.

" Baby, wake up I got you some breakfast", I said trying to wake her up.

" No, let me sleep for a bit more", she whined making me laugh at how cute she sounds.

" Come on love we have a big day ahead of us. Remember the date", I smiled remembering how shy she looked after the kiss.

" Morning bub", hearing her voice brought me out of my wonderland.

" Good morning my angel, and here you go your breakfast in bed plus the way you like it", I said in an Australian accent with a wink at the end.

She laughed at my attempt in imitating the accent and quickly ran to the bathroom before I could catch her.

I shaked my head at her and went to the bed side table and placed her break fast on the bed, right then she came out of the bathroom and sat down looking at the food I made.

" So what do you think, does it look good?", I questioned her.

" Of course it looks good and you know what?", she questioned me back.

" What?",I asked her.

" I'm very lucky to have you in my life", she said looking straight into my eyes and gave a kiss onto my cheek.

" The same goes for you Baby girl. With you in my life I'm not afraid to take a step further into my life knowing you will be by my side. So is the princess ready for our first date?", I asked looking at her with a grin.

She blushed and looked down at her breakfast and said" y-yes I am and very excited too".

" Well that's good but I have to go now baby, finish off your breakfast okay. I'll send you a message at what time I'm going to pick you up and wear something casual", I said.

She pouted at me for leaving but gave me a smile. I kissed her forehead and went downstairs to meet Dali's parents, I want to get their permission if I'm going to make princess my girlfriend and I don't like it if they get to know about us from a third person.

" Mom, dad I have a small confession to make", I told them as soon as I went inside the kitchen and saw them.

" What is it son?", dad asked. I cleared my throat and looked at them nervously, here we go.

" Ahem... I want to say that I'm completely in love with your daughter ever since we were kids and I want to us to be more than best friends. I want to live my life by her side and make decisions together and experience life together. What I want to say is that I want permission to date your daughter and make her mine officially", I confessed hopefully looking at them.

They both gave me grateful smiles and told me" we knew you both were in love with each other since you were kids. Anyone could see it and I'm not scared about Dali when it comes to you because we know how much you care for her and love her, good luck son and make my girl happy", they said.

I was so happy that they agreed to it or else I don't know what I would do to make her mine.

Texting Cody and Andrew to meet me at my place I got on to my car. I want to make our first date the most perfect one. I don't want it to be cliche and over the top, since I know baby girl likes to keep it nice and simple. After parking the vehicle, I got down and went inside my home and saw they have already arrived.

" Yoooo look who's shining!!!", Cody said slapping my back. I know they are happy about me since they have known about my love for Dali since we were 5 years old.

" Happy for you man. You are one lucky bastard", Andrew said hugging me." Okay guys, it's our first date today and I need help to plan a simple yet beautiful date that's why I called you guys over", I said not wanting to waste time. I checked the time and it says 11:30 am, we've got few hours.

" So here's the thing, I don't want her to dress up and be all fancied up on the first date but I want her to be comfortable and it should not be a cliche one too. Any ideas you've got", I said and asked for their ideas too.

Few hours later and the whole date was set up. I must say that I'm very satisfied with how it looks. Since we both wanted a simple date so would could be comfortable and get to know each other more like girlfriend and boyfriend tho we know everything about each other. I planned a simple tent with fairy lights decorating it and inside cushions and pillows with blankets to lie down and with the beautiful scenery we will have the whole night to ourselves.

Checking the time it read 6:30 pm, dang the time flew by without even realising it. I texted baby earlier that I would come and pick her up at 7 o'clock. I can't wait to see her and to the surprise I've planned for her. After dressing myself in a white pair of pants, a light colour t-shirt and a denim worn out jacket with my vans.

Reaching to baby's place I got down and exhaled a nervous breath and started walking towards the door.

When I knocked on the door I heard baby girl saying " I got it! Bye mom, bye dad". When she opened the door I was dumbstruck by her beauty. She was wearing simple floral frock which was sleeveless.

She had her hair down and just some lipstick keeping her face bare the way I like. I didn't realise I was staring at her till she called out for me "bub, let's go".

"Oh,y-yea let's go. You look very beautiful today baby girl", I complimented her to which I earned a very beautiful smile form her.

" Thank you Xavi and you look very handsome today", she said shyly.

" After you my lady", I said with a cheeky grin.

" Thank you kind sir", she played along on getting into the car.

After setting down I started taking her to our destination.

" Xavi where are going?", she asked curiously.

" Um.... I don't know, why don't you look at it yourself when we reach there" I said hardly not giving into her pout and puppy eyes.

Through out the ride I kissed her knuckles of the hand that was intertwined with mine and we talked about random stuff.

Arriving to the place I gave her a blindfold and went to her side and opened her door.

" Baby give me your hand please", I asked her and she placed her tiny arm onto my large palm. Guiding her to our date place I stopped and went behind her to untangle the blindfold.

" Open your eyes now, love", I whispered to her ear.

" Oh my God bub, this is so beautiful. It looks so magical, thank you so much", she said examining the place and turning towards me.

What surprised me the most next was when she hugged me tight and gave me a long peck onto my lips, I was shocked that I got a reaction like that from her. Looks like I've got to do more surprises for her if I can get free kisses and see her extremely blissful.

After having dinner we both lay down with her head placed on my chest and my one wrapped around her waist and us under the night sky.

" Baby, I know it's too soon for you but I truly love you. I am in love with you ever since I first saw you as a baby when I came to see you after you were born. I remember I would not leave your side or I would not let anyone take you from me especially boys. I have waited my whole life to express how I feel to you but I was scared thinking what if you won't feel the same and it might ruin what we have. I love you Daliah Williams, I have, I am and I will always love you", with that said I stood up and asked the question I was dreading to ask," baby girl I know normally the couple doesn't make it official on the first date but once they get to know another they would but it would me a complete lie if I say if I don't know you. I've known you since the moment you came to this world and became my world. Baby, would you be my girlfriend and live life with me together?", I asked looking up at her since I was on one knee.

She was looking at me with tearful eyes and smiling."y-yes yes of course YES!!", she said making me exhale a breath I didn't know I was holding.

I slid the ring that had my initial with onto her finger and kissed it. Standing up in both legs I hugged her and swirl her around making her squeal. After placing her down onto the ground I kissed her passionately and stare into her eyes and kissed her forehead and hugged her again.

She muffled something into my chest so I pulled her away a bit and asked,

" what did you say love, I didn't hear you clearly".

" I said I love you", she said smiling up at me. I was beyond shocked I didn't knew she would confess so early.

"What, say that again", I said.

" I love you bub", she said.

" Again", I said grinning at her like an idiot.

She laughed and said " I love you Xavier Knight to the moon and back, I always have,I am and always will love you", she said and I hugged her tightly to my chest. Today will forever be a date marked by heart in my heart. The day I got my love.
