Chapter 48

Third Person's POV

Jisoo nudged Rosé who almost can't take her eyes off the television. Her favorite Disney movie is currently playing so she just turned her head towards Jisoo's direction but left her eyes darted to the television, not wanting to miss a single scene.

The shorter girl called her once again but this time, by her full name. "Park Chaeyoung!" She yelled and hit her thigh which made the blonde jolted.

"What the heck Kim Jisoo?!" Rosé hissed in pain and rub the part where Jisoo just hit. Jisoo smiled apologetically. Rosé suddenly had her eyebrows furrowed when she saw Jisoo pouting her lips. She felt a blood rush into her cheeks.

"Y-yah. W-why are y-you doing that?" Rosé stuttered but Jisoo just kept on pouting her lips. Rosé let out an annoying sigh and said, "Fine. If this is what you want."

Rosé closed her eyes and leaned closer towards the shorter girl. Seeing what Rosé did made Jisoo confused

"Hold up!" Jisoo said when she notice that Rosé's face is almost an inch away from her. She held both of her arms which made the blonde shot her eyes wide opened and stare at the latter with her eyes full of confusion.

"What are you doing?" Jisoo asked Rosé whose lips are still pouted.

"W-what? I thought you want to..." Rosé said and pointed Jisoo and her lips in a back and forth manner.

"Oh." Jisoo said when she realized that Rosé misunderstood. She quickly forced the blonde to turn around which made Rosé gasped. "I was pointing at those two." Jisoo said and darted her eyes towards Lisa and Jennie who is sitting at the couch behind Rosé.

"And?" Rosé said.

"What's wrong with them?" Jisoo asked.

Rosé can't help but to let out a smirk when she saw what was happening between the two. Lisa was bugging Jennie since yesterday but Jennie kept on ignoring her.

"Come on Jen. Please." Lisa said in a pleading manner but Jennie didn't pay attention to her and continue scrolling into her phone. "Yah. Jennie Kim!" Lisa yelled in a high pitch voice.

Jennie quickly covered her ears and shot a glare towards the latter afterwards. "Can't you be quiet even just for a second?" She said and rolled her eyes.

"Tell me her name and I'll be quiet." Lisa said.

"I don't know her." Jennie said casually. Lisa scoffed when she heard Jennie's answer.

"You're with her for the whole fucking week, roaming around the university since the class started and you're telling that you don't know her name?!"

"Exactly." Jennie said which made Lisa groaned out in frustration.

Jennie bit the inside of her cheeks to prevent herself from laughing. She find it cute whenever Lisa is getting annoyed. Jennie has no plan on telling Lisa about Mina. She's afraid that one of this days, she might soon regret it. But knowing the tall girl, she will definitely find a way.

"Damn! You're so frustrating!" Lisa yelled as she gripped her hair with both of her hands out of frustration.

Rosé can't help but to let out a soft giggle as she keeps on watching the two. While Jisoo is still clueless on what was happening.

"Yah. What's happening? Why Lisa is acting like she's so annoyed?" Jisoo whispered. She was behind Rosé and her mouth is so close at the chipmunk's ears sending shivers throughout Rosé's body.

"Can you move a little bit?" Rosé said, trying her best not to stutter. When Jisoo moved her body away from her, she immediately fan herself using her hand.

"Yah! Jennie Kim!" Lisa was yelling as she stomped her way to follow the feline who just went upstairs hoping that she will escape Lisa's annoyance.

"Do you remember the girl that we saw with Jennie yesterday?" Rosé said with a smirk.

"The short haired one?" Jisoo said.

"Yes."

"The one with the bright smile?"

"Indeed."

"The cute one?"

"Yah!" Rosé slightly pushed Jisoo. "Why does it looks like you were the one interested in her?" Her voice has definitely a hint of annoyance.

"Sorry. Continue."

Rosé flipped her hair first in a sassy manner before continue talking. "So as what I am saying, that girl definitely caught our Lisa's eyes. So she kept on asking Jennie what's her name."

"Oh! Then Jennie don't want to tell her name because she's jealous!" Jisoo said and clapped excitedly.

"Exactly! Now, stop clapping you look like a seal." Rosé said and divert her eyes back towards the television but it didn't last for long when she felt a tap on her shoulder.

Rosé groaned once again and looked at the shorter girl unwillingly. "What now?" She said.

