4: Two Clicks of a Pen
Soft Body
Tucker stared at Ruby's résumé. She had exceptionally little experience, especially in the sales department. He clicked his pen in his hand twice.
He could hire her, taking a risk. She certainly talked like she was a quick learner, but what if she was just talk and he was left with an additional wasted paycheck?
Easy, he could fire her. He wrote down this option in his notebook. He continued to think.
If he didn't hire her, then he'd likely never see her again. He reluctantly wrote this down as a possibility. He clicked his pen again.
Finally he thought about the best outcome. He hired her, she was stellar, maybe he gets some action, financial and otherwise. Tucker did not bother writing this one down. He reached for his phone, excited at the possibilities, feeling like he was in middle school again.
