Happy birthday to my baby Rue. You're the only soul I need in this weird journey Im on.

Thank you for being my muse.

As usual, this chapter is for you. 💙

Sorry about updating literally a year later for anyone waiting. The only motivation I have now to write is her birthday, really sorry guys.

Here's the last part of the second bonus accident.

Jungkook was holding Jimin's hand.

Jungkook was holding Jimin's hand, and Jimin was dying inside, because even though it was a few hours before he had to leave, all they were doing was sit on the couch, and hold hands.

Jimin's wrist kept twisting this way, and that. Jungkook was admiring the smaller hand in his, turning it in his own hand, and looking at the way Jimin's small hand disappeared in his.

Jungkook would give anything to have Jimin all to himself, everyday, but the sad thing was, they did not have that luxury yet.

They would still have to work hard to earn each other. Jungkook knew he was really close to it, and his trust in Jimin kept getting build by the second.

It did not matter now how long it would take. What actually mattered was that they were doing this right, and rebuilding their relationship on solid grounds.

They were building their relationship to last for years.

They were saying no to now, just so they can enjoy their future.

Jungkook and Jimin both knew it's gonna be worth it.

"Hey." Jimin said softly, catching the far away look on Jungkook's face.

Turning his head, Jungkook raised his eyebrows in a silent question.

"I love you." Jimin smiled when he saw the instant effect his words had on Jungkook.

"I more than love you, hyung." Jungkook sighed. "Can you like, not go?" He asked, wrapping his arm around Jimin's shoulder and pulling him close.

Jimin got comfortable on Jungkook's chest, and let out a sigh of his own. "I wish." He said, drawing patterns on Jungkook's stomach. "She would have to be the one to say though."

Jungkook laughed. "Why do I have a feeling you don't like our counselor?"

Jimin laughed just cause Jungkook was. "Hey! I'm the one who picked her! How would this be possible?" He let out. "But," He trailed off. "Can't really love someone who tells us we can't live together yet."

"Yeah, you have a point."

"I don't hate her, if she's helping me get you back." Jimin said seriously, looking up at Jungkook's bambi eyes.

Jungkook turned a little to Jimin, to help make him lean more on him. "You already have me, hyung."

"You know I don't. Not yet at least."

They ended the night by Jungkook driving Jimin back to the dorm, he made sure to say hi to his hyungs, and ask them to take care of his Jimin until he could.

Jungkook felt a little bit jealous leaving Jimin alone with Namjoon and Hoseok. Cause why can they stay with him, witness his face in the morning, eat meals with him, have movie nights with, maybe possibly cuddle with-

"Hey." Jimin whispered, looking up at Jungkook, raising his hand to stroke his cheek, bringing him back to reality when he saw him space out.

"Yeah?" Jungkook breathed turning his eyes to Jimin, so he could see what was wrong.

"Where did you go?" Jimin laughed. "I lost you there for a minute."

"Hyung." Jungkook turned his whole body to Jimin, going as far as holding his shoulders, to make sure he's going to listen to every word he says. "Do you- Ugh, how do I say this?"

"Spit it out, Jungkook-ssi!" Jimin yelled playfully, wrapping his arms around Jungkook's neck, and taking a step closer.

Lowering his arms to Jimin's waist instead, Jungkook pulled Jimin closer almost forcefully, that Jimin almost stumbled into him, making Jimin let out a sharp breath.

"You can't cuddle anyone but me, understood?"

That was all Jungkook said before leaving, not forgetting to kiss Jimin goodbye, a blush on his face and his ears as red as tomatoes.

"You guys never lost that spark I swear to god." Namjoon laughed, taking a snack to his room.

Jimin was still standing at the front door, still in shock.

"Don't yell at me."

"I sure as hell can, I'm your hyung, and I can scold you if I want to, Jungkook!"

"No! Cause I did nothing wrong, hyung!"

"Oh, so you were not being rude to our counselor today just cause she said there's a chance that we may not work out!"

Jungkook stopped in his tracks, Jimin bumping into his back because of the way he suddenly stopped after they were almost running through the parking lot, Jungkook taking long strides to the car, and Jimin hot on his heals, just after coming out of their second session.

"Okay." Jungkook took a deep breath, and turned around so he was facing Jimin. "Baby, listen carefully, okay? I'm not gonna continue a conversation where someone tells me that this," He gestured to them both. "is not gonna work out, anyone that tells me we're not gonna work out can go fuck themselves!" Jungkook was slowly raising his voice. "So, whether it's the counselor, our hyungs, our fans, or even you, I'm not gonna stand there and just listen, because it's never happening!" Jungkook had his eyes wide open, his face hot with anger, his body was slightly shaking with the fear of losing Jimin.

Again.

Not again.

Jungkook turned around and took the last steps to the car, getting inside before slamming the door, and resting his head on the steering wheel.

His head was hurting him, his throat was burning, and he couldn't swallow the lump in his throat, he wanted to cry so hard, but somehow he couldn't let it out, it was like his breath was stuck in his thro-

A hand was gently placed on his back that brought him back, rubbing up and down, until his body relaxed enough to be hugged.

Jimin covered every part of Jungkook's body with his, making him feel his presence and his touch, his body and warmth. He knew by the signs Jungkook was showing that he was on the verge of a panic attack. "I'm sorry, Kook-ah. Hyung didn't mean it."

A dry sob resonated in the car, that had Jimin's hold tightening on Jungkook.

"Look at me?" Jimin whispered, pulling away from Jungkook, and manhandled Jungkook to sit straight and look at him.

Somehow he managed to make Jungkook raise his head, and found that Jungkook did not cry any tears, but he also knew his heart was hurting.

"Shh, It's okay, come on, breathe for me?" Jimin held Jungkook's head on both sides, resting their foreheads together, and he started to breathe loudly, in and out. "Come on."

"I can't do it again. I-huh- I can't do it again, hyung. C-Can't. Can't." Jungkook shook his head in Jimin's hold. "I can't lose y-you. I'll seriously d-die."

