I am really sorry guys for updating so late , actually I am busy in a family marriage and I forget to tell you all about but I will promise too update as soon as possible now love you ❤️

Advika’s POV

I was still staring at the divorce papers, my hands trembling slightly, my breath uneven. My mind was a mess, trying to process everything when my phone buzzed again. The sound sent a jolt through me, and with hesitant fingers, I picked it up.

A new message.

"Secrets have a way of destroying people, Advika. Let’s talk before yours does the same to you. Meet me. Evening. Alone."

My grip on the phone tightened. My entire body stiffened as a wave of cold fear washed over me. My throat ran dry, and I swallowed hard, re-reading the message, hoping that somehow, I had misunderstood. But the words remained the same—clear, chilling, and threatening.

My secret. Raghav knew.

I clenched my jaw, forcing myself to take deep breaths, but it did nothing to calm the storm brewing inside me. This wasn’t just about me anymore—this was about Vivan. About my life with him. About everything I had ruined before I even realized how much I wanted it.

What did Raghav really know? Did he already tell Vivan? Was this just a game, or was this the beginning of my downfall?

I glanced at the clock. 4:27 PM.

Evening. I had barely any time to decide what to do. Should I go? Should I ignore it? Should I tell Vivan? No. That wasn’t an option. If he didn’t already know, then I couldn’t risk him finding out like this.

Panic clawed at my chest. I felt trapped—cornered in my own sins, in my own lies.

My fingers hovered over my phone screen, debating whether to respond. Should I ask where? Should I pretend I didn't see it? But deep down, I knew. He’d already chosen the place. The one place that still haunted me.

Where it all started.

My stomach twisted at the thought. The weight of my past and present were colliding, and I was standing in the middle, ready to be crushed.

I sucked in a deep breath and closed my eyes. I had no choice.

I had to face him.

And this time, I wasn’t sure if I’d come out of it unscathed.

I don't waste the time taking my phone and putting the gun in my purse i went outside , I know he wants to meet me alone but I can't take a risk , I know Vivan wants him for some reason though I don't want his plan to fail , I can't take a chance to loose him , I can't loose him at any cost.

Stepping out of my room I slowly try to sneak out of the house trying not to come in anyone's eyes , but my bad luck Sarah saw me and asked me about where I am going, I said that I have some importance work and I need to go it's really urgent , she was considered about my health and was telling me to tag her along, but I refused her and said my health is good and also told her to tell that I will be back soon.

I was going out when i turned back and asked Sarah ," Sarah wait , actually I want to ask you something, did anyone go into our room when we were in Paris?!"

She thought about it but then nodded negatively saying "Bhabhi , I don't know any problem"

I just shrugged it off and went outside. I just opened the car gate and started the car pulling it out of the driveway before anyone would see me.

The polished hotel lobby felt colder than usual, the flickering lights casting long shadows across the floor. My heart raced, and every nerve in my body seemed to hum with tension. Raghav’s message echoed in my mind, and with each step I took toward Room 302, it felt like the walls were closing in on me.

I approached the front desk, my hands trembling slightly as I spoke. “Room 302,” I asked quietly.

The receptionist barely glanced up. “Third floor, miss. Straight down the hall.”

I nodded, forcing a smile that felt like it might break at any moment, and headed toward the elevator. The doors slid shut, and for a brief moment, I was alone with my thoughts, my chest tightening. Was I making a mistake? I couldn’t ignore this, though. I had to face Raghav.

The elevator stopped, and I stepped onto the third floor, the air colder than I’d expected. The hall was eerily quiet, and as I approached the door to Room 302, I could feel the weight of my decision pressing on me.

But then, a figure emerged from the door. My breath caught in my throat.

Agam

I froze in place. Why was he here? And why had he just stepped out of this room?

I pressed myself against the wall, my heart racing as I tried to make sense of the situation. Agam is vivan's bestfriend. The bond they shared was strong, built on trust and mutual respect. I couldn’t understand why Agam would be here, especially with Raghav involved.

My eyes tracked his every move. He was unaware of my presence, walking down the hall with a calm, almost deliberate pace. His usual confident demeanor was absent; instead, he seemed… guarded, like he was hiding something.

A knot twisted in my stomach as I stood there, barely breathing. Agam loved Vivan.  He would never betray him, right? And yet, here he was, walking out of the room I was about to enter. My mind couldn’t piece it together.

What was going on? Was Agam working with Raghav? Was he part of whatever game Raghav was playing? I wanted to follow him, ask him what he was doing here, but I couldn’t. I had come this far, and I wasn’t turning back now.

