I was in control a few seconds ago... My eyes strained as water encased me. I looked down at Melora and Mr.Norbert they were mouthing something but I couldn't hear.

Melora started to float as well as everything else around. Both her and Mr.Norbert grabbed me, yanking me out of the pool of water.

It all came down at once flooding the room. "I'm sorry it's just I was doing it normally and then it just-"

Mr.Norbert cut me off "It's okay, considering both of your guy's ages it's normal for your magics mana output to fluctuate out of control sometimes." He paused"How about we take a break and research a little more on the subject I doubt this will be the last time."

Both Melora and I nodded. Mana is like a pool that you can only bring out small amounts from, many people have different amounts of mana. However until the brain is fully developed the mana of a magic user can go out of control especially if they are stronger. During the teen years mana will fluctuate immensely.

I looked up front, Mr.Norbert smiled gently. "You two are definitely going to be amazing mages one day, more than you already are let me assure you that."

Luckily all my classes throughout the rest of the day went by fast. However, Alibis had been avoiding me and acting nervous all throughout the day. I tried saying hi earlier and then he bolted in the other direction his long lilac hair tied in a red bow following in his path. 'Seriously what is up with him-'

I looked over and saw Melora and Evelyn talking together, "Hey is it just me or is Alibis acting strange today?"

"Oh, yeah he handed me papers earlier and there was a sweat stain from his hand."

"He only sweats when he's nervous," Melora started knowing Alibis the most out of all of us. She held her hand underneath her chin thinking.

We all simultaneously looked out of the window as he ran towards the front gate. Everything seemed normal... I then noticed a figure, the prince from that night. He was hiding slightly behind a pillar as Alibis ranted.

"Hey Evelyn what's that one prince's name that's currently visiting from the other kingdom?"

"Oh that jerk, Dearlin"

I looked at her, "Doesn't that name mean death?"

"Fits perfectly I think."

Melora stood there silently, not a single word left her mouth. She wasn't even paying attention she just looked at Evelyn like she was the only thing in the world. I thought of Orion and how wonderful it is to stare at him, 'I mean he's just so- Crap'

We made our way out the front door and then down the steps. Everything seemed so peaceful and tranquil, 'I wish things could stay like this forever.' Five pairs of feet now walked along the path to our home as Cytherea and Aluxio had joined us.

We had made it through the barrier hair and eyes turning back to normal as we did, wait... Melora and Evelyn.

I looked at them and just got the I could care less stare back. My nerves settled down once again.

"Friends over I see," dad greeted both Melora and Evelyn with a smile, "Dinner will be ready in a few minutes by the way."

"Okay see you,"

"Bye"

Something felt off as we sat there talking in my bedroom, it wasn't until dinner was called that I noticed what was wrong, "Hey, where's Elysia?"

"She should be here, she was reading in her room last time I checked." Mom answered slightly concerned.

"Elysia come down dear!" Dad shouted as he started to scratch his arms.

Both Aluxio and Cytherea exchanged glances with me. Aluxio stood up, "I'll go check on her."

Aluxio got up his footsteps echoed as he walked. Fear circled the room no one breathing. A few minutes passed and then from upstairs a voice came, "Come on Elysia this so no time to hide, com out now we're worried..." Aluxio's voice stopped for moment, however his voice started again worry laced it as he spoke, "Elysia, Elysia...." He started to tell and stopped

I stood up from my seat, noticing father scratching his arms even harder than before. I made my way to the engraved stairs. The stairs that had seemed like a short trip just a few hours ago seemed to drag on forever now.

I made my way towards Elysia's room, Aluxio was pacing around looking everywhere where Elysia could hide. I looked around as well. I noticed a red ribbon on the ground. 'Where have I seen that ribbon before... No way-'

I ran down the stairs skipping most of them as I flew down. I stumbled making my way into the dining room. I panted, "Melora.." I took a deep breath, "Do you know what Alibis is doing tonight?"

She looked confused for a second a few seconds passed and her face lit up with realization as she looked at my hand. "Earlier when I had asked him to hang out he said that he was busy however he never specified what when I asked, he started to act strange when I tried to consult to him about what it was he was doing."

Evelyn caught on when she looked at where Melora's eyes had landed. "I can't help but believe the person earlier was involved with him in this." Melora looked confused.

Everyone thought for a moment evaluating the situation, 'Thank god these people actually have good IQs unlike most of my classmates'

"I believe that we should start to search, Aluxio I want you to go and run towards the police station your uncle should be there and tell him the situation." Dad stated as he started to cool down. Aluxio rushed out the door before anyone could even process the situation.

Me, Evelyn, and Melora went as a group while Mom, Dad, and Cytherea went the other way. "Hey Evelyn, Melora, thank you..."

"You have no faith in me," Evelyn cried out as the lantern shook in her grasp.

"I still can't believe Alibis would do this and you guys were so close too, it's so out of character for him unless there was something or someone-" Melora stopped, the two words that left her mouth stopped both me and Evelyn dead in our tracks, "Prince Dearlin!"