"No. No. Come on, baby. Breathe for me, can you do that? I'm not leaving you ever again, I swear on my life, baby. Now, come on, let's breathe, okay?" Jimin was slightly getting scared until he felt Jungkook breathe through his nose and out through his mouth with him. "Good boy." He praised.

"Can y-you tell me anything, please. Please I-I wanna hear your v-voice." Jungkook breathed, his arms loosely wrapped around  Jimin's waist, he didn't have the strength to lift them up.

"Want me to sing for you, baby?" Jimin suggested, a smile slowly growing on his face when Jungkook nodded.

"Please."

They stayed in the car for an hour in the deserted parking lot, Jimin singing Promise to Jungkook over and over again, engraving into Jungkook's heart the fact that he'll never leave him, and will stay by his side forever, and will keep his promise as long as he lived, as long as Jungkook promised that he'll keep smiling, and live for himself before anyone else, even if it was him.

"So this is your idea of a romantic date?"

Jungkook shrugged in his position on the bed, tightening his hold on Jimin's hand. "I think it's perfect, and hey doing it upside down was all your idea, not mine."

"Hey, it's different, and new!" Jimin turned his head to Jungkook. "Plus, this is how I do it alone."

Jungkook snapped his head back to Jimin. "You do this alone?!"

Jimin looked around awkwardly. "Yeah, what's wrong with it? I do it when I want to relax, and it's actually good for my mental health."

"I don't think this is actually good for you. I'm not a doctor or anything, but this cant possibly be helpful to your body is any way"

"You say this now, because we're on the bed. Try it on the coach, and oh you'll get a whole new feeling."

Jungkook sighed. "Okay, I think that's enough now. I'm getting dizzy."

Jimin sat up after laying on the bed with Jungkook upside down, their heads dangling from the end of the bed, their hands intertwined. "You're no fun."

"Well," Jungkook sat up. "This could totally be fun," Jimin turned to Jungkook curiously. "If we're naked - UGH."

Jimin pulled the pillow back from Jungkook's head. "You had it coming. This is only our-" he counted on his chubby fingers, "sixth date, you won't get anything until like," he counted on his fingers again, "twelfth or something."

Jungkook's jaw hung open in disbelief. "W-What?"

Jimin blinked at him.

"But I should be the one that decides!"

"And why is that I might ask?" Jimin crossed his arms.

"Cause you broke up with me, not the other way around!" Jungkook protested, his lisp showing when he yelled. "So its up to me when we should get back together, and I would say," he crawled the small space to Jimin, "now."

Jimin stopped Jungkook with a hand on his face. "See? This is exactly why it shouldn't be up to you to decide."

"Ugh, Jimin!" Jungkook shook Jimin's hand from his face.

"Yes, honey." Jimin rolled his eyes, choosing to cup Jungkook's face instead.

Jungkook closed his eyes in defeat. "When?" He sighed.

"Very soon, baby. We're almost there."

Jungkook pouted his lips. "Kissy?"

"Jungkook!"

Jungkook was growing impatient.

Each session they had with their counselor added to his frustration.

He also couldn't help it when he didn't see Jimin feeling impatient just as he was.

Didn't Jimin also want them to get back together as soon as possible? Why did he feel like Jimin wasn't that eager to get back together with him? Did he change his mind? Was he somehow bored and wanted out of the relationship and couldn't bring it up to Jungkook somehow? Did Jimin not love him anymo-

"Baby!"

Jimin pulled Jungkook out of his overthinking, having forgotten that Jimin was on the phone with him. "Huh? Sorry, Mimi. What did you ask?"

"You've been spacing out a lot lately, and by a lot I mean a lot." Jimin pointed out. "Wanna share?"

Jungkook sighed. "It's nothing, hyungie. Don't worry about it."

"It? So it's something?" Jimin sat up on the bed. "Jungkookie, please tell me. Don't you want to work on this together, so we can move back in together and-"

"Do you?" Jungkook interrupted.

"What?" Jimin frowned, not understanding the question.

"Do you want us to get back together?" Jungkook asked quietly.

"What kind of question is that?!" Jimin let out. "Of course I want to! How could you even doubt that?"

"I-I don't feel like you're as eager as me to get back together. Think about it, you're the one who left me, I'm the one who went back to you. W-Would you get back to me if I didn't come back that day? I feel like I'm always the one wearing his heart on his sleeve, and I can't always read you. It's like you're hiding yourself from me, I-"

"Jungkook."

Jungkook breathed down the line.

"I want to have you again. If it's the last thing I'm gonna do, I will have you back again. The only reason I'm holding back, is I don't want to lose you again, and I need to do this right, I have to earn you, and I have to listen to the professional here If I want us to be forever, and that's neither you nor me, baby." Jimin explained.

Jungkook stayed quiet.

"I-I was about to call you so many times, and I held back, I didn't know if you'd take me back, or if getting back together would be good for you, I had this messed up idea in my head that- that me being in your life was poison, that my love for you was only weighing you down and holding you back. I broke up with you because I love you, not because I stopped loving you, and I still do, so much more now, and I love you right this time."

Only quiet sniffles could be heard on the other line, Jungkook staring at the wall beside their bed.

"I know it hurts, baby. I'm hurting too, but that's not what I need to focus on. The only thing I need here is you, and I will have you." Jimin stated, his face set in an angry frown. "You know what? Fuck that counselor, I'm coming over." Jimin jumped out of bed, pulling his pants on and looking for the sweatshirt Jungkook left the last time he came over.

Jungkook raised his head from the mattress. "Hyung, what?"

"Shut up, I'm so angry at you right now." Jimin muttered, pulling a face mask and his keys and leaving the dorm, just like that at 2:15 in the morning.

"H-Hyung, you can't." Jungkook weakly argued, feeling a rush of excitement going through his body, all the thoughts of Jimin not caring about their relationship any more gone from his head.

"See you in five."

"Hyun-" Jungkook stared at his phone, Jimin hung up. "That crazy bastard." Jungkook laughed, running out of their room, and down to the parking lot.

It didn't take Jimin more than five minutes to cycle up to Jungkook who was waiting by the parking elevator, climbing out of his bike and pulling Jungkook into a kiss.

"Hyung." Jungkook said after pulling away, face still shocked. "We still had two days until we could see each other."

