11. I Want To Go To The Town No Matter What

The next day, I told Urie about the festival when he came at lunch break like usual.

“It’s my first time going somewhere besides the Royal Palace! That’s why I thought, if possible I want Urie to go with me. But... did you already promise to be with someone earlier?”

Urie had become a person of interest in high society faster than I expected.

His promotion to the Knight Order is going well, too. I can confidently say that he is admired by every female in this world.

“No, it will be my pleasure to go with you. But Haruto, will you be alright with that hair?”

“Yeah. Alex made me a special magic potion. It will change my hair and eye color during the festival.”

“I’m relieved if that’s the case,” Urie answered, then decided that we will meet at the palace gates during the appointed day.

The night before the day of the festival, I took the magic potion in question while Alex watch over me.

It’s quite bitter. After I managed to swallow it down while fighting the strong urge to vomit, the inside of my body became warm then rapidly settled.

“Woah!”

With Alex’s cheer, I knew that it was a success.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

On the other side of the mirror, what was projected were hair of diluted ink and eyes of deep purple color.

‘So this is me?’ I thought in surprise, but then I realized that my sight is not blurry even when I don’t have my glasses on.

“Your eyes were cured, too.”

Alex had a self-satisfied look again.

This person is really an absurdly amazing magician.

Anyhow, this will make it possible for me to attend the festival tomorrow.

However, Alex dropped yet another bomb.

“Tomorrow’s festival is actually something couples attend. Didn’t you invite Urie? Good luck!”

I didn’t hear anything like that!!

Towards Alex who knew that but kept it a secret, my gratitude had now been cut down by half.

“I don’t mind either way, but Urie might be troubled. He looked like he came from a good family. It may be a problem if rumors spread that he’s with a man.”

“But I can’t cancel at this late hour,” I said in fluster.

Alex presented a paper bag, saying he has a good idea.

I have a bad feeling about this.

“Then if Haruto pretends to be a girl, wouldn’t it be fine?”

It’s the first time I wanted to hit Alex.

Still, I don’t have any other plan after all. Without having the willpower to give up my first town visit, I ended up cross dressing.
