Chapter 51

Jennie's POV

I'm starting to get impatient, we've been waiting for thirty minutes. Lisa and Mina haven't showed up yet.

"Impatient are we?" Jisoo said in a teasing manner when she noticed how I keep on glancing at my wrist watch.

"If you didn't ask Mina to come with us then maybe we're enjoying already right now." I said and rolled my eyes. "You even asked that jerk over there." I said pertaining to Mino who is currently talking to some random girl.

"That's Rosé's fault not mine!" Jisoo defended herself.

"But you didn't stop her, so basically, it's also your fault." I said.

"I thought Mino was courting you?" Confusion is visible at Rosé's voice.

"I told you I didn't agreed to that." I reminded her.

"But still, he's your date today! He should have been paying attention to you." Rosé blurted.

"Date? I don't have a date." I said and rolled my eyes again. "Just let him be. I don't even care about him anyway." I said.

"How I wish your eyes will get stuck whenever you do an eye roll." Jisoo said.

I was about to answer her back but my attention was instantly caught by Lisa who is looking so stunning in her white baggy shirt. Her beanie was perfect for her so as that specs. The only thing that doesn't match her outfit was that girl walking with her.

Don't get me wrong, Mina is a nice girl. Actually, I can't hate her but I can't also let her have Lisa not until Lisa tells me that she don't love me anymore while looking at my own eyes.

"You're drooling Jen." Jisoo whispered. I instantly wiped my mouth but I found no drool. I sent a deadly glare to Jisoo when I found nothing. She quickly hid behind Rosé knowing she would definitely get a beating from me.

"Traffic got us. Sorry." Mina said and smile brightly at us.

"No it's fine." Rosé said which made my eyebrows furrow.

"Yeah. Thirty minutes is not that long either." I said and rolled my eyes. Rose pinch me on my side, which made me yelp. I quickly faced her and she was glaring at me. I glare at her but she was not budging even a bit so I decided to give up instead of prolonging our staring contest.

"I'm just joking. It's really fine." I said and smiled.

My gaze went towards Lisa who is not looking at our direction. I followed where she is looking and I saw that Lisa was looking at Mino. I flicker my gaze back towards her and I noticed something unexplainable in her eyes.

"What is that guy doing over there?" I gulped when I heard how low her voice is.

But before one of us is able to give her an answer, Mino was already running towards our direction.

"Finally." He said and clasped his hands together. "We're complete!" He squealed.

"Yeah. Let's go inside. I'm excited to ride that roller coaster!" Jisoo exclaimed.

We were about to go towards the ticket booth when we heard Lisa's low and deep voice once again.

"What are you doing over there?" Lisa said, looking at Mino with those cold stare of her. Mino look at each one of us as if his trying to make sure that he is the one that Lisa is pertaining to.

"Who? Me?" Mino pointed to himself.

"Who else is here that is talking to some random girls?" Lisa said in a cold voice.

"Whoa. You need to chill, dude."

"I am chill. I'm just asking you."

"I'm just being friendly to them. They approached me, so I entertain them." Mino said in his most confident voice.

I saw how Lisa clenched her fist as she walk slowly towards Mino. I gasped when Lisa suddenly pulled Mino by the collar of his shirt.

"You're here because you are Jennie's date right? Then focus your whole fucking attention to her." Lisa sternly said and release Mino's collar forcefully which made him stumble and fall to the ground.

I saw how angry Mino is and how he wants to land a punch at Lisa after he stood up. But I was quick enough to go in between them. I spread my arms to stopped Mino from hurting Lisa, it wasn't really a good thing for him to come along with us.

"I think that it's best for you to leave." I said while looking at him with glary eyes. I heard how Mino scoffed in disbelief. Fortunately, he just left without saying anything. It was really a good thing that Mino didn't utter a thing. It might turn into a large commotion if this two get all fired up.

"Serves him right." Jisoo said and even throw punches in the air. "Let's go now. The roller coaster is waiting for me!" She added and happily skipped towards the ticket booth.

I can't stop myself from staring at Lisa. I suddenly remembered how my heart melt from those words that she said to Mino earlier. The way how she get worried about me sends butterflies into my stomach.

We went straight towards the roller coaster since Jisoo kept on saying that she wants to ride that so many times. I instantly rolled my eyes when I saw that the ride has only two seats each. And it was only me who has no partner since Jisoo will definitely sit beside Rosé.