"Just shut up! We've been doing this for almost two months now! I miss you. You miss me! We earned this, and how else am I supposed to react when my boyfriend is needy? Tell him oh I'm sorry our counselor said no?" Jimin ranted, still holding Jungkook's face in the middle of the parking lot at 2:21 AM.

"Boyfriend?" Jungkook raised one eyebrow, a smug smile on his face.

Jimin sighed. "Let's go upstairs." He said pulling Jungkook by his hand to the still waiting elevator.

"But you said boyfriend!" Jungkook whined.

"I know, Kook-ah! But I don't want to ask you out in a parking lot, god, you drive me crazy." Jimin rolled his eyes, pressing on their floor number.

Jungkook grinned from ear to ear, his hand still in Jimin's, and he found out that loving Jimin, and being with him was as simple and random at the same time as being the happiest with him in an elevator, holding hands, so he started laughing.

Jimin turned to him, confused on why he was laughing so suddenly. "Did you drink something?"

"No, hyung. I'm just happy." Jungkook turned his head to Jimin, his teeth on full display, feeling giddy like he just found out that his crush likes him back.

Jimin stared at Jungkook's smile, and a smile broke out on his own face. "I promise to make you this happy forever, Jungkook-ah."

Ding

Jimin stepped out of the elevator, still pulling Jungkook by his hand. "Hyung, wait."

"Nope, you will shut up. I will do the talking tonight." Jimin simply stated, punching in the numbers and going inside.

Jungkook blushed, following Jimin inside until they sat on their bed.

"So uh." Jimin cleared his throat. "Three days ago, was actually our twelfth date."

"Oh? That's uh great."

Jimin cleared his throat again, just more aggressively. "So," He trailed off, getting off the bed, and kneeling before Jungkook on the ground, looking up at Jungkook.

"Jeon Jungkook. I love you, that's like the title of my feelings for you, but I could write a whole five hundred pages novel about my feelings for you, I wouldn't break a sweat. You're the one for me, you're my fairy tale, you're the other half of me, and I will seriously fight everyday just to see your face every morning when I wake up, I swear we're meant to be and I am sure, that you're mine in every universe, so we could very well have fought wars together, we could have ruled countries together, and we could have been just two normal people, just two men in love with each other, and that's all I need, and that's all I will ask for everyday, I will love you and ask you to love me everyday for the rest of our lives, that's all I want in my life, I don't need the fame, I don't need the fans, I don't need the money, I just need you happy beside me, Jeon Jungkook, please be my boyfriend, I promise I can cook for you, and I'm an amazing cuddle buddy."

"I hate you so much right now oh my god, I thought you were proposing, I'll have to ask my counselor first in that case." Jungkook pulled one hand out of Jimin's to swipe under his eyes. "I love you like hell, Park Jimin. I guess I have no choice but to live forever with you and love you, and make you happy and all that cheesy stu-"

Jimin shut Jungkook up with a kiss. "Oh, I know you wanna cry, don't hold back on me now."

"No, hyung. This is a happy moment I'm not gonna make it sad." Jungkook laughed, pulling Jimin up from the ground. "Are your knees okay?" He mumbled.

"Yeah, it's just been a while, I need my vitamins." Jimin muttered, rubbing his knees before resting back on the bed.

Jungkook tsked. "Hyung, you're not that old."

Jimin rolled his eyes, pulling Jungkook's arm so he could lay down on top of his chest. "Hyung. Hyung. Hyung." Jimin sighed, his hand going to Jungkook's hair, and he felt him relax on top of him. "That's how I know you're feeling needy, baby, and you're still saying it. Come on tell me."

"Tell you what, hyu- Jiminie." Jungkook corrected himself, his eyes falling shut at Jimin's touch.

"Ah, Jiminie is worse." Jimin muttered to himself. "Tell me what you felt when we were on the phone."

"I already told you." Jungkook said, turning his face the other way to get comfortable on top of Jimin.

"Again then, please?" Jimin asked, slipping his hand in Jungkook's shirt, rubbing his back, and earning a loud sigh from Jungkook at the feeling.

"Alright." Jungkook cleared his throat. "I felt like you didn't want to fix this anymore, and I thought you were changing your mind about us, and you were not that eager anymore. I thought I was the only one yearning for us to get back, and, and not just get back, other things too, I want a whole life and future and a family with you, and I just, felt like you were not as excited for that as I was."

"And now? What do you feel?"

"I feel like you're holding back." Jungkook raised his head to look at Jimin. "I don't like holding back."

"I am holding back." Jimin nodded. "Wanna know why? Cause if I don't then I'll come see you everyday, if I don't then I'll buy you a house in busan, adopt you that doberman and lock you in the house, if I don't then I'll take you to see the world, I'll show you just how much I love you different ways in each country, if I don't hold back, then I can't promise we won't crash, I have the most precious thing in my hands right now, and I have to be really careful with it, because I need for it to work, I need it to stay forever. I'm sacrificing now for later, and I'm so sorry, baby, that you thought I wasn't eager enough. Believe me I'm holding back so much, even now. I can't lose you, not again."

"Ugh, I need that novel." Jungkook laughed, resting his head on Jimin's chest again to swipe at his tears before Jimin saw them.

"You can cry you know?"

"I'm not gonna cry. I have a boyfriend now, it's that it boy from that famous group, ever heard about BTS?"

"You have to be kidding me."

"Hm?"

Yoongi walked out of his and Taehyung's temporary room, looks like their stay here is really coming to an end.

Jimin smiled when he saw it was Yoongi talking. "Oh, it's you, hyung. Good morning."

"Lets focus here, Jimin-ssi." Jungkook muttered in Jimin's ear, seeing as Jimin was preparing breakfast, and had Jungkook's whole body covering him from behind, making sure to 'instruct' him well in making the prefect egg rolls.

They have been doing this for exactly three months and a few days, having gone to seven sessions with the counselor and been on twenty one 'dates'.

Not all of their meetups were dates exactly, most of the time, they just went to each other's place, and spent the day in together.

Jimin had been dying to propose.

