"It's good to see you again, Yugyeom." Jimin said, stepping away from Jungkook to shake the boy's hand.
Yugyeom smiled. "It's great to see you again too." He politely said, letting go of Jimin's hand.
Jimin let out a small sigh. "I'll go change. I'll be right back." He stated, swiftly grabbing the shopping bags from Jungkook's hand and going to their room.
When he walked away, he could hear Jungkook greeting Yugyeom, with a bro hug, he could tell from the sound of pats on the back.
Jimin rolled his eyes.
He walked into the room, throwing the bags on the floor and shutting the door with his leg with an angry kick, taking off his cardigan with an angry huff and throwing it on the bed.
"He just had to come today. Of all days. TODAY!" He muttered angrily, continuing to take his clothes off harshly.
"Looking good, babe." Jungkook said, letting out a wolf whistle.
Jimin turned around quickly, just in his boxers, and rolled his eyes at Jungkook. He couldn't find his clothes amidst the mess he made in the room, and then he remembered that he didn't wear anything but a towel after he took the bath, and then he wore his outfit right after.
But Jungkook laid out fresh clothes for me.
He stood there, hands on his hips, looking around him at the mess he made of the room, trying to spot Jungkook's green sweatshirt. "Where is it?!" He let out angrily.
"What is it?" Jungkook asked, looking around the room himself and trying to spot the thing Jimin was looking for.
Jimin huffed. "Your sweatshirt, Jungko- You know what?" He stopped himself, and then kneeled on the floor, snatching the shopping bag he knew had their new sweaters. He took the white one out, and tore out the ticket, putting it on, and taking out the black one and throwing it at Jungkook, who caught it easily. "Here. This is yours." He informed nonchalantly, getting up to look for sweatpants that went with the sweater.
Before Jimin was able to take one step towards the wardrobe, Jungkook pulled him back from around his waist. "Hey. Come here." Jungkook said, pulling Jimin to him, and resting his head on Jimin's small shoulder. "This is our day, okay? I won't let anyone ruin it." He stated in a clear voice, pulling away from Jimin, and turning him around.
Jungkook took a small step back from Jimin, and took off his coat, and threw it on their bed. He started to take this sweater and jeans off, throwing them on the bed too, in the same manner he was sure Jimin threw his own clothes. "Jungkookie, what are you doing? We have a guest at home. There's no time for that!" Jimin whisper shouted, his eyes wide from what Jungkook was insinuating.
Jungkook smirked and said nothing, leaning down to pick up the new sweater Jimin bought for him from the floor, and putting it on. He went to their wardrobe and took out sweatpants for them both, handing Jimin his with a kiss on his cheek. "Let's go show off our matching sweaters." He suggested with a wink, putting on his sweatpants. "Oh! And our matching rings!" He pointed out, showing off his own ring.
When Jimin didn't know what to say, he just hugged Jungkook. Seeing Yugyeom first thing when they came back, brought back an unpleasant memory that Jungkook knew nothing about, but he could still read him easily, and not just that, but also doing and saying exactly what Jimin needed. Jungkook really was the best boyfriend Jimin could ever ask for. "I'm sorry." He mumbled against Jungkook's chest. "I just don't like Yugyeom. I get jealous." He admitted quietly, his voice muffled with Jungkook's sweater, but Jungkook could still hear him clearly.
The taller wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, rubbing his back in comfort. "Baby, that's normal. You don't have to apologise. It's not like you treated Yugyeom badly because of it. You were still polite to him." He assured softly.
"I didn't treat him badly, but look at how I treated you. Look around the room, Jungkookie!" Jimin whined, trying to break free from the hug, but Jungkook wouldn't let him.
"Please don't hide your real emotions from me, Jimin. I don't care about the room being messy. I only care about you, and what you're feeling. If you're gonna hold back from showing your emotions then I won't know you're upset, and I won't know to comfort you, and then it would cause miscommunication, and we don't want that, do we, Jimin-ssi." Jungkook said, leaning back to look at Jimin.
"No, we don't." Jimin mumbled, looking down.
"That's right." Jungkook said. "Thank you for the sweater, by the way."
