Aisha Simpson The way he kept jacket around me and pulled me in his embrace. But why did he thanked me? Ester is with me on the passenger seat. I drove to Ashton's house. His parent's to be specific. It's my first time here. I parked the car in basement and both of us walked out. Ester went in. But though it's emergency, isn't this my first entry in my In laws house? I didn't expected it like this. I smiled slightly while stepping in from the wooden gate. Ester turned back, when she didn't heard me coming behind her back. She giggled seeing me standing at the door. "Auntyyyyy" A kid's long voice came from inside the living room. He came running to Ester and hugged her. "Where's grandpa and grandma? I haven't eaten anything today. Annie didn't came today since morning. I am hungry. Mamma is still asleep." He said in his childish voice. I have seen this kid in Ester's wedding. Ester turned to me and said, "He is Evan. Matthew's child." I nodded back and walked to them. "Who are you?" Evan asked me. His puppy eyes eagerly waiting for my answer. "Call her Aunty. She is going to be your Aunty probably in few years." Ester told him. I smiled at him and he smiled back. "Let's make breakfast now. Do you want to eat breakfast made by me?" I asked him. And he giggled, nodding excitedly. "Are you asking her to prepare food? She is your Aunty and you are making her work for you." Ester asked him. "You are my Aunty too. And I had asked you so many times to make food for me. Don't you remember making noodles at night for me, when Dad punished me last time." He said confidently looking at Ester."It's okay Ester. Look at Marie. I will take his care." I told her. "Sorry Aisha. But Mom doesn't like food made by workers. And Annie sometimes helps us in meals but she is old too. And she had informed me yesterday that she is going to take leave. So please and thanks." She said. I nodded and Evan walked me to kitchen. He kept talking about his Dad and Mom. Even his Uncle's honeymoon. He kept giggling and yapping for whole time. I gave him hot milk so that he continues for sometime. When I was ready making breakfast I packed some and took the remaining in dining room. Then both of us went to Marie's room. She looked like she just came out of washroom. Evan walked to her and hugged her. And then he pointed to me and said, "She is new Aunty. Ester Aunt said that she will be my Aunty after few years." She chuckled and turned to me. "Oh Aisha. How are you doing?""I am fine. What about you?" I replied."Good too.""Ask about baby. " Evan interrupted her and said looking towards me. I chuckled and asked her, "What about baby? Evan looks really excited to meet his sibling." "Yeah. He is more excited than both of us." She said. I got call that Dad is already awake. So all of us got relief. I came out and went to Ester's room. She showed me Ashton's room. It was messy. Looks like things didn't moved from their places since he had moved out from here. "Mom said that Dad didn't wanted her to move his things until he comes back again. Though Dad doesn't acts like that but he cares a lot about him." Ester said. I remained silent until she spoke again, "You can get fresh in his room. And then we will go to hospital.""Yeah." I said while nodding in positive. After getting fresh I came out and saw Evan dressed in joggers and white t-shirt. I was wearing a blue straight jeans and white crochet top. Marie forced us take her with us. So even she is joining us and I had to packed whole breakfast. We reached hospital and made our way inside. When we were about to reach the room someone pulled my hand in mid. I was walking behind others so they didn't noticed it. But I got relieved when I saw the person who pulled me. It was Ashton. "Did you got fresh?" He hissed in my ears.I nodded like a obedient child. He chuckled. "And breakfast?" He asked."No. Let's have it together." I answered. "Okay. Actually isn't it your first time meeting my Dad? " He asked again. "Yeah it is. And actually I am nervous." I said hesitantly."There's no need to be nervous. Even I am nervous. I think he would kick me out of I went in. I just met him when he was unconscious. My heart was beating so fast at that time. And now when he is already awake, I am not ready to face him." He said. He looked tensed. "It's okay. We will do it." I said. And gave him a warm smile. He smiled back and held my hand dragging me inside. When we stepped inside everyone were busy talking. I saw Hazel's husband there too. Evan and Hope were sitting beside Dad. I wonder if gets shocked seeing us here. Ashton went near him and said, "Dad. How are you feeling? Are you okay now?"His Dad tried his best not to look at him but he did answered with a small nod. I giggled lightly seeing his reaction. Though my voice was low everyone noticed it. And Dad turned to face me. It accelerated my nervousness. I am facing him now. I stopped laughing and bowed a little wishing, "Hello Dad... I mean Sir." You shouldn't say Dad on the first meet itself. Dumb me. What should I do now? Will he scold me in the first meet itself? I have already started sweating. God please save me. Finally he chuckled followed by, "Oh. You are Aisha. Nice to meet you."
