Chapter 1057
When His Eyes Opened
That man was tall, thin, and possessed graceful facial features along with a timid-looking aaze. He
was probably Adrian.
Avery took Adrianâs hand and walked to Elliot.
âAdrian, this is your big brother, Elliot,â Avery said to Adrian
Adrian was a little scared when he looked at Elliotâs stern and gloomy face, but he obediently said,
âHello, Big Br-â
âDonât call me that! Iâm not your big brother!â Elliot interrupted him immediately. At the same time, he
looked at Avery and said, âCome up here right now, Avery!â
Avery knew that Elliot would be angry because she brought Adrian there without discussing it with him in
advance.
A discussion would have been pointless since he would never agree to let her bring Adrian there.
âDonât be afraid. He looks fierce, but heâs actually a good person,â Avery reassured him and walked
upstairs.
The two of them went to the second floor and entered the master bedroom.
âDonât be mad, Elliot. Hear me out.â Avery walked up to him and looked gently at him. âI gave it some
thought and realized that the most dangerous place would be the safest place. His safety will almost
certainly be guaranteed if he lived at your place. Who would dare to kidnap him from your house, am I
right?â
Elliot was speechless.
âI know you donât like him, so if he lived in your house, you could always live at mine in the future. â Avery
seemed to have arranged everything already. âWeâre going to get married anyway, and weâll have to live
together.â
Elliot was speechless after listening to her arrangement.
He was thoroughly displeased because he felt that there was no good reason to let Adrian live at his
place!
âIf you donât want to live with me, I can always move in and live with you,â she continued. âIâll be with you
in the future and Iâll stand by your side no matter what happens.â
Outside the villa, Nathan was red with anger and felt as if his heart had gone up in flames!
He had tailed Averyâs car earlier and was surprised that she brought Adrian back to Elliotâs villa!
Bodyguards stood quard over the villa 24 hours a day, AYI0oF?1 the villa was equipped with the most
advanced security system! Breaking in was impossible, and the only way to get in was to be let in by
someone!
Just as he was scolding and preparing to get into the car, a loud thump was heard and someone had
punched him from behind!
The punch was so great that he immediately passed out!
Half an hour later, he was dragged to an unfamiliar room.
He was doused in a bucket of cold water and woke up with a start!
âGuess whoâs going to take your life, Nathan?!â a man teased. He was holding a sharp dagger in his
hand.
Nathanâs hands and feet were tied with ropes, and he struggled a few times before coming to the
shocking realization that he could not break free from them!
âIt has to be that goddamn Elliot! Refusing to acknowledge me was bad enough. Now heâs going to kill
me?â Nathan remembered that he had been knocked unconscious outside Elliotâs villa, so it was natural
for the latter to be the prime suspect.
âYou guessed it right! Haha! You said he wouldnât acknowledge you? Are you his father?â The man with
the knife grinned. âWhy would he kill you if you were his father?â
âHeâs pissed that I cost him his dignity! He can dream on if he wants to be the Fostersâ young master for
the rest of his life! If I die, my son will expose all of his scandals, so hurry up and tell him to let me go!â
Outside the room, Henry was listening to every single one of Nathanâs words.
Henryâs face was ashen and his fingers clenched tightly! It came as quite a shock.to hear that Elliot was
Nathanâs son!