Jimin rolled his eyes. "You're the one who paid for it." He reminded.
Jungkook smiled at the thought. "Still." He replied cheekily. "Come on. Put on your pants so we can go show off our relationship." He said, patting Jimin's butt.
"Why didn't Jackson come with you? I miss that idiot." Namjoon said, munching on the popcorn Jin just made.
"I didn't tell him actually. Next time I will." Yugyeom replied, reaching for some of the popcorn himself. "Are we watching a movie?" He asked, looking at Namjoon.
"Yeah, we're just waiting for the love birds." Yoongi said from his spot on the couch.
Yugyeom raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything.
Jimin and Jungkook walked into the living room. They were talking in hushed whispers. "I just wanna go to sleep. It's been a long day." Jimin quietly complained.
"Yeah. A lot of things happened today." Jungkook said, nodding in agreement with Jimin.
"Really now?" Yoongi said, groaning a little. "I can't deal with this coupley shit right now." He whined, covering his face.
"What? What?" Namjoon and Yugyeom asked, not getting what Yoongi meant.
"Oh my god. Just get married already why don't you." Namjoon sassed, looking at the couple's matching sweaters.
Jimin and Jungkook turned to look at each other. "Actually," Jungkook trailed off, him and Jimin raising their right hands to show off their rings.
Namjoon stood up from his place on the couch, his eyes wide. "Wait! Really?!" He yelled.
Jimin and Jungkook laughed. "No. At least not yet." Jungkook said, earning a slap on the shoulder from Jimin.
"I believed it for a second there." Yoongi said quietly, moving to lay down on the couch and closing his eyes.
"Wait. Am I missing something?" Yugyeom stated, his eyes wide and confused.
Before Jimin had the chance to say anything, Jungkook intertwined their hands. "We're together." He stated.
Yugyeom smiled. "Oh my god. I'm so happy for you. You look so cute together." He cooed, making Jimin smile shyly.
Jungkook turned to Jimin, and looked at him as if to say: 'See? There's nothing to be jealous about.'
Jimin rolled his eyes at Jungkook, and then turned to Yugyeom. "Thank you." He said shyly.
Jin, Taehyung, and Hoseok walked into the living room with more snacks and drinks. "What? What did we miss?" Jin asked curiously, walking over to the couple and seeing their matching sweaters. "Aw. That's so cute."
"Taetae!" Jimin called, walking over to Taehyung, and giving him a hug.
"Aw, Minnie. Tell me everything! How was your date?" Taehyung asked, squishing Jimin's cheeks.
Jimin slapped his hands away, and then raised his right hand to show him the ring. "Really good." He said with a laugh.
"What! Oh my god. Did Jungkook-"
Jimin laughed again. "No, silly. It's just matching rings." He corrected.
Taehyung gasped. "Still! That's a big deal. I need to know everything!" He yelled out, jumping in place in excitement.
"Well, first-" Jimin started, only to get interrupted when someone cleared their throat.
Jungkook crossed his arms. "The movie. We need to watch the movie." He raised his eyebrows.
Jimin raised his eyebrows back at Jungkook with a sly smile.
Who's jealous now?
Taehyung laughed. "No need to get jealous, Jungkook-ah." He assured. "Come on, let's sit together and you can tell me everything during the movie." He said, pulling Jimin with him to the couch Yoongi was laying on.
Before Taehyung could tell his hyung to move, Yoongi got up and sat on the right side of the couch, and Taehyung sat right beside him, pulling Jimin to sit on his other side.
The couch was full, only fitting three people, so Jungkook just stood there, with his arms crossed, looking at Jimin.
Jimin smiled cheekily, getting up and pulling Jungkook to sit instead, and then sitting on his lap after. "Happy?" He asked.
Jungkook moved to adjust their position, letting out a contented sigh afterwards. "Very." He sighed.
The shorter smiled at his boyfriend, turning to his best friend after. "So," He started, grabbing Taehyung's attention. "we actually had a fight yesterday." He said quietly.
"Yeah, I noticed." Taehyung stated with a sigh. "But you made up after dinner, right?" He said, raising his eyebrows.
"No." Jimin trailed off, looking away.