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well, you see Lucille had mentioned the prince earlier when we were observing Alibis, you might not have noticed but that's who Alibis was talking to."

Evelyn started to quicken her pace, "I know where he is, there is only so many places he can hide in a foreign kingdom, and that means the forest."

I started to trip and slightly tumble, my breaths started to quicken and became shorter the farther we ran. I noticed Evelyn stop as we started to hear voices. They were coming from a dimly lit cave, there was a carriage around the corner. The voices were muffled so we couldn't make out as to what they were saying.

I notice Melora close her eyes and start to touch us. They gravity around us started to disappear We made our way towards the cave that soon turned into a swimming like motion.

We passed over guards there was dust falling from the ceiling of the cave.... Oh no, I desperately tried to hold back my sneeze as we made our way further into the cave. My body stopped, "Ah-ah choo-"

The guards looked at us from the noise. We suddenly dropped as Melora started to panic she looked at us and tried to concentrate again we started to float, this time everyone else was floating as well.

I noticed Elysia, she was running on the air, Alibis followed along with Dearlin. "Lucille-" Alibis's voice broke through the chaos.

I glared at him, my gaze then wandered towards Elysia. She looked at me we stared for a second and then both started to go towards each other. Our hands were about to meet just a few centimeters away from each other. I gasped, there was a hand grabbing my ankle

I felt hands start climbing up my entire body just seconds later. I looked down at my torso they were shadows? I looked to find the one controlling them and saw Dearlin... The Rosetta Kingdom and The Abigor Kingdom, the kingdom Dearlin was from  had completely different types of magic in their families, that means they could easily be matched. However it seems Dearlin specializes in his family's unlike myself.

I felt darkness consume my vision yet I stayed awake. It felt as if I was under water as I heard muffled voices. I tried to look around however the key word there is tried. I searched to no avail as I wandered hoping I was at least somewhat getting somewhere.

I felt a shiver, "You abandoned us Oliver, that hurts me." I looked around that unnerving feeling started to rise again. "Look at you so helpless it's almost pitiful Oliver." Voices filled with venom circled around me.

I sat there huddled on the ground, why? Why? It felt like hours passed by my senses overwhelming me.

I felt a rock hit me, "God Lucille your an idiot, you really are hard headed"I realized at that moment, I didn't have a say in coming here, I didn't choose this so why is it my fault!

I sat down on the ground thinking... What can I do? I noticed a small floating orb, it started to light up the darkness. There was a book right next to it, I wandered towards it curious.

I read the cover, 'Fifth grade Journal Belongs to Oliver Johnson' I jumped recognizing it, it flew out if my hands. "Ew that's absolutely disgusting," I glared at it the red cover.

I grabbed it as if I was holding a banana peel. I placed it down on a smooth oak table as the orb followed me. It bobbed up in down moving around the journal as I started to open it. My eyes wandered down slowly waiting for my demise. I couldn't even read it before I chucked it into the abyss.

I continued to look around, a mixture of both me and the original Lucille's memories were mixed together. The orb started to wander off leaving me alone, again.

I started to walk again trying to find a way out. Suddenly I started to see a mixture of events from my memories play out. 'It's almost like I'm in my own mind.' I paused for a second, 'Maybe I am in my mind!'

My head started to spin in circles, wait... I'm in my mind but how?

I started to feel around for something, anything that I could use for a light. My hand grazed over a rectangle like structure. 'My phone!' I jumped in glee as I turned on the flashlight. To my surprise the battery was full and the wifi was strong. 'How in the hell-'

I started to wander until I found a door, it looked like the one to my childhood bedroom. The handle turned in my palm as the door slowly creaked open. "Hello?"

"Hi mister!" There was a kid that was the exact replica of me as a child. "Why do you look so confused?" There was a glint in the child's eyes.

"Oh, it's nothing." I sat on the bed.

"It doesn't look like nothing, tell me I can keep secrets forever and ever." I smiled.

"Well, I'm currently stuck in a situation because a friend of mine went against my trust to help another," I paused for a moment, "Friend? Of theirs and that friend of theirs hurt some people I care about."

The kid looked at me, "Hm, do you know why your friend did that?"

"No that's what I am confused about, especially because my friend is a really nice person."

The kid infront of me thought for a second. "I don't think I can handle this, however maybe you should talk with your friend, if you think they're a good person then you should. Mama always says to take control of a situation before it gets out of hand."

"Yeah, maybe I should however I'm not able to see that friend," I looked down in sorrow, I still didn't know how to get out. 'I wish Mr.Norbert was here to help out he'd figure it out easily.."

"You two should know if this situation ever happens that you can fluctuate mana of another person or creature. It just takes a lot of time and precision." Mr.Norbert's words circled my mind. "Now neither of you should use it in close combat until you've mastered it, it is a difficult process that only few can manage. Both the mana of yourself and the other user must be on the exact wave length..." I smiled.
