"But then he came back a month ago, and everything changed unexpectedly."
Her words make everyone clenched their jaw in anger.
Some even thought to kill Avan twice.
"The day before Mrunali forced us to go Arcade, He called me. It was an unknown number so I pick up."

FLASHBACK
JANVI POV
Ringggg Rinnggggg....~~
I picked up the phone from my bed, and an unknown was staring back at me, but I wasn't even shocked. Being a doctor, an unknown number is a common thing.
So I picked up the phone.
"Hello?" I spoke up when no voice came from the other end.
"Long time no see, little sissy."
And then, like a punch to the gut, she saw the head the voice associated with the number. Her brother.
Those words are enough to make my blood run cold.
NO, NO, NO, NO, this can't be possible. He can't be real. He is not real, he is not real. I am hearing things.
I tried my best to be calm but I couldn't grip around my fears. That fear is eating all my courage and draining out all my strength.
Years of silence, years of freedom from the toxic grip of my brother's abuse. I thought I had left it all behind, thought I was healed. But the sound of his voice, brought it all flooding back.
Again a fake hurt voice came from the Phone, "It is not a good thing to ignore your brother's greetings, Little sis. Remember last time when you dared to ignore me, I punished you for ten years." He chuckled.
His words are making me dizzy. Today, I can feel the earth's rotation.
"What do you want?" I asked, collecting my remaining strength.
I'm not six years old anymore.
"Let's meet sissy."
Now my whole body was shivering.
For a moment, I forgot about the years of therapy, the support of loved ones, and the progress I made. All I could think about was the pain, the fear, and the helplessness.
"I DON'T WANT TO MEET YOU FUCKING BASTARD."
"Language Sis... And trust me you want to because I just see a beautiful little angel going to dance class from your mansion. She sounds tempting to ruin."
Mrunali was the only words buzzing in my ears. Shit!
"Bhai Aahan will kill you if you DARE TO TOUCH HER," I shouted.
But I don't think my words affect him.
"Dear Sis... I was just a few feet away from your sister-in-law. Her name would disappear from this country until your so-called brother reached her."
My eyes prickled with tears as I listened to his words, his tone dripping with malice.
And what made my heart feel was that he was true. He was fucking true. If Aahan is powerful, then Avan is cunning.
I don't want to meet him. But I can't be selfish and risked Mru's life. I can't let her suffer what I suffer.
I was already a broken fucked up mental piece. I can't let her join me.
So, I did what was needed.
"I will meet you."
Those words are the final that broke me completely. I felt like I was suffocating like the weight of my past was crushing me. I was back to where it all started.
"See you soon, little sister," he said and hung up.
But I was frozen in my place.
I can't able to move a single fucking muscle.
'Come on, you little piece of shit, collect yourself. You're not weak, you're not fucking weak... I am strong... I am strong... I face worse than this... I saw everything in my life... I am a doctor... I saw people dying, crying, begging... I saw life slip out in front of me... I have people who care for me... I have a brother who can kill for me and who treats me very well... I have Mru and Pihu, they will always support me... And then I have him - Shivay.'
And the last words make me snap me out of my terror. Yes, I have him. Even if there is no one, he will be there. I knew it from the bottom of my heart.
If I got a single scratch, he would definitely skin alive Avan. So I have nothing to fear.
When Avan broke me the first time, I was alone, but now I have him and them.
Finally, my body started working, and my mind was more collected than I thought.
I can feel a wave of calmness in my heart.
Fuck! Shivay has more effect on me than Avan has.
I collected my things and walked out to the cafe address Avan sent me.
.
.
.
.
At the door of the cafe, I can feel my hands shaking, but I don't know if it is from cold or fear.
As I enter the cafe, I see him - Avan. Looking directly at me with a nasty smirk on his face.
I mask out my fear. Oddly the cafe was empty. Maybe he booked it all.
I walk towards him and sit in front of him.
"You quite grown up." He said with fake sweet down.
For some reason, I feel like his eyes check me out when I enter, but I subdue that thought. I have a worse scenario to think of.