I was about to back out and just wait for them below when Mina talked.

"I'm scared of heights. I'll just wait for you guys here instead." She said.

"Are you sure? You're going to miss the fun. And I'm here, you don't have to be afraid." Lisa said. I envy Mina, Lisa really cared so much about her. How I wish I was her.

"Yup. I'm fine. I really can't ride that thing." Mina said and took off Lisa's beanie.

Lisa was about to talk when Jisoo and Rosé pulls her away. I heard Mina's soft giggles as she watch how her date was being drag along.

"Enjoy your day, Jennie." Mina suddenly blurted which made me face her with creased eyebrows.

"What?" I asked.

Mina smiled at me and shake her head lightly. "Nothing." She said.

Why is this girl being weird?

I went towards my friends and left Mina. She totally creeped me out because of what she said earlier. I was too caught up by my thoughts and I almost didn't noticed that it was our turn already.

As soon as the roller coaster started to move, I suddenly felt nervous. My breathing became ragged as the ride rose up. I shut my eyes tightly and lowered my head to calm myself down.

"Are you okay?" Lisa asked. We were sitting together while Rosé and Jisoo are right in front of us. I just gave Lisa a nod as an answer because I don't think I can talk right now.

"Don't tell me you're scared Jennie Kim?" Lisa said. Even if I can't see her, I clearly knew that she's wearing that annoying smirk.

I felt something warm touches my hand which was Lisa's hand. I was expecting a smirking Lisa when I look at her but I saw a genuine smile instead which definitely made my heart thumped.

"I'm here, don't be nervous." She said and intertwined her hands on mine.

I wasn't able to react because the ride suddenly rush downwards. Lisa lifted up our hands and screamed while she was smiling widely. I realized that the ride has reached its climax making the screams of the people riding together with us went louder.

But I can't take my eyes of from this gorgeous girl beside me. I was mesmerized by her smile, her giggles. I never think that this time would come where I can enjoy a day like this with her again. And just by then, a certain question popped up right at the back of my mind.

"If I scream here how much I love you, will you be able to hear it?"

Third Person's POV

The ride has come to an end but Jennie's hand was still intertwined at Lisa's. Jennie wasn't able to shout her real feeling towards the latter because when she finally got the courage she needed, the ride has already ended. Jennie is very much disappointed by the fact the she let her chance slipped away.

Jisoo saw how Jennie and Lisa exited the ride with their hands still holding each other. She was about to tease them but Rosé was quick enough to stop her.

Lisa talk casually to Jennie about how enjoyable the ride was. Even her, didn't notice that she was still holding Jennie's hand. Jennie was eagerly listening at the latter as she enjoy the warmth of Lisa's touch.

"And when it go up-"Lisa stopped from what she was about to say when she raised that hand. She was about to motion how the roller coaster went upwards but she was caught off track. She quickly let go of Jennie's hand which sent a frown in the latter's face.

Lisa looked away and mumbled an apology, hiding her blushing cheeks which is she don't know if it was because of the embarrassment or something else.

The tall girl quickly walked towards the direction where she left her date. Jennie let out a disappointed sigh and stare at the hand that Lisa was just holding a while ago which is now, feels empty.

"What did I just saw?" Jisoo approached the dumbfounded Jennie.

"Did you guys just hold hands?" Rosé added and wiggled her eyebrows.

"She just did that so that I won't be nervous." Jennie answered back.

"You're still nervous even when we got off the ride? I doubt that Jennie Kim." Jisoo said.

Jennie hissed in annoyance and immediately smack Jisoo's head. The latter cried in pain and cursed the feline for doing such a thing.

"You deserve that." Rosé blurted. Jennie was about to give her a beating too but the blonde girl quickly hide behind Lisa who is now standing in front of her.

"Oh, where's Mina?" Jennie asked when she noticed that Lisa just come back alone.

"She got a call from her Mom telling her that there is an emergency." Lisa answered and put on her beanie.

"Too bad. Anyway, where shall we go next?" Rose said.

"Horror house!" Jisoo happily suggested.

Both Rosé and Jennie back off, they want to try all of the attractions here in the amusement park, except for that thing.

"Where do you think you're going?" Lisa said when she noticed how the duo slowly walk away from her. Rosé and Jennie let out an awkward smile before dashing off but Lisa was fast enough to hold both of them.