"What?! Why?!" Taehyung exclaimed.
"Because I was a drama queen, but anyways-"
Jungkook interrupted Jimin with a kiss on his temple. "No, you weren't." He stated simply, continuing to watch the movie.
Jimin blushed at the gesture, and Taehyung smiled cheekily at them. "As I was saying, the morning after, we made up-"
"How did that exactly happen? I need to know every detail." Taehyung said, Jimin being interrupted for the third time.
Jimin slapped Taehyung on the shoulder. "Stop" Slap. "interrupting" Slap. "me!" Slap.
Jungkook chuckled.
Taehyung pouted. "Okay." He said quietly, feeling Yoongi wrapping his arm around his shoulder and rubbing the spot Jimin kept slapping.
"Keep your hands to yourself, Jiminie." Yoongi warned quietly.
Jimin's eyes widened, and he gave Taehyung a look. The younger just waved him off to say 'later' and Jimin nodded.
"So where was I?" Jimin asked.
"After we made up." Jungkook reminded.
"Yeah. How did it happen? Details." Taehyung ordered.
Jimin looked away. "I don't think Jungkook would appreciate it very much if I told you that." He said quietly, making Taehyung gasp.
"Really?!" He asked.
"Yeah." He laughed, blushing a little.
Jungkook tightened his arms around Jimin.
"A big day for you, guys." Taehyung teased, wiggling his eyebrows.
Jimin laughed shyly, covering his face.
"Okay. Okay. What happened after that?" He urged Jimin to go on with the story.
"He told me he wanted to take me out, but didn't say where." Jimin told. "First he took me to an ice rink, which he rented for us for two hours, so it was only us there." He continued.
Taehyung awed. "That's so romantic!" He squealed, making Hoseok throw a pillow at him with a loud 'Be quiet!' that Yoongi slapped away, so it didn't hit Taehyung.
Jimin's eyes widened again and he looked at Taehyung. "Go on please." Taehyung said excitedly.
"After that, we went shopping, where we got the sweaters and matching rings and some other matching things that Jungkook doesn't know about."
Jungkook perked up at that. "What? I did that too!" He whisper shouted.
Jimin turned to him. "Wait! Really?!" He asked.
The younger nodded, his eyes wide. "Wah! I don't believe this." He laughed quietly, leaning his head on Jimin's shoulder.
"Okay, if you're done. I need to know the rest of the story." Taehyung said, crossing his arms.
Jimin cleared his throat. "Sorry." He muttered, turning to Taehyung again. "And then we had dinner at a fancy restaurant in a private room, that Jungkook booked the day before." He explained.
Taehyung frowned. "But you had a fight the day before." He pointed out.
"Yeah. He made the reservation right after we fought." Jimin confirmed, his heart warming again at what his boyfriend did.
Taehyung couldn't help but aw again. "I didn't know Jungkook-ah was this romantic!"
"I'm literally right here." Jungkook said, raising his head to look at Taehyung.
"Yeah. Hi." Taehyung waved.
Jungkook waved back awkwardly, leaning back again to rest his head.
Jimin covered his mouth to hold back a laugh.
"Go on please." Taehyung motioned for Jimin to continue.
Jimin shrugged. "That's all, and we came home." He said with a blush covering his cheeks.
Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, that's not all. We'll continue tomorrow after breakfast."
"Why did we pick a three hour movie again?" Yoongi wondered, looking around him to find them all asleep but him and Jungkook. "We didn't even reach the second half and they all fell asleep." He muttered, looking down at Taehyung who was sleeping on his shoulder.
Jungkook sighed. "Happens every time." He mumbled, rubbing his eyes tiredly. "Let's just go to bed." He said, standing up with Jimin still sleeping in his arms. The boy fell asleep a few minutes after he finished gossiping with Taehyung, his soul mate following him.
"What about these idiots?" Yoongi asked, still sitting on the couch.
"Wait." Jungkook said, going over to Namjoon, being the least jumpy one. "Hey." Jungkook whispered, leaning down as best as he could with Jimin in his arms to shake Namjoon's shoulder. "Rap Mon, hey." He tried.
