For the rest of the week school was great. Lucy and I talked everyday and me and my brothers got along well. The twins didn't make me walk home. And I was actually starting to like school. A lot.

At the moment i'm sitting on my stomach in the floor as I flip true the pages of a magazine.

My brothers left so it's just me, nanny, and the guards.

Nanny cut up some fruits for me which i was nibbling on. I came across this lady that looked so much like Mother. It made me really sad, so I flipped the page quickly.

That's when I saw it. A movie of a beautiful mermaid. My eyes were wide with excitement. I need to watch this movie!

I have never watched a movie before. This mermaid looks like an actual mermaid. I touched over her long red hair. I wish I was this pretty. I read at the bottom of the page which said the dates and hours the movie will be playing.

"Only on movie theaters" I read out load quietly.

Omg. The last day is on Monday. Today is Sunday. My body bolts up with the magazine in hand and I continue to read the rest of the page.

I stand up and run to find Nanny.

"Nanny!"

As I turn the corner I finally find her decorating donuts. I know they are because I recognize them.

I lift up the magazine for her to see. "Can we please watch this movie, please!" I say excitedly.

"I'm not allowed to take you, but you may ask your brothers to take you Young Miss" She smiles at me.

"But what if they don't want to?" I say with my head down.

"I'm sure they will say yes! In fact, they might be here in a few minutes" Nanny says, looking up at the clock.

I think about it for a few seconds. "Okay! I'll do it!" I say, bringing the magazine to my chest. I'll hold this until they come so I won't forget.

I nervously sit at the stairs by the door, waiting for them to walk through it.

What if Eli says no?

Should I ask Mateo instead since he always says yes to me?

I look up to the twisting knob. They're here!

When the door opens I run up to Eli. "Eli!"

My eldest brother grabs me from under my arms and picks me up.

"I missed you" I whisper. "I missed you too baby" Eli says, sounding very tired. I hug his neck tighter. Hoping I don't choke him.

"What about me!" I turn with a smile and Eli puts me down. "I missed you too Mateo. And Romeo!"

"You are the cutest little baby ever!" Mateo runs to me and twirls me around in his arms. He knows what happens when he does it. I start laughing like crazy.

I hold onto Mateos arm, "Stop, stop it, stop it!" I laugh hysterically. Mateo stops and places me back on my feet. Before letting go of his arm I notice a red stain on his white sleeve.

"Is this blood?" I say squinting at it and bringing it closer for me to see. Before I verify Elias hands removes my hand from Mateos sleeve, removing my attention from the stain.

"It's late Cecilia, why don't you go get ready for bed"

I nod and hurry to my room.

After I got out of the shower I decided to wear a dress pajama! That's what they look like.

Then I remember. I need to ask Elias about the movie.

I look around but realize I must've left at the stairs. I walk down the stairs and pick up the magazine, running towards my eldest brothers room.

I don't know why, probably from being exited, or from being used to him letting me sleep in his room almost every night because I can't sleep in my own, but I forget to knock.

When I open the door Eli is speaking to someone of the phone in a foreign language,

"Mañana. Matamos al jefe" (Tomorrow. We kill the boss)

Although I do not understand the language he speaks the seriousness in his voice is thick.

Right when im about to take another step Elias turns around and sees me standing by the door with my magazine to my chest.

He doesn't say anything to me. Just looks at me with a emotionless look in his eyes, instantly I know he isn't very happy with me.

You should've knocked stupid.

Elias says something else to the person on the other side of the phone and hangs up.

"Eli, I-"

"Can you please knock next time Angelica"

I don't think Eli is in a great mood right now. It's my fault, I acted disrespectful.

"I'm sorry, I won't do that again" I promise him and walk forwards, stopping once i'm standing in front of him. My hands flip through the pages until I land on the one.

I raise the paper to Elias like how I did with Nanny although this time I have to stand on my tippy toes, showing him the big picture of the mermaid. "Can we please go watch this movie tomorrow, it's about a mermaid!" I tell him eagerly.

"You have school tomorrow" He sights, rubbing his temple.

"What about after-"

"We can go another day. Not tomorrow though"

"Tomorrow-"

"Go to bed. It's late" Tomorrow is the last day.

"Goodnight Eli" I say and walk out of his room. If I would've been good he probably would've taken me. But I was stupid and messed it all up.

I open the door to my room and lay down.

My head pounds. I was okay earlier, probably because I ran up the stairs? Romeo always tells me not to run on them.

Taking deep breaths I try to sleep but I can't. It's scary here and I start feeling sick.

I can feel my body shaking although is not even cold.

I can't go to Eli because he's mad.

I wait, but as the time passes it gets harder to breathe. With one hand in my neck I use the other to jank the comforter off me and leave my room.

Breath Angelica. Don't get all stupid and paranoid.

I knock on the door and wait a few seconds until it opens. I look up at his dark eyes.

"Hey...can I p-please sleep with you Eli?" I say, trying to hide the fact I can't breath.

He sights. "Go to sleep in your room Angelica. You can't sleep here anymore"

I can't breathe.

"You don't h-have to take me to the m-movie Eli. Just p-please let me sleep h-here. I don't like my room"

"You sleep here every night. It's tiring"

At his words I feel my heart shatter. My trembling hands slowly raises to my chest, clutching onto the pajama.

"Oh" I bite my lips and look down at the floor.

I look up at him with wobbly lips. "I-I have b-been annoying. S-sorry" A small tear slips from my eye and I run to my room.