But he knew that they needed to be steady before they could take that step, so he made sure to have a private conversation with their counselor to ask her when exactly he could propose.

She told him that she was planning on only eight sessions with them, and after that any decision was theirs to make, which Jimin made sure to tell her she needed to say that to Jungkook or he would reject his proposal otherwise.

"Baby, you need to flip it over that way," Jungkook tsked, taking Jimin's hand in his, after he was wrapping it around Jimin's waist, and guiding his hand to flip the eggs. "see?"

Jimin nodded quickly. "Yeah, sorry." He whispered nervously. Jungkook was so close to him that he felt his breath on his neck, and his chest going up and down, he was feeling too many things happening, except for the eggs overcooking on the stove.

"No worries, honey." Jungkook kissed his cheek, pullings them back to turn off the heat. "Good job! The eggs are done."

Yoongi cleared his throat. It was too early to witness something like this, when he also couldn't see that well as his eyes did not open all the way yet, what he saw was still too much.

The couple turned to Yoongi when he cleared his throat, still wrapped up around each other. "Guys, don't you think it's time?" He said quietly. He has had enough of their lovey dovey stuff, and he wanted to spend some time alone with Taehyung, but couldn't do that with either Jimin nor Jungkook, or both of them there together, not when he couldn't even explain the nature of his relationship with Taehyung.

"Time for what?" They both asked.

"Ugh, seriously. I think you're both ready to move back in together, and me and Taehyung-ah out, don't you think so too?" He tilted his head, crossing his arms.

Jimin widened his eyes, relieved that he had his back to Jungkook, and the later blushed, looking down at Jimin's hair instead of his small angry hyung.

Jimin had dyed it back to his natural blonde. Jungkook called it natural cause it brought out Jimin's natural angelic features, and he looked ethereal, Jungkook thought about going brunette with blonde tips but needed Jimin's input on it first, just to make sure he would like it on hi-

"Hello? I'm talking to the both of you here."

Taehyung went out of their room. "Why so loud in the morning, Yoon? Leave them alone, we'll just disappear one day, and they won't be able to stay away for too long anyway." He passed by Yoongi, patting his shoulder.

Jungkook moved with Jimin to turn around, and put the last egg roll with the rest of the food on the table. "Breakfast, come on." He motioned for Taehyung and Yoongi to join, sitting down in his chair and pulling Jimin to sit on his lap.

They really have gone back to their old habits by now.

Jimin turned sideways in Jungkook's lap. "What do you think?"

"About what Yoongi hyung said?" Jungkook checked quietly, pulling a piece of pajeon to feed Jimin who was nodding. "Isn't that up to our counselor?" Jungkook whispered.

Jimin rolled his eyes, chewing the food. "Sure, but isn't the last session in a few days?"

"Really? That's our last session? How did you know?" Jungkook exclaimed, happy they're almost over with that part of their healing.

Jimin froze. "S-She mentioned it last time or something, I can't remember." He waved off. "Seriously, Kookie, don't you pay attention?"

Jungkook looked deep in thought, trying to remember when she said that, he would have payed attention to a small detail like that, cause this was good news, it meant they were showing great improvement, and didn't need professional help to stay together anymore. He kissed Jimin on the cheek multiple times, feeling so happy they could see each other all the time again, and possibly move in together again, since their last session was coming up, maybe even they could get married! "I'm so happy, how didn't I know this?"

Jimin giggled, returning Jungkook's gesture by kissing his mole. "It's okay, Jungkookie, you space out sometimes." He nervously waved off.

"Can we eat now, or what?" Yoongi butted in, an annoyed scowl on his face.

"What's wrong, Yoony?" Taehyung asked in concern, his hand going to Yoongi's thigh.

Yoongi leg froze, so he cleared his throat. "Can't you see the way they're kissing and giggling and shit, it's exhausting to witness this every five days, I'm sick of it, and don't get me started on those noises too, ugh!"

Jungkook laughed. "Just say you're jealous, hyung, and go." He wiggled his eyebrows, nudging Jimin and giving both Taehyung and Yoongi a look.

"Yeah, hyung, don't you want this for yourself too, when are you getting a girlfriend?" Jimin asked, trailing off. "Or boyfriend." He shrugged.

Yoongi stuffed his face with food, not giving them an answer, and looking down at his food, but Jungkook noticed something else, all the more interesting.

Taehyung was looking at Yoongi with a sad look on his face.

"How do you wanna celebrate?"

The couple were walking out of their last ever couple therapy session holding hands, having been told already how they came a long way now, and were great at communicating with their traumas and wounds.

Jungkook still had his moments when he feels like he's gonna lose Jimin, sometimes he would feel as if Jimin didn't want him anymore, would sometimes have nightmares about it too.

But Jimin knew how to deal with these situations. He knew when Jungkook would feel insecure, he knew when he was tense, he knew when Jungkook would sometimes space out with a sad look on his face.

And most importantly, Jungkook learned to communicate these feelings, he answered truthfully when Jimin asked him why he was tossing and turning that one night, groaning in his sleep cause he was having a bad dream, he told Jimin when asked what he was thinking about when he spaced out, he did not hold back because he knew the only way for these thoughts to go away, is by Jimin explaining to him that they're only fears, and will never happen.

Jimin also had his moments when he would doubt he's any good to Jungkook, cause maybe he's not enough, maybe he can't help Jungkook like he thinks he can, but he also learned to tell Jungkook exactly when and why he felt like that.

Both of them were dating each other, communicating with each other, laying it out on the table when it's needed.

They stopped being alone in their relationship with each other.

That was the least they could do to save their relationship.

Jimin had the ring in his pocket for weeks now, resisting the urge to kneel every time he saw Jungkook, pun intended.

Shim Cheong:

Hi again Jimin-ssi! Just wanted to let you know Jungkook-ssi had a question for me when you took a toilet break.

Sent: 3:06 pm

Shim Cheong:

This stays between me and you, but he asked if he could propose to you now, and when exactly he could do that and when would be the right time.

Sent: 3:07 pm

Shim Cheong:

I told him it would be okay to do in three months time. Of course you two could get engaged whenever you want now like I told you before, but I told him that to buy you some time.