Namjoon slowly opened his eyes, and looked around him. "Ugh. I fell asleep?" He groaned, stretching his arms, and hitting Yugyeom accidently, making him groan. "Ouch. Sorry, man." He apologized.
Jungkook chuckled, bouncing Jimin in his arms a little.
"What time is it?" Yugyeom asked, rubbing his eyes, and standing up.
"I don't know, but it's really late. Why don't you stay the night and leave tomorrow after breakfast?" Namjoon offered, looking up at Yugyeom.
"That would be great, but I'll have to leave before breakfast, got an early practice tomorrow." Yugyeom explained with a yawn.
Namjoon nodded.
"Yugyeom, you can sleep in my room, it's empty. Namjoon-ah, take him to my room, and give him something to sleep in if he wants." Yoongi said, still sitting on the couch with Taehyung sleeping on his shoulder.
Namjoon nodded again, and took Yugyeom to Yoongi's room.
Jungkook went to Hoseok and shook his shoulder. "Hyung, go to your room. Jesus, why did you pick a movie that was three hours only to fall asleep?" He said, continuing to shake his shoulder until he woke up.
Hoseok woke up with a start and looked around him.
Without saying anything the older got up, and pulled a sleeping Jin with him, who was half asleep after Hoseok made him stand up. "Hmm?" Jin asked no one in particular, and Hoseok just continued to walk to Jin's room, pulling him by the sleeve.
"Finally." Jungkook said. "That was the longest day of my life." He sighed. "Goodnight, hyung." He waved to Yoongi, and went to his and Jimin's room.
Yoongi turned to look at Taehyung. "Let's go to bed, tiger." He whispered, moving to carry Taehyung to his room.
Jungkook walked into their room, only to find the mess they didn't clean up, not even the bed was clean. "Oh, come on!"
Jimin stirred awake, still with his eyes closed, the feeling of someone playing with his hair waking him up. "Mmm." He mumbled, turning in bed.
"Hey! I was enjoying the view here." Jungkook complained, still playing with Jimin's hair.
The blonde smiled, and turned again in bed. "Wanna sleep more." He murmured, pulling the covers closer to him, feeling cozy and warm.
"No! Don't do that! I'm weak for the sleepy, cuddly Jimin. Don't make us miss work again." Jungkook whined, pulling Jimin up, so he wasn't laying down anymore.
Jimin didn't protest, but hugged Jungkook instead, still with his eyes closed. "Mmm, okay. I'm gonna sleep here." He murmured sleepily, resting his head on Jungkook's chest.
"No. You don't get to be this adorable in the morning. I swear, Jimin-ssi, if you don't get up right now, I'm gonna wake you up in my own way!" He warned again, making Jimin's eyes snap open. He let go of Jungkook and ran to the bathroom. "Hey! Wait for me." Jungkook yelled after him, running to the bathroom.
Jimin stopped at the counter and turned to look at his boyfriend.
Jungkook halted, his eyes trailing over Jimin's sleepy features. "Good morning, baby." He said, going over to Jimin and giving him a kiss.
Jimin smiled, pulling away. "Morning, lovely." He said, making Jungkook smile softly.
The younger reached for their toothbrushes, handing Jimin his, and they went on with their morning routine.
When they came out of the bathroom, they looked at the state the room was in. Clothes littered the floors, their clothes from the night before in different directions, from when Jungkook had to throw them, so he could lay Jimin down on the bed after their long day. The new clothes they bought were almost out of the shopping bags. It was a right mess.
Jimin gave Jungkook an apologetic smile. "Sorry, Kookie." He said quietly.
Jungkook rested his hands on his hips. "Hey, none of that. Let's just tidy up before Hoseok hyung is finished with breakfast." He instructed, beginning to make the bed.
Jimin went to take their things out of the shopping bags and put them in place in their wardrobe. "I think we need to move your clothes here." Jimin pointed out, going to take the clothes they wore the day before to sort them back, and throwing the dirty clothes in the hamper.
Jungkook finished making the bed and turned to Jimin. "Wanna do it now?" He asked.
