Chapter 41
Millionaire's Hot Secretary
Hames was in the bathroom while I was done dressing. I wondered how long he was going to spend. I wore my heart-shaped earrings then a feather boa over my shoulders, whether or not it matched my not-so-revealing dress.
I admired my hot self in the mirror for a while before deciding to take a couple of photos I was going to post on my social media accounts. People were asking about me and Hames but he didn't want to let the media know yet for some reasons.
I decided to take more photos without the feather boa but I was interrupted by a call from Tyler.
I answered the call and placed the phone on my ear. "Hey, Tyler."
"Hi, babe." Babe? He ought not to refer to a married woman like that. "I hope you aren't so busy."
"I'm kind of busy."
"Oh, that's sad. I'm at a club right now and I was wondering if you'd be interested in joining me. Instead of our next date, we can make it tonight, right now. Should I pick you up orâ"
"No, Tyler."
"Oh. Why?"
"It isn't necessary to tell you why but I'd let you know that I'm now married andâ¦" I glanced at the bathroom door, "... I don't think my husband would like me to go on dates with a friend. I also won't feel comfortable about it."
"Okay. No problem. That confirms that the rumors are true. The last time we had a date, you were ranting about how terrible he is. How did things change so quickly?"
"You can't understand." I remembered Hames stupid contract that I couldn't let people know our marriage isn't one stupid sweet one. "I guess love just popped in. Love can do wonders." I chuckled.
"Oh, who am I to question love then?"
"Yeah. By the way, next time you intend to invite a woman to a club or anywhere, you don't tell her only a few minutes before the time."
"Oh. Taken into consideration." He said and we both laughed.
I squeaked as I felt two strong and wet arms wrap around my waist from behind. "Bye, I've gotta go now." I quickly ended the call.
I knew it was none other than Hames as he started to kiss the crook of my neck.
"Hey, sweetheart. I missed you." He held my arm, caressing it lovely.
"H-Hames," I was feeling choked. His gesture was making my breath seize and my heart raced faster.
"I love it when you call my name." His voice sounded deeper than normal and it also caused a weird feeling to snake down my spine.
He continued kissing my neck, making a strange sound almost emit from me.
"Stop," I said but he didn't listen. I could push him off but something didn't want me to. It felt good in a way.
He trailed his finger from my shoulder to my bare arm, kissing it.
He turned me around to face him.
My eyes widened after noticing he was shirtless and I forgot how to breathe at the sight of his well-defined muscular body that was still wet with water from his black hair dropping to his body.
He kept his arm around my waist again to pull me closer to him.
I tried to stop myself from looking down, hoping he was going to at least have a towel covering his lower half but I couldn't stop myself and had to. I sighed after noticing he was wearing denim trousers.
He threw his head back to laugh. "What's on that dirty mind of yours, dear wife?" He smirked and resumed kissing my neck.
I shut my eyes, enjoying the feeling of his lips. This wasn't right but why did it feel so right?
"Hames, stop." That came out as a whisper.
"Though it's in the contract that I have permission to do this and not stop when you want me to, I'll stop right now if you truly want me to; it must be evident in your voice."
He continued caressing my body and kissed the spot between my neck and head. I had to stop the moan that threatened to leave me.
I wanted to push him off but my body couldn't let me. His kiss was making a tingling sensation sing inside of me.
"Hames⦠weâwe'll be late forâ for our⦠flight." I stuttered.
"We can be late. It's my private airplane so it shouldn't matter." He brushed my hair away from the other side of my neck so he could kiss it. He gently nibbled on it and this time, I couldn't stop the moan from escaping me.
I finally snapped back to reality and widened my eyes. I pulled away from him. "I told you to stop."
"You told me to but you didn't want me to." He held my arm before I was out of arm's length, pulling me back to his chest, holding my waist with both hands then smacked his lips against mine, sucking my breath with the excuse of kissing me.
I felt dizzy from his kiss and my heart was throbbing faster this time. I involuntarily held his bare shoulders, melting my hands in an instant. What sort of man was this that confused my body and soul?
He broke the kiss, giving me the chance to breathe properly again. "Then she'll say she has no feelings for me." He smirked, walking over to a chair which had his shirt on it. "This honeymoon is one of the fifteen chances you've given me so believe me, I'll do 'everything' I can to make sure you love me." He wore his shirt.
I was still dumbfounded, trying to regain my consciousness that had gone.
He wore his shirt then returned to me. "I'm so curious. Why won't you love me?"
"You're a jerk." I replied, folding my arms across my chest.
"I promised to change for you and I'm doing that but you're still not accepting me?"
"I think you're obsessed with me and that is enough to make me scared. Why else would you literally force me to get married to you when I don't love you? It's crazy, just like you are. Andâ¦" I trailed off, trying to think of any other reason to not like him.
"The main point is that I love you and you will too. You can't remain this way for at least 30 years. Do you think you'll live the next 30 years of our marriage this way? You'll love me because you're already loving me, you're simply unable to realize it yet." He scanned me from head to toe, taking a stop at my chest region. "You look great, as always."
I ignored his compliment, as always. "Where are we going? I don't think it's sensible to go with you to this honeymoon without knowing where we're going."
"Be patient, babe. You'll know soon. It might not be a big surprise but it's more interesting when you don't know yet."
"And what if I decide to not go till you tell me where we're going?" I moved a step forward.
"Then I'll carry you till you're inside the airplane with me." He shrugged like it was nothing. "And you'll know I'll gladly do that."
I rolled my eyes at him, walking to my feather boa then resumed taking photos of myself, making sure Hames wasn't in any of my photos.
After a while of taking photos, Hames held my shoulders and kissed my cheek. It was too late for me to not capture that.
"Gosh, you've ruined my photo." I complained.
"I know I haven't." He snatched my phone from me and viewed the photo. "We look so good together. Perfect couple."
I took my phone from him. I wanted to delete the photo but it definitely looked really cute so I let it be.
"I'm ready to leave if you are. Our bags will be taken care of. Do you need to hold anything with you?"
"I don't think so." I glanced around. "Just my phone but it's already with me."
"Okay then, my love." He lifted me up my feet in a bridal style.
"Why?"
"Doesn't your feet hurt anymore, my Queen?" He started walking out of our bedroom.
"Put me down." I groaned.
"I'll carry you till we're in the plane." He kissed my forehead.
"People would know. You don't want that, right?"
"That's why we're leaving tonight. It'll be stealthy, babe." He began tickling my side, I wondered how he was doing that while carrying me.
I laughed boisterously. "Stop⦠stop! You'll drop me."
"I'll never let you fall, sweetheart." He stopped tickling me. "My love, my wife. I can't wait."
"You can't wait for what?" I asked but he only smirked and didn't respond to me.
He carried me out of the house then placed me in the backseat of his car, getting in beside me.
I wondered what this honeymoon had in store for us.
