Carol spoke perfunctorily as she worked.
âI know, I know. I wonder if tigers eat sweet food?â
âTigers are carnivores and hunt for their prey. Thereâs no refined sucrose in the natural environment
where they live, and the sugar needed by their bodies will be absorbed from plants and animalsâ¦â
Tigger was very happy to give Carol a science lesson.
Carol interrupted it helplessly. âTigger, play me a song. I need background music to get into the
groove!â
Tigger huffed reluctantly. It was enjoying the process of conversation with humans.
Nicole watched Tigger for a while and could not help but smile. She knocked on the door.
âTigger, have you found your new hobby?â
At the sound of Nicoleâs voice, Tigger excitedly jumped down from the high stool and pounced on
Nicoleâs body to act spoiled.
âMamaââ
Nicole laughed and stroked the tigerâs soft and comfy fur.
Several maids hurried Iy put down the work in their hands and looked at Nicole expectantly. âWhat
brings you here, Miss?â
Nicole smiled. âIâm here for Tigger. You guys carry onâ¦â Then, she carried Tigger out. The remaining
servants breathed a sigh of relief. Looking at her back, they could not help but speak.
âThe Young Lady has such a good character. Iâve worked for several rich families before, but they all
rely on the little wealth they have to flaunt their power. They also boss us around. But Ms. Stanton even
personally came to the kitchen. Sheâs really different!â Carol smiled. âThatâs right. Iâve been here for five
to six years. Iâve never seen Ms. Stanton say a harsh word to us before. Look at the butler. He always
has a sullen face, but the moment Ms. Stanton is mentioned, heâs full of praise for herâ¦â âI heard that
Ms. Stanton broke up with the President of Ferguson Corporation. Is that true?â A newcomer inquired.
Carol put down the things in her hand and gave the newcomer a wary look.
âDidnât the butler tell you not to pry around the masterâs business before you came here?â
The maid mumbled, knowing that she said the wrong thing. âI was just asking. Iâm not that curious.â
Carol rolled her eyes and lowered her head to continue doing her business.
Nicole carried Tigger into the room, found Mollyâs number, and dialed it. It rang a few times. Nicole was
very nervous as she listened. Finally, the call was picked up.
Nicole sighed in relief. âLuckily, Molly didnât block me!â
âNikki? Is something wrong?â
Molly sounded weak and dispirited.
Nicole immediately said, âMolly, Tigger has been a bit insane recently. I want you to take a look at it for
me. Can we meet up tomorrow?â
Molly was silent for a few seconds before sniffling.
âThrow it away. Iâll send you a new one! What animal do you like? Panda? Fox?â
Nicole was stunned. In her arms, Tigger could not hold back anymore and had a rebellious outburst.
âMean Molly! Youâre the most annoying person in the world! I want to factory reset you! I want to
eliminate your right to program me!â
Molly laughed. âLooks like it really is insane! Okay, Iâll see you tomorrow.â
She hung up the phone before Nicole could react.
Nicole was unable to stop Tigger in time, but instead of backfiring, Molly had agreed.
She laughed and rubbed Tiggerâs head, who was still throwing a tantrum.
âGood boy, donât be angry. I was just finding an excuse. I wonât take you to see her tomorrow. Donât be
scared!â
Tigger tilted its head in anger. âNo, I have to go! I want to go and question that heartless woman in
person!â
