Daliah's pov

I'm so nervous right now, I can't even express how I'm feeling in words. My feelings are all over the place.

"Don't be nervous baby, it's all cool", Xavi said.

" Bub how could I not, this is my first time making a big decision in my life and I don't know how my parents going to react", by the end of my confession I was panicking.

My parents are more than fine about us dating but moving into an apartment together when I just turn 18.... I hope to God everything will turn out well.

Flashback

"Baby can you pass me the syrup please", Xavi asked.

I passed it to him and continued eating. Currently we are eating breakfast after very eventful more like an emotional night yesterday.

Xavi cleared his throat and poked my side with his finger.

I looked at him and raised an eyebrow at his action. He smiled at me sheepishly and went back to eat.

Weirdo.

I can see from the corner of my eyes he's trying to tell me something but just goes back to eating.

"What is it sweet?" I asked him laughing slightly since he's been dying to ask me something from the past fort five minutes.

"Ahem... I don't know if you feel like this is going way too fast and you can reject if you like. It's all your choice, umm.. What do think about us moving in together to an apartment after you turning 18?", he asked me.

Living with him 24×7 is not something new to me. As we always have been together since I was born and I do know this news is going to be hard on my parents. They trust Xavi blindly and treat him like their own son but me moving out of the house, getting a job and living as adults is something that's going to make my parents very emotional.

Xavi clearing his thoughts snapped me back to reality. He was looking at me intently and with lots of hope.

I smiled at him and told him, " yes of course, I would love us to take another step into our relationship."

He gave me the biggest smile he could and kissed me slow.

I leaned back and looked up at him to tell him that we should tell them about us today at the dinner.

"But we have to tell our parents today at the dinner okay, I don't want to them to know at the last moment"

End of flashback

I exhaled loudly and entered inside the house. I saw everyone is outside already, the place was decorated beautifully. These little things are what I look upto because they bring out more value and memories than something extravagant.

As soon as we entered the backyard everyone turned towards us and we went towards them.

"Hey guys", I waved at them.

"What's up", Xavi greeted them.

"Come come and join us, we've been waiting for you", mama said gesturing us to sit down.

(Few hours later)

We all are settled in the living room, chatting on about random things. Xavi looked at me and pointed his head towards our parents.

"Shall we tell them now, baby?", he asked.

Gosh I'm a nerve wreck. I exhaled I think for the hundredth time today and nodded.

"Mom, dad, Mama and papa, we have something to tell. I know this is may sound very sudden but please hear us out", I said looking at them more like behind them since I didn't want to look at their reactions.

"Ahem.. me and Dali, well it was my idea and I asked her this morning. We want to move in together into an apartment. I know you guys might feel like we are rushing into things buy I've known baby for 17 years and I'm not scared to lead the rest of my life with her. We are not going to move in right away but when you turns 18. So what do you guys think about?". Xavi said like it was a piece of cake.

Damn him.

Bub's parents were the first to talk after our news. They don't look angry rather happy.

"We are very happy for you two and also we know you won't let anything happen to her. I'm not going to stop you guys because we want you to make decisions in your lives now since you both are mature now. All we have to say is good luck and we are very happy for you Xav and we are truly proud of you", mama and papa said.

"Thanks mom, dad. It means a lot and we won't let you down", bub replied.

"Thanks a lot", I said just above a whisper because I'm too nervous to look at my parents.

"Mom? Dad?", I looked at them.

What surprises me next is that my mom's eyes are tearful and my dad is looking at me proudly?

"We are so happy for you honey. We've always known that you are a very responsible person", my mom said.

"And I'm so proud of you that you are making sensible decisions in your life and how you asked our permission before taking any step further. I'm very proud of you hun", dad said with a big smile on his face.

I leaped out of Xavi's arms and hugged my parents thanking them for understanding.

I'm truly happy my parents gave us permission and with Xavi beside me in my life I'm not scared to take a step further into my life.