"Come on, Rosie. It would be fun!" Jisoo said and pull the struggling chipmunk towards the horror house.

Lisa looked at Jennie with an evil smile which made the feline gulp a couple of times.

"Let's go?" Lisa said and hold Jennie's wrist. Jennie shook her head vigorously.

"No Lisa, please!" She pleaded but Lisa made up her mind.

Jennie keeps on shouting, earning most of the attention from the people around them as Lisa pulled her.

Rosé and Jennie were on their trembling knees as they started to went inside the horror house. Rosé immediately cling into Jisoo's arm who is now all smile as she roamed her eyes around the scary things around them.

Jennie on the other hand, doesn't know how to overcome the fear that she's feeling right now. Lisa was just walking beside her casually but she was hesitating to cling to her. She's afraid that the latter might get uncomfortable so she decided to just keep her hands to herself. Until a group of running students passed by them that made the girls split up.

"Where's Jennie?" Jisoo asked when they finally regrouped.

Jennie was caught by the crowd and when the crowd finally disappeared, Jennie realize that she was all alone.

She never felt this so much fear for her entire life. She keeps on fidgeting her fingers as she slowly roam around the horror house. She shouted the names of her friends hoping that they will find her immediately.

"Yah! Where the fuck are you?!" Jennie shouted. Fear and annoyance are visible in her voice. Jennie keeps on shouting until a staff, dressed in as a scary clown popped up in front of her.

"Jennie." Lisa mumbled to herself when she heard a loud scream. The tall girl didn't think twice and run towards the direction where she heard the voice.

"Jennie!" Lisa shouted when she saw Jennie, sitting on the middle of the way while her hands are covering her ears.

Lisa hurriedly went towards her and crouched to match their current height. She held Jennie's shoulder which made the feline scream.

"Jennie, it's me." Lisa said but Jennie just keep on screaming, her eyes are shut tightly, she's afraid that if she open it, she will saw something scary again.

Lisa was on the verge of panicking, she don't know what to do to calm Jennie down. There's one thing that she knew that will definitely stop the feline but she was hesitating to do it. She took a couple of deep breathes as her mind and heart battle. She saw how afraid Jennie is and finally came up a decision. It was her fault why they ended up here anyway.

"Nini."

Lisa was right. Calling Jennie by that nickname will definitely calm Jennie's nerves. The feline stopped screaming and slowly opened her eyes. Jennie lifted up her head and Lisa saw tears streaming down her face which added more to her guilt.

"I'm here, Nini."

Jennie stare at Lisa in awe. She can't believe that what she heard was right. Her heart started to beat rapidly and more tears formed into her eyes. It's been a while since she heard that.

The feline threw herself towards Lisa for a hug. She buried her face into Lisa's neck and cried harder. Jennie don't know if she was crying out of joy or fear.

"Manoban!" A loud scream coming from Rosé was heard.

The blonde stomped her way towards Lisa who is now helping Jennie to stand up. Her long arms are wrapped around Jennie's shoulder while the feline was hugging her side.

"Ouch! What was that for?" Lisa yelped in pain when Rosé hit her arm.

"That's for not taking care of Jennie! Look ho- ahhh!" Rosé jumped out in fear when a fake skull suddenly landed in between them. Lisa felt Jennie flinched into her arm and her hug even went tighter.

"Let's get out of here." Jisoo said.

Jennie finally breathed in relief when they got out of the horror house. She swear to herself that she will never ever enter that attraction again.

"Are you okay?" Lisa asked Jennie.

"Yes." Jennie said weakly. "I'll just go to the restroom." She added.

"I'll go with you!" Jisoo said and followed the feline.

Lisa sighed as she watched Jennie walk away. She still feel guilty, if she just didn't let go of Jennie, then maybe she wouldn't feel such a horrible thing.

"What's with the face?" Rosé asked.

"Nothing. I'm just worried about Jennie." Lisa said.

"Guilty?"

"Very guilty. If you just seen her face, the way she cries, she scream, it..."

"It broke your heart?"

Lisa just nodded her head slowly.

"Tell me the truth Lisa, you still love her don't you?" Rosé asked. Lisa looked at the blonde, not knowing what she's going to answer. Lisa furrowed her eyebrows when something caught her eye.

"Is that Jisoo?" She said while looking something behind Rosé.