"What do you want?" I asked, in my best confident voice.
"I want money," pausing a little, "From you."
"How much?" That was my first words because money is not a big thing for me to lose.
But he chuckled like I said something stupid.
"I want money from you but not yours."
"Huh?"
His eyes turned dark, and he stared deadly at my eyes, "I want to sell you."
And I lost it.
"WHAT THE FUCKÂ SHIT YOU'RE TALKING? I AM YOUR FUCKING SISTER YOU BITCH. NOT SOME FUCKING WHORE." I slammed the table. I wish I could
My fear turned into anger.
This bitch wants to sell me... Like, who the fuck he think he is?
But his audacity to laugh at my words.
"That's what I'm saying. Be good a sister and help your brother out." He talks about it, so normally, that makes me want to puke.
"Go sold yourself, you fucking asshole."
"Tch tch... You want it or not, sissy, but I m going to do it. I lost something against the gang. And I literally lost my life to them, but you know what? I turned out lucky."
And how desperately I hoped he would be dead.
"But you saved me." He said. I did what? No fucking way I save him.
He sensed my confusion, so he continued, "It turned out the gang leader is whipped for you. He said you saved his life by treating his life-threatening wound."
Fuck, First time I'm regretting to be a doctor.
"And you know what, sissy? I turned out to be lucky when he got to know you're my sister. How beautiful.
Now, if I sold you to him, not only would my life be saved, but I also would get protection."
He uttering nonsense.
"Father has lots of money; you can pay the gang with a blink."
"Do you think it was that simple?" He tilted his head at me, leaning on the chair.
Of course, Money is not a problem for Avan. He was always dear to my parents. So what did he lose to a gang?
"What did you lose?"
He sighed, "One night, I was a little high on drugs and killed two members of the gang."
One night? He was always high on drugs.
"That's the reason money can't solve the problem. And our parents don't even know I am in India. Now you have saved my life by giving yourself."
The normalcy on his face irritated me like he was telling me some story.
"Dream on, Bastard," I said while stopping myself from spitting on his face.
"You know me, Sissy. I always get what I want." He sounds confident in himself.
"Two days after, I will sell you to him. And if you're wondering why I am telling you this, I think you already know." He wink at me.
Of course, I knew. He loves to see the struggle of the lamb by telling the lamb that they are gonna die.
Without replying, I exit the cafe without turning back.
Fear again started engulfing me. I know I can't handle it. I have to find Shivay. I need to tell him. I have to reach him before I start broking again.
I knew that if Avan was confident that he would sell me, that meant he would. He already plans it out.
Monster! Monster! Monster! Monster... From childhood, is buzzing in my ear.
I didn't even realise when I reached the house until I bumped into someone.
Someone is calling my name, but I can't able to hear them. I feel like I am drowning. I can't able to breathe. I'm drowning in a sea of abyss.
"JANVI," A hard shake wakes me up from my drowning.
I met with Pihu's concerned gaze.
I can feel wetness on my cheeks. I didn't even realise I was crying the whole time.
"What's wrong, Janvi?" Pihu asked.
I wanted to say, 'I'm fine', but no words came out.
She didn't ask again but stared at my face for a few seconds.
Tears streamed down my face as Pihu's words wrapped around me like a warm embrace.
"Who the fucking bastard hurts you? Who the fucking you met? And whose name of the grave I should be prepared?"
I felt myself shatter, the dam of emotions breaking as a hysterical cry tore from my throat. I flung my arms around Pihu, clinging to her like a lifeline. She held me tightly, her warmth seeping into my chilled bones.
At that moment, I knew I needed to find Shivay.
But Pihu was the one who could understand my pain, who could see the depths of my anguish. And as she whispered words of vengeance in my ear, I felt a spark of hope ignite within me.
"Tell me everything, Janvi," she urged, her voice trembling with rage. "Trust me, I will destroy the cause of your pain." The conviction in her words was my undoing.
I knew that if she had promised to simply help me, I would have remained silent. But Pihu's promise to destroy the source of my pain was a siren's call, beckoning me to reveal the darkest secrets of my heart.