Sent: 3:07 pm

Shim Cheong:

It needs to be you, Jimin-ssi. Good luck!

Sent: 3:08 pm

Jimin chocked on nothing, getting flustered cause Jungkook wanted to propose.

Jungkook wanted to propose.

He wanted to get married. He wanted them to spend the rest of their lives together.

"God, baby, you okay? I only suggested celebrating, where did your mind go, silly?" Jungkook laughed, pulling Jimin by the hand he was holding so he could pat him on his back. "Come on, theres some water in the car." He pulled Jimin to their car, opening the door for him to get inside.

Jimin reached for the bottle in the cup holder, gulping down half of the bottle, and turning on the AC so he could breathe better.

"You okay now?" Jungkook asked, turning to look at Jimin.

"Yeah." Jimin crooked out, leaning back in his seat, and relaxing.

"What do you wanna do?" Jungkook leaned back too, pulling Jimin's hand and kissing it, before he intertwined their fingers with a laugh.

Jimin looked at Jungkook, studying every wrinkle on his face when he smiled, he looked at his tattooed hand in his, he looked at his newly dyed hair, his left hand that had no ring yet, and the new lip piercing he got. "Let's go to Paris." Jimin let out, not giving it much thought.

He knew what he had to do.

"Come on, drive, we need to pack, I'll book the tickets." Jimin pulled his phone out of his pocket, not catching the shocked look on Jungkook's face.

"Hyung, what?" Jungkook mumbled in disbelief.

"Well, I had the idea of going to the dorm, and getting the few things we both have there, and then officially moving back in together at our place, since Taehyung and Yoongi disappeared already, and I'm sure it's lonely for you at home, but then I thought, we can already do that, and we will, but I want something different, like a big thing that we can celebrate with, and nothing comes to mind to me other than Paris, I have been there a lot of times before. I know my way around, and you'll love it too, just think about the view you're going to have every morning." Jimin finished, out of breath.

"You're crazy, Jimin-ah." Jungkook leaned into Jimin's space, looking into his eyes with a big smile.

"Crazy for you, baby." Jimin pulled his tongue out, looking at his phone to make sure their tickets to Paris are secured.

"Just to let you know, Jimin-ah, I'll have the best view every morning anyway, no need for any Eiffel Tower." Jungkook teased, pulling out of their parking spot and driving to the dorm.

Jimin laughed loudly, hitting Jungkook's shoulder. "Ew, shut up! That was so bad."

"You wound me, dear."

"Oh, you'll live." Jimin rolled his eyes when Jungkook kissed his hand again, the boy still wouldn't let go.

To be truthful, Jimin never wanted him to let go.

You're still shining

You're still like a scented flower

Now trust me, hold me again

So I can feel you, hold me

"I love this."

"What? Us naked under the sheets? Or us playing our own songs like narcissists? Or us being in Paris? Oh, please let me know, Jimin-ssi." Jungkook laughed, moving his fingers from Jimin's waist to under his arm to tickle him.

Jimin squealed, laughing loudly. "All of it." He breathed, turning to lay more on top of Jungkook. "I love being with you before all of this, and I specially love our current position, and I love you." He said, rubbing Jungkook's shins with his, his hand moving up and down Jungkook's arm. "It can't get any more perfect."

"Are you sure, Jimin-ssi?" Jungkook raised one eyebrow, his hand moving to his bedside drawer without Jimin noticing.

"Well, it's definitely debatable, seeing as we still haven't ordered dinner." Jimin shrugged a little, his hand sliding under the pillow Jungkook was resting his head on. "And, we're still not married, not officially moved in together, and we basically just ran away to Paris." Jimin continued. "But," He added, climbing over Jungkook, and limiting any movement for Jungkook, so he wasn't able to reach anything but Jimin, and the bed. "I have the perfect boyfriend whom I very much will not be letting go of ever in my life. He's the most beautiful human being in the world, definitely the cutest too." Jimin leaned down to kiss Jungkook's cheek. "People would kill to be in my place, and I will kill if anyone touches you." Jimin added in a whisper. "So, will you let me? Please let me be by your side forever, I promise to be a loyal servant, I will make sure of your happiness, and I'll make sure to restock our banana milk in the fridge." Jimin took a deep breath.

"Marry me."

"Marry me, please."

Jungkook's eyes widened. He thought it was his perfect chance to propose, seeing as their bedroom suite had rose petals and lit candles, just as Jimin ordered, and their mood could not get any more romantic. If only his hand could reach the bedside table for the ring he had on him ever since two days before their last session.

He had asked their counsel for permission to propose, and she said in three months.

Three months?!

Jungkook being the stubborn man he is, pretended as if she never said anything and decided to go through with it anyways.

Until,

"Are we seriously proposing at the same time?" Jungkook muttered.

"Well, you don't have a ring on you, so it's only me proposing here." Jimin shrugged sassily.

"Well," Jungkook sighed, and flipped them in bed, finally reaching for the ring box in the bedside.

Jimin's jaw dropped. "No."

Jungkook froze. "W-What?"

Jimin blinked. "You weren't supposed to propose until three months after our therapy, that's what she told you, you're cheating!" He full on yelled. "I'm the one proposing right now, so come on, will you fucking marry me?!" Jimin held the ring up in front of Jungkook's face, making him confused.

"Are you proposing or are you holding me at gun point?"

Jimin sighed, trying not to focus on the fact that both of their rings were a perfect match thank god. The ring he got for Jungkook was a thick silver with a thin line in the middle, with three small diamonds itched into the design, while the ring Jungkook got for him was a thinner version only with diamonds all the way around the silver ring, making them match perfectly.

Jimin got out of bed, his hand closing around the ring he smartly hid under the pillow as soon as they checked in, it was their first night in Paris and he knew he wouldn't be able to resist proposing on the first night. He pulled Jungkook with him to in front of the bed, between all the red rose petals and the candles, both of them standing in the dimly lit room in their boxers, with the warm summer breeze making its way to their room.

Jimin dropped to one knee. "I'm your hyung, so I'm proposing." He finalized, his tone serious.

Jungkook smiled, tightening his hold on Jimin's hand, and saying nothing.