"Can I have that kiss now?" Jisoo said before pouting her lips. She closed her eyes and patiently waited for it but she got a flick on her forehead instead. Jisoo immediately shot her eyes wide open and glare at the blonde but Rosé chose to ignore the latter.

Lisa is currently staring at the clock intently, following every move of its hand. She also can't stop tapping her right foot as she bit my nails out of excitement. It was just a few minutes left before her class will end and a few minutes left before she go to Jennie's building.

This has been their routine since first day. She always fetch Jennie since their building was just beside each other while Rosé and Jisoo are waiting at them by the front gate.

But the thing is,

Lisa was not excited because she was dying to see Jennie. Yes, she is dying to see someone but it's not her. It was the girl who she still haven't got the name. And today, she made a promise to herself that she will get her name no matter what.

As soon as the clock struck twelve, Lisa quickly get her bag and run outside not minding the other students and her professor who were shocked with her sudden movement.

She run as fast as she can. She need to be there right before they leave or unless, she wouldn't see that cute girl. It happened many times, Lisa was just a few minutes late and Mina had already left.

Lisa took a deep breath when she finally reached her destination. She fixed her slightly disheveled hair which was caused by the running that she made. She also fixed her clothes so that she will look much presentable. And then, she held the strap of her backpack with both of her hands and sway back and forth, waiting for Mina's arrival.

There are a lot of thing running throughout Lisa's mind, specifically about how will she approach her. And just by thinking of it, made her nervous. And the nervousness that she's feeling gradually went higher when she heard the voices of several students coming out from the building.

Lisa quickly scanned for that certain girl and a smile crept upon her lips when she finally saw her target. For the tall girl, Mina look so stunning in that black shirt that she's wearing making Lisa wasn't able to move an inch. She scan her features and notice that her hair got a little bit longer.

"Is she wearing some extensions?" Lisa thought. "It suits her anyway."

The tall girl was too busy staring at the beauty that she almost didn't noticed that Mina almost passed by in front of her.

"Hey!" Lisa shouted in a panicking way to call her attention. She internally slap herself.

"Really? Is that all you can say Lisa?" She thought.

Lisa was too embarrassed to face her right now but it's too late, Mina is already staring back at her.

"Oh! I know you!" Mina said and flashed her gummy smile. That smile of hers reminds Lisa of her best friend which made her vigorously shake his head to drive her thoughts about that feline away.

"Wait. I'm not supposed to think of her." Lisa said to herself.

"You're Jennie's friend right? Are you waiting for her? She's still inside." Mina said.

"No. I mean, yes, I'm her friend but I'm not waiting for her." Lisa answered. She saw how Mina's eyebrows furrowed out of confusion. "Actually, I was waiting for you." she added.

"Me?" Mina became more confused when she heard that Lisa was waiting for her. "Why would you wait for me?" She added.

The tall girl awkwardly scratched her nape as she let out a shy smile. She pursed her lips together and think about a proper way to ask her name without her getting creeped out.

Jennie on the other hand had just got out from the building. She automatically look for Lisa and saw that her best friend was talking to someone. She narrowed her eyes to get a much clearer view of the girl that Lisa was talking to and she felt a sudden irking feeling when she realized that it was no other than Mina.

The feline was right. Lisa will do everything just to get her name and that mere fact really annoys her. She wants to tell Lisa loudly about what she feel but at the same time, she's afraid of rejection.

"Can I-"

"Lisa!" Jennie shouted in her loudest voice when she noticed that Lisa was about to ask her.

Lisa's breath hitched when she heard Jennie's voice. She automatically shut her eyes closed and gritted her teeth. She then turn around to face her and saw how Jennie happily waved. Jennie walk towards her with a smirk visible on her lips. Knowing that she was able to stop Lisa from getting what she wanted.

"Hey. Jennie." Lisa said sternly.

"Did you wait that long?" Jennie said in a cute voice. She spare a side glance at Mina first before wrapping her hand around Lisa's arm which almost made the latter freaked out.

"What are you doing?" Lisa whispered.

"I was asking you, idiot." Jennie rolled her eyes and let go of her arm when she saw that Mina has just left. Lisa followed where Jennie was staring and her shoulders instantly dropped when she saw that the girl that she's been dying to know her name was already meters apart from them.

"What's with the face?" Jennie said in a teasing manner. Lisa shot her a glare first before gripping her hair out of frustration.