And so, I surrendered. I let the words spill out, a torrent of pain and fear and shame. Pihu listened, her eyes blazing with fury.
"I have a plan." She said.
In Pihu's fierce devotion, I found the courage to confront my demons. And together, we would unleash a storm of vengeance upon those who had hurt me.

AUTHOR POV
Hearing about how Avan want to sell Janvi. Now everyone wishes that he would die more brutally.
Janvi voiced again filled the room, "The plan was simple. 'Wolf in sheep disguise'..."
"After the planning, Mru made a plan for the arcade. I lied when I said it was my father who was calling. It was Avan." Janvi gave a side glance at Shivay, not completely looking at him. She doesn't want to see him disappointed.
Because she never lied to him.
"Our plan was simple, I just need to pretend that plan was going to, according to Avan."
Everyone listening carefully, curious to know what happened next.
"After two days, Avan's menacing voice echoed through the phone, demanding I meet him. I hesitated, playing the victim, I rejected his offer. But he again threatened me the same way he did the last time he called. So I agree to meet him. He thought I agreed because of his threats, but what he didn't know was that I agreed because of Pihu's plan. She had predicted his every move, including the dingy alleyway meeting spot. I relayed her scripted message: "I'm stuck at home." Avan seethed, giving me an hour to arrive. I agreed, my heart racing, as Pihu's cryptic plan unfolded as she expected."
Now, everyone was looking at Pihu in curiosity, but she didn't lift her head from Naksh's shoulder but still answered their gaze, "A crime always acts in darkness. So I already knew he would ask her in some alone place. I knew it couldn't be a plot or house because he was dumb to tell Janvi that his parents didn't know he was in India. So he can't use his private things. He was going to sell Janvi, and she is not two years old girl who didn't put up a fight to save herself. That means he is planning to kidnap her in an unconscious state. And there is no better place than an alley to attack from the back. And about asking for time, I did it to confirm if he is alone or has gang members as a helper. But he didn't take a second to give us time, which means he is not in anyone's control and not working with gang people."
That makes sense, as everyone thought.
"Pihu left the house after the call, and I left within an hour. When I reached the alley, Avan was ready to attack me, but before he could, Pihu knocked him out. She was hiding in the alley." Janvi said.
"You knock out a man?" Naksh asked.
"I know taekwondo and boxing," Pihu replied.
"Wow", were other people's thoughts, 'I need to protect my handsome face in future during teasing bossy'Â was Naksh's thought.
"Then we kidnapped Avan," Janvi said.
"You did what?" Mrunali asked in shock.
"That's what plan means. 'A wolf in sheep disguised'... Avan thought he was a wolf, but it was us in sheep disguised."
"Then?" Aahan asked.
"Then we tortured him." Janvi's voice was small, but there was no regret.
"But police didn't find any evidence of torture," Aahan tells them.
"How you did that?" He asked.
âââââââââââââââââââ
FLASHBACK
"What will we do now?" Janvi ask, glaring at the person tied on a chair. Her hands fold to her chest. Today there is no fear in her eyes.
"How many years did he torture you?"
Janvi was taken aback by the question. She looked at Pihu beside her whose hands were shoved into her pockets of blazer. Her gaze is cold, piercing Avan.
"10 years," she replied.
Pihu hummed, "So now we will give ten hours of continuous ride of hell without a second of break."
"Okay," Janvi didn't even argue; like why would she do that?
"Just remember, we don't need to give him a heavy wound, we need to make him feel heavy pain," Pihu said.
"Did you have something in mind?"
Pihu smirked, " A lot of things..."
"Let's wake our sleep beauty first~~..." Pihu said in a sing-song voice.
Even though she was looking happy Janvi could tell that there was something dangerous in her eyes.
Pihu went near Avan and slapped him hard on the face, which literally made Janvi laugh.
Avan started waking, turning to adjust his eyes to the dim light of the room.
"Hieee, myself Pihu, welcome to our little hell."
Ava realised the situation as he struggled to free himself.
"I'm not fucking interested in your name, and why the fuck you kidnapped me? You don't know me... I can ruin your life." He shouted at Pihu.
