Chapter 6

Prozac

Elijah

"We are 'The Metal Youth Club' and we're here to damage your hearing! One, two, three, four!" Danny, the band's drummer, yelled into the microphone.

Zeke and Dave were high energy from the beginning, bouncing around the stage and throwing their heads back and forth in such a way that I was worried for the integrity of their necks. Dave stood on top of an amp, playing his guitar in a way that could only be described as furiously.

The crowd were enjoying it, judging by the amount of people jumping and running in circles, and the band seemed to be having even more fun than them. I could barely breath because it was so stuffy in here, so I couldn't imagine how hot they felt up on stage doing all of that.

I couldn't take my eyes off of Zeke. I was mesmerised. Not only by his voice, but by the way he moved. He was so confident on stage and every time he moved his hips whilst playing his electric guitar, I couldn't help but squeak internally. I could barely breath, again party because it was so hot, but also because he was so amazing. His soft white hair was brushed aside and his forehead was shiny with sweat, but it only made him that much more attractive.

After their first song, I almost fainted. He fanned himself to cool himself down but it obviously didn't work, so he pulled his shirt off completely, throwing it over at me. I yelped as his large shirt landed on me and he sent me a wink as he took a sip from his water bottle. Oh my gosh. How did I get so lucky to be here right now? I was miserable for the three weeks between when his phone number had smudged on my arm. When he gave it to me again, I had felt happier than I ever had. Ever.

They kicked into the next song and the entire band seemed to be looking at me. I furrowed my eyebrows and tried to concentrate on the lyrics but it was hard when Zeke was moving the way he was with no shirt on. My face lit up in realisation as he said my name in the middle of the song and my mouth formed an o shape. He had written a song about me? I listened to more of the lyrics and couldn't help but blush deeply- they were pretty sweet to begin with but then they got pretty explicit, similar to a lot of the other songs they were singing. I gasped at one particular lyric and Zeke met my eyes, winking.

During a guitar solo, Danny ran and jumped into the crowd. Security looked a little annoyed about it. Zeke put his mic in its stand and rushed over to me, taking my hand and pulling me out of my armchair. I blushed profusely, stepping back into the wings so that nobody in the crowd could see me. Zeke grabbed my waist and pulled me closer. He held my chin and started to lean down before pausing, as if asking permission to do this.

All I could do was nod before he smashed his lips down on mine, kissing me deeply despite his shortness of breath. All I could focus on was the way Zeke's rough, chapped lips felt on mine. My hands roamed across his bare chest that I had been staring at for the entire performance and they eventually went up into his soft white hair, tugging slightly which produced a groan of pleasure from Zeke which made me blush. He bit my lip and tugged slightly, making me return the gesture of a small noise. He pulled away and gave me a wink, pushing me back into my armchair as he ran back onto stage and grabbed the mic again, just in time as the next verse began and he belted out the lyrics.

I could barely breath after that kiss and he was singing to an audience of people?

I scrambled and picked up the bottle of water next to me, chugging some to try and cool myself down. I noticed Danny was shirtless as well now; somebody had stolen his shirt while he crowd surfed during the guitar solo.

Zeke was practically a god.

The way he moved on stage still had me mesmerised and his jeans were strung low on his hips- showing off the band of his boxers and a small trail of hair disappearing down south. Every time he moved his hips with the guitar my mouth went dry and I had to take another sip of my water.

God the things I wanted this guy to do to me.

Zeke then said to the crowd that they were going to do one last song as an encore, which was a new one that he had written. The crowd were cheering, chanting 'encore' and various other things at the band.

Zeke seemed to be unable to contain his smile as he kicked off the song. Listening to the lyrics was hard with all of the screaming, but from the way Zeke was staring at me every few seconds, I knew that my suspicion that this was a song about me was correct. I mean, he practically described me in the song.

My face was red hot. I couldn't believe he had written a song about me. One so... promiscuous, too. It was clear how he had felt about me.

As they came to a close, they were met with screams from the audience as they threw the set lists into the crowd for the fans to scramble over. I spotted the girl who had managed to grab Danny's shirt and I laughed, pointing her out to Danny who chuckled and sent her a wink. That wink made the girl go weak at the knees, her friend having to hold her up and help her walk out of the venue.

"Enjoy the show?" Zeke mumbled, coming up to me and wrapping his arms around my hips, tugging me towards him.

This boy was going to end up killing me.

"How'd I look up on stage?"

I blushed deeply. I couldn't even form a reply. If I told him how godly he looked up there, I don't think I would be able to look him in the eye ever again. His hips, his bare chest, the way his voice sounded, and the song he wrote about me. All ingredients combined was a recipe for my demise.

"You were great. I loved your music." I smiled at him, giving him the PG version.
