Chapter 9-Walk, Dance, Walk again

I laid on my stomach, kicking my legs in the air. Sorin laid there by my side cuddling up to me as I read my book. It was one that Uri had gave me after hearing about the past events a few days ago. Apparently he was moved stations and is currently guarding the first prince now.

Evelyn came and visited again updating me on the rumors that have been spreading about the incident. "Yeah, all the people that have witnessed the event have been sworn to secrecy, a knight had to be imprisoned recently because he started to blab his mouth about your family actually being the royal family." We were lucky that the public believed everything said by the King, kind of concerning though. If they had found out about us actually being the royal family things would've been chaos, on top of the fact that the second prince of the neighboring kingdom seeing as Dearlin is currently imprisoned in our border.

I sighed closing my book for the twentieth time sense I've opened it. Sorin looked up at me, curiosity in his eyes. I hugged Sorin tightly, he rested on my chest as I rolled back and forth. I heard a chuckle at the door. My head snapped in the direction of the sound, "Orion!"

"Someone's happy to see me," He came closer to me setting his things on the ground, "I'm glad you're safe after what happened."

"Yeah... Hey wait how did you find out where I live-"

He put a finger to his lip, "That's not something you should worry your pretty little head about, now is it?"

I glared at him, "It most definitely is something I should worry about."

I felt my body start to be lifted as Sorin jumped away from me, "Really, well then it's a secret for me to know and never tell you. Now my beauty I need you to sit on a chair."

Orion swiftly pulled out my desk chair the the middle of the room as he sat me down on the chair. Sorin jumped back up and sat on my lap. I looked back at Orion and he smiled. He started to paint. "Really don't you have one of me already?"

"Oh please, it will never be enough after all your so beautiful," I blushed.

I grabbed Sorin and put him to my face acting as if he was talking, my hands shaking as my body still felt weak, "I think you have enough of Lucille after all he is just average looking."

"Really, now if that was the case then why would I paint him so much." Orion gave me the really look.

I giggled and still countinued impersonating Sorin, "Yeah he is so I don't now why you would paint him."

Orion chuckled shook his head, "Well I think he's beautiful almost like a porcelain doll." I felt astonished that Orion would think that about me.

"Really? Right now he can't even walk because he was stupid."

"Well personally I think that doesn't waver his beauty one bit." I smiled as Orion continued to paint, I was blushing at his previous comments.

I continued to hold Sorin to my face as we talked back to each other, back and forth. I peaked out from behind the white fur, Orion smiled at me as I did. Quickly I put Sorin back in front of my face once again, him hissing at the sudden actions.

Dad brought up dinner for both of us. We sat facing each other from opposite end of the room. As I ate my sashimi I could feel Orion's eyes following my every movement as my hands shook, my body still being weak from exhausting myself.

Recipe:

Ingredients-

Sashimi

Wasabi

Soy sauce

Ginger

Rice

⚠️ Warning ⚠️- This is a raw fish, which can carry parasites even in safer places. If your area is not a safe place for eating fish raw I advise frying it or not trying this. Please do this in a safe environment

Step 1-Freeze Sashimi over night (Or if your like my family eat it right after it's caught and filet"

Step 2-If frozen thaw halfway

Step 3-If you want to make sticky rice

Step 4-Mix wasabi with Soy sauce, you can also have plain soy sauce if wanted

Step 5-Put Ginger on top

Recommendation-I advise not eating it raw right after it is caught, you could get a parasite from doing it in most areas in the world. Freezing it removes and kills parasites

"I'm sorry Lucille it's just, it's well.."

I gave Orion a questioning look, "It's what?" I put more of the raw fish in my mouth still cold from being frozen.

"It's well... It's- It's raw-" Orion looked as if he was going to throw up.

"Yeah, that's how it's supposed to be!" Orion looked at me as if I was crazy. I ate more as Orion looked worried, I dipped the sashimi in the soy sauce mixed with wasabi, putting a little ginger on top.

Sorin jumped at my plate, "Hey!" I tried to get back my fish leaning forward. I started to fall towards the ground. Everything spilling along the ground, including myself.

"Come here," I felt Orion pick me up, his arms felt familiar despite having never picked me up before. He sat me down on my bed. Grabbing towels as he quickly cleaned it up. "Here you can have mine."

"Really?" I was filled with joy as he said those words.

"Really," He chuckled as he brought over his plate.

"I still don't get how you don't like sashimi-"

"Bad past with it."

"Lame excuse, I need a real reason.... Like not liking the texture." We sat there talking and eating. At one point I had shoved some sashimi in his mouth. "Oh wait can I see your painting from earlier?" Orion simply nodded as an answer. He went over to the easel he had brought taking long strides carrying the painting.

I pouted as he held it facing towards himself instead of me, he simply laughed at the action. "Maybe I should just keep it to myself," Orion suggested.

"Well I think that's a pretty rude thing to do, I could just call you a creepy obsessive stalker then."

"Maybe I am."