"So if you're not interested in your torturers, then how about what type of torture do you like or prefer?"
"What?" The first glint of fear in his eyes makes Janvi's heart contain.
"Do you like drowning? Or is current running in veins? Burning? Cutting? Making your finger crispy in hot oil? Or....-" Pihu sentence is cut out by Avan's scream.
"YOU'RE FUCKING MONSTER."
Janvi stiffs a little at the familiar words, but Pihu giggle at his words.
"Aww! How did you find out? Did you have an instinct to chase a monster? But you know what I fucking worse than a monster."
She walks behind him, puts her hand on his shoulders and leans on his ear, "Do you think she is human or a monster?"
Avan's fearful eyes met with Janvi's cold ones.
"You think she is a monster, too, right? Then who is gonna save a human like you from two monsters." Pihu said in a fake, concerned voice while Avan was terrified.
For the first time, Janvi felt no shame at the "monster" label. Instead, she exuded confidence, her eyes locking onto Pihu's. Her thoughts whispered, 'Monsters are beautiful, powerful, and confident.'
Janvi could feel she was healing... Not moving on from fear of the past but healing from the past.
She chuckled.
"Brother, do you enjoy the taste of fear? How does it feel?" she asked, sarcasm dripping from her tone. Avan's silence was deafening.
"Brother, we've planned a ten-hour torture schedule for you. I hope you'll enjoy the feeling you've always loved to inflict on others." Janvi's words were laced with venom. Her eyes never left Avan's terrified face.
"Janvi, call Shivay and tell him there's an emergency in the hospital, so we will come late today. Until that time, I will prepare a gift for your brother." Pihu's smile was a thin, cruel line.
.
.
.
.
The tub of icy water loomed above Avan, its translucent surface reflecting the dim light of the room like a cold, unforgiving mirror. Pihu's hands moved with a swift, merciless precision, plunging Avan's head into the water with a force that left him gasping.
Chains bound Avan's wrists and ankles to the chair, rendering him helpless against Pihu's relentless assault. His body thrashed, arching in a desperate bid for freedom, but Pihu's grip was unyielding.
The only sound was the muffled struggle, the water's surface churning as Avan's head flailed beneath. His eyes bulged, the veins in his neck straining as he fought to break the surface.
Pihu waited, her eyes fixed on Avan's submerged form, until his movements slowed, his body weakening. Then, with a swift, cruel motion, she yanked his head out of the water.
Avan's lungs heaved, his chest convulsing as he gasped for air. But before he could catch his breath, Pihu plunged his head back into the icy depths. The process was repeated, a merciless cycle of drowning and resuscitation that stretched on for an eternity.
Time lost all meaning as the minutes ticked by, each one a fresh torment, a new level of suffering. Avan's world narrowed to a single, overwhelming imperative: survival. But Pihu's grip was relentless, her determination to break him unyielding.
As the hour drew to a close, Avan's struggles grew weaker, his body battered, and his spirit shattered.
.
.
.
.
As the last of the icy water cascaded down Avan's shivering form, Pihu stepped back, her eyes glinting with a mixture of fascination and contempt. Avan's gaze, dull and unfocused, drifted up to meet hers, his chest heaving with ragged breaths.
Pihu's smile was a thin, cruel line as she held up the black box, its contents glinting with ominous intent. "Do you know the perks of being a girl?" she taunted, her voice dripping with malice. "We can buy stun guns without raising any eyebrows. And what's their intended purpose? To take down men, of course." Her gaze locked onto Avan's, her eyes flashing with a fierce light. "So, who's the man in this room?"
Avan's eyes widened, his body beginning to shake as he frantically shook his head. Fear radiated from him like a palpable aura, his breaths coming in short, panicked gasps.
Pihu's gaze flicked to Janvi, a silent understanding passing between them. "Let me do it," Janvi said, her voice low and even, a thread of steel running through her tone.
Pihu's shrug was a casual, almost languid gesture as she handed the stun gun to Janvi. The device seemed to hum with anticipation, its presence electrifying the air with an almost palpable sense of menace.