Jimin shrugged. "Why not." He said, leaving the room and heading to Jungkook's old room, Jungkook right behind him. "Take what you usually wear. We can leave the old clothes you don't wear anymore, here."
"Okay, babe." Jungkook nodded, taking out a bag to throw his clothes in so he can carry them all to their room.
After taking most of his clothes, and putting them in the bag, zipping it up and carrying it on his shoulder, he turned to Jimin. "Done?" Jimin asked, and Jungkook nodded.
They went to their room again, and Jungkook threw the bag on the bed, and they began to put Jungkook's things in the wardrobe.
"Kookie?" Jimin called, while hanging some of Jungkook's coats.
"Yes, baby?" Jungkook answered from his place on the bed, sitting cross legged, and folding his shirts.
"About last night," He approached the situation, a little hesitant.
Jungkook just continued to fold shirts. "What about it, baby?" He asked.
Jimin sighed. "We uh- came out to Yugyeom." He stated simply, leaning on the shelves nervously, and the next thing he knew, there were footsteps approaching the wardrobe closet.
"Didn't you want to?" Jungkook asked, frowning his eyebrows. "We can ask him to keep it a secret, if you want to. I think he's still here." He said, pointing in the direction of Yoongi's room.
The older shook his head and his hands in a silent no. "Of course I wanted to. It's just, I was wondering if it was a thing we're doing now, you know, coming out to our social circle? Would you want that?" Jimin asked, fiddling with his hands.
"Of course I want it!" Jungkook stated loudly. "I get to show you off as my boyfriend? Of course I want that." He assured, stroking Jimin's cheek. "Is that what you want? To come out to our close friends, but not the whole world?" Jungkook asked.
Jimin nodded hesitantly. "I think it's safer to do that, just for now." He admitted. He was scared of his boyfriend's reaction, but it needed to be said. He wanted to set boundaries for them. He wasn't comfortable with coming out to the whole world yet, and he needed to let Jungkook know that, so that they were on the same page.
"Okay, baby. As long as you're comfortable, that's all that matters. We can keep it on the down low until you're ready, and I'll be here then, just like I'm here right now, and if you're never ready that's okay too. Don't worry too much about it." He said softly, knocking on Jimin's head jokingly, making Jimin laugh.
Jimin looked up at Jungkook with a smile, grateful for his boyfriend's understanding. "Okay." He whispered.
"Okay?" Jungkook asked.
"Okay." Jimin repeated, jumping to wrap his legs around Jungkook's waist, and giving him a small kiss. "I love you, lovely." He said, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend's neck and resting his forehead against his.
"Hey! Why are you both in the closet? Breakfast is ready! Come on!" Hoseok yelled, leaving the room right after.
Jimin and Jungkook looked at each other and laughed.
"Okay, one hot chocolate for you, and one coffee for me. No one is here but us. Now, can you tell me all the details you were too shy to tell me in front of your boyfriend?" Taehyung said after he walked into the balcony. The same balcony Jimin had a break down in because of Yugyeom and Taehyung comforted him, only this time, it was just two best friends gossiping together about their love lives.
Jimin took his hot chocolate from Taehyung's hand, with a small thanks. "What do you wanna know?" He asked, taking a sip of his drink after.
"Oh, no! You're not pulling that card with me, Jimin-ah. I already told you, I wanna know everything, and you're gonna tell me everything, and I'm not talking about the dirty stuff, I don't wanna know anything about that to be honest, but you have to tell me about the little moments, cause those are everything in any relationship, and I wanna know what you're feeling. Does he make you happy, Minnie?" Taehyung said, asking the last part in a soft voice, wrapping his arm around his best friend.
Jimin smiled softly, looking at the city in front of him. "Oh, he does make me happy, Taetae, so much." Jimin said, taking another sip from his hot chocolate. "He's always so loving, and understanding. It's almost like a dream. I swear sometimes I think he's not real." He sighed, smiling at the thought of his boyfriend. "It almost feels like we're connected. I don't know how to explain it, but I always feel like he can read me without making any effort, and I can do that too, Tae! It's like some sort of magic, I could just look into his eyes and I would find everything I need, it's crazy." He said, widening his eyes in the process. "I don't know what would happen to me if I lost him. Sometimes I think about that, you know? When I wake up before him, and I get the chance to just, appreciate his existence. Those times I tend to think about the possibility of us not being in each other's lives even, and as much as I have a good life, and I'm happy with what I've made and who I've become, I can't help but think that, all those things won't matter if he's not with me. It's like, life without him would be pointless, you know?" Jimin rambled, still looking at the view of the city the whole time he was talking, not turning to look at his best friend until he was finished, only to find him looking at him with wide eyes.
