Reincarnated No, But I Woke Up In A Different Body

First Person-Lucille

Unlike last time when I was hugged by my family, I was actually suffocating this time. There was some creative positions everyone had passed out in. But unfortunately for me I was in between everyone. I squirmed my way through the pile that I call family getting kicked in the face in the process.

I looked at the plate as I got another one for myself. I then pouted orange juice and took one crepe and went to the dining room. Everyone slowly got up one at a time.

Aluxio proceeded to crack his back really loudly. I froze at the sound and then tried doing the same thing. I put my hands in fist and the pushed the pressure points on my back yet nothing happened. I looked at Aluxio as he laughed. My shocked face stayed looking at him in despair.

"Here I've got you," He stated walking over to me as I stood up. We tried many different positions to pop my back but still nothing. My back felt like it was breaking until a knock boomed at the door.

"Lucille it's a letter for you-" Father shouted into the dining room he then paused looking at us. We then lost formation finally giving up as I got the letter. 'Lucille Lindel' I read as I went to my room. I got my letter opener from the desk. As the wax seal peeled off. I took out the letter inside leaving the envelope on the desk.

Dear Lucille

I am here writing a personal letter for you, I am in a desperate need for you to come to my birthday. There are going to be some unfavorable people there so I need you! Anyways, its today in the afternoon, dress your best and despite it being fall the theme is spring. I expect to see you there

Sincerely, Evelyn

I looked at the letter in my hands. 'This is so out of character for her, but she had to tell me last minute!' I then looked at my closet choosing a shirt. I then chose a dress shirt that had and open cut from the shoulder to the rust and had frills surrounding the hole. I got ankle length pants and high socks. With my magic I intertwined flowers into my clothing dancing around.

I made my way over to the basket of all my embroidered pieces and picked out a white lily hankercheif. When you read the book you find out Evelyn's favorite flower is a white lily. I got some money and went to the market.

When I got there I looked around in dismay I could find nothing. I was in the back of an antique shop and saw a hour glass. It was a perfect gift for Evelyn.

I got home and rushed to the the garden only having a bit till I had to go to the party. I picked small flowers of all kinds. I got a box and places the hour glass in, it fitting perfectly. I laid the handkerchief next to it with the flowers. Then closed the box and wrapped it with ribbon making a bow.

I got my shoes once more, "I'm going to be backs little later," I announced my voice echoing across the house

"Okay," came from every direction. I laughed running out the door. I walked along the dirt path with a long trip ahead of me.

"I'm sorry we can't let you in you do not have an invitation," the guard stated. I glared him down started seeing him start to shake in his boots.

I sighed and then pouted. "Could you at least get Evelyn she knows I'm coming."

"I can't let anyone see the young princess unless I was told ahead of ti-" He stopped as someone spoke from behind him.

"It's okay, he's meant to be here."

"Princess I-"

"You didn't tell me I needed to being the invitation!" I screamed at the all to familiar Evelyn.

"Oh shush you I just saved you didn't I?" She glared at me, "Anyways let's get going." She sighed I had finally made it past the entrance.

The garden looked beautiful, there were many people there dressed in over the top clothing. "I'm glad you at least dressed somewhat normal." Evelyn looked at me looking as though she was dying.

"Shouldn't you open gifts now, after all your guest arrived late, but that's to be expected," An overly annoying person announced trying their best to strike a pose.

"That would be wonderful, however he did not arrive late but held up by the guards so I think you shouldn't make accusations." Evelyn gave a deathly stare.

"Well sense everyone is so eager to give you a gift first how about we start with the first person to arrive." She looked at me smirking with a pitying look.

Evelyn was about to go off until I started my act, "That's only fair, after all I did hold everyone up, I'm severely sorry I probably wasted so much of out time." I said feeling slightly bad for the people that were actually waiting. There were gasps and many people saying, "It's okay," and apologizing. Meanwhile Evelyn gave me a really look.

Evelyn started to open the gifts giving fake reactions as they went along. You could obviously see that these people got the most expensive gift they could in hopes of being favored.

"My turn?" I questioned as I pointed to myself. No have any objections as they stared me down. I then gave Evelyn the box, I heard snickers as people looked at it. Evelyn untied the ribbon and opened the wooden okay. She gasped as she looked at what it was.