"Jungkook-ah, ever since I saw you in that meeting eleven years ago, I was a goner for you, I just didn't know why or how." Jimin started. "At first, you reminded me of my dongsaeng, I was missing my family, and I found home in your innocent little face, and doe eyes, and your Busan dialect. I got attached to you too fast, and I later found out that you meant the world to me, and you're not just a guy I debuted with, I wanted you all to myself, and you took a big space in my heart without knowing you did.

Jungkook, you have become everything to me in so little time, that I was always crying over the fact that you'll never see me as more than a brother, a hyung.

When you kissed me in that live, I felt the happiest, and I wanted to be buried alive, and when you got close to other people, my heart burned at the thought that you could love someone else, that I could watch you love someone else, and you wouldn't be mine.

Soon after you were mine, I knew it had to be some kind of a miracle that for sure was not real, cause I cant possibly have that much beauty in my hands, all alone, all to myself.

So, I fucked up, and I let you go, and I have spent thirty days regretting letting you go, and shortly after, I decided that if you were to become mine again, I wouldn't let you go even if you deserved better, because you do deserve better, but I'm gonna be selfish and hold you back, and keep you all to myself.

So to seal all of this off, will you marry me and be mine forever so I can still keep you all to myself?"

Jungkook blinked all his tears away, nodding his head repeatedly. "Yes, hyung. I'll marry you, I'll be yours forever." He leaned down to kiss Jimin, slowly kneeling on the ground too, holding Jimin's face with both hands, fingers stroking cheeks. "Be mine forever, hyung." He lifted his hand with the ring he got for Jimin. "Make me the happiest man alive, and marry me back?"

Jimin laughed. "Yes. Yes, definitely." Sliding the ring on Jungkook's finger, and letting Jungkook put the ring on him too.

They sat on the ground, holding each other, and admiring the rings in their hands.

"It's beautiful, Jungkookie. Thank you, baby." He kissed Jungkook's cheek. "What are you blushing for, Kookie?" Jimin laughed.

"Nothing, it's just," Jungkook smiled, leaning his head on Jimin's shoulder. "I'm engaged."

Jimin smiled hearing that. Jungkook was engaged to him. He was getting married to him and no one else.

"I love you, Jimin-ah. Seriously, this feels so right, the idea of being yours forever, the thought that I'll have you to hang out with forever, to watch TV with forever, just growing together, makes me excited. I can't wait, hyung."

Jimin leaned up to kiss Jungkook, cause he had no other words to say, he could say nothing, cause nothing could make this any more perfect.

He had fell hard, and fast to the most beautiful human being, and couldn't love Jungkook any more than he did. He could stare at him for hours, never getting tired, might not even blink, cause how could he blink if he would miss another important detail in Jungkook's face.

Jungkook was all that Jimin loved and cared for.

He knew he was an idiot for letting Jungkook go, but he knew he didn't need to convince anyone, not even Jungkook himself that he was never leaving.

Because he was never leaving.

Jimin had reached the point where, even when he didn't have Jungkook by his side, he would just close his eyes, and he would remember every detail, as if he was just there, and then he would smile, and fall even deeper in love.

Jimin didn't know he could love someone this bad, and he also didn't know loving someone this close up would feel one hundred percent better than loving someone from far away, one sided.

He found that loving a human being meant seeing them for who they really were, with all of their flaws that were flawless, that even though Jungkook sometimes drove him crazy, he loved when he did.

He would never get tired of him, and he knew life didn't exist without him, because it didn't.

And as scary as that thought was, he knew it was part of the love he had for Jungkook.

Because to love is to hurt, and fuck if he didn't hurt for Jungkook.

He hoped that they hurt enough for now, and it was their time to bask in their love.

But he didn't mind hurting if it meant getting his reward at the end.

His Jungkook.

"Babe."

"Hm."

"Babe, wake up."

"No."

"Jimin-ah, seriously wake up."

"Ugh. Why?" Jimin turned in bed, burying his face in his pillow to avoid the sunlight.

"Someone's at the door, and you're on top of me, I can't just toss you away, now wake up." Jungkook whined, wiggling under Jimin.

Jimin tsked, starting to really wake up, only to realize that Jungkook was the pillow he was sleeping on. "Oh."

Jungkook went to get the door after Jimin rolled away, trying to fall back asleep again.

It was their first day back from the little vacation they had. Jimin liked to call it their engagcation, and Jungkook was too tired to protest.

They arrived the night before, and had crashed from the jet lag.

"Alright, who is it? I'm coming." Jungkook almost ran to the door, knowing how he kept whoever that was behind the door waiting.

It was partially his fault for changing their passcode.

"Seriously, what were you both doing all this time, we've been waiting forever." Hoseok complained, just as Jungkook opened the door.

"I was trying to wake Jimin-ah."

"He's still asleep? We have to celebrate your engagement! Jiminie! Wake up, come on!" Taehyung yelled, making his way to the bedroom, until Jungkook stopped him.

"I'll wake him up." Jungkook said, pulling Taehyung back, and heading to their room instead.

Taehyung frowned. "Has he always been like that?"

Hoseok shrugged. "Must be because they're engaged now."

"Babe, come on. It's Tae, and Hobie hyung outside." Jungkook whispered, climbing the bed, and pulling Jimin to him, who kept whinning, still half asleep.

"Why? I'm tired, so tired." Jimin mumbled.

Jungkook sighed, getting cozy beside Jimin and not seeing the point of socializing with anyone who wasn't Jimin at the moment. "Should I kick them out?" Jungkook whispered in Jimin's ear, kissing his cheek after.

"Who?" Jimin mumbled, throwing his leg over Jungkook.

"Tae, and Hobie hyung, babe." Jungkook laughed, speaking with a sleeping Jimin felt like he was speaking to a drunk Jimin.

"Yeah, do that." Jimin nodded, making Jungkook laugh even more.

"No, seriously. I'll carry you there, alright?" Jungkook asked, getting ready to hold Jimin to the living room, and the commotion might wake him up. "You'll just have to wear something, uh." Jungkook looked around the room for any pair of sweatpants, and not finding any, so he got one from their closet, and started to put it on the sleeping Jimin, making sure to untuck his shirt that Jimin was actually wearing, and pulling him up to go to the living room.