As Agam disappeared around the corner, I hesitated, feeling like I was caught in a web I didn’t fully understand.

Shaking off the confusion, I took a deep breath and reached for the door handle. This was it.

Raghav was waiting. But so many questions now filled my mind—questions I wasn’t sure I wanted the answers to.

I turned the knob and stepped inside the room, determined to face whatever awaited me.

The moment I stepped inside Room 302, I felt the weight of my mission pressing down on me. This wasn’t just a confrontation. This was a hunt.

And Raghav was my next target.

He stood by the window, the city lights casting shadows across his face. He turned slowly, his sharp gaze locking onto mine. A smirk tugged at his lips as if he already knew why I was here.

“You finally made it,” he said, his voice laced with amusement.

I didn’t respond. My fingers curled around the cold metal in my pocket. One move. That was all it would take to end this. To finish what I had started.

But I couldn’t. Not yet.

Until I know what he wants.

Raghav studied me, his smirk never faltering. “You’re quieter than usual, Advika. Planning something?”

I met his gaze, my expression unreadable. “Not planning just thinking about how someone can invite their death on their own.”

He chuckled. “Ah, that’s what I like about you. Always so bold. But tell me… what is stopping for you to complete your revenge to kill me”

I pulled the gun from my coat, leveling it at his chest. “I am waiting to give you a painful death.”

Raghav didn’t flinch. He didn’t even look surprised. If anything, he looked amused.

“Really?” he mused. “Let me know your way then.”

Before I could react, he moved. Fast.  as his hand shot toward the gun, I twisted my body at the last second, sidestepping his attack. His fingers barely grazed the weapon before I brought my elbow down against his wrist with a sharp force. A curse slipped from his lips, but he didn’t stop.

Raghav was fast. But I was faster.

He tried again, this time aiming to grab my other arm. I let him think he had control for a split second before I spun, using my momentum to slam my knee into his ribs.

He staggered back, coughing. The surprise in his eyes was brief, but I caught it.

Still, he recovered quickly. Too quickly.

Raghav lunged again, his grip finally closing around my wrist, attempting to wrench the gun from my grasp. I refused to let go. Instead, I used his own strength against him, twisting my arm sharply and bringing my foot down on his shin.

It worked. His grip loosened just enough.

And in the next moment, I moved.

Using all my force, I shoved him back, spun the gun in my grasp, and pressed the cold barrel directly under his chin.

Raghav froze.

His breath was heavy, his body tense. For the first time, his smirk was gone.

I stepped closer, my voice low and steady. “Don’t ever try that again.”

A slow, shallow breath left him. Then, to my surprise, he laughed.

“Damn,” he murmured. “I really underestimated you.”

I didn’t lower the gun. “You did.”

His eyes flickered with something unreadable—curiosity. But I didn’t care.

I could end this right here. Right now.

But I wouldn’t. Not yet.

Until I know what he wants.

Raghav’s smirk deepened as if he could read my thoughts. “Ah… now I understand. You’re waiting. For him.”

I didn’t respond.

He took a step closer, lowering his voice. “Tell me, Advika. What happens when Vivan no longer needs me?”

I met his gaze, my own voice just as quiet, just as deadly.

“Then you die.”

Raghav chuckled, shaking his head. “You really are something else.”

The room was silent except for the sound of our heavy breathing. The gun in my grip was still warm from the struggle, my pulse hammering in my ears. I had won—this round, at least. But I wasn’t here to prove a point. I was here for answers.

I kept my stance firm, my fingers tightening around the gun as I stared him down. “Why did you call me here, Raghav?” My voice was sharp, demanding. “What the hell do you want?”

Raghav exhaled slowly, rolling his shoulders as if shaking off the fight. And then, just like that, the damn smirk returned.

“Straight to business, huh?” he mused, rubbing his jaw. “I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.”

I wasn’t in the mood for his games. My patience was already razor-thin.

I stepped closer, pressing the barrel of the gun lightly against his chest this time—not enough to kill, but enough to remind him exactly who had control. His smirk didn’t falter, but I saw the flicker of something behind his eyes.

“Answer me,” I snapped.

His lips twitched, amusement flickering in his gaze. “You know, I always wondered how far you’d go for revenge.” His tone was casual, too casual. “Seems like I finally have my answer.”

My breath hitched, but I didn’t let my expression falter. “How do you know?” I demanded, my grip on the gun steady. “How the hell did you find out?”

Raghav tilted his head, his dark eyes assessing me. “Come on, Advika. Did you really think your little secrets would stay buried forever?”

A chill ran down my spine, but I didn’t let it show.

He leaned in slightly, lowering his voice. “You were sloppy.”

