The silence that hung in the air was thick and uncomfortable as you and Yeji sat on the bed beside each other.

You haven't even glanced at each other in the last few minutes and you can feel the tension between you.

You fought about how she got jealous when someone flirted with you at dinner tonight and it got a little out of hand as you both said a few things you probably shouldn't have, though neither of you went too far and said things you knew you'd never be able to take back.

Truthfully, your feelings weren't hurt by what she said and you knew hers weren't either.

Now, you're both just too stubborn to speak or apologize and just sit there in silence instead.

But it was starting to overwhelm you and you decided that, perhaps, some space would do you both good tonight.

So you reached for your phone that was connected to your charger and then grabbed your pillow to go to sleep in the guest room.

But when you tried to grab your pillow, Yeji grabbed your hand.

"Where are you going?"

"Across the hall to the guest room."

"Don't." She said as she held your hand a little tighter, though not too tight.

"Why? Yeji, this is the first time we've spoken to each other in a while and it's clear that we're both still tense. I think some space would do us both some good for the night."

You prepared to get off the bed but as you did so, she gently pushed you onto the bed and hovered over you.

"Don't. Please." She whispered.

Hearing that one-word fall from your lips made you rethink leaving the room for the night.

She leaned in a little closer, her lips almost brushing against yours as you stared deeply into her brown eyes.

"Why, Yeji?" You asked.

"Because I don't want you to. That's why. Now just shut up and kiss me." She said as she clenched her jaw.

You couldn't resist.

So you leaned in and gave her that passionate kiss she'd been waiting for.

Wrapping your arms around her, you quickly got lost in the taste of her lips as your hands wandered across her body.

The desire you both felt was strong and soon enough, your clothes were tossed across the room beside hers.

She was as close to you as two people could possibly be as you got lost in each other and the deep, passionate kisses you were sharing and even begging her for at this point.

For a few minutes there, the tension remained strong between you.

But it didn't take long for you both to calm down as the tension faded away and the soft romance that's always there between you two returned.

The love you have for each other was felt with each touch, every kiss, and each time your eyes locked.

Gently, you cupped her cheek and she leaned into your touch for a moment before putting her forehead against yours.

"I'm sorry, Yeji," You said. "For everything."

"I know, baby. I'm sorry too." She softly spoke before kissing you again.

For the rest of the time you were intimate, it was just like that; so soft and so full of love.

"I love you." You whispered and grabbed her hands.

She smiled at you as she intertwined your fingers together and kissed across your face.

"I love you too."

Her lips met yours again and you shared loving kisses as you both came down from the clouds a few minutes later.

"I'm sorry." You whispered.

"Shh. It's forgotten about, okay? Everything's fine now."

"I know. I just feel bad. I hate when we fight."

"I hate it too, darling. But it's all behind us. I love you so much." She spoke before kissing the corners of your lips.

"Yeji? Let's never fight again."

She snuggled up to you, a soft smile tugging at her lips as she kissed and held you close.

"Okay, my love. Never again, I promise."
