CHAPTER 37

Sarah's POV.

So hold on your head up gorgeous, people would kill to see you fall.

Content with the sleep and torn between sleeping more and eating I opened my eyes a little. The sun was almost rising above sending the little rays of sunshine that was blinding me partially.

I groan inwardly attempting to sit. Beside me, Zack was sleeping like a baby cuddling the fluffy pillow as my legs were resting on his. I bring back my legs attempting to not make noise. Sighing heavily I got out of the bed walking into the bathroom for brushing. I throw my hair in a messy bun and freshen up as quickly as possibly. I was hungry after all and Zack was still sleeping.

Sleepyhead.

"Hey, I am going down for breakfast." He only groaned in return.

See he is a sleepyhead.

The moment I entered the kitchen I was in paradise. There was Cassie making pancakes. My mouth was watering already.

"Good morning Cassie, Lily." I chirped happily.

"Good morning." They say together.

"What's for the breakfast?"

"Lily's special pancakes." Cassie grins.

"I was just teaching Cassie how to make my special pancakes. After all, the legacy should move on." Lily grins slyly.

"Oh, Lily! You are too good." I moan as I take the first bite of my delicious pancake.

"That's why she is my mother." Derek, Zack's dad, said sitting on the dining table.

Lily grinned at her son.

"What do we have here?" I spoke loudly as Garrett and Samantha come hand in hand.

I had a sly smirk across my lips.

"Cozy huh? Did you both not sleep?" I gaped at them dramatically as they sat beside me trying to hold my laughter behind my facade.

"Uh.." Samantha stuttered while Garrett was beet red. Oh boy.

"Hello, amigos." Tristee came in with Cameron followed by Luna and John. By now my sleep had worn off and I was on a full alert mode.

"Looks like our couples had no sleep. What do you say, Cassie?" I snickered as the girls turned red while the boys had a smirk plastered to their face. TYPICAL.

"What's for the breakfast?" It took a while for Tristee to ask as she tried to hide her blush and by then even my sleepyhead had walked in giving me a charming smile.

And now it was everyone's turn to smirk at me as Zack walked in his sleep glory.

Oh dear lord.

I knew I was in trouble after I called him my sleepyhead.

"It's Lily's special today!" The boys fist-pumped while the girls looked happy. The common thing was everyone moaning on the taste.

Thank you, Lily, you saved my ass.

Yeah, I couldn't deal with the Match-making right now. Not at least when I had the insides of me flip every time Zack and my skin came in contact and certainly not when he gives me his million-dollar smile.

With the evening rolling by I decided to get early a little early and likewise the girls thought it's going to be good to dress up together. So the ladies barged in my room like bosses and tossed Zack out of the room.

Poor Zack.

Indeed.

His phone had no battery so it was on the nightstand and so was mine.

Therefore the poor soul was locked outside of the room without his phone.

"Luna connect the best of your songs through the speaker!" I yell as I came out of the bathroom.

"Atta girl." She yelled back and I grinned at the girls. Our dresses lay on the bed as I did hair for all the girls. I pulled Luna's hair in a half braid while keeping her medium length hair in her normal beach waves. Also, I french braided Samantha's hair all the way down keeping the loose ends out and curling it in end and then I curled Tristee's blonde hair in curls twisting and pining the small left section.

All of it with some music.

And me with probably swaying my hips.

My hair was done by Luna. She pulled her best hairstyle in my hair by twisting the sides of my hair and letting the rest of my long hair fall back in the natural waves. I was not much of the dressing up types.

They did each other's makeup while I minimally did my eye and the rest of it was teamwork.

I was a pain in the ass okay.

I couldn't sit still whatsoever.

Hence I preferred doing my makeup.

I swayed my hips like a pro and did self turns and then swayed some more hips.

By now the girls had changed and went back to their rooms.

"Nice moves baby girl." Zack leaned on the door frame and looked umm-

Very sexy.

Sexiest of al-

Don't eye rape your best friend and don't move your hips, a voice inside me shouted.

Gee, thanks conscience.

I immediately abort the swaying of the hip that I was doing and turned around picked up my dress and bolted straight to the bathroom.

Oh boy.

This was not new when he saw me dancing. The newest priority were the butterflies.

Flipping in and out.

Just why?

I changed quickly in the dress that Zack and I bought yesterday.

I looked like I am falling in love with myself.

Yep, I looked that beautiful.

When I stepped out of the bathroom all decked up, Zack's jaw dropped down.

Totally looking beautiful.

"I didn't know you could look this beautiful!" He commented as I narrowed my eyes.

"You think I am not beautiful?"

"Uh well no. I meant you look very beautiful tonight." That eased the creases on my forehead but it came back as quickly as it went.

In 4 long strides, Zack reached towards me wrapping his hands around me and kissing my cheek.

"You're gorgeous, baby girl." He whispered in my ear breathing in my hair while his chin rested on my bare shoulder and just like that a shiver ran down my enter body.

"You look handsome too." I turned around and held the position wrapping my hands around his neck.

Flash. Flash. Flash.

Pearson cousins stood there with a grin and their insanely expensive phones flashing at us.

I tried to jump out of his hold but Zack wasn't ready for it. I unwrapped my hands but his were glued to my body.

"Sent." Garrett squealed.

"Who did you send?" I asked puzzled, attending my now buzzing phone.

Goofball: Don't y'all look the hottest couple 😬😬

Goofball: Are you just best friends now?

"Wait nevermind don't answer." I held up my hand refraining him to speak as he opened his mouth.

I shoved my phone at Zack's face which only made him laugh more.

Sarah: Go to sleep.

Goofball: Fine gimme the details later, princess 😉

Zack's laugh was contagious. Seeing him laugh made me smile and the other three Pearsons were practically staring at how I was smiling while Zack laughed and still kept his hand wrapped around my waist.

For once, we actually looked like we were having a thing going on.

"It's photo time." The girls paraded in yelling.

Ladies and gentlemen, that is how we captured numerous photos on my phone until Cassie and Derek called for us.
