Chapter 42

Lisa's POV

I was woken up with the loud sound coming from my alarm clock and even it is against my will, I forced myself to get out of bed. My eyes diverted to the chipmunk who is sleeping soundly at the other side of my bed. A naughty idea popped up in my mind. I took a deep breath and shouted her name at the top of my lungs. Luckily I've requested my room to be sound proofed, in that way I won't be able to wake Jennie and Jisoo up.

"Chipmunk!" I shouted. Rosé quickly sat on the bed, her hair is disheveled and you can see at her face how shock she is.

"What? What is it? Is there something happened?" She was panicking. Her eyes fixed on me and she quickly went in front of me and held both of my shoulders.

"Is there something happened to you? Do you have nightmares again?" She asked in a worried way. I felt guilty on what I just did by seeing how she reacted. I pursed my lips together, trying my best not to laugh.

"Good morning!" I said and grinned widely. Rosé took the clock to know what time is it. It was just 4:30 in the morning. Her hands gripped tightly at the alarm clock and looked at me with a deadly look. I gulped a few and slowly took my way towards the door.

"I'll go and make some breakfast." I said before dashing my way through the door.

"Lalisa!" She yelled. I heard a crashing sound after I closed the door of my room. It must be the clock. Or maybe it's just my imagination. I wonder what would happen to me if I didn't came out quickly.

I went downstairs and started to prepare for our breakfast. I sent Rosé a text message telling to wake the other two since I knew how much time they need to prepare. We were having a good time last night and it was late for them to go home. So they decided to just sleep here, besides half of their things are with them since they stay here for days.

I was about to get an apron when I suddenly heard a rushing footsteps.

"Jennie? What's with the rush?" I asked.

"You? You're going to cook?" She said. I almost forgot, Rosé was the only one who tasted my cooking. I slowly nodded which made her shock in horror.

"No. You might burn the kitchen. Go upstairs and fix your things." She said authoritatively and grabbed the apron from my hand. I was left with no other choice but to go back and face the pissed chipmunk upstairs.

"But I already knew how to cook." I whispered.

"What? Are you saying something?" Jennie asked.

"No. Nothing." I said and let out a small smile before going upstairs.

When I got back to my room, Rosé wasn't there anymore. I wondered where that chipmunk went. I went towards my closet and grabbed some clothes that I needed for the trip. While I was busy fixing my things, something crossed my mind.

I think I heard some random noises at the room where Jisoo and Jennie was staying. I furrowed my eyebrows, trying to think what would be the source of that noises.

"If Jennie rushed downstairs, it means Jisoo was left on that room. Rosé wasn't here at my room either." I was tapping my cheeks as I tried to think deeper.

"Oh shit..." I muttered to myself and quickly shook my head trying to remove the dirty thoughts that I'm thinking. I shove my clothes right into my bag and took a quick shower. I need something to wash away my sin.

I went downstairs and saw a bunch of food lying down the table. My mouth watered at the sight of those delicious foods. I was about to get an egg roll when Jennie quickly tapped my hand away.

"They're not here yet." She reminded. I hissed in pain and take a seat. My eyes automatically scanned Jennie as we wait patiently for the two to come down. She was just wearing a plain white shirt and a black pants but her beauty still stands out with those simple clothes.

After a few more minutes, I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. My gaze went back and forth form Rosé to Jisoo as I remembered those weird noises that I heard. I decided to shrug it off since I don't want to creeped them out, but it was too late.

"What's with that stare monkey?" Jisoo asked.

"Nothing. I was just wondering what the two of you took so long to went down. I'm hungry and Jennie doesn't let me eat unless you guys are already here." I said.

"I'm hungry too. Let's now eat!" Rosé said enthusiastically.

The two took their seat but I can't still stop myself from thinking about those noises.

"Stop eyeing me suspiciously and eat up!" Rosé said.

"Damn. My effort to wake up early was wasted." I muttered to myself after letting out a yawn. But I guess I should be glad since I tasted again Jennie's cooking.

"Okay. I hope there's no one who will be late." Ms. Moonbyul said. "May I have your attention first?" She added.

The loud noises coming from the students who are nonstop talking to their friends suddenly went down. All of us are listening to her intently.

"Group yourselves into two." Ms. Moonbyul said. I furrowed my eyebrows when I heard her instruction. Looks like we're about to play a game. "Make sure that if you're a girl, your partner will also be a girl." She added.

I look to my right side and saw Jisoo quickly pulled Rosé closer to her. Obviously, she wants to be partnered with that chipmunk. My eyes then darted towards Nayeon, I saw someone approaching her and how her cheeks turn into pink.

"Yo Hanbin! You're my partner okay?" Sehun said and dragged Hanbin away. Poor guy, doesn't even had the chance to protest.

"Is everyone got a partner already?" Ms. Moonbyul reminded.

I roamed my eyes and saw that everyone has already their own partner, well except for one.

"I guess we're the only one left." Jennie said shyly.

"Y-yeah." I said and walk closer to her.

"So, technically, your partners will be your roommates. Let's go and have fun!" She said.

I looked at Jennie and saw how she eyed me nervously. I didn't expect that this will happened. I wonder what's gotten into our teacher's mind. We should make a group of four instead!

Being roommates with Jennie Kim for a week is a fucking torture.