"Jimin-ah." Taehyung whispered.
Jimin frowned. "What? What?" He asked worriedly.
"I know that you love Jungkook-ah, but right now, after you said all of that, I don't think the word love is enough." He stated in a whisper, pulling Jimin closer to him.
"Yeah. I know." Jimin said with a smile, looking down at the cup in his hands.
"Tell me what happened between you two yesterday, that got you all soft and mushy." Taehyung ordered, cutting right through the chase.
Jimin turned to Taehyung with his mouth agape. "How did yo- never mind. Okay, I'll tell you." He sighed in defeat. "But I'm warning you. It's silly, all of it." He said.
Taehyung rolled his eyes. "Have you seen me?" He asked jokingly.
Jimin laughed. "Okay. So, um, after we bought the rings, we both didn't notice this engraving, right?" Jimin said, raising his hand for Taehyung to read the engraving. "And when I took a look at it while he was driving I actually screamed." Jimin said, laughing a little after. "He hit the brakes the same second to see if I was okay, which I obviously wasn't, but physically I was fine, I mean." He explained. "This idiot, stopped the car in the middle of the road, as a reflex of me screaming." Jimin laughed again, looking down at his right hand.
Taehyung didn't say anything. He wanted Jimin to let it all out without interrupting his train of thought.
"After he pulled over, I began to freak out about buying couple rings from a store that knew who we were, and he was really great. He kept assuring me, and took out the ring to put it on for me, and kissed my hand after. He was so romantic about it without even trying. He made me feel so warm inside, I calmed down in seconds, I actually stopped overthinking the whole situation, and just let it be, just because he was there to make it all better." Jimin couldn't stop smiling while talking. "God, I feel like a school girl talking about her crush." He laughed, unconsciously rubbing his right hand that was holding the cup, with his free hand, runing his fingers over the ring.
"No, you sound like someone in love, talking about the love of their life. I'm glad Jungkook is being good to you." Taehyung said, rubbing Jimin's shoulder.
"Taehyung-ah, he's good to me even when I'm not good to him. He's literally too good to be true." Jimin said.
"What do you mean when you're not good to him?" Taehyung frowned.
Jimin looked away. "When we came home to find Yugyeom, I had a mini freak out in our room. I threw my clothes and our shopping bags everywhere. The room was a mess." He explained. "I still feel guilty about it. I took out my sweater because I couldn't find my clothes in the mess, and I threw his sweater at him, and told him it was his." Jimin shook his head. "I'm so romantic." He said sarcastically with a chuckle. "Still, he was the best boyfriend. It's like he has that title and he'll never lose it. He wore his sweater so we would be matching in front of Yugyeom, and comforted me when I told him I was jealous. He didn't make fun of me, didn't tell me my feelings were unreasonable. He just, validated my feelings." Jimin concluded. "After that, he told Yugyeom we're together, and didn't even interact with him after. I think he didn't want to trigger my jealousy." He told, smiling shyly.
"That's a good one right there." Taehyung pointed out, bumping his shoulder into Jimin's.
Jimin laughed. "We've already established that." He rolled his eyes. "I wanna make it up to him. I need to do something for him, but I don't know what, especially after this morning. I told him I didn't want to come out unless it was to our friends and family." He said quietly.
Taehyung frowned. "What's so bad about that?"
Jimin looked up at Taehyung. "Coming out?" He asked.
"No. Choosing not to." Taehyung corrected. "That's not something to feel bad about, Jimin-ah. That's something you shouldn't do unless you feel one hundred percent comfortable to. Don't come out just because it would make your boyfriend happy. It's not right, and he should respect that." Taehyung adviced.