I tensed.

“Not at first,” he admitted. “In the beginning, you played it well—innocent, grieving, lost. But then you got too close, too involved. And when emotions get in the way, people slip.”

I swallowed hard, anger and unease twisting inside me. I wasn’t sloppy. I was careful.

Raghav chuckled, reading my silence. “It wasn’t hard, really,” he continued. “You think I wouldn’t look about why Advika Sharma suddenly decided to get married , you were playing revenge revenge and suddenly you switched to play marriage marriage well something is fishy so I did my research, Advika.” He leaned in just a fraction. “And what did I find? Oh, it was very interesting.”

I pressed the gun harder against his chest. “If you think you can blackmail me—”

“Oh, relax,” he cut me off, rolling his eyes. “If I wanted to ruin you, I would’ve done it already.”

That made me pause.

He had the truth. He knew. And yet… he hadn’t told Vivan.

Why?

I narrowed my eyes. “Then what do you want?”

Raghav smirked, stepping back just enough to remove the pressure of the gun. “Now that,” he said, “is the real question, isn’t it?”

He walked over to the table, poured himself a glass of water, and took a slow sip before meeting my gaze again. “Tell me, Advika,” he said, tilting his head. “What would you do to protect Vivan?”

Setting the glass down, he finally met my gaze. "Tell me, Advika," he said, tilting his head slightly, "what would you do to protect Vivan?"

A cold shiver ran down my spine, but I refused to let him see it. I folded my arms, feigning indifference. "What’s that supposed to mean?"

He took another step closer, lowering his voice. "I need you to do something for me."

I let out a dry laugh. "Do you really think I’d do anything for you? Do you take me for a fool? What bullshit. I could kill you right now and be done with it. And still, you dare to blackmail me?"

His smirk widened, his eyes glinting with something dark, something dangerous.

"If you really believe that killing me will save Vivan," he said, "then you’re far more naive than I thought."

My jaw tightened. Something about his tone sent a ripple of unease through me. What was he trying to say?

He leaned in just a little, his next words sending a bolt of dread straight through my chest.

"I have other plans, Advika. Or rather, I have someone… someone you wouldn’t even think of."

I frowned, confusion mixing with growing panic. What the hell was he talking about?

Before I could demand an explanation, my mind went towards the moment where I had seen agam coming out of  his room , I don't want to think about it but all these things are making me to suspect agam now.

My blood ran cold.

My hands instinctively clenched at my sides as I fought to keep my face unreadable. No. This couldn’t be happening.

Raghav’s smirk grew, watching the way my entire body tensed. He was enjoying this. He was enjoying my panic.

Before I could react, my phone vibrated in my hand.

I tore my eyes away from Ansh, my heart racing as I glanced at the screen. A message from Sarah.

"Everyone is asking about you. Come quickly, they’re waiting."

I inhaled sharply. Damn it. Not now.

I looked up again, my mind spinning with possibilities. I wanted to end Raghav right here and now. But I couldn’t—not when i am alone with him in this room.

I clenched my jaw. I had no choice.

Taking one last glance at Raghav, I turned and walked out, forcing myself not to look back.

But I knew one thing for sure.

This wasn’t over. Not even close.

Reaching home, I forced a composed smile, hiding the storm raging inside me. I couldn’t let anyone suspect anything.

“I had some important work,” I said when Maa asked about my delay. She didn’t question further, just told me to eat dinner and rest.

Vivan still wasn’t home. A message from him popped up on my phone.

"Got some important work. Will be late. Don’t wait up, princess."

I sighed, exhaustion settling in. Tonight had been too much. My mind was tangled with thoughts of Raghav, his threats, and now Agam…

After dinner, I was heading toward our room when Sarah stopped me.

“Bhabhi, you were asking na, who went into your room?” she said, as if suddenly remembering something.

I frowned. “Yes?”

“I just remembered—I saw Agam bhai coming out of your room earlier.”

I froze. Agam?

She continued, unaware of my shock. “He said he needed some files from your room. That’s why he went in.” With that, she walked away, leaving me standing there, my breath caught in my throat.

My mind reeled.

Agam?

He really wanted any file ?

Or he is there to put that divorce paper in my room?

A strange uneasiness twisted in my gut. I wanted to brush it off—Agam loved Vivan. But then Raghav’s words echoed in my mind…

"I have someone on my side—someone no one would ever suspect."

Was this what he meant?

Could Agam be the one betraying Vivan?

The mere thought made my blood run cold.

I swallowed hard, trying to push away the rising panic. No. I needed proof. I couldn’t act on suspicion alone.

But one thing was clear.

Something was very, very wrong.