An awkward silence filled the room that we're going to stay. Jennie was fidgeting her fingers while me, I pretend that I was busy unpacking. I didn't even know how many times I put my clothes back and forth inside my bag.

"Is this okay with you?" Jennie asked in a shaky voice.

"W-what?"

"I can ask Rosé to switch with me if you want." I saw how she forced her lips to curve a smile. I felt a sudden pang of guilt.

"No. I'm okay. This is fine."

"Are you sure? I mean, I don't want you to experience this kind of awkwardness every day."

"Then let's not make it awkward." I took her hand and I almost laugh when she flinched. "Come on. Let's take a stroll."

I took Jennie out for a lunch and after that we went for a walk and enjoy the beauty of Jeju together. I don't even know what's gotten into me when I grabbed her. I was lucky that she did not hit me or anything and just let me drag her away.

It was past dinner time when we came back to our room. I was quietly sitting on my bed, thinking about the fun that we had earlier. I admit, I really miss hanging out with her. Maybe this tour will be the fresh start for the both of us.

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the sound of the shower stopped. The door swung open and revealed Jennie wearing an oversized shirt and a very short shorts. My throat went dry as my eyes glued to her milky thighs.

"My eyes are up here." I heard Jennie said while wearing a teasing smirk.

"I-I'm sorry." I said and quickly look away.

I turned to the other side of the bed and wrapped a blanket all the way to my head, covering my face that is now a blushing mess I'm sure. I heard a heavenly giggle coming from her. I was in luck that we have our own bed or else this whole night will be a freaking torture for me.

"Good night Lisa." I heard her say before switching the lights off.

"Good night Jennie."

Third Person's POV

It was their third day at Jeju. Jennie and Lisa seems to be slowly getting used to each other's presence again. They were inseparable since the first day of the tour. Rosé can't help to worry about her friend getting hurt but Jisoo reassured to her that everything will be fine and those two also needed some time to reconcile.

The class were heading towards the famous maze park here in Jeju. They were riding on a bus and of course, their sitting with their partners. That arrangement can't helped Hanbin but to feel annoyed. It's been three days since he last talked to his lover and he really misses the girl. Hanbin made up his mind, he needs to have some quality time with Jennie today.

Jennie automatically clung into Lisa's arm when they got off the bus. She knew that she should not be doing this kind of thing because Lisa have special feelings for her. But she needs to find out something and she needs to know what it is before this tour ends.

"Hey Jennie." Hanbin called when he finally found the feline.

Lisa's sweet smile faltered and so as Jennie. The feline's breath hitched as she slowly removed her hands at Lisa's arm.

"It's been three days since we last talked." He pouted before facing Lisa. "Can I borrow her for today?" He asked.

Lisa looked down at Jennie who is now waiting for her answer. Her eyes looks like it was asking for her approval. The blonde know that she can't say no. Jennie is not hers at the first place. Lisa nodded against her will and handed Jennie over. Jennie took a one last glance at the blonde before coming with Hanbin.

"Ouch."

Lisa turned around and saw Nayeon sipping a drink while watching them.

"Why did you let him take her?" She asked.

"She's not mine, silly." Lisa said in a sad tone.

"Then let's just explore together since my roommate left me out of the blue." Nayeon said and rolled her eye in annoyance which made Lisa chuckled.

Nayeon dragged Lisa towards the mazes. It took them some time to finish the two, but fun is written all over their faces so it's worth it. They're already at the last, and hardest maze. They've been roaming around for twenty minutes and the bunny is slowly getting tired.

"Yah. How much longer do- ouch." She bumped into Lisa who suddenly stopped her tracks. "Yah! Why did you stop?" She said and smack Lisa's arm but the blonde didn't budge. She's looking at something, and Nayeon being a curious bunny, decided to follow where Lisa is looking at.

Lisa felt her world spin, and everything around her disappear. Her eyes were fixed on a certain couple who were standing few meters away from where she is. Her fist clenched tightly, and her eyes were fill with rage.

"Lisa-" Nayeon wasn't able to continue what she's about to say because the blonde suddenly pulled her. And in a blink of an eye, they finished the maze. Lisa stopped at the exit, her breath is ragged.

"Lisa." The bunny called her again wearing a worried look.

"Not now. I want to be alone. I'm sorry." She said and stormed away. She can hear Nayeon repeatedly calling out her name but she's too broken to look back. She need some time alone.

Lisa went to the most isolated place where the beach can be seen. How ironic it is that every time she's experiencing this kind of pain she can always find herself staring at the beach. The only difference today is, there is no Rosé that will give the comfort that she's needs.

"Why the fuck did I forget about that shit?" Lisa muttered to herself.

"This is the perfect day, the perfect place to that." She added.

"I shouldn't have let my guard down. I just made myself a fool." She continued talking to herself and let out a bitter laugh while tears are slowly streaming down her eyes.

The pain that she experience back when Jennie shows how much she hated her is incomparable on how much pain she's feeling right now. She silently pray that Rosé will suddenly show up like what she always do and hug her while telling that everything will be fine.

But no, she was alone.

The sound of the waves crashing to the shore are her only companion. No Rosé, No Jisoo, no one. Just herself.

Lisa screamed her pain and anger loudly. She screamed and screamed until her throat gets tired. She fell right into her knees, tears still streaming down her face. She lowered her head down, and faint sobs can be heard from the blonde.

The reason why she's been hurting like this? Simple.

She saw Jennie, kissing Hanbin.