"No. No. He actually told me the same thing. He wasn't forcing me to do something I didn't want to. I just feel bad about it. That's all." He defended his boyfriend.
Taehyung sighed. "That's good then." He let out. "And don't feel bad about it, if it continues to worry you, talk to him. I don't think anything I say would shut down that overthinking machine right here." He said, pointing at Jimin's head.
Jimin laughed. "Okay, Taehyungie. Now, tell me. What's the deal with our Yoongi hyung?" He teased, wiggling his eyebrows.
Taehyung pushed Jimin a little. "Nothing! Stop being weird, Jimin-ah." He let out, a little flustered.
Jimin hit the railing with his hand. "Something is up with him I swear!" He protested. "And you told me you'll tell me later!" Jimin said, pointing his finger at Taehyung accusingly.
"No, I didn't!" Taehyung denied.
"Yes you did!" Jimin objected. "You did this." He made waving motion with his free hand to visualise. "It means I'll tell you later!" He argued.
Taehyung looked away. "I don't know what you're talking about."
Jimin groaned. "So you seriously don't see how protective he is over you? Or the way he gravitates towards you?!" He asked incredulously. "Think we need to test it?" Jimin raised his eyebrows with an evil look.
"No! We're not doing that!" Taehyung's eyes widened, shaking his head. Back when Jimin still didn't know what Jungkook was feeling, he made these little games with Taehyung. It was the younger's idea. A semi prank to get a reaction out of Jungkook, any reaction that would give them an insight into Jungkook's thought process, so they could eventually determine whether he had feelings for Jimin or not. It was safe to say their little pranks failed every time. Jungkook had that sort of reaction that was -obviously now- holding back more than expressing what he was feeling, so he was a tough cookie to crack.
One time Taehyung pretended to bully Jimin in front of Jungkook, so the younger simply went to Namjoon and told him, only for Jimin and Taehyung to explain to Namjoon how they were joking without exposing their secret.
Another time Jimin pretended to be sick, and had Taehyung go to Jungkook to let him know, only for the younger to call the staff doctor, telling him to go check on Jimin, and simply resuming his practice.
"Why not? It's gonna be fun!" Jimin exclaimed, jumping a little.
"Jimin-ah, I don't want him to have feelings for me." Taehyung admitted quietly, making Jimin freeze in place.
"Oh." Jimin let out. "Sorry, I took it too far." He apologized.
"It's okay." Taehyung said quietly. "I just don't want things to be complicated. I love him as my hyung. That's all, and if he likes me like that, it's gonna complicate things." He explained.
Jimin sighed. "Yeah, I get it, Tae."
They stood there for a while, just enjoying the comfortable silence, and Jimin started to think about his best friend and his hyung. He had a feeling there was something up with Yoongi, and he trusted his feelings enough to believe it was true. He thought about what his best friend said, and what would happen with the two of them if things escalated. He could feel the drama approaching, and he needed to be ready to protect his best friend.
"Let's go back. I need to finish up a few things before we go home, and I think your lover boy is wondering where you are already." Taehyung said, taking the two cups and leaving the balcony first, with Jimin right behind.
"Baby! I was looking for you everywhere!" Jungkook said, running the few steps to Jimin and engulfing him in a hug.
Taehyung turned around to look at Jimin. "See?" He laughed, walking away.
Jimin sighed, enjoying the feeling of Jungkook's arms around him. "I was catching up with Tae." He explained. "What did you do while I was gone?" He asked, leaning back to look at his boyfriend's face.
"I was hanging out with Jin hyung." Jungkook replied, swaying them a little in place. "What did you talk to Taehyung hyung about?" He asked, narrowing his eyes.
Jimin blushed. "I'm not telling you."
"Not fair. I bet you were talking about me, right?" Jungkook stated simply, like it was the most obvious thing in the world, and it was.
"Maybe we were, maybe we weren't. We'll never know." Jimin teased, shrugging in Jungkook's hold.
Jungkook raised his eyebrows. "Oh, really? Okay then." He said, moving his fingers to tickle Jimin.
"No!" Jimin squealed, breaking from Jungkook's hold and running away, Jungkook running after him.