"Ah! Jiminie, Jiminie!" Hobie called in excitement, seeing Jungkook coming out of the hallway with a sleeping Jimin wrapped around him like a koala.

"Sorry, I still can't wake him up." Jungkook pouted, taking a seat on the coach right in front of Taehyung.

"Jiminie? Don't you miss your soulmate? Come on wake up." Taehyung cooed, reaching for Jimin to shake his shoulder.

Jungkook slapped his hand away. "Stop it, hyung."

Taehyung pulled his hand to his own chest with a look of betrayal on his face. "How very dare you? That's my soulmate right there. Don't you ever think that just because you're both gett-"

"Kookie, make it stop my head is hurting." Jimin whined quietly into Jungkook's nape.

"Ow. I think I just heard my heart breaking into a million pieces." Taehyung dramatically put his hand to his heart. "Soulmate, you forgot about me just like that? You get engaged to the first man you hook up with and now our friendship is over?" He exaggerated.

Hoseok and Jungkook laughed.

"You'll live." Jimin mumbled tiredly, still not moving an inch.

"That's it, Hoba hyung, lets go." Taehyung stood up from the couch, getting pulled by his patterned shirt to sit back down again.

"Who you calling, Hoba, sit down, kid." Hoseok threw Taehyung a look.

"Jiminie, Tae hyung was joking, but I think you'll hurt his feelings if you don't get up now." Jungkook whispered into Jimin's ear, earning a groan and shuffling on his lap.

"Look, he's waking up." Hoseok nudged Taehyung, who was crossing his arms with a pout on his face. "Jiminie!" Hoseok jumped to sit next to Jimin so he could give him a hug. "Congratulations on your engagement, Jiminie!"

"Why didn't I get a congratulations? I was the one that was proposed to." Jungkook frowned. "And that's enough hugging." He then pulled Hoseok back from Jimin, pulling him to his side, and wrapping an arm around his waist possessively.

"You're not gonna give me a hug too?" Jimin crooked, still not fully awake, looking at Taehyung.

"Yeah, it's whatever." Taehyung got up, and wrapped his arms around Jimin awkwardly, looking away with the same pout.

"TaeTae, I didn't get enough sleep I swear. You guys just got here too early, what time is it anyway?" Jimin defended to a still pouting Taehyung.

"It's past five PM, hyung." Jungkook whispered, looking down at Jimin's swollen face.

"Wait, really? So I slept for twelve hours?" Jimin asked himself, looking around the room, still feeling like he's in dream land. "I could have slept two more hours for real." He added mindlessly. "Hey, lets have a movie night? Kookie, order take out, okay?" Jimin suggested, all three of them still watching him silently, as he scooted down the couch, and laid his head on Jungkook's lap, and closing his eyes, and in a minute he was back to snoring softly.

"What did you feed him to sleep this much, Jungkookie?" Hoseok laughed, resting back in his seat. "How is he sleeping this much?"

"He's off survival mode, hyung." Jungkook noted, looking down at Jimin, and brushing his hair away from his forehead softly. "He told me how he spent the month we were separated sleeping, but he used to have a lot of 'guilt dreams' as he liked to call it, they only stopped after we got engaged, so he's been catching up on all the peaceful sleep he lost." Jungkook explained, still brushing Jimin's hair softly, the strands soft between his fingers.

"Jiminie really went through it alone, huh." Hoseok noted, looking at Jimin too.

"I was there." Taehyung corrected. "But he doesn't know how to let someone be there for him when he's hurting. He'll be there if someone needed him sure, he'll drop everything for the people he loves, but he doesn't know when to let people in." He explained more, getting sad from remembering how Jimin suffered that one month him and Jungkook were apart. "You'll take care of him, right? You'll be there even if he thinks he wants to be alone?"

Jungkook smiled, looking up to reply to Taehyung. "Already am, hyung." He said, looking down again at Jimin.

"You guys grew up so much. When did this happen? Oh, I'm getting emotional, you three have all grown up so much." Hoseok sniffed, looking at a blonde Taehyung, and then at the couple in front of him, Jimin still sleeping on Jungkook's lap, holding his thigh in his sleep, and Jungkook smiling, just as he used to do when he was sixteen. "Oh, I remember how young you all were in debut days." He reminisced.

"Hyung, please don't start, we'll all get emotional, and Jimin will wake up to us all crying and freak out." Jungkook interrupted, pulling his phone out of his pocket. "I'll order take out like Jimin-ah asked, and I'll wake him up when the food gets here, you guys pick a movie." He said, scrolling on his phone to order food.

For now, they had nothing in the fridge. It has been two weeks since they were last in Seoul and they already sent someone to clean their apartment, seeing as Taehyung and Yoongi had long gone betrayed them, and travelled alone together, taking their last dating week as their chance to do so.

"Oh, Tae hyung, where did you go to by the way? You and Yoongi hyung?" Jungkook asked out of curiosity.

"Wha- What? Me and Yoongi hyung, what?" Taehyung echoed, clearing his throat.

Jungkook frowned, and Hoseok turned to Taehyung in confusion, not understanding why the mention of him and Yoongi traveling had him all chocked up.

"Yeah, you and Yoongi hyung disappeared literally a few days before me and Jiminie's last session, where did you guys go?" Jungkook asked again, squinting.

"I don't know where hyung went, I just went to Jeju. I went alone, he didn't come with me, I was traveling alone, Kook." Taehyung said, making both Hoseok and Jungkook grow all the more suspicious.

Jungkook, and Hoseok made eye contact, before Jungkook nodded, and dialed Yoongi's number discreetly, letting it ring in his hand. "Oh, that sounds so fun, hyung." Jungkook replied in a fake tone, putting the call on speaker only after Yoongi picked up and said hello. "Hey, Yoongi hyung, how was your trip to Jeju with Taehyung hyung?" He innocently asked.

Taehyung's face went pale.

"Oh, it was fun. Why are you asking?" Yoongi's voice came from Jungkook's phone.

