Chapter 34

Third Person's POV

Jennie has been watching Lisa since she walk away from her. She saw how the bartender became the flirty towards the blonde and how Lisa turned her down unconsciously. A small smile formed in her lips without knowing it.

Some of Jennie's classmate gather around her making her to lose Lisa from her sight. They were all greeting her a happy birthday. Jennie had no choice but to thank each of them. The small talks that they're having are making the feline slightly annoyed. So, she decided to bid goodbye and went back to the table where her friends are.

Jennie need to pass by the balcony on her way back. She was shocked and paused her tracks as she noticed something there. She quietly went nearer towards that place and her eyes grew wide, her mouth agape.

The feline witnessed how Lisa and Nayeon devouring each other lips. Jennie furrowed her eyebrows as she watched the sweet scene that the couple was having. A lump grew right on her throat that made her gulped. There's some tingling sensation that occurred right on her chest that she don't know how to explain.

"I thought she's in love with me. Why the hell is she kissing that bunny?" Jennie said to herself full of annoyance.

"You pushed her away remember." Someone said coming from behind her which made the feline jumped in surprise.

"Damn Jisoo. You scared me!" Jennie said as she held her chest and try to breathe normally. Jisoo chuckled but it didn't last. Her face became serious as her eyes darted towards the couple.

"Why are you so annoyed? Isn't this what you want? Lisa's trying to forget you." Jisoo said.

Even Jennie can't explain to herself why is she feeling like this. It's true that this is what she wants but why is there a part of her that is objecting? When Jisoo heard nothing from the feline, she slowly diverted her eyes towards her. Jisoo found Jennie looking at the floor with eyes full of confusion. A smirk form right into her lips before talking.

"Are you jealous?" Jisoo said which made Jennie lifted up her head and look at Jisoo full of disgust. That look made Jisoo burst out in laughter which added to Jennie's annoyance. The feline stomped her way out ignoring the teasing grin of the latter.

"That's ridiculous. Why would I be jealous?" Jennie muttered to herself. But she can't shake the fact the she did feel something. When Jennie reached their table, she quickly took Hanbin's drink and emptied it in one shot.

All of them look at Jennie with wide eyes. The feline crossed her arms and flopped herself beside Hanbin. The guy look at her with worried eyes but she just smiled at him. A smile that everyone knew is not fake.

"What happened?" Rosѐ whispered to Jisoo when she saw that the girl was wearing a mischievous smirk.

"They happened." Jisoo said and look somewhere. Rosѐ followed her eyes and ended up on Lisa and Nayeon walking side by side. Lisa's coat was now wrapped at Nayeon's shoulder. They are smiling to each other as they walk their way towards the table.

"Are they..." Rosѐ whispered again to Jisoo but the latter gave her an "I don't know look".

"Haven't you notice something odd?" Jisoo said.

But before Rosѐ was able to search for something, Sehun greeted a couple with a tease.

"Are you done making out?" Sehun said and wiggled his eyebrows.

Nayeon became a blushing mess and hide behind Lisa. The blonde threw out a glare to him before smacking his head that cause Sehun to groan in pain. That scene cause them to burst out in laughter except for one person, Jennie.

Jennie rolled her eyes and scoffed before taking another shot of alcohol. That move didn't escape Rosѐ's observant eyes that leads her to the swollen lips of the couple. Rosѐ gasped which made Jisoo grinned widely.

"So Jennie saw all of that?" Rosѐ whispered. Jisoo nodded vigorously.

"So that's why she's been acting like that, is she jealous?" Rosѐ asked once again.

"Jennie said she's not. But her reaction tells it all." Jisoo said.

"Is there something that we can do?"

"Nah. Just let Jennie realize what she really feels for Lisa on her own."

Sehun gave Lisa another glass of alcohol but the blonde quickly refuses it. Telling that she still needs to drive Nayeon home. The girl turned into a blushing mess again and smile shyly as she put some strands of hair behind her ears.

Hanbin noticed that Jennie wasn't in her usual self so he decided to do everything to lift up the mood of the feline. But all he got from telling funny stories to Jennie was a timid smile and a small nod.

Jennie can't get her eyes off from Lisa who was smiling brightly as she was talking to her date. Her gripped on the glass was getting tighter every time that she would hear Lisa laugh. Jennie can't explain if it was the effect of the alcohol but she's feeling envious and annoyed to the bunny at the same time. She took another sip from her drink, still not diverting away her dagger look to the blonde.

Lisa felt chills run down through her spine. At the corner of her eyes, she saw the reason why is she feeling those sensations. Her mind starts to wonder why Jennie's eyes seems to show something that she wasn't sure about.

Hearing Nayeon's invitation to dance made Lisa's attention quickly diverted from the feline. She was about to accept it but when she heard that Jennie and Hanbin were also planning to go to the dance floor, she politely decline the bunny's offer. Lisa, rejecting her, made Nayeon pouted so Rosѐ grab her instead so that the bunny wouldn't feel so bad. Sehun joined them as well.

"Why?" Jisoo asked. Lisa looked at her, and rest her arms at the sofa that they're been seating.

"What do you mean?" Lisa asked.