"Thank you Lucille," She exclaimed ecstatically. We hugged for a second.

The girl from earlier looked down at it, "That handkerchief is beautiful but it's not even the kingdoms flower. What did you do get it from the lost and found?" She teased.

"Actually I embroidered it myself, I felt that this flower represented Evelyn as a person instead of her family." I looked over as I saw guards wearing other uniforms from the ones that had stopped me before. My eyes landed on familiar freckles. His landed on mine as well. I smiled and Uri did as well we waved to each other.

I had strayed away from the crowd going my own ways and exploring the garden. There was a fountain that had crystal clear water. It almost looked fake as I looked down. However I noticed in the water my eyes weren't black and my hair wasn't brown. Instead they were the same as at home.

I pulled a strand of my hair it looked brown. I then looked back down and it looked blonde. 'Must be the same consent as Orion's magic.' This time however when I looked down I saw a slender hand start to come down on my head. Before I could react I felt the liquid start to fill my lungs

"Hey---- you--------" There was muffled voices around me. 'Im going to die' my panic increased as I started to flail my arms around. The water felt colder as I started to struggle more. My movements slowed, I felt weak, the water invading my lungs finally taking effect. My eyes started to shut as my vision was blurry.

... 'wait can't I just use my magic-' I started to focus as I heard panicked screams around me. I gasped as I was finally able to move the water around my face and get air. The girl that had been droning me backed away in shock. I stayed on my knees on the ground catching my breath.

My hands trembled as my panting started to stop and even out. Everyone from the party saw me and was standing around with shocked faces. I saw Evelyn pushing through the crowd. "Let me through please," she rushed.

My hand was grasped as I was pulled away. I looked to see the blonde in front of me muttering. "I can't believe she would do that, I mean I know these people are insane but still..." She went on until we made it to what I presume was her room.

I fell on the sofa shaken up. "Sorry for getting everything wet," I apologized.

"Don't worry about that you nearly drowned just then," Evelyn said spitting fire. My eyes wandered as I looked around, I noticed myself in the mirror however I did not expect what was staring back. My clothes were all damp. That wasn't the strange part though. Despite knowing my hair should've been brown, it was it's usual light blonde color. I stared with shock.

"Calm down, I already know however fixing both of our problems with our families positions is something out of my control-" Evelyn started on, I noticed she starts to go on long rants when she's enraged.

"Oh it's okay, I'm just shocked the fountain did that. As well as the fact that the matter of our positions is out of our control." I tried easing her worries. 'It seems that were friends even more so then before, I'm glad.' I smiled as that thought crossed my mind.

"Here, and I'm glad you understand." She handed me a silk dress shirt with a bow tied around the collar.

"Thank you," I took the shirt going behind a curtain to change. The shirt fit my physique perfectly. The sleeves were droopy and then cinched at my wrists. I tucked it in as I looked at myself in the mirror. The shirt made me to think of a doll as I looked at myself.

I made my way back over to Evelyn, "So what are we going to do about this," I made an uncertain face pointing at my hair.

Evelyn looked at me as she handed my wet clothing to me in a bag, "That is a big problem isn't it?" She thought for a second, "What do I mean, like come on I can just use my magic."

"What is your magic," I had never really paid attention to anyone's magic not even Evelyn's while reading the book so I was completely lost.

"Oh, I have illusions magic." She eventually started to mutter something as my hair and eyes turned back to rather bland colors again. This time forever I saw it happen right in front of me. It felt abnormal and foreign when I saw it happen.

We had made our way back to the garden. I drank tea as me and Evelyn talked tired of everyone else. The people around us only cared about business and courting. I sighed thinking about the coincidence of seeing Uri.

I felt a tap on my shoulder as I looked over to see who it was, 'Well speak of the devil' It was Uri standing there smiling.

"If I may, can I steal this one right here for a little, I'll bring him back I promise." Uri asked Evelyn holding his pinky out.

"Sure," Evelyn simply stated.

I felt Uri grab my hand as I was lifted from my seat as I felt my feet start to move and quicken rapidly in pace. Our feet padding along in the soft grass.