Janvi's fingers closed around the stun gun, her grip firm and resolute. Her eyes locked onto Avan's, a fierce intensity burning within them. Pihu stepped back, a silent observer of the unfolding scene.
Without a word, Janvi activated the stun gun, its high-pitched whine cutting through the air. Avan's eyes widened, his body tensing in anticipation of the pain to come.
"I beg you please leave me... I'm sorry... Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry..." He begged while crying.
"Brother, when I begged you, did you stop? I was just a child."
Janvi's hand moved with a swift, merciless precision, the stun gun's electrodes making contact with Avan's skin. A jolt of electricity coursed through his body, his muscles convulsing in a violent, involuntary spasm.
"ARGH..."
Avan's scream was a raw, animalistic sound, his body arching in agony as the electric shock coursed through his veins. Janvi's face remained impassive, her eyes never leaving Avan's contorted form.
The stun gun's whine ceased, and Avan's body slumped, his chest heaving with ragged breaths. Janvi's gaze lingered on him, her expression unreadable. Then, with a swift motion, she reapplied the stun gun, unleashing another jolt of electricity into Avan's trembling form.
Pihu watched, her eyes gleaming with a cold, calculating light, as Janvi continued to administer the electric shocks, each one a precise, merciless strike. Avan's screams grew hoarse, his body weakening, but Janvi's determination never wavered.
.
.
.
.
As the hours ticked by, Avan's ordeal escalated into a never-ending nightmare. Every sixty minutes, a new form of torture was unleashed upon him, each one meticulously designed to inflict maximum pain without leaving lasting scars.
The electric shocks gave way to razor-sharp blades, slicing into the tender skin of his palms and soles. The wounds, though small, were agonizing, and Pihu's cruel side ensured the wound were quickly immersed in salted water, amplifying the torment.
After one hour wound torture turned into bone dislocation.
The torture continued unabated, each hour bringing a fresh hell.
Ten hours passed, an eternity of suffering that reduced Avan to a shattered, whimpering shell. Finally, Pihu and Janvi departed, leaving him for healing.
FLASHBACK END
The room fell chilled after hearing what the two ladies of the house did. Everyone was shocked but still had no sympathy for Avan. He deserves it.
Aahan was the first who maybe recovered from shock earlier or maybe wasn't even shocked.
"So why did you kill him? For silencing him permanently?" He asked.
"No. We didn't kill him, brother."
"Then how did he die?"
"We don't know. After torture, our plan was simple: let him heal for a week and record him because he was desperately asking for drugs. That proof was enough to threaten. And make him completely shut down. We don't know about his accident. We freed him two days before he died. His death was really an accident."
Everyone took a breath of relief. At least they're not killers.
"Then why do you pretend a heartbroken sister on his death?"
"Because Pihu told me. She said if somehow the postmortem report said that Avan was tortured before death, we can blame my parents that they tortured both siblings."
"That's make sense," Naksh said.
Janvi's voice was laced with remorse as she apologized, "Bhai, I'm sorry."
Aahan's expression softened a little, his tone was still cold. "I'm not angry, Janvi. You did what you felt was right, but you should have told us. We're family. What if something had happened to you both?"
Mrunali nodded in agreement, her eyes filled with concern.
Janvi's gaze dropped, her voice barely above a whisper. "Sorry, Bhai... It won't happen again."
Aahan sighed, he nodded, a gesture of acceptance.
Throughout the exchange, Janvi avoided Shivay's direction, fearful of seeing disappointment etched on his face.
But finally, she gathered the courage to look at him, only to be met with the sight of his retreating back as he left the hall.
A flicker of hurt danced across Janvi's face, as Mrunali noticed. She walked over to Janvi, offering a sympathetic smile. "Talk to him," she encouraged.
Janvi nodded, a determined glint in her eye, and set off to find Shivay.
.
.
.
.
.
She was looking at a sky full of clear stars; her hair was flying with soft, chilled wind.
A voice pierced the silence of the surroundings.
"I know; Avan didn't die by accident; you killed him."