"Why did you reject Nayeon? We all know that you love dancing more than anyone else."

"I'm just not in the mood."

"Is that so? Or maybe because Jennie's right there." Jisoo said and pointed the couple using her eyes. Lisa followed where Jisoo was looking and regret suddenly filled her up.

The song was a little bit sexy and seeing how Jennie wave her hips made Lisa gulped a lump that's growing right on her throat. This is the first time that she saw her best friend dance. But what really caught her off guard is the fact that Jennie was looking at her intently while doing those sexy moves.

Lisa quickly pulled her eyes away from the feline. Afraid that she might not stop herself and pull that kitten away from the dance floor. The blonde took the glass of alcohol and emptied it without a pause. Seeing how Lisa react made Jisoo laugh.

Jisoo was saved from Lisa's hitting when Nayeon walk towards them hazily. The blonde quickly went towards her and when she's about to fall down, Lisa caught her. Nayeon lifted her head up and smiled at Lisa. You can tell that she already had enough alcohol.

"You should take her home, she had enough." Jisoo said and stood up to go to Rosѐ who is been having her time of her life at the dance floor.

"Yeah right. Just tell them that we're going to head out first." Lisa said. Jisoo just nodded and walk away from them.

When Lisa arrived home, she took off her coat and it landed right on the sofa. She went straight towards the kitchen and start to rummage through the cabinets to search something. When she finally found what she's been looking for, a weak smile crept right into her lips.

"Perfect." Lisa said as she stared at the bottle of whiskey that she's holding. She didn't have the chance to enjoy her poison back at the bar since she still has to drive home.

Lisa went upstairs and decided to continue enjoying her drink at the balcony. Drinking right under the sky full of stars while the night breeze hitting your skin is what make Lisa relaxed.

"Now, a cigarette would make it perfect." Lisa said as she took a stick and lit it up.

Few minutes later, Lisa heard a car arriving. The car stopped revealing Jisoo and Rosѐ, the blonde was just quietly watching them and what surprised her is when Jisoo planted a kiss on Rosѐ's cheek before leaving.

Lisa's eyes narrowed towards the two who didn't notice that someone was watching them quietly. The blonde don't want to assume things before hearing what the truth is. The two seems to be really close in her eyes.

Shock was evident when Rosѐ saw Lisa at the balcony looking at her direction. Her eyes mirrored nervousness as she met those teasing look of the blonde. The chipmunk flinched a little when she felt her phone vibrating right on her pocket. It was Lisa who is calling her. She looked back once again and saw how Lisa smirk at her.

"H-hey." Rosѐ said and smiled awkwardly which made the latter on the other line chuckle.

"Hi. Want to come over?" Lisa said.

"What would I get if I would?"

"Hmm. A drink with the most handsome girl in the world?" Lisa said which made Rosѐ rolled her eyes.

"The confidence monkey. Really." Rosѐ replied and Lisa just chuckled.

"So, are you coming?"

"Do you have anything rather than whiskey?"

"Just get something right on the kitchen. I think I saw some vodka there."

"Okay. One more thing."

"What?"

"Threw that thing that you're holding."

Lisa looked at the cigarette that is between her fingers. She then looked back to the chipmunk who is looking at her seriously. She giggled a bit and shook her head before throwing the cigarette into the bin at the corner.

Lisa then showed her hands to the chipmunk. Rosѐ smiled and ended the call and went inside to her neighbor's house. As what Lisa said earlier, she took a bottle of vodka and a glass before walking her way towards where Lisa is.

"You haven't had enough?" Rosѐ said and walked beside Lisa who is leaning at the veranda.

"I wasn't able to enjoy earlier. Being a driver sucks." Lisa said and they both chuckled. The blonde lifted her glass up for a toast which the latter gladly accepted.

Few minutes of silence filled the space between them until Lisa decided to break it.

"I kissed Nayeon." Lisa said and took another sip from her whiskey.

"I know." Rosѐ replied that make Lisa almost choke.

"H-How-"

"You both came with swollen lips, what else would I think?"

"Is that so?"

"Yup. So, how does it feel?"

"Nothing more like when Jennie and I did that."

"What are you going to do now?"

"I'm about to follow Jisoo's advice."

"So you'll date Nayeon?"

"Apparently."

"Just a reminder Lisa, you would not only hurt her but yourself also."

"I know. But there's nothing wrong about diverting my attention to someone else right? But who knows? Maybe I can really fell for her as time goes by."

"Fine. But you have only until the tour end. Got it? If it's still Jennie, you should stop dating Nayeon and move on by yourself."

"Now you sound like my mom."

"I don't want you to end up hurting a person who loves you that much. I bet you knew what it feels right?"

"Yes mom." Lisa lazily said and Rosѐ nudged her slightly making the both of them giggle.

"Oh, I have something to ask you." Lisa said earning a confuse look from the latter.

"What is it?"

"There's something odd between you and Jisoo. Is there something you might want to tell me?"

The chipmunk eyes grew wide and cleared her throat before responding.

"You know what? You drank too much whiskey. We need to sleep it's getting late."

"But I saw how-"

"We. Need. To. Sleep." Rosѐ said and pushed the blonde inside ignoring the annoying whine of hers.