I hear Elias calling for me but i'm too hurt to face him.

I close and lock the door.

After Jake, I asked Romeo if he could put a lock on my door to feel safer. Thankfully he did.

I make sure I lock it good and sit on a corner of a room.

Breathe, breathe, breathe.

After a few minutes I open the door and run downstairs.

As I run down the stairs I bump into someone and fall backwards.

"Angelica?"

"Romeo" I stand up and wrap my hands around him. My face on his shirt.

"Why are you crying?"

"Can I please s-sleep with you?" I say, my breathing loud and uneven.

"Yeah...but why didn't you go to Elias this time?"

"He said no Romeo! He got tired of me!" I cry loudly but my cries are muffled by his shirt.

I was so hurt I accidentally snitched on Eli.

Romeo doesn't say anything for a few seconds. "Is my fault princess, i'm sorry. You can sleep in my room for now"

I don't understand why Romeo apologized but I'm just glad he isn't tired of me too.

Romeo picks me up and carries me upstairs.

"Sleep on the bed. I have work so i'll be sitting in that desk" Romeo points towards the brown desk on the opposite side of the room.

"You won't leave?" I say, wiping the tears away.

"No, i'll stay here until you fall asleep"

"Okay, goodnight Ro-meo"

My second eldest brother just pats my head and heads towards his desk.

Soon, I fall asleep at the sound of him typing.

Romeos POV:

"You said it was going to cause some type of...attachment issue!"

"Yes but I didn't tell you to go and tell her it's tiring to have her in your room!"

"You said to put a stop to it immediately!" Elias says in a panicked voice.

"Merda" (Shit) Elias arm rest on his forehead as he brings a cigarette to his mouth.

"Where's Mateo? He'll know what to do" I say and pull out my phone to give him a call but Elias stops me.

"He's in school. Don't call him"

Talking about school. Angel left with the saddest look on her face. She wouldn't look at Elias nor listen to him trying to apologize. Which I know it shouldn't have, but It felt so satisfying.

She favors him too much.

"I'll pick her up early today" Elias says and was about to stand up but I make him sit back down. "She just left Elias. School is important for girls her age too, so don't"

He curses and sits back down.

How can we fix this?

Angelica's POV:

"I can't believe it! You must not let them control you Angelica" Lucy says with a worried expression.

"What should I do?" I ask her

"Go watch the movie on your own"

"But what if-"

"You are letting them control you Angelica. Just go watch it on your own. You don't need they're permission to do everything. Plus, everyone does it you know..."

"Everyone does what?" I ask, confusion laced in my voice.

"They just take some money from they're guardians without asking to buy what they want"

"Isn't that bad-"

"No! Is normal. I've done it before" Lucy tells me with a small worried smile. Probably because I don't know about something so simple like that.

"You should do it, it'll make them proud that your independent" She whispers in my ear.

"Okay...okay! If you say is normal, then i'll go watch the movie tonight"

"Good girl" Lucy praises me and puts her arm around my shoulder.

I have a bad feeling about this, but Lucy has a lot of experience, and I have none when it comes to the real world. And she wouldn't lie to me...

...

All my brothers are upstairs working.

My overalls are on, my shoes are tide the right way. I have the map in case I get lost on my way to the movie place. I just need the money.

After walking in circles in my room I finally build up the courage to start the first step on the mission.

I place the map in my chest pocket of my overalls and sneak inside Elias room. I know he had money in here. As soon as I enter I see a 50 dollar bill in his desk. I jank it and shove it inside my pocket and run out of his room.

I did it. Oh my I did it!

Now the second step. I need to get there without being caught.

I'm thankful today all my brothers are working upstairs. I just need to get past the guards.

I'm sure they'll let me leave since the sun is still out. And I can just make something up if they don't.

The closer I get to the gate the urge to throw up started to grow. I smile at them and my feet step outside the door.

No one stops me.

I grin and continue walking. This is so easy!

It probably is normal to do this that's why the guards didn't say anything.

It takes me half an hour to finally make it to the movie place. It's huge and filled with people but I pull through.

I'm going to watch that movie.

I look up at the clock and it takes me a good 3 minutes to figure out what time it is until I realize the movie doesn't start until an hour.

I got here way too early. But it's okay. I'm going to buy snacks!

I walk towards the food area and wait for a good 10 minutes until is finally my turn to order.

"Hello! what could I get for you Miss" The guys eyes are so blue like Macys. It makes me nervous but I remind myself he is not Macy. Macy isn't here anymore.

"C-can I please order a s-slushy?"

"Yes, of course!"

The guy places the big cup in front of me and I pay him.

This cup is huge!

Enzo POV:

An unfamiliar phone number calls me.

Who the hell is it?

We're in the middle of planning something. I answer and a squeaky voice is heard across the line.

"Is this Angelica's brother, Enzo?"

"Yeah...who is this?"

"I-I'm Angelicas friend. I'm calling because today Angelica said she was going to go to the movie theaters alone. I told her-"

"She said what?"

This child is the definition of trouble. My brothers are all looking at me but can't hear because i'm not on speaker.

"I tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen-"

"Shit..." I sight and rub my temple.

"What is it?" Elias asks me quietly. "Angelica left to the movie theaters"

In seconds all my brothers, even Armani, stand up and run downstairs. "Please don't tell her I told her or she won't trust me anymore!" The girl on the phone says.

"Thank you for telling us" I say and hang up.

Now we have to look for her.