"Where?" Rosé asked. Lisa pointed where Jisoo is and the blonde went in rage when she saw Jisoo massaging some random girl's foot.

"KIM JISOO!" Rosé angrily said and stomped her way towards where Jisoo is.

"Where are they going?" Jennie asked. Lisa literally jumped in surprise. She didn't noticed that Jennie was already beside her since she was too busy staring at the angry chipmunk.

"You scared me!" Lisa said and held her chest. She heard some soft giggles coming from the feline which felt much like music to her ears. "And they left." Lisa added when couple disappeared from their sight.

"Shall we go home too?" Jennie asked.

"Why don't we just stay for a bit and enjoy the rest of the day?" Lisa suggested which made Jennie look to her. "I-if it's okay with you." She added.

"Why are you nervous? It sounds like you're asking me out on a date." Jennie said in a teasing manner.

"Well, it was only the two of us. Apparently, you can call this a date." Lisa answered. "And besides, I still owe you for what happened earlier." She added.

Jennie pursed her lips together to stop herself from smiling. "Okay." She replied shortly.

Lisa's face went bright and smile widely at the latter. "Great! Where do you want to go next?"

"Ice cream!" Jennie said happily.

After Jennie and Lisa went to buy an ice cream, Jennie pulled her towards a shooting game. Jennie found a cute big brown teddy bear which she badly wanted to get. Lisa stood behind Jennie and watched how determine the feline is. The tall girl can't help to giggle every time Jennie gets frustrated because she keeps on losing.

"Let me try." Lisa said and take Jennie's spot.

Jennie back away and watch Lisa few meters afar. She found Lisa very hot as she close on of her eyes and focus on the target. A smile slowly crept up on her lips.

"Hi gorgeous." A random teenager guy approached Jennie but the feline ignored her as she was busy watching her date.

"Are you alone? Want to have some fun with us?" The other guy said.

"Or you can at least give us your number." The third guy said and was about to touch Jennie.

"Fuck off." Jennie said and swatted the guy's hand away.

"Whoa. Don't be rude, we just want to be friends." The first guy said.

After two tries, Lisa finally won. She was very happy when she got the teddy bear that Jennie wants but when she look where her date is, she felt a sudden rage of anger.

"Jennie! Look, I got it!" Lisa said and walked towards Jennie, intentionally bumping the two guys that was blocking her view.

"Hey! Watch where you going." The guy said but Lisa ignored him.

"Let's go?" Lisa asked Jennie with all smile.

"Can't you see we are not yet done talking? Who the fuck are you?" The second guy said.

Lisa look at them with cold eyes which instantly sent fear into the three guys.

"I'm her girlfriend." Lisa said and held Jennie's waist to pull her much closer. The teenagers quickly apologized and dashed off.

"Tss. This kids. They were just all talk." Lisa said and faced Jennie who is currently looking at her with a smirk on her face. "What?" She asked.

"Nothing. Let's go, girlfriend." Jennie said.

Lisa's eyes widened when she finally realized what she had just said. She tried to defend herself but Jennie didn't even listen which eventually made her gave up.

Jennie pulled Lisa towards the Ferris wheel which is the last attraction that she wants to ride before they go home. The feline happiness keeps on adding up as they went higher. She was amused by the view that she can't see every day.

"You look so happy." Lisa said.

"I am!" Jennie replied excitedly. "Thank you, Lili."

Lisa froze because of two things. First, is because of that nickname and the second, is because of Jennie's gummy smile that made her fall in love with the latter. Rosé's voice suddenly echoed on Lisa's mind and now, she's asking herself the same thing.

"Do I still love you?"

"I had fun." Jennie said as they walk their way towards home.

"Me too." Lisa replied shortly.

Their walk towards home was indeed quiet. Jennie was having some battles inside her mind. She's thinking if this would be the right time to tell Lisa what she really feels but she don't want to ruin this special day.

Lisa was also having the same thing. She keeps on asking herself the same question a dozen of times but she can't get an answer.

"Lisa." Jennie said as they stopped right in front of their house. Lisa just look at her, waiting. "Never mind."

Lisa felt somewhat disappointed but she successfully hid it with a smile. She thought that Jennie was going to say something that will help her to get an answer.

"Let's go inside, it's getting cold out here." Lisa said.

When they finally entered the house, their eyes widened in surprise. They didn't expect that they're going to witness such a thing.

"What the fuck?" They said.