"Maybe your what!?" Orion caved in and just showed me the painting, not answering my previous question. He had Sorin held up to my face with my hairs obviously behind him.

"I really think that someone looks beautiful in this," Orion stated as I looked at the painting.

"I say it's the wall flower,"

"What, no! It's Sorin obviously," Orion stated as if it was the most obvious thing. "However my intuition also says that it might be you."

"Hey... You still didn't answer my question from earlier-"

"I'm not a creepy obsessive stalker, I promise," Orion held out his pinky for me. I gratefully locked my finger with his.

We smiled as we stared out of my window after a few hours of talking. "Okay, okay so you know anti matter?" I asked trying to test the knowledge of this world compared to my original one.

"Yeah?" Orion looked confused at my question.

"Okay so what if the universe was created from anti matter because everything has to be balanced so it turned in to matter and then the big bang was created."

"That would make sense but still there is multiple things that could've happened because there is endless possibilities." We countinued to talk until we started to fall asleep both passing out on the floor in front of my window, Sorin laying between us on his back.

I jumped in victory as I was finally able to stand, it hurt like hell but still it's progress after exhausting my entire body. My arms were also feeling a lot less weak as I shook them around.

I turned back feeling eyes on me. Orion and Sorin stared back at me, Orion smirking and Sorin being pet by him. "Well someone is happy."

I pointed directly at Orion, "You would be too of you were stuck in bed for eternity." We both started to laugh, Sorin freaking out as he jumped out of Orion's arms.

"Now that you can move would you mind if I have this dance,"

"Why?"

"Why not," He smiled sweat dripping from his forehead.

"You seem very suspicious right now, and I have a pretty good intuition." I smirked as Orion averted my eyes.

"Well you see I thought you'd know how to dance and right now I'm kinda sorta failing my dance class cause I can't find a partner for it." Orion quickly said almost impossible to understand.

I tried to look at him sadly, however as the seconds passed by it got harder and harder... "Pfft- Oh my gosh really?Your like the last person I'd expect to not have partner I mean- I mean ahahaha!" I rolled on the ground laughing.

I looked up wiping my tears away, I was met with eyes glaring back at me Orion looked really mad, "I'm sorry I just can't keep it in it's just so funny, Mr.Handsome doesn't have a partner to dance with!"

I saw a smirk appear on Orion's face, "So will you dance with Mr.Handsome, after all you said the name yourself it's got to have a meaning behind it." I looked at Orion shocked, 'That bitch caught on.'

"I will dance with you but not because of that name, I just- well you see- I-" I tried to come up with a reason but failed miserably.

"I'm very glad, plus your kind of attractive yourself I would say."

"Thanks," I grasped Orion's hand as he helped me get up after laughing on the floor. We both made our way downstairs quickly eating as we both raced to the dance room, me winning because Orion had to follow me.

"That's not fair-" Orion gasped out.

"Well a race is a race, I think you just a sore loser." I put my hands on my hips as I talked.

"Well anyways," Orion started to bow, "May I have this dance?" He held out his arm.

"I might have to think about it.... Okay!" I grasped Orion's hand and we started on. There was no music however you could hear noises from outside. It was peaceful to say the least. We simply did a waltz making our way around the room multiple times. Neither of us stepped on one another's feet, the atmosphere tranquil as we continued on.

"So will I need to come to these classes?"

"Only in the afternoon after classes, there is a little over a week of it."

"That should work out, especially because I don't really do anything after school." I sighed I really do not do that much after school.

"Great, and thank you it means a lot to me." Orion looked at me as he spoke.

"Anytime, plus I can't have you failing after all you are one of the last people I'd expect to fail."

"Really? I'd think opposite."

"Really! Wow I mean you just give off the super intelligent vibe."

"Now that's not something I can believe, if anything you give of the vibe."

'Probably because I'm from a different world mentally that has more intellectual technology, but okay."

"Okay, I think it might be time we should stop I mean we've been doing this forever like a little too long."

Orion seemed to realize, "Okay, yeah that was like an abnormally long dance lesson." We both laughed as we let go of each other's grasp as we did a little gasp could be heard from the doorway.

"Luci! I can't believe you didn't tell me my best friend was here," Elysia looked at me as if I killed a puppy in front of her, "the betrayal I feel right now Luci, the Betrayal!"

Orion made his way over to her tiny frame, "I am deeply sorry princess, I should've known better than to come here unannounced." He put on the same British accent he had a week prior.

Elysia started to talk with another British accent just like before, "It's okay sir, I'm sure you didn't mean it however next time make sure to tell me prior."

"Of course your highness I shall do so," both of them made drastic movements as they talked some more wiping away fake tears as they went on. I just stood there watching the whole over the top scene unfold right before my eyes.

(A/N)-Hey, this chapter took a little bit longer than expected, I was on vacation and ended of getting sun poisoning so that was fun. The conversation about space was actually apart of one me and my cousin had talked about. Also when Orion called Lucille a porcelain doll, that was actually a compliment my other cousin received at prom and I just think it's such a beautiful compliment so I had to add it in.
