Chapter 941
When His Eyes Opened
Chelsea sneered in despair.
âI know. As of now, I can only let myself be hit and I canât fight back. If I did, everything I have left now
will be taken away by you.â
Chelseaâs words jolted Tammyâs memory. With Elliot and Jun lending their support for her, she was
never going to let Chelsea off the hook!
She rushed up to Chelsea and gave her such a fast, tight slap that Chelsea did not even have the time
to cover her ears! The slap caused Chelseaâs mask to fall off.
âYouâre a maggot, Chelsea! You donât want anyone to see your face, but thatâs exactly what Iâm going to
do! Youâve got it coming for you! Youâll die the most miserable of deaths!â Tammyâs anger did not seem
to decrease one bit and she raised her hand once more to vent out all the rage that she had in her.
Elliot watched coldly at one side without interfering. Jun held Tammy in his arms and turned her
around.
âTammy! Weâre in a police station! You canât beat her up here! Sheâll get her punishment for sure! And
besides, if anyoneâs getting their revenge on her, it should be me! Can you please listen to me?!â
Tammy pursed her lips as two streams of hot tears trickled down her face.
She did not want to talk about it again and so she changed the topic.
âWhy isnât Avery here?â
âI didnât allow her to come,â Elliot replied.
âLetâs head home. Sheâs worried about you.â Jun carried Tammy up and left the police station with
Elliot.
Chelsea covered her hot face with her hands and watched them leave.
âMs. Tierney, your mask.â Chelseaâs bodyguard handed her the mask.
Chelsea threw the mask away and said angrily, âThereâs no point wearing it! Iâm not going to wear it
anymore! Everyone already knows how ugly I am anyway!â
That evening, Elliot brought Tammy to Averyâs house. Avery hugged Tammy as soon as they saw each
other.
âI was too impulsive today, Avery,â Tammy said softly.
âYou were worried about me, werenât you? Iâll try my best to control myself in the futureâ¦â
Avery patted her on the back and said softly, âItâs alright. There are times when you need to vent your
feelings or else theyâll suffocate you.â
âYeah⦠Well, Iâve decided that Iâm going to see a psychiatrist.â Tammy let go of her and informed Avery
of her decision.
âOkay, Iâll come with you tomorrow.â
âItâs fine, Iâll bring Jun with me.â Tammy had calmed herself down considerably.
âIâm feeling a little tired right now, so itâs about time I go back home.â
âOkay, Rest well when youâre home and donât overthink.â Avery saw her out.
âYou need to let it out next time if thereâs something in your mind. Donât keep it to yourself and carry the
burdens alone.â
âOkay.â
After Jun brought Tammy back, Avery and Elliot inadvertently made eye contact.
âYou should leave. Haydenâs coming back soon!â Avery tried chasing him away.
âHeâll be back a little later tonight. Thereâs still time for me to have dinner before I leave.â
Avery was surprised at how he so shamelessly tried to get a free meal.
âYou canât seriously be that against the thought of letting me have a meal, right?â Elliot frowned.
âI skipped lunch just to pick Tammy up. I donât even know if I have the strength to walk out of your
courtyard gate If you donât let me eat somethingâ¦â
âOkay! Fine! Just stop talking and eat something!â Avery glared at him.
When he saw how reluctant she was, he said, âMaybe I should just leave.â
He then turned around and walked to the door. Avery immediately grabbed Elliotâs arm without
hesitation!