"I was too close on getting her name! But you! You- ahh! Fuck it!" Lisa said. She then heard giggles coming from Jennie which only added fuel to the fire. "Let's just go home." Lisa said in a low, disappointed voice. She hung her head low and started to walk towards the front gate. Rosé and Jisoo must be impatient by now.

Jennie felt guilty when she saw how sad Lisa was. It wasn't her intention to make her feel that way.

"Lisa." Jennie called.

Lisa heard Jennie calling her name but she's not in the mood to deal with her teasing. She just want to go home and throw herself into her bed.

"Lisa."

"Imagine? I was really close getting her name. If I just didn't hesitate then maybe it's not only her name that I got. Maybe I also already have her number." Lisa mumbled to herself.

"YAH! LISA! Jennie screamed loudly and stomped her feet which made the latter paused. She can hear Lisa mumbling something and she was annoyed that the tall girl wasn't paying attention to her.

When Lisa turn around to face her, she saw a fuming Jennie. The feline got her arms crossed right in front of her chest while her lips are pouted. That sight of Jennie made Lisa blink for a few times.

"W-what?" Lisa almost cursed when she heard herself stuttered.

Jennie's reaction quickly changed. She started fidgeting her fingers and look straight into Lisa's eyes. "Are you mad?" She asked. Jennie took a one step closer towards the tall girl and held her hand which made the latter's eyes widened.

"Don't be mad. Please?" Jennie said in a cute voice. Lisa was too caught up seeing this type of Jennie with her own eyes. She can't deny it. Jennie's cuteness still have a huge effect on her. She even didn't notice that she nodded her head in agreement until she heard Jennie asking her to buy her an ice cream.

"Wait. And why should it be me to buy you an ice cream?" Lisa asked.

"You want to know her name right?"

"Will you tell me?"

Jennie quickly turned her back on me and said, "I might. If you buy me an ice cream."

The feline quickly walk away. She saw how Lisa's eyes twinkle when she said that she was going to tell the thing that she's been dying to know. She might burst out in tears if she continued to stare at Lisa's brown orbs.

Hearing Lisa's footsteps and her voice repeatedly calling her name, made Jennie to quicken up her pace. The feline clearly knew that if Lisa will caught up, she will start to ask her continuously and she will be able to see the bright smile that once, she was the reason.

Jennie was too busy getting away from the feline until a guy appeared right in front of her.

"Hey." The guy said.

"What do you want Mino?" She said.

"I just want to ask if when is our date?" He said in a way that he thinks he's cool which made Jennie scoffed.

"THAT will never happen." She said sternly.

"You'll never know, babe." He said in a husky voice.

"You're such a fast walker despite of those short legs." Lisa said when she finally caught up to Jennie. "Oh. Do you know him?" Lisa asked Jennie when she noticed Mino.

The feline pulled Lisa by her hand, wanting to get away from the presence of Mino as much as possible.

"Jen?" Lisa called the raging feline.

"What?!" Jennie said. She can't control her annoyance anymore. That Mino has been bothering her for the last few days. He keeps on trying to flirt with Jennie and he's been rejected every single time. But that guy is way too much stubborn.

Lisa didn't answer Jennie and she was just staring at their hands instead. Fear slowly risen up upon her. Afraid that the walls that she built for a long time will crashed down just by a single touch. Jennie noticed that Lisa was silently staring at their hands, so she quickly let go which made the latter breathed in relief.

"Sorry." Jennie mumbled.

"Are you okay? You seem very upset." Lisa said.

"I'm just annoyed. That guy has been bothering me."

"Do you know him?"

"Yup. Unfortunately, he's in my class."

"You want me to go back and punch his face? I'm pretty sure he won't bother you anymore if I let him taste my power punch." Lisa said and started doing some shadow boxing which made Jennie laugh.

"Why? You jealous?" Jennie internally scolded herself. She shouldn't have asked that.

Lisa stopped what her doing and casually said, "No."

That answer gave Jennie a heartache. She really shouldn't asked that. "I'm just messing with you." She lied, trying save her ass from an awkward situation.

"I know. But that guy still keep on bothering you, don't ever hesitate to ask me for help. My power punch is ready anytime." Lisa said and threw another punch in the air. Jennie just smiled, trying to hide the pain that she's feeling right now.

"Now, let's go. You still owe me something." Lisa added.