"No reason, hyung. Have fun. Bye!" Jungkook hung up. "What are you hiding, little hyung?"

"I wont speak without a lawyer." Taehyung stated, resting one hand on top of the other sassily.

Jungkook frowned, giving Hoseok a questioning look. "Okay, have it your way. I'll go wake Jiminie up, Hobie hyung, here's my phone for when the food arrives, I'll be right back." He got up, holding Jimin bridal style, the boy was knocked out in his arms. "Tae hyung, word of advice, make sure to update Jiminie on what's happening, or it will hurt him that something big is happening in your life that he knows nothing about." He pointed out before he headed to their ensuite to wake Jimin up with a shower.

"Kookie." Jimin smiled, feeling Jungkook taking his shirt off. "When did you put sweatpants on me?" He asked, his eyes still closed. "No, question is, why did you put sweatpants on me? I was wearing my underwear."

Jungkook tutted. "You're sleep walking, hyung. Hobie and Tae hyung are outside, and you had a full conversation with them just a few minutes ago."

Jimin laughed. "I know. That's not what I meant." He took the last of his clothes off, and went under the stream, pulling Jungkook with him when he was done too.

"What do you mean? Of course you can't meet them in your underwear, Jimin-ah." Jungkook argued, wetting his hair, and giving the same treatment to Jimin's hair before he washed it.

"I had a shirt on, babe." Jimin continued to laugh.

"Jimin-ah, I can't have you meet other men half naked, that's not happening." Jungkook kept washing his hair, not looking at Jimin, knowing he'll crack.

"Babe, we're all men, it's not like I'm a woman, and they'll be attracted to me, plus, they have already seen me naked, a lot of times." Jimin reminded, teasing Jungkook more.

Jungkook huffed. "All men are gay, Min."

"Facts." Jimin nodded, reaching up to massage Jungkook's scalp.

"And just because they used to see you naked back in the days when we only had one shower in the dorm and a busy schedule, doesn't mean that it's okay now, understood?" Jungkook looked down to make eye contact with Jimin, pulling him by his wrist, that was still working on massaging his hair.

"Yes, sir." Jimin laughed, going on his tippy toes, and kissing Jungkook.

"Come on, we need to get back before the food gets cold." Jungkook said when Jimin pulled away.

"You got food!"

Jimin and Jungkook quickly finished showering, and blow dried their hair, and got their old matching sweaters to wear, as a token of good luck, and went out to have a good meal with two members of their family.

"Hyung! Bestie!" Jimin yelled, running to Hoseok, and Taehyung on the couch, and throwing himself on top of them. "I missed you guys."

Taehyung, and Hoseok pulled Jimin close, and wrapped their arms around him in a hug, making Jungkook roll his eyes with a smile, taking the bags of food to the kitchen so he could serve it in plates.

"We missed you too, Jiminie. Tell us everything! How did you do it? Did he say yes right away? Did any of you cry?" Jungkook heard Taehyung ask a blushing Jimin.

Jungkook smiled, waiting for Jimin to answer when their eyes met from behind Taehyung and Hoseok, holding eye contact for a while, until Jungkook threw Jimin kisses from across the kitchen to the living room, throwing him some finger hearts, and finishing with a big arm heart.

Jimin blushed harder if possible, and started to tell them exactly how he got to have Jungkook to himself forever.

"Come on, baby, just a few more, okay?"

"This is way kinkier than it should be."

Jimin laughed. "Stop this is supposed to be romantic!"

"You sure? This blindfold says otherwise." Jungkook teased, pulling gently on the blindfold on his eyes, holding into Jimin's hand so he can guide him to wherever he said he wanted to take him as a date.

They were visiting their families in Busan, telling them about the great news and celebrating with family, and Jimin was not done with taking Jungkook's breath away in every way possible.

Including now.

"You can look now."

Jungkook gently took off his blindfold, and was met with the view of a homie looking two stories house. "W-What is this?" He turned to Jimin, finding him already looking at him.

"This is your engagement gift." Jimin explained simply.

"You're joking!" Jungkook yelled, looking around at the small garden, and garage , and at the brown front door, looking back to see that they already went past a gate when Jimin was guiding him out of the car.

"Sign the lease, and it's all yours." Jimin shrugged, looking at Jungkook's face to make sure he didn't miss any reactions.

"Ours. It's ours." Jungkook corrected, taking a step to the house. "Can I see it inside?" He asked, looking back at Jimin.

"Of course, your second gift is actually waiting inside. Don't keep your gift waiting now, Kookie." Jimin teased, loving the way Jungkook's face went from happy and excited, to shocked all over again.

"You didn't." Jungkook said, standing frozen in front of Jimin.

"Yes, I did." Jimin nodded, feeling giddy to have made Jungkook this happy with two gifts.

If he knew, then he would have bought that house, and adopted that dog years ago.

Jungkook ran inside, pushing the already ajar door to get inside, running all over the place to look for his new baby. "Kitchen, Jungkookie!" Jimin guided, going inside the house himself, to find Jungkook running around, until they met in the kitchen.

Jungkook teared up, seeing a small carpet in the middle of the kitchen floor, a dog bed right in the middle of the carpet with a baby brown doberman, snoozing away. "J-Jiminie." He sniffed, turning to Jimin.

"Babe, the house didn't make you emotional, but Bam did?" Jimin laughed, holding Jungkook's face in his hands, and wiping away the tear that fell.

"Bam?" Jungkook asked, turning to the doberman sleeping.

"Yeah, his name is Bam, I adopted him last week, and your family was taking care of him until we came today, so I asked your brother to drop him here for me. Do you like him, baby?" Jimin explained, stroking Jungkook's face, watching his eyes glow with stars, staring at a sleeping Bam.

"I love him. Can I please pet him?" Jungkook asked, his hands squeezing Jimin's waist.

Jimin laughed at Jungkook's adorableness. "He's yours, babe!"

Jungkook ran to the sleeping Bam, sitting down on the ground in front of him, and admiring him from up close, putting a hesitant hand on him to pet him, and the doberman started to wake up, alert.

"Hi, Bamie, this is your appa, and this is your other appa. Welcome home!"
