Chapter 3098
When His Eyes Opened
When Hazel heard Lucas say the word âSienaâ, her eyes suddenly became hot.
Hazel: âDo you remember her?â
Lucas: âShe is my nanny, of course I remember her. Judging from your tone, you seem to know her
too.â
Hazel nodded: âIâve seen her before.â
Lucas: âJust met?â
Hazel hesitated for a moment, and added: âI also talked.â
Lucas: âYou are a bit like her. She always loves to work.â
Hazel couldnât help laughing out loud.
Lucas: âBut she is completely different from you. Your family must be in good condition, you always
laugh. But she is poor. She doesnât even have a decent dress. She wonât laugh as loudly as you.â
After hearing Lucasâs words, Hazelâs nose felt a little sore.
She couldnât even remember how she laughed before.
Hazel: âYou still remember her, she must be very touched.â
Lucas: âSheâs dead. Donât you know?â
Hazel: âMaybe she didnât die, she just went to another place.â
Lucas: âDeath is death. There is no need to comfort yourself.â
Hazel: âBoss, if she is not dead, will you continue to ask her to work for you?â
Lucas: âShe doesnât necessarily want to. She is very smart in her studies. If she is still alive, she will
have a better future.â
Hazel: âBoss, I remember she has an ugly scar on her face. If she didnât have such an ugly scar on her
face, would you like her?â
Lucas was stunned by this question.
He stared into Hazelâs eyes, fascinated.
Hazel lowered her head: âBoss, itâs fine if you donât want to answer. Iâm just asking casually.â
âWhy do you ask such a boring question?â Lucas frowned, âDo you have a grudge against her? Or
against me? Do you find it interesting to make fun of us both?â
After Hazel realized that she had made Lucas angry, she immediately apologized: âBoss, Iâm sorry. I
didnât mean to make fun of you. I will never ask such boring questions again.â
Lucas: âIâm going to the hospital to see my mother. Where did you come from? I donât want to see you
again.â
Hazel: âBoss, donât drive me away. I really know I was wrong. I also want to go to the hospital to see
your mother.â
Lucas frowned: âDo you know my mother?â
Hazel shook her head: âI donât know.â
Lucas: âYou donât know her, why did you go to see her?â
Hazel: âDidnât you get to know each other after going to see her? I heard that she was seriously ill, so I
wanted to visit her. Boss, I will never talk nonsense in front of your mother.â
Lucas: ââ¦â
Lucas had never seen such a familiar woman.
There were girls who pursued him in college before, but after he refused, no one else would stalk him.
It was the first time he saw someone like Hazel.
Lucas strode out the door.
Hazel followed behind him.
âBoss, do you think I buy fruits or flowers? Or both? What does your mother like to eat? What flowers
does she like?â Coming out of the house, Hazel asked Lucas.
Lucas came out of the unit building, took the car key, opened the car, and got in.
Without thinking, Hazel immediately followed in.
Lucas turned her head to look at her: âYou really want to go to the hospital with me?â
Hazel: âWell, Iâll go see your mother.â
Lucas: âWhat on earth do you want to do? Did I owe you anything before?â
